City Without A Sun by Alexander Charalambides is the second book in the Vanpire State series. I wouod definitely suggest reading these books in order as it is a continuation of the story. This book is as exciting and fast paced as the first book. It has such an interesting and compelling story that I was hooked right from the word go. I loved the way this story developed, there was always something going on and it felt like the author really pushed the characters to their limits. I couldn’t put this book down once I started it as I just had to know what was going to happen. This series is the first time I have read this author and I love the way he creates such an attention grabbing story. I am definitely looking forward to what else is to come with this series and to looking into more of his work.

This was my first book by Alexander Charalambides. It wasn’t bad but it was a little confusing at points. I felt like Rowena was too indecisive. There were too many times that she left important decisions up in the air. Like she didn’t know what she wanted. I also didn’t like how she played Vincenzo and Luka. The story was well written just don’t try to multitask while reading. I did like how the story is about a revolution. These Pales came in and took over the human world. Thinking they know what is best for the population. Was an interesting view point. Though Rowena wasn’t in my opinion the best candidate for human representation. Though many people don’t know what they want or who they want to be at her age. I felt that if she was putting herself in the position to make a difference she would try harder. I actually look forward to the next book to check to see if Rowena grows as a person.

Lula is very sweet girl. Dominic is a bit of a playboy and has some issues with moving on and letting go.Mindy McKinley makes the chemistry exchanges between Lula and Dom a thrill. The book is very layered and you can see the layers building through each chapter. This is a must read book this year. You want Steamy scenes this book has them all writhe. Lula’s family mysteries are revealed will they hurt her chances with Dominic, what fate is in store for these couple.

I enjoyed this book. I really love how this is not a typically Christmas story, at least in America. The trolls are mean at first and try to help get the bad kids to Gryla, but then one Christmas they decide to be more on the nice side and provide the kids with presents. It is nice to see that even though these presents are very basic, the children are happy, which in turn makes the trolls feel joy. It seems they will no longer try to lure the bad children, but continue to make them happy. I really like how the trolls want nothing in return except for the satisfaction of making someone else smile, that is very good lesson to teach children.
I enjoyed this book. This is a collection of essays by this author that can be seen as inspiration and also sadness. The collection goes through this author’s life such as humor, romance and so much more. They are interesting and easy to read for the most part. Each essay is unique and different from each other. This is a great way to look at and learn about this author’s life. I highly recommend this book.

This author is quickly becoming one of my favorites. This is a genre I wouldn’t think I would enjoy but then I get so into the story I’m begging for more. I felt real bad for Delilah, getting forced to work on her vacation and on top of that doing something she did not want to do for 3 witches she never meant to come into contact with. I was excited to see her meet the sheriff, Malakhi and to see where their relationship would head. I was not prepared for but, was ecstatic to welcome Caspian into this mix! I really enjoyed the flow of this book, the story, and the characters. I love that the author introduced LGBT+ characters into this story and I am really looking forward to see what happens next with this trio. I also wouldn’t mind see what comes of Sheridan and her crush.

This is a new author for me and I loved this first book. I can’t wait to read more from her in the future. This is a dark romance suspense story that I had a hard time putting down. There is something that can be triggers but if you get past those you will find a really awesome story. I was pulled right into the story by the characters. They took me on an emotional roller coaster ride just waiting to see what would happen next. Gianna is a woman that has been broken in more than one way. With a determination to survive she runs from her abusive husband. Then she runs into Derek. He can’t seem to stay away from her no matter how broken she is. Will he show her another way of life? I loved Gianna’s character. She is such a strong person and she shows that with everything she has gone through. I loved their chemistry and how they brought the story to life. I highly recommend this book and this author.
This is a cute childrens Christmas story. The illustrations were just as cute as the story line. This is a story about a Christmas troll that is seen by a young shepherds boy. The boy must keep the troll’s secret so he offers him a gift. But will he be the one to get a gift? Will he learn the gift of joy? This is a story of Christmas spirit and learning the meaning of that. This is a great folklore that any child would enjoy. I highly recommend this book.
Unwrapped was a fantastic 5 star read that I really enjoyed from beginning to end. The synopsis sounded great so I couldn’t wait to get started and I wasn’t disappointed at all. I loved the main characters, Nick and Miranda, they were opposite to each other but as they say opposites attract and they definitely had the attraction and chemistry going on! I mean I fell in love with Nick straight away 0 I love the dark and brooding type of characters – hence why I loved Nick from the get go! There were a few twists and turns along the way but I was definitely rooting for the two of them from the very beginning. A fun, romance read that I would highly recommend!

This story was so brilliant! I loved every minute of it. I was kind of hooked after I read the blurb but once I started reading it exceeded my expectations. The storyline was quirky and funny and I loved the characters, they made me laugh so much. I just adored the main characters, especially Sophie! The connection and back and forth between her and Trace was funny. Although this is the second book in the New Orleans Nocturnes series it’s easily read as a standalone which is how I read it, it’s also the first time that I have ready anything by this author and I cannot wait to read more of this series! I loved this book so much and would definitely recommend it to others!

