Before I Let You Go is a contemporary romance with danger, drama, mystery, suspense, intrigue, secrets, and paranormal elements. The story centers around the MC Elsbeth whose life seems to be falling apart with one bad thing after another happening to her. When she inherits a house on a remote island from an estranged aunt Elsbeth seizes the opportunity to have a fresh start. This, however, does not come easy as she is wracked with guilt about leaving behind her ailing father and how she ended things with her boyfriend. When strange things start happening at the island home it leads Elsbeth to Bishop, who claims to be an angel, and a mystery that needs to be solved before time runs out. As secrets are revealed she uncovers the house’s dark history. I was gripped by the storyline and the earthbound spirit that needed Elsbeth’s help. This was a well written story with great characters and a unique storyline that kept my attention until the final pages.

Secrets of the Moon is a YA paranormal story full of drama, danger, suspense, action, secrets, lies, romance, and werewolves. The storyline is exquisitely written with vivid scene descriptions that pull you in and fully immerse you into the story. The characters are real, raw, multi-faceted, and intriguing. From the first few pages I became completely engrossed with the story and it kept my attention until the end. The story starts off with Marjorie who has been in a car accident that left her, and her friends severely injured. Thirteen months later she is still feeling guilt over the accident but has forged forward which is a testament to her strength and resilience. When Kyran arrives in town Marjorie is attracted to him, but his constant mood swings and broody attitude has her wondering if he is mutually interested in her. Kyran knows Marjorie is his mate but is unable to pursue her due to a genetic defect. He does feel the need to protect her from the threat and imminent danger that she is in. Can these two ever have a future together? A great read that leaves me anxious to read the next book.

This is book three to The Olympic Peninsula series and even though you COULD read this without reading the others (the author does a wonderful job at explaining who everyone is and giving little tidbits to let you know what happened in the previous books), I personally would just recommend that you read them all. You don’t have to, like I said the author is wonderful, but I would. Plus once you read one you will want to read the others to learn about these wonderful characters and their somewhat odd stories/lives. In this book you read David and Maddie’s story. David returns to the family for his sister Teresa’s wedding (her book is number 2). It’s odd that he just shows up out of the blue and the rest of the family can’t quite get a read on him. He’s been a surgeon in Africa for the last four years, but he doesn’t want to discuss it. He also doesn’t want to talk about his fiancée who’s coming to visit around the holidays. Weird right? But they’re not the only guests visiting the family. Maddie who is a serious actress is also staying at the O’Connell Compound and she has a leading role at the local theater! Unfortunately her co-star is Kilo, who’s the local yoga instructor, Teresa’s ex husband, and a huge charmer of the ladies. Even though she is drawn to David, knowing he’s engaged and his life is going another direction Maddie is pulled into Kilo’s web full of charm and excitement. She’s okay with a little theater fling, but it will end when the show does. Right? David wants Maddie, but his life is so complicated right now. He left Africa for a reason, he is busy appeasing his fiancée, and he also needs to figure out some custody issues as well. These two would have been perfect for each other. Time just isn’t on their side. Their lives are not on the same path right now. If only they could hit a reset button and meet each other at another time in their lives. Such a great series!! I can’t wait to finish it!! Grab this set today if you love contemporary romances with twists and turns and even a little magic!!

This set is getting better and better with each book! The characters, what they go through, and their cute little Compound life is so great! In this book you get to meet Jake again and get to know him a bit better. He’s been the CEO of the family business and has had a small feud with his twin brother Joe for quite some time. Him showing up out of the blue for David’s wedding throws the whole family for a loop. What’s he doing here? Why now? He resigned as CEO?! What the heck. Who is this brother who has done a complete 180 with his life?? Jake seems more laid back. He rents a random weird Victorian mansion. He’s even writing books! One of which they want to make a movie!! The family once again has a hard time reading their brother. What happened to him? Who is this new man and what happened to their brother? He seems a bit haunted but much more easy going then before. While he’s rattling around Port Townsend he finds a woman that he can’t keep out of his thoughts. She’s beautiful and she doesn’t even know it. He’d love to give her everything in the world, but she’s married. Just his luck! What will he do with the ghost that haunts him and the woman he wants but can’t have?? Man of man! Such a great book. I can’t wait to read the next one!! You have to give this set a shot!! Contemporary Romance with a few twists you won’t see coming! Such a super cute family with lots of ups and downs.

