Okay, I cannot get enough of Wednesday’s name. First of all. Secondly, who could resist the cutest little love story with paranormal/supernatural aspects, best friend and soul mate vibes galore. Right away, you get the impression that this is going to have a happy ending, despite some of the main character’s best efforts to ensure that they break it off. I also didn’t realize it was not the first installment in this series, and will be sure to go back and read more of this authors work.

I’m always looking for something with a touch of something different, and this author definitely added some spice and suspense into the mix. I did feel as though there was a lot of reiteration of the characters feelings, though I’m sure it was just to hit the point home, it just seemed like it dragged out the story line a little. This, however, is what my love dreams are made of, and eventually will find the best friend in life that just wants me to have it all, and just be me. Overall, a great little read, brought forward this reader’s giggles, gasps, and goosebumps.

Xavier Knight is the new detective assigned as Lexi’s partner. He’s not without some skeletons in his closet either, although he keeps that door pretty closed. What he’s not happy about is that he’s been hired to keep an eye on Lexi. She’s a loose cannon and could become a liability to the division. Xavier isn’t sure he can defy the trust of his partner.

There is a child killer on the loose and Lexi is pretty sure she knows who’s committing these crimes. How can she solve these murders when her shield is in question?

I love this author and this is only the second book I’ve read of hers. This story is gritty and covers some very difficult themes that are unfortunately happening far too often in our country. I look forward to reading more of Ms. Flade’s work!

This book is a quick read and centers on the veil in the tabernacle ripping during the crucifixion of Jesus. It is biblical fiction and revolves around a Jewish boy turning 13 and the importance and customs that go along with that. He ends up witnessing the ripping of the veil. It is interesting to imagine the people who actually witnessed these events, and this book helps tell that story.

Just Wow. This is the 3rd installment in the Freemason series. I am always captivated when it comes to a good military story, even when it may not be the main plot. I absolutely love Jude and Sienna’s story. The attraction they have for one another is strong. When Sienna reveals when they truly first met, Jude is taken aback. He realizes that they have more in common than he originally thought. The way their story unfolds is just amazing. I love that the author shows us how strong Sienna is all while showing her vulnerability as well. Jude is not just a protector but the things that are revealed even has me swooning about how much of a good man he is.  I am looking forward to the next installment as I feel in each book you are given a glimpse as to what’s to come.

This is the third book in this wonderful series, and I cannot get enough! The way that these books are written had me on the edge of my seat and I had to know what was going to happen! I was wishing I had an off day so I could spend the day curled up finishing this series. This book centered around Jude, who has been on the hunt for his sister who was taken years ago by this bad organization of people and Sienna who has military experience and helps run the home for saved children. When she suggests that she go undercover to find his sister Jude is at a loss. This book had me in the feels and biting my teeth. You need to read this book because it was just IMMACULATE!!

He has to find a way to save himself and his family. They must escape and stay away from danger.
If you like the supernatural, and you like thrillers – you will enjoy this book!

I love this story! I truly wanted to keep reading long after the book was over!
Kendall is a reporter and her whole career is going down the tubes. Her father offers her the opportunity of a different type of story than she is used to. This story is definitely going to have her stretch her reporting skills. Her father has a lead on an underground MMA ring that isn’t illegal but also isn’t well known. What Kendall finds there is a man that is going to challenge her beliefs. Chad can tell that the sparks are flying with Kendall but its going to take a lot of effort to convince her that they are both feeling things that are real and worth more than one night.
I truly feel that this is a great romance read. It was hard to put down and I definitely recommend it!

This is a fun filled YA fantasy story that I found myself being pulled in by straight away. I loved that the book was set in New Orleans. It felt like the author must have really captured what it is like and I found I could image the scenes with ease.
I really enjoyed the mix of characters in the book. With everything going on within the City I liked how they each added something to the overall story while Miranda still shone as the heroine. This author really knows how to bring a diverse range to her work and this is another success to add to the list.

