I love this series. I read the other books and didn’t realize I was missing book 1. So thankfully I was able to get it. Although I had read the others before this, I never felt like I was missing anything. I loved every minute of this. The narrator was perfect for this book. It made listening a relaxing time for me. My favorite part was the recipes included at the end. I can’t wait to give some a try. Pick this up today. You won’t be disappointed!!!!!

Murder Creek (Audio Book) by Jane Suen – Review by Shelly Kittell

I found the narration quite a entertaining addition to the story. She adds attitude and personality to the characters. The story rocks. Strong female sleuth figures out the mystery.   She is up against a town trying to hide the secret of who killed a woman 20 years prior. This was a delightful mystery that had pitfalls and twists at the best spots. Every time I’m thinking I figured it out, here came a curve. I love cozy mysteries because of the humor while you are solving them. I would recommend this to all my cozy mystery fans out there.

Murder Creek (Audio Book) by Jane Suen – Review by Kerry Baker

It has been quite a while since I read this book so when I saw the audio version I thought it would be a great way to go through a re-read. I thought the narrator did a great job. I was completely pulled into the story and, although I knew what was going to happen, I still felt the mystery and the intrigue. I was lost in the story from the moment I started listening. I think it works well as a short book, I could fit this story in easily to a hectic schedule.

This is an author that I really enjoy and I think the books translate well to audio. I really enjoyed getting into this book and I will definitely be listening to more.

Notebook Mysteries ~ Emma (Notebook Mysteries Book 1) Audio Book by Kimberly Mullins

Emma is the first audio book in the Notebook Mysteries Series and I absolutely loved listening to it.  This is my first audiobook by this author and I  definitely can’t wait to listen to more by her. The narrator did a wonderful job of  making you feel as if you are a part of the story. The narrator did a great job of changing the tone of their voice with each different character.  This is a fun yet entertaining story that takes you on quite the adventure as we follow Emma. I found myself lost in the narration and couldn’t bring myself to stop listening until I finished.  I highly recommend listening to this story and look forward to reading/listening to more by this author.

Notebook Mysteries ~ Emma (Notebook Mysteries Book 1) Audio Book by Kimberly Mullins – Review by Kay Stritesky

I loved listening to this title! The narrator has a soothing voice and the story line is fantastic! Emma is growing up in a city recovering from the great fire and as she grows as a person she grows as a character. From the very beginning readers are sucked in and wanting to know what happens next! I am looking forward to more in this series!

Notebook Mysteries ~ Emma (Notebook Mysteries Book 1) Audio Book by Kimberly Mullins – Review by Amanda Glaspie

This was an interesting story of Emma who grow up in the late 1800s and after surviving the great Chicago Fire. Emma is observes everything and notices things that no one else does. This leads her to start solving mysteries and solve a crime no one knew was a crime. I did feel like there could have been a bit more character development as some things I felt like were skimmed over. Overall, this was a fun listen with a twist at the end.

This audio was fun to listen to. Enjoyable story and likable characters as we are thrown in after the Great Chicago Fire. Emma is all about adventure and has a keen sense in her way of thinking for sure. Emma is helping to run her family bakery and also help deliver as well…Emma discovers when helping deliver bakery goods is there a robbery being taken place?? Mystery, adventure and a notebook this story is fun and enjoyable!

Notebook Mysteries ~ Emma (Notebook Mysteries Book 1) Audio Book by Kimberly Mullins – Review by Ashley Hasting

I’ve read her other books, and didn’t realize there was a first! SO of course I had to come read this one as well! I use audibles at work, so I did this one! Emma is such a smart and observant girl. It all started with her mother. Her mother always taught her to be aware of her surroundings. Unfortunately, her mother passed away during a massive fire. Years later, Emma is a very curious teenager who tries to keep observant of her world. Thanks to this, she discovers and helps solve many mysteries and many more. Please try this series out! So worth it!

