“Hello Miss with many names, I am known as Verun. My sisters will help you all we can.” The voice was calming yet Scully was very hesitant to turn around to face the voice. A quick check of her sensors told her that this voice was alien. Again, the voice spoke, “We will not harm you.”
Scully dug down deep inside her being to find the courage to turn and slowly she did so. She stood very still and took in the visage floating in front of her. “Call me Verun. Your sailors helped me learn your language before they succumbed just as your friends have. I can read their minds if you need to ask them questions. You may ask me anything as well.” The voice was calm, now quieter as if not to disturb others.
In a voice mimicking Verun’s Scully asked, “What world are you from? I have met several others not from here but never anyone like you.”

 

Sarge, Goin Deep by Stuart Ledwith brings us more adventures with Sarge (and Co) joining characters we have met previously in ‘Mission 3047’ and ‘Sarge’- as well as meeting a host of new characters who help deliver this intriguing read.
This is a unique story woven around a lot of interesting elements- intriguing characters, covert ops, top secret agencies, military missions/rescue mission, UFO’s, drama, action, investigation, mystery, suspense, aliens/alien encounters, and more.
This is an adventure we won’t soon forget.
As with his other unique offerings, I appreciate the amount of blood, sweat, and ‘soul’ that the author puts into his writing, as well as his unique take on things.

In this day and age with UFOs and UAPs being seen by military personnel and civilians alike, it seemed only appropriate that I include them in my latest book, “Sarge.” ETs, extraterrestrial beings, have been a part of my life for many years now. I have talked with many and have taken pictures of UFOs with my phone’s camera. You can see three of them on the cover. I was lucky, I guess, that the soul of a dear friend of mine cared to share her deepest fantasies with me and gave me permission to write them as I saw fit. It was a nice fit since I love to write soul’s stories. All of my books include the story of at least one soul. My lifetime work has been to help souls heal and arrive at the destination here that most fit them and their particular gifts thus helping their human hosts heal as well. Alchemy of Glass is a slow burn into the depths of Gaelan’s immortality and his urge to end the “curse” after over half a millennium of life. Dual timelines of his past that changed his chromosomes, unbeknownst to him, until he meets Anne-in present time, a Genealogist. Conan Doyle, Nicola Tesla and Edison also make appearances, which comes together throughout the book of their importance to Gaelan.

Gaelan creates a “bauble” aka Ruperts Drop that is imbued with magic to transport the holder into the future. The bauble is best used within the caves the monks created centuries ago, a room of mirrors set to the Fibonacci sequence.

The future is bleak, it is up to Anne to make the correct decision to save the fate of humanity after a multibillionaire seeks her help to heal his ailing child with stolen tissue from the ” Miracle Man”- Gaelan!

The Veil by Karli Rush was really good! When it started off, I actually forgot for a second what genre of book I was reading and was a little thrown when the invasion started! So, that was a fun little twist. The world building was really cool, the characters were really well written and very relatable. The ending was not what I expected to be. Still a HEA, but not in the way I was expecting. Really enjoyed and would def recommend.

This is the fourth book in the Tally and the Angel series, and I think it is my favorite so far! I have enjoyed reading all of these with both of my kiddos who are 8 and 12 years old. While you can probably read this as a standalone, I believe reading the full series will give you a much better experience for sure! We are kind of nerds for Greek Mythology in this household which made this installment all the more exciting. Tally goes on quite the adventure with plenty of action. The flow of the story is absolutely wonderful, and everything unfolds at a rather natural pace. I truly enjoyed everything we learned about the Greek culture throughout this story. I highly recommend this intriguing book for you and the kids in your life!

Sands of Time is the fourth book in the Tally and the Angel series.This story is easy to read and is aimed at young readers around age 11 to 13. It is a good mix of paranormal and fantasy with mythological beings, action, mystery, and drama. My kids enjoy all the mythological stories and really like this book.

This book is a great twist on Greek mythology. Youth will immediately fall in love with tally. The unique relationship between her and her angel is a great metaphor. Get ready for plenty of action and adventure along with an HEA. Can’t wait to read more from this author.