When I started reading this book I didn’t realise it was the second in the series. However, although I can see where the benefit would be in reading this series in order this book definitely stands up on its own. This is a much more emotional and in depth story than I was expecting. It covers some very intense and heart breaking topics but the author handles these effortlessly.
I was pulled into this book and the characters. They had such gripping storylines and I could see the development throughout the book. The first thing I will be doing is to go back and read the first book in this series.

Wow I was completely captivated by this sports romance story. The characters were so likeable and I loved that even though there was uncertainty and secrets they weren’t anything to destroy the relationship. More like things and misunderstanding that were easy to work out. The connection and attraction between our couple was instant and amazing to see and feel.

Kendall is the sports reporter for a local newspaper. She doesn’t know how she got the job but she doesn’t want to lose it. When her job becomes at risk unless she finds a story her dad and ex boxer helps her out.
He introduces her to Chad the new local up and coming fighter. After seeing him in action she is impressed and can see his talent but there is more to him that meets the eye.

Chad is holding secrets which he doesn’t want revealed and so when he is approached by Kendall to do an interview he declines.
It’s then we start to really see the feelings and emotion between the pair and as the secrets unravel and misunderstandings are made can they keep going and give their relationship a fighting chance?

This author just has a way with her words to draw you in and immerse you into the story like you are there with all the characters, seeing and hearing everything they are. I found myself singing along with all the clues Ruby finds which was fun and different.

There is a second part to this story so don’t expect everything to be wrapped up in a little bow. Personally I can’t wait to read the next part.

An amazing trip back in time! Erin is left a box with 8 magical figurines in it (there used to be 12) from her grandmother, with a mysterious note. The adventure begins when Arick is brought in to help tell her more about it. I really can’t tell you a whole lot because you have to read this incredible journey. I can tell you that she wakes in Nazi-occupied France. The characters are so well-written. You can almost feel like you are there in the story, that’s how relatable these characters are. Well done! The plot is easy to follow and flows fairly smooth, even with a few choppy sections in there. This is truly a fascinating story that revolves around her aunt, that she is named for, and a piece of music that creates a hauntingly beautiful memory. The ending was breathtaking. This is one of the best time-travel pieces I’ve read this year. An amazing story that fans of history, music, and/or romance should read. I’d give it more than 5 stars if I could.

A man’s choice years ago will ripple through the years and has embedded into the soul of Rex, when something happens with his son’s his past in the Air Force comes rushing back with a visitor, he was not expecting to confront him.

Can Rex try and help his son’s and right a wrong from the past, you will need to delve into this wonderful book.

This is the first book I have read from this author and to be honest I was not sure what to expect, this is not normally a book I would gravitate to, but I was recommended to take a chance on it, and I was not disappointed. The story is quite a heavy subject matter but the way the author weaves you through the past to the future is refreshing and quite easy to read. I love a good, flawed character and Rex is one who has tried to recover from his past but as hard he works, he never seems to catch a break. The story has an added depth with the mystery of his sons and the accident of the fisherman which just brings more memories to the front for Rex.

Overall, the story is well written, with the twists and turns and anticipation will have you glued to the book until the last page. The story is full of angst and what if’s which ends up making me think about decisions in life and how they affect people in my life. I recommend this book and can’t wait to read more by this wonderfully discovered author.

This is the first part of The Emergence Duology and lays a foundation for our MC., Miranda. I really liked the story and was swept away with Miranda’s journey of self-discovery, friendships and life challenges. I am really keen to explore the magical side as now I feel relationships are set up and the stage is set for more to come. I enjoyed the flow of the story and the way the author interspersed the humour to balance some of the heavier aspects of the story. Looking forward to second part in book 2.

This was a good 4 star read. This was a different genre than what I typically read but I really enjoyed it. Dex is a true family man and is trying to keep things together for his family. He left a good job due to being gone so much and went with a job that was close to home. Things take a scary twist when his family is kidnapped from their home. WIll he be able to keep his family safe? What do the kidnappers want?

