While this book is part of the Mission 3047 universe, it can definitely be read as a standalone because in this book we get to delve into the character of Sarge. I enjoyed Ledwith’s development of this character and the fact that we get to have Sarge tell his story. This story isn’t my typical read and it is a little different, but it was enjoyable, the writing is superb and very imaginative, and it does engage you. Overall, I would recommend if you were into sci-fi and adventure.

Killer Smile is the sequel to Killer Blonde, and I loved the premise of this one. I do think it’s best to read the first book as there are references to the events which took place. You’ll also get an introduction to the character of Cade. The writing was easy to follow and well-paced, but this one is darker than the first and more graphic. This isn’t a bad thing for me, I enjoy dark thrillers, but it is something to note if you aren’t okay with that. I loved the idea of killers competing, that part really drew me in. Another thing I enjoyed in this book was that the character of Cade felt a little more flushed out than in the last book. The events of the last past have affected Cade and that gives the character a little more depth. Overall, an enjoyable read and it was great to see more depth.

This is an entertaining crime novel following the pursuit of an interesting serial killer by Cade. I thought it was different the way the story was told through multiple points of view, including the killer. This was an element I wasn’t sure of at first but the thrill of when and how they’d be caught was engaging. There were moments of frustration when you want to knock some sense into some characters and some elements did break the realism of the story for me procedurally, however when looking at it as a purely fictional case, this was still an enjoyable case to be ‘involved’ in. The writing style was simple and easy to follow. The pacing felt right for the story, there wasn’t any rushing to get to the end as can sometimes be seen in mystery thrillers. I very much liked the author’s style of writing. I did enjoy the characters however, I felt that there could have been a little more complexity to them, some back story which shaped them and developed over time. I may a little bias in this as I really enjoy character development in my reading. Overall, this was an entertaining read, it wasn’t as dark as I was initially expecting so it was an easy pleasant read.

This is not only a new author for me, it is also a new genre. Having said that, I found this story to be entertaining and with a lot of good feels. Paying it forward is always a good thing. When Sarge was in high school he was approached and offered a better life. To get away from working and focus on his studies. That was just what Sarge needed to get started. I could tell you more, but I feel this story is well worth the read. While it is short, it holds a powerful punch. It also shows what can happen if just one person can change the outcome of another. This author knows his stuff and by putting in on paper we all benefit. I look forward to seeing what comes next. I really enjoyed reading this story.

This is the sequal to Killer Blonde. I really recommend that you read that book first so you get the full history of Cade Dawkins and why he is now being targeted the way he is being targeted now. This is a dark psychological Thriller which had me gripped from the beginning and wouldn’t let me go. The author writing was really unique and the insight you are given into the minds of serial killers and people using the dark Web is both terrifying and gripping. As someone who loves crime stories and especially psychological crimes I was addicted to this story and all the elements that the author includes.
After ending the run of the serial killer nicked named the Blonde Killer Cade Dawkins was enjoying the peace. That case pushed him to his limits and spilt more blood than he ever wanted to but the killer was done and peace was resuming or so he thought. Little does he know that on the dark Web in a forum specifically for serial killers there has been a challenged put down. Who can go against Cade Dawkins and succeed? Who can commit murder on his patch and not get caught? Now Cade has not one serial killer to contend with but several and when the cat and mouse games get to close to home and the people he cares about can Cade keep his witts about him to protect not only the people he cares about and loves but the public as a whole. There is a target on Cade’s back but its everyone around him who is in the firing line. I really felt for Cade, after all he was just doing his job by taking down the Blonde Killer but that one action brought him to the attention of every other serial killer who wanted to be known as the one who went up against Cade Dawkins and won.
There are so many twists and turns in this fast paced read that i was on the edge of my seat from beginning to end. The odds are seriously stacked against Cade in this story but his determination to bring an end to these evil killers really shines through.

I have not read the other novels in this series, but I plan to. I loved the characters and the progression of the relationship. Even more, I loved the suspense and storyline. I am not one to read or watch suspense bodies of work, but the times when I do, I get hooked.
The passing of a loved one is hard. But to lose them so suddenly and through the act of murder, my heart went out to Hannah.
The entire time reading, I did not want to put the novel down. I just wanted to read.With the twists and turns, I did not know which direction the story was going to go in. Now I am going to read the other books.

Liza has a history with Eider, and coming back was never in her plan. With a thirst for vengeance on behalf of the victims and racing to protect her career, Liza refuses to let the town sheriff hold her back, no matter what he may stir in her. When they realize their cases are connected, they have to decide to work together, in spite of their feelings on relationships and their chemistry, as well as the high stress cases and Liza ending up back in Eider.
Really have enjoyed the Eider PD series, the characters are likeable, the suspense is palpable, the writing is compelling and keeps you flipping the pages. There’s romance, danger, trauma, some steam, bad guys and the good ones who pursue them.

