Although irresistible Bond is the Fifth book of the Central Florida stories It can be read as a Stand alone but if you’re like me you like to indulge in the author’s world for as long as possible and enjoy reading about the other characters from said world. Believe me I will definitely be going back to read the previous 4 books. This is my first time picking up a book by author Victoria Saccenti and this book has 100% piqued my interest. It’s a fast mfm read that follows Storm, Marcus and Barrington’s relationship. The chemistry in this book between the three of them was almost tangible how good it was. The author did a great job writing the passion between them and their BDSMish scenes. Like I said I will definitely be going back to read more of this world 🥰

As always the author does a great job of transporting you back to the 1930’s and really making you feel like you are right there in the midst of the story with her vivid descriptions and well written story telling. Sparky is back, stirring up trouble as she works to prove her boss isn’t a murderer, all while trying to juggle, school, her guardian’s potential career revival, as well as having to volunteer with cop Mug and Detective Bernie. I am still loving that the station has a police bunny, just cracks me up. As always Sparky keeps finding herself in all sorts of mischief and trouble as she sleuths her way through the murder investigation. There are definitely plenty of twists and turns, as well as humor, in this cozy noir historical mystery. Looking forward to seeing more Sparky mysteries!

Broadstone is a first time author for me and I am hooked! Puzzleman is horrifically original, macabre, and full of so many twists, turns, and a crazy interconnectedness. Broadstone weaves such an intricately detailed story and delivers it in such a way that the reader can smell the pipe world, feel the heat of the puzzleman’s breath, and see the nauseating, deformed “bodies” of the grumemonsters. The characters are realistically flawed and believable. This book combines history, mythology, horror, mystery, and gore. There were a few places where the writing seemed a bit disjointed, but it did not detract from the story one bit. Overall, an amazing horror read by a great author. I can’t wait to read more from Mr. Broadstone.

After getting to read book one, I was thrilled to be able to check out book 2 and continue to see how the story unfolds. The author continues to create an amazing story with non-stop action and continues to draw you into the story. It was great getting to see where all of the different characters are and to see the continued character development for them. Dusk is struggling with how he perceives Amy betraying him, while Amy is starting to see how she and Opal have some similar qualities. The conflicts, drama, suspense, magic, shifters, and gemstones to name a few, kept me enthralled. The author continues to paint a vivid picture that makes you feel like you are really in the story. I love that the author took a classic story and has put such a creative twist to it! I am looking forward to seeing what comes next.
I have read a few books from this author and her books always exceed my expectations. This is the second book from the addictive series of Clumsy Little Hearts. This could be read as a stand alone but there are previous characters in this story as well. I was so excited to read this book. I could not put it down until the end. I can’t wait to see what she will write next.
Rachel Prescott has the worst luck in men. She always gets attached to them and then they leave. Rachel thought she had the right guy finally but all of sudden he leaves her as well. She meets a nice owner of a popular restaurant but she is very cautious of him. Rachel begins to have very strong feelings for Miuel but she is not ready to get her heart broken once again. Will Rachel finally get her happy ending or will the past ruin it all?

This book was so much fun to read. It had a little bit of everything I wanted in a good story. This book has mystery, action, danger, mafia, steamy moments, love, loyalty, family, great characters and more. I enjoy this author’s style of writing. I got sucked into the story from the beginning and I was kept entertained throughout. I had a hard time putting this down while I was reading because I needed to know what was going to happen next. The chemistry between Derek and Justine could be felt jumping off the pages but both of them like to keep people at arms length. Justine’s past has a lot to do with how she interacts now. Derek is always trying to protect the people he cares about. If you want to know what happens between these two then this is a must read. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series. I highly recommend this book.
Rockstar Energy Drink book! I just loved this story and all the feels that it brought to light for me. This is a page turner, with great characters throughout. The Fallen Man: A Heartwarming Holiday Romance Set in the 1990s (The Olympic Peninsula series Book 5)
This is the fifth and final book in this series and I think Ms. Treadgold did a good job wrapping everything up with all of the O’Connell family.
Edward the enigma of the family is home. After devoting most of his adult life to God and the church he leaves and comes home to his family. Never one to be too close with his siblings he tries to build those relationships and learn how to live in a secular world.
Lisette the owner of a cafe and the place Edward finds himself spending time. She has a past but not what everyone thought at first.
It was nice to follow this family through several years. A Second Generation wouldn’t be a bad idea.