Overall this was an edge of your seat read. The author does a great job with his writing and it pulls you right in. I like how he would have notes at the end of each chapter. The ending has left me wondering if we will see another book. I look forward to reading more from this author. 1-click and get started today.

The Intruders is a fast paced Supernatural Thriller that is packed with action ,mystery and suspense. This is one of those books that will pull you in from the beginning and has your on the edge of your seat trying to put all the pieces together to figure out what is going to happen next. Im going to be honest I wasn’t real sure going in what to expect but I was intrigued by the title and the over. Boy am I glad I grabbed this book. This is a new to me author and hos style of writing and attention to detail make it seem so real. The characters are developed and make the story come to life. I literally read this in one afternoon I had to know what was going to happen next. This is a story about Dex , he’s a family man who works as a used car salesman and finds himself in a situation where he’s being held in a basement . Can they escape from the torture they’ve endured? I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. I don’t want to giveaway anymore. If you’re into this genre this is one you don’t want to miss. I can’t wait to read more from this Author.

This is my first read by Barb Jones so I wasn’t sure what to expect. Queen’s Destiny sort of took me by surprise. I really liked the idea of the book but felt like some of the elements were rushed, while others were unnecessarily drawn out. I did like how the story alternated between time periods but found myself lost at times because of it. I love all the paranormal aspects of the story including vampires, werewolves, and witches, but I found myself getting lost in all the different characters. Overall, this was a very well written story with wonderful ideas and great world building. However, I still felt like something was missing; almost like a lost connection somewhere along the way. I do feel that this series could have a lot of potential and cannot wait to read the next book.

I know these are characters we already knew of from earlier series but oh my, there is something incredibly hot and a sexy dangerous man who’s entire life was surrounded by or working in the Mafia, at least in this world.

I think I started crushing on Salvatore from the beginning and it grew from there.

From the beginning Adrianna didn’t hold back. She stood up to him every time she got a chance and their confrontations were popcorn worthy.

Salvatore made me think of the saying about onions and peeling back the layers. What you see at the beginning with him isn’t what you find when you get to his heart.

I am so happy that this new series is here and I can’t wait to see what happens with all of the family and get introduced to even more amazing and strong characters both male and female.

This author is one of those that I grab as soon as I see there is a new book without reading the synopsis.

I’ve now read a few of Wickstrom’s other children’s books and love each of them. This one was no different and a wonderful read! I just love hearing how simple scientific concepts are transitioned into tales for children to developmentally understand and interpret for their own sense of being. As a mother and a former preschool teacher, this will be another great addition to your children’s library!
This story deals with a nest of Warblers and one day a much larger, different single egg appears in their nest. Already presenting judgment from just its size, the mama warbler decides to take a positive approach by saying if she is able to bring food to her own younglings that she could do the same for this new, different bird. As criticism continues, an unexpected situation occurs, which changes the perspective of this new, larger bird being in the nest. Without giving too much away, this is such a great lesson for young children to learn acceptance, having a positive mindset, and working towards seeking the best in others.

She showed up a few days before the conference regarding the project is set to begin so she can enjoy some rest and relaxation. Her first night takes an interesting turn when she saves the life of a man that collapses in front of her…and then meets a handsome stranger that she is almost instantly attracted to. However, she is surprised when she walks in on the first day of the conference to see the handsome stranger introducing himself as the owner of the company who has hired the one she works for.

Chase purposely didn’t introduce himself because people are usually after him due to his bank account. So, when Kate doesn’t know who he is, he is relieved to find her feelings are genuine. He does, however, have quite the challenge ahead of him to break down her walls and her reluctance to dating someone who she works for. Once they return to the US, Kate’s safety is still in danger and she finds herself in an extremely dangerous situation. When she is recovering, she is hit with even more shocking news when her mother reveals the truth about her father. How will this come into play in future books?

I found these characters to be interesting. The book spends quite a bit of time introducing different types of play in the bedroom. Chase and Kate’s relationship is full of chemistry…but also danger being who they each are (separately and together). I am interested in seeing how the last revelation plays out as they move forward. Overall, a good book.