The Complete Echo Series is a contemporary romance boxed set that contains all four books in the Echo Series. Each story centers around different characters that will certainly take you on a rollercoaster ride of emotions as each couple must work through issues like time, distance, separation, jealousy, insecurity, self-discovery, and drama. In Book One, Echoing Hearts, we meet Rae and Dean who come together unexpectedly when Rae is asked to interview a home designer. When Rae meets Dean, the homeowner, is rude, obnoxious, and arrogant. After being left at the alter Dean is feeling jaded and the last thing, he is looking for is a relationship. He is civil to Rae at first but eventually becomes attracted to her wit and feisty attitude. This is an enemies to lovers story with drama, angst, chemistry, and finding love unexpectedly. In Book Two, His Forever Muse, we are introduced to Brandon and Calliope who come together unexpectedly after fifteen years apart. Brandon is a gifted artist and musician who has lost his inspiration and creativity. He needs to find something that will spark his creativity, and this is where Calliope re-enters his life. They both find themselves in Morocco at the same time but for very different reasons. When they run into one another all the feelings Brandon once had for Calliope are rekindled. Calliope, or Callie, has had a rough past with a man who abused her and fled from him to start a new life. When she runs into her childhood friend Brandon old feelings resurface but she must decide if she trusts him enough to share her painful past with him. This was a second chance, friends to lovers romance with drama, passion, and overcoming a painful past. In Book Three, Unexpected Entanglement, we meet Chris and Rowan who are faking being engaged to one another. Rowan is planning the perfect wedding for her cousin at an inn that her family owns. Despite the wedding being only two weeks away Rowan is determined that things like the inn needing repairs and staff will not stop the wedding from taking place. Chris is a wealthy and successful hotelier who finds himself somewhat reluctantly helping Rowan plan her cousin’s wedding. The witty banter between them gives the story a lively twist. The passion between Rowan and Chris is undeniable and might just get the two sidetracked from planning the perfect wedding. This was a fake to real romance with drama, tension, suspense, passion, family, and humor. In Book Four, Dangerous Rhythm, we meet Lina and Curtis who are thrown together when Lina is hired to protect Curtis from someone who wants him dead. Lina must get over the less than perfect past her and Curtis have together and focus on keeping him safe from those who want to harm him. Lina is very serious by nature while Curtis is more easygoing so the two balance one another out. Lina has a hard time keeping her mind focused on her job because she is distracted by Curtis’ charm. This book had a reversal protector role, action, danger, suspense, angst, tension, and passion. This was a great boxed set with fantastic characters, great storylines, and twists and turns. Each story had another story that was simultaneously weaved into it which added an extra dimension to the overall theme of the book. Although the theme of each book was romance there were underlying themes of angst, danger, suspense, drama, mystery, and intrigue that kept me riveted. The stories contained strong characters who were relatable and engaging.

This book was a great read. I love that the main characters had issues in their pasts and did what they could to move past them by setting boundaries. Emma will only have one night stands because of her past and when she meets Liam, that is about to change. They both agree to certain rules and boundaries but they quickly find that their hearts are moving faster than they would like. There are some steamy scenes in this book that help elevate the story line. I find that these scenes aren’t throughout the book but in very strategic places and that is what helps elevate the story line. There are some surprised in the book that I didn’t see coming and that made it even better. I love the simplicity of them falling in love. It kept me turning the pages and hating that it ended. There is character development throughout the book that doesn’t smack you in the face. It is at a pace that matches the story line. It isn’t like poof the characters are different then before. There is also struggle with the growth which makes the characters more relatable. With change comes some push back and that is what happens in this book. It is a gentle tug of war within themselves that grows into an amazing story. I highly suggest reading this. Reviewed by: @bbohls

