The author of this story is new to me, but is added to my Must Read list. His story is not only blood chilling, he will call on all of your feels. The characters are well planned and fit their roles. This is one rollercoaster I did not want to get off of. I look forward to reading more thrillers and suspense in the books to follow.

This book is such an easy read. It will immediately suck you in. I read this book in 2 days, I literally could not put it down. I want to be best friend’s with Elizabeth, everyone needs someone like her in your life. Seriously. Lila makes you seriously think and question so many things through out the entire book. I actually cried at the end because its sad, and happy. I definitely am going to re read this, because you think the killer is a few different people, but at the end everything makes complete sense of who the killer is! Kyle, you definitely want to be friends with, and you root for his and Lila’s relationship. I cannot wait for the 3rd book! such a wonderful series.

Admittedly this is the first book by this author that I read, and yes it is the 3rd book in this series. However, I was instantly drawn to the story and could not put this book down! It encompassed me from the very first chapter. It has grit. It has passion and spice. It was enthralling and a remarkable read. Just when Johnathan Cage thought he didn’t need any one person in his life, BAM, she appears. Just when she thought she was content with her life, BAM, he appears. The stories leaves them inseparable from the very beginning. If you love page turning, spicy books then this is definitely a go-to!

This was a difficult book for me to finish. I love a lot of this authors work but this wasn’t one of them. I think the concept of very different and I haven’t seen anything like it. I just wish there was more to it. The character were lacking and missing a connection to them. I think this story had so much potential that just wasn’t met for me. Finding Melodie was a sweet & sad story. Melodie helped Issac propose to his girlfriend. Who actually turned him down. This story was about Melody deciding she was going to help Issac get her back. But at what cost to her? She’s falling for someone she can’t have. Repeating the same cycle in her life. The question is what does Issac want? The Wedding reminded me so much of the movie Monster In Law, which I do love! It’s time to meet the parents and get to know them better! Or so Melodie thought. Instead she got an overprotective future mother in law to boot. Cynthia, Issac’s mom, took one look at Melodie and was like “nope not my son.” She made it her mission to prove to Melodie that her relationship was wrong. That she didn’t belong. It’s the way she went about it, as well as finding out she had a mother in law that detested her, at which I come to the movie comparison. It’s a cute romantic boxset with some entertainment to boot. Definitely worth the read!

4/5 stars This was my first book by this author and I was not disappointed! This story made me root for Angie and admire her ability to stand up for herself despite the pain it may cause. Although I wanted her and Blade back together, I was glad she didn’t just give in the first moment she say him as her new boss. There’s also some funny parts that made me laugh out loud. This book showcases an abundance of entertainment that will have you turning the page until you finish it!

While I was hoping that Book Two would follow more with Tessa and Locke and how things unfolded with the trafficking ring, I was pleasantly surprised to read this one. The author does continue with the MFM romance trope, which again for all the bi people (Including myself), is just giving everything I’ve ever needed. Once again, a quick and easy read. I had trouble sleeping this morning so I was up at 5:30 and decided to get some reading done off my TBR, and I could follow everything pretty well for being half awake. This book is definitely full of spice and smut, and for all the bisexuals out there, fan-freaking-tastic. The M/F/M threesome trope is for sure something not seen in a lot of mainstream books, and it was for sure interesting to see here. I really enjoyed this book, it was a super quick read with shorter chapters, and I’m excited to see where the other one goes.

I enjoyed the premise of Cupid’s bet against fellow Gods that his job is in fact tougher than theirs. It was an easy read and I read it quickly. I thought the human characters were cute and spot on. I look forward to reading the other books in this series. Cupid is a lot different than I imagined him to be but it makes his character more interesting. I recommend this book to anyone looking for a lighthearted read.

I really enjoyed this young adult fantasy adventure. The author did an amazing job of building the scenes and making the story gripping and fast paced. The characters are really well written and work well together. This is a story full of mystery and betrayal. There is a constant figure for survival and trying to avoid the people who want to harm you. You don’t know who to trust. The part I enjoyed was when the young girl Linh and Ruarnon even though they are from completely different places they now have to work together if they are to succeed and for Linh to return home. It was a really enjoyable.story and I can’t wait to see how it will progress

Zenni is a florist that wants to save her family history in a slave run plantation in her hometown of Everwood and Colton is the millionaire hell bent on tearing it down to build townhomes. Zenni wants the he plantation preserved to keep the history of Everwood County and her ancestors and Colton wants to develop the small town and erase that what Everwood plantation represents with its slave history. The story was a easy read but in my opinion didn’t give much character development and moved very quickly. If you are looking for a quick, fun and easy read the is good for that. If you want something with character and story line depth, this would not be it.

I have read quite a few books written by Ms. Mellett and her writing just gets better with each book. I love how thorough she is with her descriptions if it’s of the club house and compound or just the people in general. The characters are strong willed with little quirks that makes them feel real. The plot was great and different which is good. We have seen Marvel around in other books… At 55 years old Marvel becomes a member of the Satan’s Devils MC to escape his past. He vowed to never fall in love again after he learned woman can’t be trusted. And that’s a vow he took to heart until he meets Virginia. Virginia has been through hell the last few years so what’s being stuck in a small room with a stranger while the bank was being robbed. She doesn’t know if she can trust Marvel especially after she was traumatized by the man she loved. While hanging in the room they talk and get to know each other and they are both surprised with how much they have in common. Can these two overcome their past? Will Marvel be able to save Virginia? Can they mend their hearts and make them whole? Will Virginia speak up for herself or go back too being a recluse?

