This was a great 5 star read. I was pulled in right from the start and didn’t want to put it down.
Jude and Sienna’s story was intense. Jude has set some rules for himself while he is searching for his sister but Sienna puts a little snag in that. You can feel their attraction coming right off the pages. When an opportunity comes up for him to potentially find his sister it could put Sienna in danger. Will Jude take the chance on her safety? Will he find his sister?

Overall I really enjoyed this book and series. We get danger, suspense, romance and so much more. The book can be read as a stand alone but I suggest you read from the start. This author and series are quickly becoming favorites for me. 1-click and get started today.

The struggle of finding or rebuilding oneself is never an easy one. When you find yourself having to live up to others’ expectations or get past their disappointment, it can be even more difficult. This is where Chad finds himself. Trying to live up to one view, live down another, while not really knowing who he is. As Chad struggles, he does something for himself, he starts MMA fighting.

Chad finds the boxing trainer he wants and convinces him to come out of retirement to train Chad. It just so happens that the trainer’s daughter, Kendall, is a sports reporter for the local paper. Upon meeting Kendall, Chad has a strong attraction that he doesn’t want to fight but knows he needs to because of who Kendall is.

The energy and chemistry between Chad and Kendall is felt through the pages. I don’t know if the author captured the boxing correctly, but she definitely nailed all the feels that go along with this one. Fantastic story.

Queen’s Destiny is the first installment in the Blood Prophecy series. It follows Amber, who is taking a new job at a Seattle Museum. Chloe, her ner coworker/witch. As well as vampires and wolves. This Paranormal Romance has it all; wolves, vampires, magic, prophecy, fights, etc. It can be easy to get a little lost with the consistent time jumps going back to add information to each character’s background and while I wasn’t the biggest fan of that, I still found this fun to read.

This is book two of the series. It reads well as a stand alone book. I enjoyed this book and will go back and read the first one! The Serpent Awakens is an awesome story about transformation and a personal journey to finding one’s true self. The story of Nico’s Kundalini awakening and self-discovery, is a deep archetypal arc of Nico’s struggle and path which leads to rich character development. Luna Saint Claire beautifully weaves the psychological, spiritual and emotional motivation of her characters! I thoroughly enjoyed this well written book!

I love all things military romance related, probably because I live that life. There is something about a man in uniform and the females that turn them inside out.

The seals are out just trying to have a good time, no strings attached. While Pippa is a woman trying to steer clear of her abusive ex-husband and forget the life she is trying to outrun though he is in prison. The two meet at a halloween party in costume and share an amazing night together. There is just one problem, that one night turns into a pregnancy and Pippa can’t even recall who the father might be. Tanner just happens to come back into her life a couple of years later at just the right time when Pippa is having issues with her ex husband who has just been released from prison. Can Tanner get Pippa out of the crosshairs of her ex? Is Pippa the one woman that can make Tanner give up his bachelor ways?

This is a fantastic book, a quick read, with more than enough action. I love how the author has brought local places to the area in the story. For those that have lived in the area will surely appreciate that. This book is action packed from page one. Definitely give this one a read, it’s amazing!

I’m not usually into sci-fi, but this book caught my attention. Dex sacrifices his well paid occupation in order to spend more time with his family. So he settles himself working at a car dealership where he’s not getting paid well at all. One end of his shift day at work he happens into a strange encounter that leads to unexpected as well and as unexplained occurrences. Hopefully another part comes out for this book cause I’m really looking forward to reading it.

Petty’s Crime is the third book in Satan’s Devils MC Las Vegas Series by Manda Mellett. I must confess that I wasn’t sure if I was going to enjoy this story, because I was certain that I didn’t like Petty in the beginning. But after reading a few of Ms. Mellett’s books, and knowing she has done this to me in the past, and won me over, I knew I just needed to trust her and keep reading-and wow, I am so glad that I did!
Ms. Mellett drew me into quite an intense and emotional story- my poor heart ached for what Petty had been through. I was so invested in him and the story- I couldn’t put it down, devouring every page just so I could discover what would happen. There was a lot of action, some gritty scenes, touching and tender moments, dramatic developments/revelations, sizzle, tension, sensitive topics, and plenty of raw emotion.
If you love a really well written, riveting MC story- with complex, quirky and loveable characters, and a captivating plot- then this is definitely the book for you. Be warned though, you may discover that one of Ms. Mellett’s addictive books may not be enough! Bring on Book #4….