Make Me Burn is Book Nine in the North Fork Series. Although this book is part of a series it can easily be read as a standalone. Logan Bennett has been attracted to his best friend’s little sister, Jinx, for as long as he can remember but she was always off limits to him. Jinx has had a massive crush on Logan since she was a teenager but could never act on her crush because he was friends with her big brother. When her brother and Logan had a falling out the three went their separate ways. When Logan returns home for a friend’s wedding he runs into Jinx and the feelings come rushing back for both. Logan is determined to be with Jinx now that her brother is out of the way and the bro code no longer applies. Jinx has only ever wanted a relationship full of desire, passion, and intense love and knows that Logan is the only man she can have that with. The passion and chemistry between Logan and Jinx is sizzling hot but life and past grudges with Jinx’s brother get in the way. Is there any hope of Logan and Jinx having a relationship? This book had second chance romance, passion, angst, drama, grudges, betrayal, and sizzling chemistry.

This is a the first time I have read anything by this author. I have to say that she knows how to capture an audience. Elsabeth inherits an island from her estranged aunt Lorraine. She isn ‘t sure if she should go because her father is very ill and could pass away at any moment. Her father insist that she goes and live her life. So she packs up her belongings and moved to this island in Guernery. She hoped to leave the drama of her life back in Texas. Do you believe in angels? This story might push you into thinking that they do exist. Especially when you stop and think about all the things that could have happened to you but didn’t. I promise that you will love this story just as much as I do.

This is he 9th book in the series but have no fear, if you just grabbed this one; you can read it without reading the others first. I alway recommend reading the other books in the series because you can get more intricate details of the characters and the story line. This book hooked me in from the beginning and it kept me entranced through the end. I love a missed connection type of love story. The main characters met before and due to circumstances they couldn’t explore that spark that they both felt. Jump forward some time and they have another meet cute. Guys, this story just melts you into the chair and allows you to just sink your teeth into you lip and read. I could not be disturbed by anything while reading this. Food – I just walked while reading to get something to feed my face. lol. I could not put this book down as the growth with the characters developed so did my grip on the book. It was a quick read for me because of that reason. I feel like this book was very well written and written in such a way that you don’t even realize that you got to the end of the book by the time you finish it. I highly suggest reading this book and the whole series. You will not be disappointed. Reviewed by: @bbohls View all my reviews

This is the first book in the series ‘Spicetopia’, technically, they can be read in any order as they are individual storylines with interconnecting parts. But I recommend starting with this book and reading in order.
Jolie and Cy have an immediate connection. To bad each other them are hiding major parts of themselves. Cy, the millionaire and son of parents who own the family theme park ‘Sweetopia’ and Jolie, the single mom that is half family theme park Queen and other half dominatrix.
Cy has his inheritance on the line and agrees to go ‘undercover’ in the theme park to figure out who the rebel employees are and their plans to go public with horrible information about the Sweet Family, specifically Cy mother and father. Cy is originally under the impression the rebels are lying and just stirring up trouble. He doesn’t expect to end up on their side nor to fall in love with the beautiful Queen, Jolie.
Jolie, has been under extreme pressure taking care of his chronically ill son as well as juggling two equally demanding jobs. The Sweets, have horrible health insurance and want a robot more than an employee. She wants to put their ignorance on the live news for everyone to see, but she didn’t imagine she’d ever find a wonderful man that makes her feel alive.
They both have secrets and when those secrets are exposed, they are both left wondering what to do next. Will Jolie be able to take care of her family while also enjoying her own life? Will she forgive a man who utterly lied about everything, even his name? Will Cy, chose his blood family or the woman he has fell in love with? How important is money to him?
I absolutely loved this adventure with these two and would recommend this book & series to anyone who wants a spicey romance without the storyline being too heavy.