Notebook Mysteries ~ Emma (Notebook Mysteries Book 1) Audio Book by Kimberly Mullins – Review by Bobbi Wagner

This is my first audio book by this author.  I enjoyed listening to it as the narrator made the story come to life.  This is an engaging story where I had no problem imagining what was happening.  I also enjoyed how the narrator used different tones to add to the story.  This was an easy story to listen to and it provided much entertainment.  This is a story about Emma and her adventures.  This is a story where the characters are connectable and are supportive of each other.  I look forward to listening to more from this author.  I highly recommend this audio.

To be a Fae Guardian (Realm Chronicles Book 2) Audio Book by Tricia Copeland – Review by Bobbi Wagner

This is my first audiobook by this author.  I really enjoyed listening to it.  I look forward to listening to more by this author.  I enjoyed how the narrator was able to pull me into the story by using different tones of voice.   It also helped keep the story engaging.  The characters  took me on an adventure of magic and evil spirits.   They are not only connectable and the narrator gave life to the story. This is a story of a journey to Middle Earth and a race of survival to save all from darkness.  I highly recommend this audiobook and this author.

Notebook Mysteries ~ Emma (Notebook Mysteries Book 1) Audio Book by Kimberly Mullins – Review by Kerry Baker

This is such a great story and it is one that reat comes to life via the audio book. I really think Emma’s personality shines through and it feels like you are seeing everything through her eyes. I kept loving track of the time when I was listening to this book and I had listened to it all before I knew I was near the end. It was a great.bpok to read but and even better one to experience.

To be a Fae Guardian (Realm Chronicles Book 2) Audio Book by Tricia Copeland – Review by Taylor K Stephenson

~Journey to Middle Earth with a Fae Queen~

This is my second time through this book. I read the kindle versions first, but when I saw the audible come out I knew I had to try it out. Titania is such a force to be reckoned with. The story is strongly gripping, and I can easily see that Titania and her entourage have done some major development in their adventures so far.

I had a hard time listening through the audible, but I gave it 5 stars because it’s probably personal preference. I found the audio to be monotone, a little difficult to hear the words and not just the lyrical cadence of the narrator. It’s possible that reading through it myself the first read through, I was picturing the inflection going a little differently for Titania. Overall though a very thorough performance on this fantasy journey.

Titania goes through so much, is so level headed, and well rounded. Truly a hero! If you are questioning picking up this series, you won’t be disappointed. Fae, Middle Earth, strong companionship, difficult choices, a kingdom in need of justice only a young heroine can redeem!!! What more could you ask for in a fantastical journey to Middle Earth?

To be a Fae Guardian (Realm Chronicles Book 2) Audio Book by Tricia Copeland – Review by Shelly Kittell

This story is so packed full of action, adventure, suspense, and intrigue. Titania is one of my favorite fantasy characters. She is badass and strong by putting her kingdom and people before everything else. She really isn’t afraid to break laws to protect people. This is book 2 of the series and continues Titania’s adventures of dealing with consequences of trying to protect the kingdom. Now one person is facing those consequences. Can she save him and her kingdom? She has so much pressure all around her and secrets to hide. The author does a great job in writing her and developing the plot around her struggles. It’s been a delight to listen this story. I’ve enjoyed going through and hearing Titania battle through and get what she needs. I have read this story but to listen to it on audio gives it a whole new level of comprehension because you can picture it, listen and basically create your own picture in your mind. It’s another level of imagination. The narrator did a great job of changing the voices around and giving excitement to the story. She kept the story going. I really enjoyed the story. Everything came together and made it all work.

To be a Fae Guardian (Realm Chronicles Book 2) Audio Book by Tricia Copeland – Review by Kerry Baker

I love being able to follow up a good book with the audio version so I was excited to get to read this one. I thought the narrator did a great job of bringing the story and the characters to life. They made them feel so much more real and I could visualise everything with ease.
The story still felt just as exciting as when I was reading it Ns even though I knew what was coming I still felt like I was surprised anew. I really enjoyed this adaption and hope to listen to more of this authors books.