When I first read the synopsis for this book I was a little intrigued, it sounded good so thought I would give it a go. When I first started reading it I wondered if I would enjoy it especially since I’ve not read the first two in the series but I absolutely did. It was a really good read. The author’s writing was detailed and descriptive which enabled me to imagine what I was reading and for me this made the story even more enjoyable. I loved the main characters Frances and Jack as well as some great secondary characters too. I will definitely be reading the first two in the series now and I am looking forward to more from this series also. This book was a great introduction to Ms Radtke as a new author!

I’ve read a few books this year but not one that has grabbed me like this one. I absolutely loved it! Even after I had finished reading I wanted more, I wanted to go back and start it all over again. This is the first book that I have read by this author and I cannot wait to carry on this series with her. Her writing was superb, it was engaging and the characters were just amazing to read about. The flow of the story meant that it was so easy to read and the pace was perfect. Lula and Dominic – I just loved them. She was sweet and he was hot (and I mean book boyfriend hotness level!!) I adored them together and was rooting for then the whole time! There a few twists in the story which was great, it made it less predictable. I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book in the series!! I 100% recommend this book!! A fantastic debut novel!!

Thrilling and non stop action! I am glad I am not a character…I would need a breather. They just keep jumping from the frying pan into the fire….and then back into the pan again. So much goes in in here. I would recommend reading the first two to get some background and help with this one. We see a lot of heart stopping and shocking moments. That Rune really impressed me since she came off all flighty previously. Yes there are times I really don’t follow all that Uncle Lucas and St Benedict say but it’s all part of the bigger picture.
I think I said the last one is a fav. But this one overtakes my feelings on that. It answers a lot of questions but not all. I really feel that as these stories go on they became more magic filled and less steampunk. Which I loved. St Ben really seems human with a few augmentations and on the cover he looks like a robot. Why? Maybe I’m wrong. Anyway this is a small wonder that I have.
Over all this story is amazing. The places this author takes us are as many as there are the characters. I couldn’t hardly put this down as the suspense kept me glued to the book. I highly recommend.

I have read a couple other books by this author so i knew I would enjoy this one before I even opened it and I was so right!
Delilah is a demon living among us and when she snaps and needs a break from it all, she finds a small little town to relax in, or so she thinks. This author has a way of giving enough details you can just picture everything that the characters are seeing and experiencing without being overly descriptive. I really enjoyed this book and had a few laughs, a few edge of my seat moments and overall just enjoyment. I can’t wait for more in this new series!

Valkyrie is quickly becoming a one click author in the paranormal genre for me. She has a distinct voice with extremely well developed characters. I love the strong female leads! Loved it!

I really enjoy Charalambides’s writing style and am thoroughly enjoying how this series continues to develop. This is not the overdone or predictable vampire fiction that seems to be mass produced at times. Charalambides has put together a fresh and original tale that continues to pull you in and keep you glued to the pages. I have loved this series so far and cannot wait to see how it continues to develop. Another winner!

The Devil’s Day was by far my favorite book in this series so far. Megan Mackie didn’t disappoint with this one. There is action, magic and twists. I really like Rune. I feel like the author wrote her really well. The fantasy alone was worth the read. This world that the author created has so many interesting characters. The story is well written and gives you a little more. When Rune receives a challenge that could take everything from her. She buckles down and does everything she can to keep her bar. The author didn’t miss a beat. St. Benedict is a interesting character as well. The romance is so intense to me. I also like that it doesn’t overshadow the main goal. Overall get this series so you can enjoy it too

High Heels and Mistletoe is a great Christmas story with a touch of Magic by C.A. King. Julietta and Luke are great characters. Juliette who is really good at her job, but stays as far away from Christmas, and Luke is a playboy to the max, until he meets Julietta. This is a fun relaxing story. It is one of my favorite books by Ms. King. It really put me into the spirit of Christmas.

The Lord Hani Mysteries are interesting historical mysteries. I have found myself reading these books in one sitting. I think that this book is the best so far in the series. The series is set in Ancient Egypt. N.L. Homes does an outstanding job of writing in the time period. The details are amazing and can be seen in my mind’s eye. The characters are engaging. Lord Hani is trying to keep his daughter safe from the new Queen. He is also looking for a murderer trying to keep his family safe. Can Hani keep his family safe? Can he find the murderer? Will the King keep honoring him? I recommend reading this series and read them in order so you will get more enjoyment out of the series.

