Humiliating Revenge by T. Christensen was a great read! I was immediately captured from the first page and I couldn’t put this story down until I finished it all. I feel like there should be a content warming in the beginning however, as several parts of the story are graphic and could potentially be triggers. It was a great story, with a great plot, amazing characters and overall really well written. This is the first novel I’ve read by Christensen and I can’t wait to read more in the future!

5 Star Hero High: Figure In The Flames by Mina Chara I’m going to start off by saying if you haven’t read the first three books in this series you are truly missing out. Besides who doesn’t love a boxset. I devoured all three of these books ,although they are short stories the storyline kept me turning the pages. There are a few twists and turns that had me on the edge of my seat trying to figure out what was going to happen next. Friday Fitzsimmons and others are apart of a Reality TV channel where good fights evil. There’s even a The Figure in the Flames. There’s a bit of everything from action to danger to Romance. Follow along with Friday and the others as they go on this adventure. Grab this boxset to find out what happens next. I highly recommend.

Humiliating Revenge: Contemporary Young Adult Romance by T. Christensen
Once I started reading this book I was unable to put it down. I was so drawn in that I read it in one sitting. I was taken on a surprising roller coaster of emotion. I absolutely loved reading this story, the characters conveyed so many emotions throughout the story. Both Calum and Olivia had layers of feelings from their time together in high school and from their break up. Olivia has always been seen and the stuck up snotty girl but there’s more there than meets the eye. Calum who has now become an MMA fighter has resentment and anger built up for the way Olivia humiliated him, but there are other feelings buried deep inside. There are some really great supporting characters in this book as well. The author did an excellent job striking a chord inside of me and writing a wonderful and intriguing story. I highly recommend this book.

How (Stalker #3) by Megan Mitcham was a thrilling 5 star read.
We start with Libby being part of a huge weapons bust. When she returns to the offices she is surprised to see pictures of her hanging up all over in the break room. Pictures continue to show up at different times and places in the office.
At home she has her neighbors cat “Killer” for company. The first few times she meets her neighbor he says nothing to her but he is hot as heck. When things take a scary twist she gets to know her neighbor better and they start to have a very hot connection. He turns into the protector when Libby tells him that someone has been coming into her home while she’s sleeping.
Can Libby and Jake find out who the stalker is before someone is killed? Can these two have a HEA together?
Overall I really enjoyed this read. I loved both characters and the steamy moments we got with them. The secondary characters were great as well. I had some LOL moments when it came to the cats in the story. I was pulled in by Megan’s writing and didn’t want to stop until I was done. I love the guessing game of who is the stalker up until the surprise towards the end. Even though this is the third book in the series you can read this book as a stand alone.

Hansel & Gretel (Down the Rabbit Hole) Anthology was full of interesting stories providing a retelling of the fairy tale Hansel and Gretel. Each story had a different twist and I enjoyed how the two were depicted differently. The stories include romance, fantasy, and horror versions. A few easily caught my attention while some took me a couple of pages. My favorite story in the anthology is “The Dragon and The Phoenix” by Rachel Pudsey. I enjoyed the characters in this short story and also the creativity. This book was enjoyable and entertaining. I recommend it.
I enjoyed this shorter story by this author. This is a paranormal story that pulled me into the story right from the beginning. This is a well written story that made me feel as if I was right there in the story with the characters. This author’s attention to details made the characters feel real and connectable. This is the second book in this series and the continuation of Vi and Aiden’s story. I highly recommend reading the first book before this one to help understand where the characters have been. A mystical storm is approaching and Vi knows that something is about to change. What will happen when Aiden knocks on her door? Emotions that were never expected are felt. This is where the story picks up and I couldn’t put it down. They are great characters that heat up the pages. I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens to Vi and Aiden.

I enjoyed this book. It is the third book in this series and my favorite yet. I highly suggest reading the previous two books. This is a well developed story that I had a hard time putting down. It is engaging and full of romance. I had no problem connecting with the characters. The emotional roller coaster ride they took me on had me turning pages to the end. This is a second chance love story that pulled at my heartstrings. Fate has brought Silas back to Atlanta, back to Audrey. Will she hate him for leaving the first time? Audrey has finally gotten to the part of her life where she has everything she wants. What will happen when fate puts Silas back into her life? Is she strong enough to resist him or will fate give them a second chance? I enjoyed the chemistry between them. I also enjoyed watching these two character’s relationship grow throughout the story. This is a really great story. I highly recommend this book and this author.