An enjoyable and entertaining crime thriller which has a gripping storyline and an interesting main character in celebrated investigator Cade Dawkins. When Dawkins is given a difficult case to solve, he soon discovers that a serial killer is on the loose and that he has a type. Virtually identical blonde women are being murdered in Minnesota, causing the public to panic and resulting in political pressure to catch the killer. Dawkins learns that the serial killer has his own plan, one that is part of a larger more dangerous agenda. It soon becomes a cat and mouse game between the killer and the investigator but Dawkins realises that he might be the mouse. The descriptive narrative brought both the setting and the characters to life making me feel immersed in the story. The dual POV narrative from both the killer and Dawkins worked well and made me feel engaged with both of them. The suspense that was building chapter by chapter did disappear slightly for me when about half way through we learn the identity of the killer. However, the cat and mouse game continued and the main mystery was still to be solved. Overall this was a fast paced and exciting read.

This was a fascinating story. Starting with the crash of a UFO in Texas and through his adventures all the way to the Yukon, Mark is on the journey of a lifetime to get the best stories. He meets some unique characters that join him. He finds some amazing and intriguing mysteries such as what’s with Gus? The characters are enough to keep you enthralled. Even our friend, Emma, makes a quick appearance, that was a treat. The book kept me engaged and was delightful.

4.5 stars I really enjoy reading Kimberly’s Notebook mystery series so when I saw this new book, I was excited to see what it was all about. It is easy to be drawn into the worlds that Kimberley creates with historical facts, the adventure, the intrigue and mystery, suspense and drama that she writes so well. There are twists and turns to keep you on your toes. 1897 takes us on a historical trip where there are many interwoven story threads cleverly put together to make one interesting and compelling read. It is the story of Mark Sutherland a reporter who gets a job of a lifetime. Kimberley’s narrative is vivid in her descriptions that it is easy to imagine all that she describes with mysterious craft crashes, oil discoveries, gold to be found and new friendships forged. There is a lot going on in 1897 which adds to the anticipation of the story. You can feel the excitement, the hopes, the dreams, the failures, the wants and much more that the well written characters get caught up in and their discoveries. Come along on this exciting adventure. I can’t wait for more of Mark Sutherland and his adventures.

This book drew me in with the blurb that the author wrote about it. I want to tell you, that I was not disappointed. The MC’s are amazingly well written and you can actually visualize everything that the author describes as the settings in the book. The situations that the characters find themselves in are not typical but make complete sense in the book. You know how sometimes things happen and you just can’t imagine it any other way. That is this book. The series of events in the plot are amazing and once you read it, you realize that yep that needed to happen. The character growth is great and that is normally what really draws me into a book but this book it was the plot itself that kept me turning the pages. It is a really good read that had me flipping pages as quickly as I could because I was so engrossed in the storyline. I am actually having a hard time writing this review because I want to spill all the beans about the story but I don’t want to give anything away. That is how you now this book is really, really good. There are many twists and turns. Just when you thin you have everything figured out, boom, n something happens and all y0ur thoughts are gone. Novella This is the prequel and gives the backstory for Riley and Lynette who are already together in book one of The Talisman Series. The cover is so Riley, his cockiness just shows through. The story is a modern day take on Celtic warriors who each have a fated talisman that compliments their powers. It was great to meet all the characters that each have a book dedicated to them. Really looking forward to diving into this series. Highly recommend.

Zibs for Sale (I am an Alien) is a wonderfully written children’s book that is a super fun adventure aimed for children ages 4-8. My son and I love reading books by this author. Each story is fun and educational is many ways. This one takes us on an adventure to outer space with Eee-aah and Shirl . Shirl has never had a zibs before but her money is basically no good in outer space. Shirl finds herself in a situation where she got caught taking something that didn’t belong to her. I highly recommend reading this book to find out what lesson Shirl ? We look forward to reading more from this Author.

This is a beautiful story. I really loved the characters, and the way the story is written really makes you slow down and adsorb what’s going on in the story around you. Another fun young adult read. This time, Mia and her friends are getting ready for a Quinceanera for Tiffany. As they are doing this, there is a man who is murdered and dumped into the nearby water hole. Mia, along with Gumshoes, help the police to solve the “whodunit” of this mystery.
I enjoyed this book but felt that it lacked some of the pizazz that attracted me to the first book. I would have liked to have seen more development of Mia’s newfound powers. I feel like it was glossed over in this one.