The Devil’s Day is the third spellbinding book in The Lucky Devil Series by Megan Mackie. I know I have said this before, but I absolutely love this series, it really is soooo fantastic! I have been anticipating the release of this book for a while now and was so excited when it finally hit my kindle. Ms. Mackie doesn’t disappoint– keeping me enthralled the whole way through. This is an epicurban fantasy with cyberpunk/neon-fantasy, sci-fi, dystopian, and paranormal elements. There is so much to love here- with plenty of magic, action adventure, suspense, mystery, conspiracies, hidden agendas, corporate politics, quips, banter, drama, tension, chemistry, intrigue, danger, secrets, emotion, and different realms….as well as a myriad of mystical and mythical creatures. The overarching storyline is spellbinding and full of intricate details and incredibleworld building. If you haven’t read the previous books, I highly recommendthat you do as not only are the stories absolutely wonderful, there’s a lot of backstory and character information there that will help you better appreciate this book- as well as build a much bigger picture. Rune has been through, and discovered, so much since we met her back in book one. This book sees her face her biggest challenge yet- and Ms. Mackie certainly put her through her paces here. Rune has been challenged for control of her ‘House’- which is so much more than just a bar- so there’s quite a lot at stake. She isn’t sure she has what it takes to win the challenge- but time is pressing and soon she won’t have a choice. She will need to face this head on and use all the skills and connection she has gained, if she has any chance of succeeding. But there is more going on than just a ‘challenge’- as Rune will soon learn. Her lack of confidence in herself could lead to her losing all she loves. But there is a lot more to Rune than even she gives herself credit for. Saint Benedict is a cybernetically enhanced corporate spy who has a complicated past. Again, these two will need to work closely together in order to get through this latest threat. But will secrets and betrayal destroy the trust they have built between them. With outside forces targeting them and hellbent on winning at any cost, they are put in a seemingly impossible and incredibly dangerous situation, where their options are running out and all their lives, and the fate of the ‘House’ and the Lucky Devil Bar, are all on the line. Ms. Mackie has once again delivered a wonderfully rich, vibrant and vividly detailed story- set in a such a cleverly constructed and interesting world. This is world building on a masterful level. The characters are truly brilliant– so well crafted and fully developed. There are a lot of characters to keep track of, but the story is so well written that I didn’t have any trouble keeping up. I loved how the characters grow and evolve as the story progresses, especially Rune. I love the chemistry between Rune and Saint Benedict, I really hope that chemistry develops into something ‘more’. I have been rooting for them since the beginning- so they better get their act together soon. The story twists and turns, with lots of surprises and unexpected developments that had me on the edge of my seat in expectation. I loved that this story provided so much more backstory and character revelations- there were so many fascinatingdetails that I would love to divulge here, but I won’t as I really don’t want to spoil any of the story for you. I can’t recommend this story and author highly enough. You really should read it for yourself, you really won’t be disappointed!!! Can. Not. Wait. For. The. Next. Instalment!!!

She is strong, intelligent, and independent. She gives her all when on a case and doesn’t stop until it has been solved. What will happen in her current case? Read this book to find out. This is a story that had me turning pages to find out what was going to happen next. The book is fast-paced and had me hooked from the very beginning. I enjoyed many of the characters that interact with PJ. Many of them are her family and friends. I love the bantering back and forth between the characters. The author does an amazing job of making a storyline that is addictive to read and comes alive on the pages. Don’t miss out on the current PJ Santini book that is exciting and entertaining. I loved reading the book Lies That Bind (Logan McKenna Series Book 6) by Valerie Davisson. It is a story that includes mystery and danger. This book in the series has Logan McKenna meeting her half-sister Olivia as well as them both pulled into the death of a young woman. Was it an accident or murder? The story had me turning pages wondering what was going to happen next. I loved the introduction of Logan’s half-sister Olivia. Logan was unsure of how she would feel about Olivia and it caused her to wonder about how they would get along. Read this book to find out if they find common ground. There are many twists and turns in this story that I didn’t see coming. There are also secrets revealed. Logan is a strong, independent, and intelligent woman who knows how to take care of herself and steps up to help others when needed. This series is a delight to read and each book that I read is better than the last. The author does an amazing job of making both the story and the characters come alive. Don’t miss out on an exciting and entertaining story that you won’t want to put down until the final page. I highly recommend reading it.

This is the second book in the series Vampire State. I highly suggest reading the first book to understand what is going on better. Alexander Charalambides put a lot of details in her story to build a world that captures your interest from the page until the last page. The storyline takes you on a roller coaster ride of emotions. The characters are complex and have many levels of their personality. The characters are what make this story to life. I really like Rowena’s character. She isn’t afraid to take on challenges. She pairs up with Vincenzo to find out what is going on in their progress that they have made. This story is full of adventure and some romance. This is definitely one of the series that you do not want to miss.

Grumbler’s Ride by Manda Mellett is the second book in the Satan’s Devils MC San Diego. This series does not need to be read in order however I would highly recommend redding them all as they are just that good! As usual this book is an absolutely fantastic addition to what is already an amazing series. I was instantly hooked on this book as soon as I started reading. I liked that the author chose to do a story about an older couple. It isn’t something you see all that often and she did it so well that I still found myself connecting with the characters. This book is just as exciting and thrilling as the others and I loved every minute of reading it. I cannot recommend this series highly enough – do yourself a favour and start reading it today!!!

Lula is very conservative in dress and attitude. That is until she listens to Jazz. Dominic he too is a teacher, as well as a playboy. He could bring Lula out of her shell. Mindy McKinley wrote this page turner. Jump on in the rollercoaster and keep the tissue and chocolate close by. I fell in love with Dominic and can relate to Lula. The characters are real people and have real struggles. I must say The Adams Brothers Series is becoming to be a favorite. I can’t wait for Book 2! Well done Mindy McKinley, Well Done!