Humiliating Revenge: Contemporary Young Adult Romance by T. Christensen. I love T. Christensen so I was excited to read this one. I loved the story of Calum Breen and Olivia Crawford. Olivia is the typical spoiled little rich girl who is the Mayor’s daughter. But what people don’t know is that Olivia’s father is overbearing and abusive. Calum is the star athlete who is sweet and can do no wrong in the town’s eyes. When Olivia humiliates him in front of the whole town he decides then and there he will make her pay one day. Calum becomes a MMA fighter and has returned to his home town. But once he returns and he gets to really know Olivia and some of her deep dark secrets then he’s not so sure he can hurt her more. Before he was the love struck young boy who Olivia made sure knew that he wasn’t good enough for. What will he do when he finds out Olivia isn’t as callous and mean as he thought. Hansel & Gretel (Down the Rabbit Hole) is an anthology of brilliant stories by a variety of fantastic authors. They have each taken on the task to create their own version of the classic tale Hansel and Gretel and the result is a mix of original retellings. Anthologies have never been my favourite style of book to read but it is ones like this that is slowly changing my mind. I enjoyed each and every one of these stories – they were all so different from each other but all so exciting. The books touched on a range of different topics and straddled the line of dark writing so well. Each book had something about it that made me enjoy it. There was a different element that caught my attention. The one thing I can say that all the books had was a well written story with some complex and interesting characters. This is definitely an anthology I would recommend as well as 7 authors to discover.
So the second book in this trilogy definitely measured up against the first, it may not have been as full of action however the continuation of Bryer and Nathan’s relationship had be hanging on every turn of the page! There were some twists and turns for them to navigate in this story and I really enjoyed following them. I loved that the story was told from dual POV’s (Bryer and Nathan) my favourite writing style to read and I enjoyed the odd POV from Cash as well! When I first started this book I thought I knew what was going to happen so I loved that the author threw in a character I didn’t expect which took the storyline off on a tangent which was exciting and unexpected! I am definitely looking forward to more from Ms Wine in the future!

This was a great read. You cant help but love the characters in this story and it keeps you gipped.
Calum and Olivia were high school sweethearts. Their love for each other was strong and pure. However Olivia was the Mayors daughter and he didnt approve so forced her to break up with Calum in a public way. Causing heartbreak to them both and public humiliation to Calum.
Fast forward years later, Calum is a successful MMA fighter. He returns home for a fight and makes it his goal to find and humiliate Olivia the way she did him.
However, things arent what they seem. Then or now. Olivia is trapped by her abusive father who rules every aspect of her life. She sees no escape from him.
Can Calum see past his hurt to see what is really happening and rescue her or will her hardshell and cold attitude succeed in hurting and pushing him away again.

Sometimes you need to read a book whether you know it or not. This book in one way or another called to me. I am so glad I read this book, I just needed it. Meg and Drew are our two main characters and I really got wrapped up in their stories and how they’ve battled through everything life has decided to throw at them. I love small town stories and all that comes with them. I cant wait to see where this series goes! Glad I took a chance on these 2 new to me authors!

Ok im going to get this off my chest first lol. I loved this book through and through and I understand the reasoning, i do, but I am so bothered/aggravated by the ending I can’t get over it. I know why it was done the way it was but I just need an answer as to who?! I cant make a guess because each one was great in their own way. Ok got that all out! This was so different and i really enjoyed this. What if we could see what would happen with each choice made in life? That’s this book. Different takes on different choices. Chloe was a no drama character really she wasn’t. I loved her blunt holds no punches attitude. And all the people we meet. I loved them. Great read really, im just hung up about the end.
What a read! I’m so glad that I picked this read up, I was absolutely captivated with this read from the very beginning and couldn’t put it down till the very end. I found the ending of this read bittersweet, as I really didn’t want it to end, I wanted to carry on following Drew & Meg’s story.
This was a beautiful read that was full of emotions, Meg & Drew both held my heart the entire read and I just hoped that their past wouldn’t hold them back from what you could tell was going to be an epic love! Meg & Drew’s connection started off a tad rocky but boy oh boy did it definitely heat up, they had an amazing chemistry and connection in and out of the bedroom, they really bounced off each other and brought out the best in each other all the while breaking down each others barriers.
This book really brought out all your emotions, in parts it was both heartwarming and heartbreaking but I couldn’t help but route for these two characters that they get a HEA they both so deserve. I loved the secondary characters that were weaved into Meg & Drew’s story, but Nana was who stood out the most! I loved her honesty, her caring and protective side all rolled into one, yet she never judged.
This was an amazing story that I can’t wait to read again, I’m looking forward to reading what else comes to this series and what characters journeys we follow next!
I highly recommend this read, it’s not to be missed!

This is my first book by CA Miconi. I knew it was a romance and that’s exactly what I needed in my life. I didn’t realize how much this book would gut me hearing all of their past. I fell hard and fast for both of the main characters in this book- Meg and Drew. Which ironically is my ex husband’s name. I have to admit that threw me off, but he acts more like my boyfriend now- so I was a goner for these two characters. It was a great read and I recommend it 100%. This will not be my last book by CA Miconi!