As with the rest of the series, this is another steamy paranormal romance with fated mates, action, adventure, danger, destiny, drama, intrigue, the supernatural, druids, tension, suspense, creative world building, magic, Celtic mythology, warriors, good vs evil, history, and much more. Even though this is the seventh book in the series, it serves as a prequel to the series- so it can be read as a standalone if you wanted. But saying that, there is plenty of engrossing reading contained in the previous books, which you will probably want to know about- especially if you love paranormal romance, good vs evil, Celtic mythology, warriors, shamans, fate, and adventure. Here we get Riley and Lynnette’s story. And what a tale they have to tell. Riley finally finds his talisman, only to find that there is a sinister force bent on keeping them apart, to snatch away their chance of fulfilling their destiny. This is the third book of the North Fork Series. After reading the second book (which I really enjoyed) I went back to read the first book which is Fire Me Up. I know I didn’t have to, to understand this but the author tells such a good story. I just had to pick up the others’ stories from her. This one was a quick cute read with some steamy scenes you’ll love and a few twists you don’t expect but will enjoy. Wynter and Caleb even though they come from different backgrounds, I think they are perfect for each other and are soooo adorable together. Melt My Heart is so relatable. If you throw money out the window and focus on the characters. Most people have been so hurt in a relationship that their trust is broken and their hearts are sealed. The author not only gives us one character like that but two. Brought together by a stray dog these two may very well be the broken pieces to mend one another. However there’s a task that needs to be completed that makes it interesting. Caleb is a local guy, former Navy Seal, and comes from a wealthy family with a lucrative business. He knows that most women see dollar signs and not him. At the same time they aren’t the ones who broke him. It was a girl he was in the service with who was severely injured and felt unlovable, not worth it. He never expected a beauty to fall into his lap, let alone be given a task by his godfather’s father to help her complete. Wynter is starting over. Her life was destroyed In Manhattan by a man no less. She doesn’t want love, she just wants a career. Goals she set out for herself when in college. Caleb and this task were never in the cards. So what happens when those items start to change her? These two go on an adventure of mending one another while trying to deliver a message. Easier said than done. But like I said at the onset, very relatable. This is my first book in this series and by this author I’ve read. I look forward to digging more into both. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I’m sure there’s more where this one came from.

5/5 stars This was my first book in the series but 100% can be read as a standalone. This book is so good. The storyline, the character development, just all in all it’s a good book. It’s not too long of a read, but it’s not too short where it feels rushed. Even though the character relationship develops a little quick, it didn’t feel weird while reading it!

Wynter and Caleb come from very different backgrounds – Wynter used to hob-knob with the rich and charm them into donating to worthy causes, until heartbreak caused her to take a different path. She meets Caleb in a cafe where she waitresses and avoids love at all costs. Caleb is a former active duty Navy SEAL and has been burned by love, as well. They both swear off relationships until they run into one another while he stops in to grab a bite to eat.
Both characters are charming, sweet, relatable and familiar. Very likeable and as an animal lover, I enjoy the involvement of 4 legged characters, as well. Very cutesy comfort read, a lot of fun. Not many surprises but there are a few, and some heat as Caleb and Wynter advance forward from refusing love to a full embrace. Definitely a quick, enjoyable read and I’ll be checking in to the first 2 of this series, as well!

“Gumshoe is on the case. Mia Thomas’ close friend Tiffany Santos is celebrating her fifteenth birthday with a traditional Spanish/Mexican quinceanera, but murder also plans on attending. As Gumshoe tries to solve the first murder, the bodies keep piling up. Mia and Gumshoe are dragged into a dark world of treachery and corruption. Can the two sleuths find the culprit or will Tiffany’s special day be ruined.” This book is the 2nd in the series. Id recommend reading the 1st one first which is Gumshoe and the mysterious mushroom just to get the introduction of the characters. Loved this book cozy, entertaining, great characters and a quick read. I give this book 4 stars. Extra their are recipes at the end of the book that you can try to cook 😊.

Such an amazing read. I don’t know what exactly I was expecting but man was I captivated by this story. Full of surprises around every turn of the page. Fun, engaging, quick read. This would make a perfect Hallmark movie. I cannot go on as I will spoil this book for someone but I just think everyone who loves Christmas stories should grab this book!
The fourth book in the Buckeye Falls series and it does not disappoint! Each book can be read as a stand-alone but I recommend reading them in order as many of the characters do appear in the subsequent books. This book is wonderful in so many ways. I found it very hard to put it down and spent most of an afternoon finishing it. Quick, easy to read with well developed plot and characters.

This is an intriguing story about Celtic warriors of this time. This story brings readers a look at the world belonging to The Talisman series. Tracker gives readers the story of Riley and Lynnette. When the two meet their lives are turned upside down. I enjoyed seeing the way these two bonded. The two work well together and it was nice to see them fight for what they know is right. I liked seeing how Lynnette grounds Riley and how together there is nothing that can stop them. Their story is fast paced and has strong characters. The author has woven a world full of magic and emotions and I am interested in seeing what will happen next in it.

This is definitely not your typical love story but it was easy to read and I could barely put it down. I read it in one afternoon. I giggled out loud, cried a couple times, and got a bit of a surprise also(always nice). The character development was also nice to follow and see how it ended.