No Rest for the Wicked is Book One in the Life is Hell Series. It is a polyamorous paranormal romance with action, drama, suspense, mystery, danger, passion, magic, demons, demon hunters, witches, and shifters. The story centers around the MC Delilah, a demon who has been hunting adulterers for as long as she can remember. She used to enjoy it but now she finds herself bored and in need of a break. Delilah decides she needs a holiday, so she drives until she finds a quaint little town called Juniper Lake. She figures this is just the quiet little place where she can relax and recharge but instead finds herself wrapped up in a mystery that will put her to the ultimate test. This was a fast-paced and intriguing read full of twists and turns that kept me hooked until the very end. This is one of my favorite authors because of her unique writing style and way of weaving a story that never fails to deliver. She always has interesting characters that fascinate me with their quirks and multi faceted personalities. Delilah is yet another of those characters that I loved because of her feisty attitude, strength, determination, and witty sense of humor. Oh, and let’s not forget the amazing cover on this book, wow! Anxious to read the next book in this series!

Family Ties Family Lies is a gripping tale of one woman’s quest to find the truth about her family. It is set in a small town that seems quaint on the surface, but appearances can be deceiving. Under the seemingly innocent appearance is where small-town drama and gossip runs rampant. Rose is a photojournalist who has just suffered from a fall that left both her and her camera wounded. As she is trying to recoup, she receives an urgent call about her mom that has her rushing back to her hometown. While caring for her ailing mother Rose is looking through old family mementos in the attic when she stumbles onto a photo that sends her on a quest to uncover the truth behind it. Despite those around her telling her that it is best to leave the past alone because it cannot be changed Rose continues to dig for the truth. As Rose digs into her family’s past, she slowly starts to unravel some secrets that may have been better left buried. A heart wrenching tale full of angst, drama, secrets, lies, family ties, and self discovery.

Hood of Sedna (Stevie Capot Chronicles Book 1) by Mina Skye- 4 out of 5 stars
This was a great first book to this new steampunk series. The author wrote a very unique storyline full of memory lose and survival. Stevie is a little baddie with a mouth to match and I am all for it! I can not wait for more to come out in this series. I highly recommend this book.

Hood of Sedna is Book One in the Stevie Capot Chronicles. It is a fae steampunk book full of mystery, action, danger, suspense, love, loss, betrayal, secrets, hope, romance, paranormal elements, shifters, magic, and reincarnation. The story centers around the MC Stevie Capot who is the reincarnation of half witch, half fae, Princess Stephanie Corin. When she was murdered by her fiancé, her uncle turned her body into seeds that turned into a maple tree. When she wakes up a century later and emerges from the tree, she does not know who she is and starts a new life as Stevie Capot. Stevie has not had an easy life and chooses to not remain in one place for too long for fear others will notice that she does not seem to age. She ends up in Sedna, Washington where the secrets and people of her mysterious past start to resurface. A great book with an interesting concept that sucked me in from the first pages. I love the idea of reincarnation and was immediately drawn to the character of Stevie because she is smart, strong, feisty, and tough as nails. I found myself rooting for her to unravel her past and get the happily ever after she deserved. Looking forward to the next book in this amazing series!

This is the first book in the series and it’s a little of a rough start. I am giving this book 4.5/5 stars because it has amazing potential and I feel that the books to follow in this series will definitely be more polished. It has good bones just needs little work in the characters. Ugh that isn’t even fully correct. The characters are good, they are complex but a little too complex for the story line. I felt like they jumped all over the place or said one thing and then did another. Just when I started to mesh with them something would happen that wouldn’t be in line with what I thought should happen. So this doesn’t mean that they aren’t good or written well. It just means I had a difficult time finding that gel that makes one connect with the characters. The book it self is written well, it is definitely an enemies to lovers trope. It has romance and love but in a very clean almost sweet package. You do feel the emotions of the characters. This is why its between 4.5 and 5 stars for me. It has everything to be a star booklet I didn’t gel with the characters throughout the book which made it hard for me to pay attention or not get sidetracked by something else, which is why it would be a 4.5 star review. Like I said earlier, I feel that the following books in this series are going to be amazing and I am looking forward to reading them. It was a really cute break from what I normally read and the story line is really, really good. Reviewed by: @bbohls

Detective Dylan and the Hunt for Home Plate by MJ Murray- 5 out of 5 stars
Dylan and his sister are on another adventure. The two of them, along with their loyal dog set out to try and solve the newest mystery. This is the second book in the youth sleuths series and I have to say, they are a perfect introduction into the mystery genre.