I give How (Stalker Series Book 3) by Megan Mitcham, 5 stars.
This is my favorite book in the series. While every main character in this series has been wonderful, I personally could relate to Libby a bit more. Throw cats into the mix and you sold me. All of that aside, this book has the romance and suspense you have come to expect in this series. There are many twists and turns and you feel exactly what Libby must be feeling — both good and bad. The new characters introduced in this book are really interesting too. They have layers to them, not just flat placeholders.
If you like a romantic suspense story with a strong female lead and lots of twists and turns, this book is for you.

Tangled Fates (Tangled Magic Series Book 2) By Denise D. Young 5 out of 5 stars
I loved reading the story Tangled Fates (Tangled Magic Series Book 2) by Denise D. Young. It is a book that pulled me in from the beginning and didn’t let me go until the final page. I loved reading about the characters of Vivienne “Vi” Gearhart and Aiden McPherson. They are the main characters in this story. They are trying to find a way to break a curse that has sunk its teeth into the coven. What else will they learn about themselves along the way? What does the future hold for Vi and Aiden? Read this book to find out. The author does an amazing job of world-building. This story has magic, danger, a curse, and romance. Romantic scenes included in this story. The book is written in such a way that I felt like I was right there with the characters. I was hooked from the very beginning and found myself turning pages to find out what happens next. This is a story that I would recommend reading.

I loved reading the book Not So Far (Love Grows Series Book 3) by Renee Regent. It pulled me in from the very beginning and didn’t let me go until the final page. The story had my emotions going up and down the entire time I was reading it. I loved the characters of Silas and Audrey. Audrey is a woman who is intelligent, independent, and sassy. She can’t believe it when Silas once again appears in her life. Silas is a man who wants a second chance with Audrey. Problem is that Audrey is mad at him for disappearing all those years ago. When these two get together there is a connection between them. There is a passion that can’t be denied. There are also secrets that both have kept. What does the future hold for Silas and Audrey? Will they take the second chance that has been given to them? What will happen if secrets are revealed? Read this book to find out. This story has very romantic scenes. I enjoyed the bantering that goes back and forth between Silas and Audrey. I couldn’t help but care what happens in their life and I was rooting for them to find happiness. This is a book about love and second chances. The author does a wonderful job of making the characters come alive. This is a story that will have you hooked and not wanting to put it down. Hero High: Figure in the Flames is the first three novels in the Hero High series by Mina Chara. I really love this series. It starts with introducing the reader to the world of Superheroes. Specifically Friday Fitzsimmons, a first year student at the famous Hero High in Icon City. The world has changed since the first superheroes appeared. They are now celebrities, followed by cameras on their missions and fighting for popularity. The story is told in flashback with Friday recalling the tale to a writer (which is a style I really liked). Friday faces a number of trials while trying to decide which kind of hero she is going to be. Whilst also realising that not everything is as it seems in Icon City. This book has mystery, romance and action while also being funny and fresh. The main characters are (mostly) likable and as you read on you find out more about their lives. I recommend this book to fantasy lovers who are looking for something new. Very enjoyable read.

Perfectby Tricia Copeland is an intriguing take on contemporary romance. Ms. Copeland’s creative way of bringing this story together, and the way she involves her readers- really made for a great read. This story is a little different from the other books that I have read from Ms. Copeland- and showcases her storytelling talents and confirms that she is able to tackle any genre. The premise of this book really intrigued me, and I loved the simple and elegant cover- and having enjoyed Ms. Copeland’s other work, I happily grabbed a copy to entertain me for an afternoon. Perfect is a standalone, light-hearted, interesting, and thought provoking read. It has emotion, humour, sweet and tender scenes, a ‘clean’ romance, and great characters. I enjoyed the way the story was woven, even if it was a little predictable at times. Looking forward to seeing what Ms. Copeland does next!

Arrows Tipped with Honey is the second book in the Natural Forces series by Jean Gill. First off I was absolutely fascinated with the cover . This story is very intriguing and one that once you start you won’t want to put it down till you finish. Mielitta ,Queen of the Warrior Bees is . faced with breaking the barrier between Forest and Citadel. Mage is leading a double life while trying to stay loyal to Mielitta and being a spy for Citadel. He has a lot on inner conflicts and doubts but also danger and the possibility of being discovered. These two kept me intrigued and turning the pages I had to know what was going to happen next. Leah Marcus was a 17-yr-old wealthy, white, Jew descendant with a well-off family. She was a piano prodigy and aspiring pediatric neurosurgeon. Damon Allbright, all-star football who had a beautiful singing voice in the church’s choir as pastor’s son of one of Cincinnati’s biggest churches. Leah was brutally killed during the 2001 race riots. Her death had a profound effect on the city during the summer and spring of that year. Suspicion fell on Leah’s boyfriend and matters turn worse when the cops find Leah’s DNA on Damon pinning the rape and homicide squarely on him. Sexism, classism and racism all play a role in Damon’s trial. Local crime reporter of the Cincinnati Tribune decides to re-investigate the trial and discover the truth of the heinous crime. I always enjoy a good read of true crime, mystery and unraveling of a character’s life. This book is no different as it has multiple layers. This is a gut-wrenching read considering what happened to Leah but to have her boyfriend accused is what breaks your heart as well. When I read or witness things like this in reality, we want justice to be served but not every time we get it. This is by far one of the best books that’s captured my imagination!

