This is a great contemporary romance set in a small town. Although part of a series, each book in the series can be read as a standalone. I hadn’t read any of the other books and didn’t feel that I was missing any necessary information. I am intrigued by the other couples who are part of this book and would like to read more of them as each couple adds something to the dynamic of the group.
In this book we get the story of small-town Mayor Eric and his secret romance with pop superstar Kiki. I adored both of these characters and I loved reading their story. It takes you on a roller coaster journey, taking you through every emotion possible and I can say that I really loved the ride.
I do say that one mark of a great character writer for me is how much you dislike the bad guy in a book and I can safely say that I really really hated Louie. What a horrible, despicable man.
This is a really great story, which flows well and keeps you entertained and wanting to keep turning the pages. Definitely recommend.

I really enjoyed this one, the narration is done extremely well. Liked the concept of this story and was pulled in right away. Kept me guessing. Great beginning to a new series.

Yes! I love the idea of Elle’s mother running to give up her life for her daughters, for her ‘Aunt’ Sara for doing everything she could to raise her to be her own person and to protect her from the truths until she knew it’d be time for L to take that next step to becoming who she needed to become (whether this was known or not.) The novel itself is a well written adventure, I love when tales are told from different narratives, and how it moves at just the right speed as to keep the reader immersed in its pages.

Strong female lead, strong supporting characters, romance and suspense all woven into this adventure and I certainly made sure I took the time to focus and really focus on the story. I feel like all of us have a certain ‘ I don’t belong here’ aspect to our lives, and how L feels, i felt very much akin to. I very much enjoyed the descriptive nature of the worlds, and the adventure that unfolds. If you’re looking for a lovely quick read, but not too quick, I would recommend giving this a go. I know I will be looking for more by this author soon!

I love the books by this author. The stories are always so beautifully written and the characters and their story always captivate me. And this books was exactly the same.

This books is a story about second chance love and all the challenges that come with it.

Kate is our leading lady. She is a strong independent woman who knows what she wants. So when the chance at the job or her dream comes up she gives up everything to take this job. By everything I mean family, friends, the love of her life and the place she calls home. However the reality isn’t always as good as the dream and when she finds herself returning home she feels like she could have been missing out all along and everything she wanted could have been right in front of her.

When she bumps into her old love Chase the feelings for Kate resurface all over again but Chase isn’t the boy she left behind. He has changed and has never gotten over the rejection from Kate all those years ago.
Another person who throws themselves into his work Chase doesn’t have time to relationships and with the added pressure of taking care of his nephew, women as the last thing on his mind. Well all but one woman.

When they meet again at a wedding the chemistry is still there, but can they make their lives work to see what could be or will life and challenges stop them from once again being together. Does love work any better the second time around or is it destined to just repeat the past and end in heartbreak?

When it comes to novels about entertainers, such as a “pop star”, I am all in! This book was the absolute best drama-filled, entertaining love story ever. The artist did a phenomenal job with character descriptions and building up a plot, especially since this book isn’t the first in a series. After reading this one, I want to read them all now! Who would have thought an adorable novel about a mayor and a pop star would be so dramatic and interesting and they would connect!!!! Plus, it was written in a fashion that it is relatable on several levels!

This is my first book by the author and I am a new reader of time-travel/alternate universe. This book kept me engaged and eager to keep reading. I enjoyed the growth of all of the characters as well as the progression of the plot.

Morrow uses the term “latter” quite a few times which sounded awkward after a while, but nothing to make this read not a 5-star. I enjoyed the story and its characters.
If you are looking for an exciting, celestial, love story that is like Romeo and Juliet, look no further. Give Watcher a try.

Roxanne cat turn the offer down and so starts a journey that has me in tears more often than not. Roxanne is riddled with guilt and my heart breaks for her with the “visits” she gets from Derek and Aiden and my heart really did feel like Humpty Dumpty 💔

This is one of those reads that haunts you long after you’ve read the last page ❣️📕

A wonderfully written read full of heart! That is how I would describe this story of Paige and Mark. Paige is totally captivated by Marks paintings and upon meeting him the man himself as well. She has been hurt badly by a previous relationship where she was involved with a client so to say she is reluctant to have anything other than a professional relationship with Mark would be a huge understatement. The attraction and connection they have to each other is so strong it truly can not be denied. Can Paige see past her broken heart and dissolve the defences she built to protect herself, to fight for a chance at a future they have both only dreamed of? Well that is the big question isn’t it! do yourself a favour and grab a copy of this book you won’t be disappointed!!