Notebook Mysteries ~ Emma (Notebook Mysteries Book 1) Audio Book by Kimberly Mullins – Review by Shelly Kittell

Outstanding Story

Emma is an exciting story based in 1881,. She is a young girl that gets herself involved in mysteries and adventures that she probably shouldn’t. But hey, she’s an adventurous, brave and courageous young girl that enjoys solving problems. The story is well-written and full of mystery and suspense. It’s even full of good sounding food. The mystery focuses around a bakery so there are recipes for some yummy deserts. Emma introduces us to her friends that will help her solve the mystery. This is a fun and quick listen for a teen. The narration is okay. I do wish there could have been a little more variety to the voice. The narration was a tad monotone. Overall, it was a good experience and I do recommend this for your teen/youth age group. Fun book that I enjoyed.

Murder Creek (Audio Book) by Jane Suen – Review by Dr. Anya Schultz

Murder Creek is a story about a college student named Eve, who is working on a term paper. She states that she always gets weird feelings about different events in time, like murder. She ended up feeling something eerie at Murder Creek. This feeling was so strong she started to research the history of Murder Creek and became curious about the disappearance of a young teen girl named Lacey. This brought her to visit Murder Creek and start to investigate this unsolved case. Much of the town was very quiet about this story, but Eve’s determination started to open people up to giving some answers. I enjoyed this book. As someone who loves to solve puzzles, I had fun trying to figure out where the story was going to take me. There are many characters that play a part in this book so I would say pay attention. Also I liked how with new information I was finding myself revamping my theory. While I did not fall in love with any of the characters, they all played a good role. I enjoyed the story line and it was a quick read.

Murder Creek (Eve Sawyer Mystery, #1)Murder Creek by Jane Suen
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

A fun quick read/listen. Eve is a college student with a heightened sense of intuition who finds herself investigating a small town cold case for a journalism paper. She goes on a journey to try to solve the mystery of a missing girl. Once in Murder Creek, she finds the townspeople to be receptive to her questions. The time she spends there, she learns of a second mystery that occurred 200 years ago – and the facts of both cases helps her solve the case. Eve is a likeable character who you will want success for.
This is an easy-to-read mystery best suited for teens and young adults as well as general audiences who like clean, quick read mysteries on the light side.

Heart Broken (Satan’s Devils MC #5) Audio Book by Manda Mellett – Review by Ashley Westerman

I loved this book. It was a great story, and my emotions were all over the place! I have not read the previous books in the series. I didn’t feel lost, but I can’t wait to go back and read them! I really like the Motorcycle Club and Cop becoming friends, especially because it’s “forbidden” in the motorcycle club world. I can’t wait to see what happens next, but first I have to catch up on the books before this one. Give it a listen or read, you won’t be disappointed! The narrators did a great job telling this story. It was told in such a way that kept me hooked the entire time!

Heart Broken ( Satan’s Devils MC #5 ) Audio Book by Manda Mallett – Review by Caralee Loonat

I have read and listened to many books by this author and this one was heart wrenching and really made me rout for the main character. I really like how the author brings the character’s pasts into the story and is able to enrich it. I really have grown to really enjoy mC romances.

The characters are very realistic and grab the reader’s attention from the very beginning. I really like how there is a good mix of drama along with romance. I also like how there is not a straightforward road for that romance makes it more realistic. The drama is a perfect bit to the storyline. I look forward to reading more from this series and author

Heart Broken (Satan’s Devils MC #5) Audio Book by Manda Mellett – Review by Lorralei Hoerner

Wow!! I loved this story… especially since Heart is part of the Satan’s Devils MC and Marc is a cop. At first Marc is trying to help investigate a terrible accident that invoked Heart and his late wife Crystal.. but what becomes an investigation leads into a friendship of Marc and Heart but also sinister plot against Marc….along with some hot scenes between Marc and Heart but also grief, doubt and sadness with Both characters and their stories. This was a great story to listen to.