Arrows Tipped with Honey (Natural Forces Book 2) by Jean Gill was a great fantasy read. This is the second book in the series, I did jump into the second book without reading the first and was able to follow along. I loved the plot and the story as it developed. The story was super descriptive and it really helped me dive into the world head first. I have so many questions on what happens next that I cannot wait for the next book.

Be Brave With Me (Finding Love In Green Springs Book 1) by J.B. Havens (Goodreads Author), C.A. Miconi was a great 5 star read. I was pulled in right from the beginning with these two.
Following ;a tragedy in her life, Meg has sold everything and is looking for a new place to live. When she stops in a small town to rest she ends up getting more than she bargained for. She meets Nana at the hotel and she is very kind. Then she meets Drew, the first time she sees him she is completely rude and mean to him.
Meg isn’t the typical woman that Drew would fall for but there is something about her that draws him in. With the past tragedy he hasn’t been interested in moving on but Meg seems to spark something in him. Megs car breaks down and she ends up having to stay in town longer. Drew takes advantage of this and asks Meg out. You could feel their connection coming off the pages.
Can these two get past their tragic history and find happiness together?
“Sometimes, bein’ brave doesn’t mean not feelin’ fear. I think true bravery is when you feel the fear, own it, and do what scares you anyway” – Drew
Overall I really enjoyed this book. I had so many emotions during the read along with LOL moments. Meg was feisty and said what came to her mind and Drew was a hot as heck sweet man. The secondary characters were great. This was a great second chance romance that pulled at my heartstrings. I look forward to reading more from this series. 1-click and get started today.

Spouse Trap: Madeline Dawkins Mysteries by Cynthia Hamilton is the first book in her Madeline Dawkins series. I was not sure about this book when I first picked it up but wanted to give it a shot because I love detective books. This book did not disappoint, I was hooked from the beginning and was left wanting more. It is an interesting book and it follows Madeline Ridler who is married to a wealthy man and has her life thrown upside down. The way this woman grows throughout the book and overcomes everything thrown at her is amazing. I personally hated her character at first but loved her by the end of the book. I recommend this book!

Imagine waking up in a hotel room alone and naked, not knowing how you got there. You manage to figure out where you are and find your way to your beach house. A few days later, your husband shows up with compromising pictures of you and demands a divorce.
Madeline Dawkins, the main character, finds herself in this harsh reality! Through her tears, frustration, overwhelming deceit, and everything else thrown her way, Madeline finds her inner strength.

While I could follow the story line as I began reading Arrows Tipped with Honey, I had so many questions about Mielitta’s character and what caused the current status at the beginning of the book. As a result, I quickly grabbed the first book (Queen of the Warrior Bees) in this series and dived into this world. I am glad I did. I found the character and “universe” development from the first book to provide a deeper appreciation and understanding of what was transpiring in Arrows Tipped with Honey. Throughout Arrows Tipped with Honey, the author did a superb job at developing the characters further and making them so complex that you feel you are right there with them in the midst of the action. While many questions you had from the first book are answered in this book, Arrows Tipped with Honey gives you many more questions and leaves you begging for another book to follow. You must grab Queen of the Warrior Bees (Book 1) and Arrows Tipped with Honey (Book 2) today (with a cup of coffee) and plan to not leave your reading spot for a long while.

Spouse Trap by Cynthia Hamilton was a great read! It was a very intriguing, mysterious, suspenseful, edge-of-your seat read! I thoroughly enjoyed this one. I felt a little off about it reading the first couple of chapters, but by chapter 4 I was completely enthralled and couldn’t stop reading. This is the first novel I’ve read my Hamilton before, and I can’t wait to read more from her, and more of this series!

How by Megan Mitcham is the third book in the Stalker Series. These are standalone books, but I recommend reading each of these. FBI Special Agent Libby Irish is working on a case involving a weapons ring trying to make herself noticed and respected by the men in her job. If that isn’t bad enough, a photo of her is making the rounds undermining all the hard work she has been putting in. This is a great story which kept me on the edge of my seat. There is action, suspense, romance, and lots of twists and turns. I have enjoyed this entire series and this did not disappoint. The main characters are always fantastic and interesting. There is a lot of character and story development and this helps to drive the story. I look forward to reading more from this author in the future.