A Girl, Stuck (A Novel) by Kelly Elizabeth Huston- 5 out of 5 stars
This book had great character development with plenty of twists and turns that kept drawing me in. The cover art doesn’t draw much to the eye but the authors words breathe life into the pages. Although this book is the third in the series, it can be as a standalone without feeling as if you have missed something important. I can not wait to read more from this author. I highly recommend this book.

Detective Dylan and the Hunt for Home Plate is the second book in the Youth Sleuths Chapter Book Series. Dylan and his little sister Emily are off on another adventure as they set out to solve their latest mystery. When they arrive at the baseball field, they discover that someone stole all the bases. Dylan, Emily, and their trusty sidekick dog, Theodore set off with Dylan’s detective kit to find out where the bases went and who stole them. As they follow the trail of clues and interview potential suspects, they learn about problem solving, family, friendship, and teamwork. This was an entertaining and engaging book that is full of mystery, adventure, playground pirates, and fun. The characters are endearing and the bond between Dylan and his little sister Emily is heartwarming. As a bonus, the author includes a list of words and exercises at the end of the book.

This is the second book of Ashton and Zach. This book did not disappoint. I will start off by saying that you really need to read the first book to fully comprehend what is happening but if you didn’t, you would be able to understand everything that is going on. It just might take a little while to piece things together. This book is not short of steam and passion. It will have you blushing while reading this. It was a very quick read and even though I felt that it could go on forever, it packs a big punch for the storyline in a short amount of time. You will be turning pages as quickly as possible to see what happens next. There is the element of surprise with this book when the past comes lurking forward. There isn’t as many scenes in this book as I thought there would be with it being somewhat centered around a BDSM club. The said, it doesn’t mean that the steam between the characters isn’t there. This is the continuation of their relationship and them learning to really trust each other. They already have trust inside the club but they now need to really trust each other on the outside. This is such a good read and it won’t take you long at all. Again, I suggest that you read the first one because it is a continuation of the characters but you can pick it up quickly if you didn’t. Also, if you didn’t and read this one first, go back and read the first book in this series, it will help fill some gaps that you might experience. Reviewed by: @bbohls View all my reviews

Give Us Bad Boys and Billionaires is a collection of twelve short erotica romance stories and novellas that are full of passion, romance, and desire. The collection includes a wide range of topics including second chance romance, age gap romance, friends to lovers, forbidden romance, best friend’s dad, bad boys, menage, and paranormal. The author does not hold back in these sexy stories that will surely have you jumping straight into a cold shower afterwards. I loved the story “Under My BFF’s Daddy” which features Cassandra who has just suffered from a horrible breakup. Her best friend Stacey takes her to her dad’s villa in the hopes of forgetting about the breakup. Stacey’s dad is there and finds himself attracted to Cassandra even though he knows it is wrong. Before long the chemistry and passion sizzles between them and the attraction becomes undeniable. In the story “Falling For My Son’s Best Friend” Elizabeth finds herself married to a man who is unloving and is always away from home for work. She decides to go visit her friend, who is the mom to her son’s best friend, Hugh. Elizabeth finds herself attracted to Hugh when she sees him for the mature young man that he has turned into. The chemistry sizzles between Elizabeth and Hugh and she must decide whether to succumb to the temptation and her desires. The stories are well written with a cast of diverse characters put in situations that have them testing their strength and will power. Each character is put through a journey of self-discovery as they uncover hidden desires and explore their own sexuality.