Salt Love is a perfect summer romantic comedy that leaves you with a smile on your face!
Kenna’s life has definitely taken a turn for the worse. She discovers her husband is cheating with a co-worker who has now stolen her chance at a promotion. A call from the other side of the country changes her life. Her aunt has left her an inheritance. When she arrives in Florida from California, she discovers that Aunt Maeve has left her a home, a boating club, and a catch. She has to remain in Florida for a year and share ownership with her grumpy and sexy next-door neighbor, Dec.
As she spends more time in Sunshine Key, she realizes Dec is a sweet guy underneath that grumpy exterior. I enjoyed their friendship and the electric chemistry running underneath the surface. As the two grow closer, they must learn to trust each other. Dec hides a secret that could ruin any chance of the relationship he has been searching for.
Can I just say I love Kenna? She is the woman you want as your best friend. The longer she stays in Sunshine Key, the more she begins to discover the strong woman she once was. She also gets to know the aunt she never got the chance to know before she died and mends the fractured relationship with her mother.
There was a delightful cast of secondary characters, especially Dec’s father. The relationship between the two was so sweet. In addition, Aunt Maeve is a central character in the book, and the book is centered around her in a sense. She was like a fairy godmother to Kenna, rescuing her from an unhappy life and giving her a chance at the happiness she deserves. I always love a book in which a character who isn’t physically in the book directly impacts the story and the main characters.
I loved Ray’s descriptive writing. I could picture Sunshine Key clearly in my mind. I could smell the salt and feel the sand and sun on my skin!
Salt Love was a perfect summer read. It has just the right combination of humor, spice, and and sweetness and left me with a smile on my face. I highly recommend this book about self-discovery, second chances, and finding your happily ever after!

Although it was a quick listen, Love Rinkside was a laugh out loud funny, well written, hockey romance. Although the guy plays hockey and it’s important to him it wasn’t the center point of the novel. The first chapter had me laughing out loud. I loved the relationship between the MMC and the FMC, and it started out pretty intense for them both. I think both voices were a perfect fit for the characters and really brought them to life! I am definitely interested in reading/listening to more of the novels in this series.

George had fallen in love with Merilee. Ashley’s Guardian Angel, Zuriel, was furious because he now had to work with Merilee and Fannetta to keep Ashley safe from her stepmother and help George be open to love again. Merilee and Zuriel are not happy about working together.
George’s new roommate, Hunter, was desperate to get George out of his depression. Now at the University of California, George still wasn’t over, not knowing why Laura was just gone. After convincing him to attend a party, George spiraled further into depression by drinking every day and missing his classes for two weeks. Hunter warned him that he was on academic probation and was risking his dream of being a veterinarian. Hunter convinced him to talk to a counselor. Meadow was going to help him move forward with life.
Lily was staying at an Airbnb and worried she was going to fail with her plans. Her mother had wanted her to stay nearby and go to medical school. However, Lily didn’t want to be a doctor for people. She wanted to work with animals and decided to leave Washington to take the veterinary program at UCLA. While at Target, Ashley overhears Lily talking to the cashier. She offers Lily a room in her house.
During Ashley and Harry’s first anniversary, George meets Lily. They had so many things in common and agreed to meet at a coffee house for a date. The date goes well and extends all day. At the end of the date, they kiss passionately. Suddenly, George stops the kiss and tells her he has to leave and can’t see her again. Lily is hurt.
Red is full of suspense that is filled with tension on every page. Merilee and Zuriel seem to have a love-hate relationship that grows the longer they try to intervene in George’s downward spiral and refusal to admit his feelings for Lily. The emotional turmoil is easy to understand. There are some darker themes; however, the romance is appropriate for high school-age readers. This is a five star novel capable of being a standalone, despite being the second in the series.

Raccoon Reunion was the bedtime book of choice and I will admit, it did not disappoint. It was the perfect length for bedtime routine. My daughter’s favorite part of the book was when the raccoons enjoyed a game of Marco Polo as she enjoyed reading “Marco, Polo, Polo” she explained to me. I thought the story and illustrations were really cute. I am someone that makes plans or dreads social settings only to realize it was exactly what I needed… I think that Rocky learned this as well. Raccoon Reunion was a really fun children’s book.

I overall enjoyed the book. Still confused about the timeline of the story and Anne’s reaction to something that happened.
Declan is an insufferable Alpha in every way but under that armor he wears is a guy with a huge heart and loves fiercely when it happens.
Anne has had her heart broken more times than most people could handle and I think those are what caused her to react the way she did to some of the situations.
Looking forward to see what Ms. Akinosho has in store for us.

This Time Around is a story about returning to your past and the potential to make changes. Josie is a 47-year-old woman, a mother, a business owner, and in the process of divorce. She is relatable as she deals with all the challenges life brings her way. After she has a panic attack, she awakens in her teenage bedroom, about to start her senior year of high school. Is this a time to change the “what ifs” or to repeat the past? Josie’s character draws you into her adult and teen life because she is realistic and understandable. Most of us have those experiences in high school that we know we could have handled differently now that we have the insight of living in the adult world. She handles everything carefully, trying not to give herself away to her friends and classmates that she is 47 in a teen’s body. With the opportunity to make changes in her past, does Josie change her future? If you enjoy a bit of time traveling with women’s fiction, this is a great read that explores the “what ifs” of life. I look forward to reading more from this author in the future.

So sweet, I guess these are now called meet cute romances. Oh, so adorable that I felt a cavity form. I loved these two together. An adventure that brought them together for a sweet romance. The chemistry was fun and playful. I found myself giggling out loud. My grandson kept asking what’s funny. I can’t tell a 10 yr old boy why I’m laughing at a romance. It’s a quick read that’s very entertaining. Great writing and wonderful characters.