Holy cow! After reading this book I am totally switching my diet to a vegan and non-GMO. It is so scary how genes work, and the how transfer of disease and sickness can move through the feed in cattle and affect a human being! Just WOW! What a great story that captured my attention from the very first chapter. There are a multitude of well written characters that we can’t help but empathize with and root for the normal human beings to survive in this book. The mutated humans or “genies” as the author has chosen to call them are a scary bunch and the new abilities that they have gained is incredible. While I understand that this is a work of fiction, the author has done due diligence in providing many facts along the way to support the story and make it truly believable and thought provoking. Not only is the food contaminated but so is the land. How do we recover from such a huge tragedy that takes out 95% of the world population? Such a well written book to make one think not only about our food supply but what our government and its agencies can do to our food supply. This book is a real eye-opener into the scope of power we give to those in authority and government and what we need to do to protect ourselves and our loved ones. This book is a must read for anyone who thinks our government has our best interests in mind and follow along like sheeple. Please do yourself a favor, read the book, do your own research, and be aware of what could possibly happen soon. Get to know your neighbor and the organic local farmers. They will be your best tool for surviving the GMO crap storm that is lurking in the future.

This book was so sweet and I enjoyed everything about it! It was actually the first in the series I’ve read but now I’m definitely going back to read the rest. Kiki and Eric were wonderful characters. I loved going on their journey with them, even over the road bumps. I just love a small town romance and this one hit it out of the park. Highly recommend!

Dudes in fast cars – LOVE it! Add in paranormal and magic and I’m in heaven! I haven’t read anything by this author before but actually quite enjoyed this book. It’s marked as book 3.5 in the series; and whilst it’s a stand alone read, I think character wise I would have benefited from reading the previous books. It was still enjoyable though…..

This is definitely not a book I would normally read but I really enjoyed it. The author did leave a cliff hangar at the end of the book.

A Quirk of Destiny is book one in the Apocalyptic Trilogy and is a Sci-Fi Thriller Dystopian story that definitely will have you thinking about things long after you’ve finished. This is a bit out of my normal genre but I truly enjoyed reading it and I like this authors style of writing along with characters that brought the story to life. I had a hard time putting it down. This will make you think twice before buying certain things . Im gonna tell you this makes our worlds current situations more terrifying than they already are. It definitely gives you lots to think about. Im not going to give anything away but I do highly recommend reading this book and I look forward to reading the next book in this Trilogy.

The author has based the book on a foundation of true-science which is scary enough in itself, let alone woven through with the global conspiracies and epidemic. My heart raced and my mind was blown by the possibilities. A strong start to what looks to be a thrilling trilogy. Highly recommend.

I’m not a massive historical romance reader but was looking for something different. I really loved this book! Set in the 15th century T L Clark did an awesome job of setting a lifelike reality for that century. You could see the effort that had been put into the researching the accuracy of the writing for both the landscape, characters and even the way they talked.

This is the first book I have read by this author and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Its the first book in the Love Through the Ages series but it was definitely a stand alone read.

Highly recommend!

When I started reading this book, it caught me off guard thinking how realistic it was. I know many people that have been sucked in by MLM pyramid schemes and I cannot count the number of times I have been asked to host parties by acquaintances on social media. The author further delves into these types of businesses and very succinctly describes the people involved. The book gives a great sense of everyday life with the suspense of a murder mystery. It feels like it could be the story of people you know.

The thing that I think is most important about this book is that the author includes marginalized people and very astutely presents flawed characters. No one character is all bad or all good – as Elizabeth points out many times. There is a significant portion of the book dedicated to bullying at all levels/ages and there are characters who call out the bullies regardless of the tense situations doing so can lead to.

There is great messaging wrapped up in the package of solving a mystery, and I did not foresee the resolution! Good story, better characters!!

I love the research that went into the writing of this book. This helped bring the characters alive and the events plausible to real life. Some chapters are written from a different character view point, or continues the same viewpoint. This gives refreshing insight into what propels the story forward.
I liked the idea of the therapy dog helping the main character through her trauma and the FBI having a victim’s unit. The apple airtags was something my daughter told me about when she bought some to use. Thank you to the author for adding a section to let the reader know what was fiction and what was fact.
There is plenty of suspense to keep the pages turning. I enjoyed the book and will go back and read others in the series!