The Kidnapping by Linda Burson is such a fun romantic suspense story that had my attention right from the beginning. It is wonderfully woven with humour, wit, mystery, drama, intrigue, agendas, secrets, and danger.
Jenna and Andy find themselves at opposite ends of a kidnapping plot, and this is where things go a little awry. Neither could have predicted how things would develop- and what ensues makes for a very entertaining read.
I have read many of Ms. Burson’s books now and have loved them all, so when I saw this pop up on my recommended book list, I didn’t hesitate to pick up a copy to explore.
As expected from Ms. Burson, this story is really well written- with just the right amount of tension and intrigue to get you turning the pages to find out what happens. The witty humour added an extra element fun into the story, making for a highly entertaining story.
Looking forward to seeing what Ms. Burson has planned next!

The Magical Summer of Miranda Stone is the first instalment in The Emergence Duology by A.D. Brazeau. This is a YA fantasy, with magical realism, self-discovery, music, fun, friendship, romance, drama, complication, challenges, humour, and quirky characters.
I thought it was a great ‘start’ to the story, but as this is a duology, the story is set to continue in book #2.
I was intrigued by the story and characters and thought the setting of New Orleans, the fact that our mc is a runaway 16 year-old, friendship, ‘found’ family, and self-discovery added an interesting element to the well thought out and woven storyline. I would have liked to have seen/explored more of the magical side of the plot…. but will wait to see what develops in Book #2.

I liked More Text Than Sex. It was written from quite a few points of view. Which can be confusing at times. At first I wasn’t sure how it would go, but it turned out well. A little shaky at first but the author’s idea got across not too far in. The idea kept me invested in these characters.
Working for a struggling music company Annie and Cat come up with a song contest idea. Discover new artists get their work out there that normally wouldn’t have the opportunity to. Well they didn’t expect owner Delaney to be onboard without a fight. Well he was full of surprises he was onboard but wanted Robbie, a marketing guy involved. Navigating life as well as this contest seems to put these characters through the ringer. One dealing with a baby daddy, one trying everything she can do to help those who’ve escaped abusive situations. Another being the brother he needs to be a special needs brother. That’s sometimes a lot for one book, but it worked.
All of them ended up in situations that could be devastating that caused them to lean on one another more than they expected.
What are the outcomes for each character?
How do they collectively get through the adversity?
When life changing events happen, what impact does that have?
So many questions and plenty of answers. This book gets better as it goes. I related to Robbie the most, having a special needs sibling of my own. This book has it all. Entertaining, some laughs, tons of drama, sexual tension, and plenty of passion. If that’s everything you are looking for, trust me on this, read it! You won’t regret it!

I would love to see a sequel happen with this one! The fact that the author used real details from the past and even with the Time Machine shows great dedication.

Have you ever wanted to time travel?? This book showed how a professor, Andy, and one of his students, Samoset, successfully travel back in time to change some of our history. What started out as them wanting to change the outcome of Columbus discovering San Salvador became a personal journey for Andy in re-connecting with his love.

It was full of excitement, especially if you like the westerns from the 1800s and full of heartbreak and love. Though I will say I was starting to really dislike Andy at one point, and that turned when he reached out to Pamela and asked her to join him. Crazy enough she actually believed him and did it!

The question Samoset asked Andy about what other event he would change, haven’t we all thought about that and what event we would change? Would it be the same as it was for Samoset and Andy?