Sashimi is the second book in the Evil Sushi series by the very talented C.A King. I loved the first book, Evil Sushi, so much- it was such a fun read, so I was thrilled to find this had arrived on my Kindle. I did have high expectations, because the first book was so entertaining- and Ms. King didn’t let me down, delivering a worthy second instalment. I am excited to find that there will be a third book in the series, can’t wait to get my hands on ‘Wasabi’ (Book #3). As with the first book, this has such an original and clever story, really unlike anything I have read before. It has elements of paranormal, sci-fi, horror, dystopia, action, adventure, thriller, mystery, and suspense. With environmental and political issues and agendas, discoveries, danger, good vs evil, small town setting, conspiracies, secrets, hidden agendas, ‘monsters’, and all the intrigue and dramatic developments that you would need to keep you hooked right till the very end. Sashimi follows on from where we left off in book one- so if you haven’t read the first book yet, I highly recommend that you do so before diving into this book as there are important details there along with a continuing storyline- so you will need to know what happened in book one to fully appreciate and understand what’s happening in this instalment. As expected from Ms. King, this was a really imaginative, wonderfully detailed, and well written story that wouldn’t let me put it down until I had devoured every word. I am excitedly anticipating the release of Book #3, Wasabi, so I can continue the story and find out how it all plays out in the end! Definitely worth the read!

While erotic romance is typically my go to when I read, this book was a far cry from what I usually read. Surprisingly I really enjoyed this one, the author sucks you in quickly and there is no lull in action (in or out of the octagon). I would gladly read more from her in the future, I may even pick up the first two books in this series.

If you are a YA fantasy reader, then please try this book. It did take me a minute to get into it due to trying to get the timeline right. Ruarnon is a nonbinary and I love how it was portrayed in the book. Their kingdom gives them a hard time, but they work on it through every step. Right now, they have to work on a kingdom to be theirs while trying to save their lives as well. Through all the paths, it was a great book.

Hush, My Darling (Benoit and Dayne Mystery Book 2) by Winter Austin. This author is fast becoming my very favorite author. I loved the first book and this book was even better. I do recommend reading the first book because this one picks right up where book 1 left off. Its the story of Deputy Lila Dayne who has moved to rural Iowa to be a Deputy. She is moving from Chicago where as a police officer she was almost killed by the I-80 serial killer. Sheriff Elizabeth Benoit swears that Lila will have no trouble in the sleepy town in Eckardt County. What Lila and Elizabeth don’t know is the killer has followed Lila to this little town and is about to start creating havoc. When Lila realizes her greatest fear is back she shuts down and pushes everyone out that can help her. Will Elizabeth and the other deputies be able to pull Lila back in to catch the killer before he takes his next victim and finish what he started with Lila. Read this amazing fast paced series! You won’t regret it!

I’m a sucker for a long and detailed novel that pulls me in from the start, and this is that! Manda catches all of our attention from chapter one and keeps us begging for more as we get to know these two characters. Marvel is certainly older than most characters in this genre, but that doesn’t mean he lacks in sex appeal or intrigue. Both of these characters have tragic pasts that may seem impossible to move past, but I loved watching them battle their demons. Be prepared for unexpected twists, which this author is well known and loved for. I waited so long for this book, and I wasn’t disappointed. Must read!

After reading the previous books in this series I was ready to dive in. A book that has steamy hot romance, a little crime, some suspense and action there is nothing to dislike about this book. You can read Throttle’s story by itself but I highly recommend reading the other first as you get background information and love the characters a little more! Amy’s Santa had me wanting more and loving the story I read all at the same time. The book rotates perspectives and truly pulls you in and makes each character feel like family. As we read we age with the characters and we are able to feel like we are there inside the compound rooting for the happy ending. Amy is kind and caring and has a heart of gold to know that something isn’t right has you wanting to jump parts of the book to find out what happened. Drew, Wiz is the man we all know he can be. Is he able to repair damage that was done in more ways than one?

Saving Marvel (Satan’s Devils MC Second Generation Book 4)
I couldn’t get enough of this book. Though it’s a 2nd generation book it’s about one of the “old timers” who hung out in the background mostly until now.
Marvel was always just there but with his comments about the old ladies when one of his brothers fell hinted at a story and what a story he had to tell.
Virginia had a story that most people couldn’t even imagine. The pieces she was left to pick up because of her Ex was more than most people could have handled. She tried to put it behind her but others would not allow that to happen.
I loved the main characters in this. Most books in this genre are my kids age, it was nice to find a book about people close to my age getting their second chance with love.
Another great book in this amazing series. I find it amazing that this author has been able to write these amazing books one after another. Can’t wait to see who is next.

I knew from the first chapter of this book that I was going to be hooked on this installment of the second gen books. Sometimes it takes a few chapters to really get committed, but that certainly wasn’t the case here. Manda lured us in again with this one and played at our heartstrings. It was hard reading the mental and emotional demons that Hawk was battling in this story, but also refreshing to hear the perspective of this male character working through the tribulations that life threw at him. Perfect next installment!

This book is one of the best suspense thrillers that I have read this year! While I have not read the first installment in this series I will be going back to do so. This is also a brand new author to me but the way that she describes her characters, and the details that she puts into her story line are just simply amazing. But this suspenseful thriller was full of drama, suspense, and not only kept me guessing until the end but also gave me chills through the whole story. So if you haven’t picked up this series yet, then definitely pick it up today!

This book was awesome. Watching the interplay of the military dealing with this kind of apocalyptic disaster was uniquely original, especially adding in the element of essentially mer-people. C.A. King delivers a captivating narrative that makes it hard to put this book down. It’s a fresh take on the usual apocalyptic scenarios. It is book 2 in the series and I would definitely recommend picking up the first to avoid confusion.