What a cute book! I the MC. He’s out to solve 3 mysteries. It’s a quick chapter read suited for mid-age children. It was a giggle fest when I read it with my grandson. We were eager to see what came next. We would love to see more.
An engaging modern take on the ‘Little Red Riding Hood’ story. Lily is happy to head off to college, leaving the confines of her over-protective mum’s house. George is a handsome college student, nursing a broken heart and unable to move on from Laura. Sparks fly when these two meet, but will George ever be able to stop pining for his lost love in time to see Lily as his soulmate? Add in a couple of fairy godmothers-in-training and an arrogant, annoying Guardian angel, trying to fix the mess that they made in the first book, whilst keeping everyone safe from a vengeful person from George’s past. This book continues straight on from the first book in the series, Ashes, and whilst it is a stand-alone book, the background of the characters’ situations from Ashes would help to understand where they are today.

This is my first audio book by this author which I enjoyed reading. It is an engaging story where the narrator brought the story to life with the different tones of voice. I enjoyed how the characters made me want to know more. This is a story about Drew and Katie . They are great characters. They have one night of fun that gets cut short by a dog attack. Now Drew wants a second chance to make it up to Katie. This is an easy story to listen to. I enjoyed this one and I look forward to listening to more from this author. This was a fast-paced, action-packed drama. I found it pretty exciting. The characters were quite unique in their roles in the story. I found them to be quite diverse. The air of fantasy and paranormal made for a story that I couldn’t put down. I really enjoyed the writing and recommend it for fans of this genre.
I enjoyed reading this romance story. This is a newer author for me which I enjoy their writing style as well as their creative characters that are written with a lot of heart. I enjoyed the author’s use of details to bring the characters to life as well. This is a shorter story but it sure packs a punch in the romance department. It is a well written story where the characters pull you into their world from the start. Drew and Katie are great characters. They have one night of fun that gets cut short by a dog attack. Finding Love is the second book in the Clumsy Little Hearts series by Julie Navickas. This is a nice romance story and was an easy read, I have not read the first book yet and this did not take away from the enjoyment of the book. The story follows Real Estate Agent Rachel, who is recently single after her boyfriend breaks up with her, and restaurant owner Miguel, who is struggling to make his vision of his new business a reality. When the two have a chance meeting at Miguel’s restaurant, the sparks fly, and the romance blossoms between them. However, there are aspects of both of their pasts that are getting in the way and might mean that they struggle to get their happy ever after. I liked this book, I found the characters to be endearing and I enjoyed the dynamic between Rachel and her siblings. This book hinted at what was going to happen in the next installment and I am looking forward to seeing how Rose’s story plays out. I would recommend this book to readers who enjoy a nice romance.

I will read more to find out if this is the case.<br />An intriguing read where we meet Storm and her 2 best friends cousins Marcus and Barrington, as children they sent lots of time together as adulthood arrives, the cousins are expected to do their family duty, marry and produce heirs to continue the family line and look after their money, Storm does not fit into the family, from the view of the older family members. But the cousins have other ideas. This is thrown sideways when Storm is taken hostage whilst on a DEA job.<br />Can the cousins get their girl back to how she was before, can they secure her heart, can she cope with the type of relationship they need. <br />Family, stalking, PTSD, MFM, DsD dynamic relationship. <br />A hot and steamy edge to a book that touches on the slightly darker side of human nature. <br /> <br/><br/> <a href=”https://www.goodreads.com/review/list/34425105-tracy”>View all my reviews</a>

This book is excellent! It is set in one of my favorite eras. The author told the story from three different viewpoints. I enjoyed reading about the formation of the colonial navy. It’s an often overlooked topic. I enjoyed how the author developed the main character throughout the book. I look forward to reading more installments in this series!

This is book 5 in the Central Florida Stories. These books are very good reads with just amount of danger, steamy romance and twists and turns that keep you gripped from beginning to end. There is an element of BDSM and the Dom/Sub relationship in this book as well which adds an extra element to the story. Storm, Marcus and Barrington were friends all their life and their bond grew stronger with both men developing feelings for her..however their families harsh words put an end to any hopes they had of exploring things together further as Storm runs away to her dream job. However the dream wasn’t exactly what she expected and when a mission to take down a Columbian Drug Lord goes wrong Storm is left with more than just physical scars. When Marcus and Barrington find out she has returned they now what to claim her as their sub and finally protect her from any harm and danger. But when the past returns and threatens to drag Storm back into the life she has before will Marcus and Barrington be able to protect her. This is a second chance romance where the happily ever after isn’t smooth sailing and the 3 of them have a load of obstacles to overcome if they want to be together. This book is definately another page turner in the great series.

While this is the fourth book in a series, it also can be read as a standalone. For fans of the Percy Jackson books, this one is similar and you’ll find yourself drawn into it and enjoying the storyline like I did. I’ll definitely be reading the other books in this series. It’s a great YA read for middle schoolers. Tally and her dad are vacationing in Greece. Tally makes a couple new friends and has an interesting adventure. There were some surprising twists I never thought to imagine! Definitely recommend this book.