Wow! This story blew me away right from the start and I wasn’t able to put it down until I had finished the entire book. I wasn’t sure what to expect when I started the book, but it definitely had so many elements placed in the story, but it didn’t feel overwhelming or rushed at all. I loved Sin and Rad’s relationship and how it progresses throughout the story. They both are willing to trust the other and we get to see the awesome things they accomplish when they work together. We have a steamy romance, nonstop action, intrigue, secrets, family drama, and fantasy all weaved together in a story that you won’t be able to put down! I love that this was book one and it did an amazing job of explaining the worlds and setting up future adventures for our characters. I am so excited to read the next book!

This is the first book I have read by Lane Cohen, and I have to say that I loved every minute of it! I thoroughly enjoy discovering a new author that can make you forget about the real world and take you on a wonderful journey.

Borrowed Time takes you on an adventure through time and has a sci-fi feel as it is related to the 1960’s The Time Machine. It is an interesting and relating read because I think everyone wonders what it would be like to time travel. The places you could see, the people you could meet, and the endless possibilities for changing your actions and your life! Will our characters’ dreams come true, or will they alter history forever?

I surely hope this is the start of a series, but even if it isn’t, I’ll be picking up more from this author. You’ll love to be swept away into this lovely time-traveling story.

This book was definitely one of the more interesting ones that I have read this year. Having read the first book, I was pretty excited for the second book and devoured it as soon as it hit my kindle. The characters were as brilliant as before, a brilliant and surreal word, an interesting plot, and so much more that I just simply couldn’t put it down. Our author did an amazing job of picking up where the previous story ended and there is definitely a third book coming. I for one can’t wait to see how this trilogy ends.

Have you ever wanted to travel back in time? If so, what would you want to see or do? I’d love to go back to the Bible times and see Jesus and his disciples. I would also love to go back to the time of Abraham Lincoln and meet his former love, Anne Rutledge (who is a family member!).

Andy Case is a physics professor and well, physics can be a bit boring at times. I personally enjoyed my physics classes and loved seeing this topic featured in this book. His students are losing interest but come up with an idea to create a time machine. Andy isn’t quite sure about this idea but, why not give it a try?

There are many accurately described historical events which makes this book intriguing and fun! I was a little surprised about some of the events that were not changed by the group, but then again, maybe they didn’t need to be. Changing on small little feature of an event can change an entire course of history!!

Finally, this book cover is beautiful! It’s very attractive to the eye and is one of the things that attracted me to this book.

A unique time traveling story. A very unique story that draws you in immediately, with relatable characters. Cohen builds great character development, making the characters all that more relatable. I love that it shows the different desires for the time machine, for one’s own personal past relationship and then other to rewrite history. I loved all the historical details and references. The two perspectives are fantastic!
This didn’t end on a cliffhanger, but did end in a way there could be a sequel, which I would most definitely read.

Finding Bryce is the first book in the Green Brotherhood: SEAL Team XII is a Military Romance that I read in one sitting. This is a fairly new author to me and one thing I noticed with this story is it jumped around and at times was a bit hard to follow and some parts felt a tad rushed but with that being said I still enjoyed the story. This is a story about Pippa and Diesel, she is working full time and taking classes He’s a Seal and these two meet at a costume party. She’s not really a dater but she decides to relax and have fun for once. Dressed as a fairy and him a gladiator they have their one night and neither one gets the others names. Fast forward a couple of years and she bow has a big secret. But when she finds herself in a situation will she be saved before its to late? I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. Im looking forward to the next book in this series.

I highly recommend reading Mis-Spelled! Evan suddenly gets transported to a different dimension filled with adventure and fairytale creatures. Evan must figure out how to survive in Stellaluna and figure out a way to get back home. I really enjoyed the magic system of Stellaluna. Every race has different magic and humans are able to learn them all thus becoming mages/ wizards. The book is well-written and uses puns to be funny, even the chapter names. Evan is consistently making jokes that the reader understands but the people of Stellaluna are left scratching their heads. The characters and relationships between them are believable. There is enough of a twist from the well-known stories to be interesting. Often times I had a hard time putting down the book and had to read a few pages of the next chapter before I could. The ending of the book is wrapped up nicely with no cliffhanger, but I still can’t wait to pick up the next book!