Heart Broken (Satan’s Devils MC #5) Audio Book by Manda Mellett – Review by Ashley Hasting

This series gives me such an emotional roller coaster ride, and I love them for it! Heart has finally woken from his coma, but with Crystal gone, he has become heartbroken. This resulted in him doing bad decisions and being given a 6 month suspension from Satan Devils to give him one last chance. He was going to give up and not take that chance, till he heard the words from Mark, and the rest you need to listen to! Lots of past history, drama, and karma, but so good to listen to!

Heart Broken (Satan’s Devils MC #5) Audio Book by Manda Mellett – Review by Amanda Glaspie

Another great book in the series and this by far is my favorite. Following Heart after he is voted out as a Ronan, he chooses to travel his late wife’s road trip. Along the way he starts talking to Mark, one of the investigators for his and Crystals accident, where it becomes evident, she was meant to be in his life. This book brings one surprise after another while bringing hope and love. Fantastic!

Heart Broken: Satan’s Devils Book 5 by Manda Mellett

Narrated by Sierra Kline and Logan McAllister

Five Stars

This book is officially my new favorite, but I tend to say that a lot about this author. She is one of my go to authors because her writing never fails to amaze me. The storylines are heartfelt and often gut wrenching. Heart and Marc make a great couple. Even though the emotions run deep, the action is a non-stop roller coaster ride. Can’t wait to see what this author has up next for us.

Sierra Kline and Logan McAllister are awesome narrators. Their voices blend well. They bring all of the characters to life.  Awesome 5+ star listen.

Heart Broken (Satan’s Devils MC #5) Audio Book by Manda Mellett – Review by Shelly Kittell

Oh my! The author always writes such heart wrenching and heartwarming books. This is another winner in the audio files. The narrators again do a terrific job of presenting Hear and Marc’s story. I was on the edge of my seat at time’s. Heart did such a good job staying straight edged when she gave her updates and surprised when he found that Drummer paved the way for him to get through the time on the road. Heart really was going through a very tough time. Marc tried to help him and to also solve this murder. The whole dang department seemed on the take. She gets an A from me for perseverance.. They had challenges to face and face them they did.. These two sure seemed meant to be. Strong emotions, heart felt pain made this story so raw and vulnerable. The narrators brought it out and I give it a bit 5 stars.

I highly recommend listening to the other’s in this series if you haven’t already.  They are just as good as this one and the narrator does a wonderful job of bringing the characters and story to life. I could listen to  him all day long. Just when I thought this Series couldn’t get any better then this one comes along. This was another outstanding read! I just love this series and would recommend it to anyone, maybe not the young readers just because it can get a little R rated. This story is a fast pace and you are wanting more. I listened to this one in two sittings. And look forward to more if this author!

Heart Broken (Satan’s Devils MC #5) Audio Book by Manda Mellett – Review by Kerry Baker

This is such an emotional story. It draws you in completely and just tears at your heart. More than once this book had me in tears as it took me along for the journey.
The connection between these characters was about more than just any attraction. You could feel their bond growing with each interaction.
This book is definitely one of my all time favourites from this author and it really does add to this series. Yet another fantastic story but such a talented author.

Heart Broken (Satan’s Devils MC #5) Audio Book by Manda Mellett – Review by Cindy Mayberry

Here is another fast paced, suspenseful, emotional rollercoaster. I didn’t think this author could break me down again. I thought she had done her worst. I was wrong! This is a continuation of Heart’s story. While out on his own for 6 months, all he wants is to be with Crystal. He is so angry and the cops are doing nothing to find her murderer. But there is Marc, a detective who is getting no help from the dirty cops she is stuck working with. Something is rotten, and she is getting the dirty end of it all. There will be no spoilers here! You have to read it for yourself. This author has continued to write stories for the Satan’s Devils MC and the strength the characters must endeavor. I was captured before the first chapter ended. Had even cried before chapter 2 began. I recommend you start this series at Book 1. Meet the characters and their places in this story. This is an audible book and the narrators are fantastic. Listening to this story makes it so much more intense. I Love This Series and the Author who wrote it.