This book was a fantastic read, it had so much thrill, spice and all things nice!

Evelyn and Damien met in school she was tutoring him until her dad put a stop to it because he didn’t like Damien.

Years later Evelyn meets sees someone running past her house, she likes the eye candy and starts leaving treats out for him, until one day he comes knocking!

He is now in the FBI and he’s undercover working in the mafia, his role has even included killing and bullying property off people. He’s a mafia dons son so it’s crucial his cover is kept secret till he brings him down.

The heat of the relationship is too much for either of them too bare and they become lovers but Damien can’t get close he knows because the secret he keeps he keeps pushing her away so she stays safe will keep it be kept quiet or will the truth come out?

This is the first book I’ve read by the author. Borrowed Time is a great read. If you like the movie The Time Machine then you’ll love this book. The author takes the knowledge of the movie and does great with it.

Andy Case is a professor at a college. His class seems to be getting bored so he throws in Einstein and time travel. When one of his students comes to him with an idea he starts thinking it may be able to work. Can they get it to work or will it fail? The quote I chose for Andy is: “Theoretically, should a working mechanism be devised, the necessary force to power it would likely be plutonian in nature, at the very least.”

Highly recommended for Sci-Fi Western lovers

I really enjoyed this story. It was a fun mixture of magic entering the real world and how it affects people. The author does an amazing job with the characters and really brings them and magic to life.The author does a good job with the story itself and the likely to the going ons around the Salem witch trials was a really nice touch mixing history with fantasy.

I love Miranda’s character. All she wants is to be a typical teenager but that all changes when women start to find they have magical powers. At first she is scared and unsure but it’s nice to see her character grow and become more of a confident person as the story progresses.
I love how the story slowly unravels. The author keeps us guessing and wondering what will happen which keeps me gripped to a story. I can’t wait to see what happens next

Wow every book this author releases is amazing. I honestly can’t get enough of them and I always get excited when I see there is a new story. As with the other books this one focuses on a member of the Satan Devil’s MC club. Every member of the club has a back story and I love how the author can take them from being just a name to bringing them alive and telling their story.

In this book we learn more about Petty. We are given the full story of Petty’s life, and how he become part of the MC club.
As always there is a romantic element as with the other books but this one was definatly a surprise when it came in the form of RoseLyn.
When Petty is assigned to be a bodyguard to RoseLyn to protect her from her ex boyfriend their relationship isn’t what you would call romantic. They practically hate each other and can’t stand to be near each other. But over the course of the book we see this change and RoseLyn proves to be exactly the woman that Petty needs.
But things aren’t that smooth sailing. With RoseLyn’s ex threatening her life and Petty’s estranged wife returning this couple have a lot to overcome and work through.

This is definately one ride you do not want to miss. I can’t wait for the next book

I enjoyed reading this horror story. It is full of twists and turns that had me sitting on the edge of my seat. The suspense is like no other. This is a well written story about a little girl who has an imaginary friend and no one believes her when bad things start happening. You don’t want to miss what happens with Missy and her horrifying imaginary friend. I enjoyed how I was pulled into the story by the author’s use of details to make me feel as if I was part of the story. This is a shorter story but it packs a lot of action and horror in it. I enjoyed the growth of the plot and what Missy and her friend brought to the story. I highly recommend this book.

I enjoyed reading this book. This is the second book in this series which is just as great as the first. This is a well written story where Thomas and April set out together as another adventure. I enjoyed how the author used details to bring life to the story. It made the story realistic. The characters are connectable and made the story for me. This is an adventure that they soon won’t forget and certainly didn’t expect what would happen. There is great growth throughout the story of the plot. This is a fast paced, entertaining story that kept me turning pages. I highly recommend this book.

I really like AD’s work as you never know what you she will come up with next and when I saw this book, I jumped at the chance to get started.