Tally and her dad are on holiday in Greece, they are on a small island for a few weeks and are taking advantage of the sun, sea and sand. Tally is still wearing her angel pendant and her angel is always with her too, but she feels lonely and so wishes to be able to speak greek so that she could join in with the other kids her age. When she decides to go for a swim, she meets a boy called Theo, he is about her age and suggests swimming together, when they stop for a rest, this is where they start to talk, but the sea becomes a little rough and so they go back to the beach where she is introduced to some of his friends.

As the days pass, Tally spends time with Theo and his friends learning new skills and having lots of fun, but something strange keeps happening and Tally cannot explain it, until Theo does and what he says is shocking! The more she hears, the more Tally is desperate to trust Theo, but her angel keeps warning her against it, especially when myths and fables become intertwined with Theo’s plan.

Tally is then confronted with the hardest choice of her life and it leaves her conflicted, especially when she is faced with all the facts, but which way will her heart swing, towards Theo and his master plan, or towards her angel who has never led her astray? This is a thrilling race towards a fork in the road where history, myth, reality, emotions and trust are thrown into a maelstrom of a storm, which you will have to weather with Tally to find out what she ultimately decides.

Tally and the Angel: The Sands of Time is Book Four in the Tally and the Angel Series. This fun series is intended for middle school kids between the ages of 11 to 13 years of age. In their newest adventure Tally and her sidekick angel, Jophiel, are in the Greek Islands. Now that Tally is a bit older, she is starting to notice boys and one boy named Theo has caught her attention. Things are not as they seem on the surface and although Tally has always followed her angel’s advice and heeded his warnings this time those warnings may fall on deaf ears. The ensuing adventure is full of mystery, danger, drama, action, with Greek Mythology mixed in. A great read for all ages with engaging characters and a wonderfully written story.

I am so happy to see another Tally installment. In this book Tally and her dad are on a Greek island. I have a feeling that most people are interested in Greek Mythology, as am I, so that immediately pulled me in. I loved learning about the history and culture right along with her. In this book Tally faces many challenges and tough decisions. She gets to experience so much with her dad, making many new friends everywhere she goes. Here in Greece, she gets to learn to scuba dive, enjoy the sea, and discover ancient temples. Tally and her Angel Jophiel always have an adventure and reading as and adult its magical, I can’t imagine how wonderful it would be for kids to read and what they can learn and dream up.

I picked up this book because I love Percy Jackson and there was Greek mythology involved. It is also a modern day tale mixed with mythology, this book is fourth in the series. But I was able to read it as a standalone. The protagonist Tally inherits a mysterious necklace , which houses an Angel, Jophiel. Together they embark on adventures around the world, in this case, the Greek islands and the ancient temples. There are stories inspired from the Greek myths, Greek customs and food. The story has suspense, drama, friendship, family and character building.
This is a perfect book for middle schoolers. I would recommend it for anyone. I am planning to pick up more from this series.

This is the thrilling fourth adventure novel in the Tally and the Angel series. There is enough back story woven throughout so that’s this book stands alone well. The adventure and drama in the story is appropriate for the 8-14 she group. The Greek mythology in this story is entertaining and relatable for kids!

I’m discovering this author for the first time. My oldest little one and I read this book together. It took us a couple days because we had to take breaks, but not because we wanted to. Lol we didn’t want to stop. It was such a good read. I personally love Greek mythology so now I can share that with my little one with a fun age appropriate book🥰. We enjoyed this action filled adventure that Tally went on. He said since we started on the fourth book he wanted to go back and read the others and I agree. They will be going into our tbr pile.i highly recommend reading this, especially if you enjoy reading books like Percy Jackson.

This is the fourth book in the Tally and the Angel series. These books are written for middle school aged children and are great adventures which are entertaining for children of all ages. I love the authors attention to detail and I’m this book we focus on Greek Mythology.
We are back with Tally and her angel who we meet in book one and since then we have been on several adventures and this one is no exception.
Tally’s angel is there to guide and protect her from danger and is a sense of comfort to Tally since the passing of her mum.
Tally has always listened to her angels warnings and cautions however things maybe changing. As Tally is getting older she starts to notice boys and when she is visiting the greek islands with her father one boy called Theo catches her eye. However things aren’t what they seem and what unfolds is an adventure that has danger, excitement, mythological beings and an important decision which could change the relationship between Tally and her angel for good.
I do highly recommend these books and my son loves me reading them to him. I would recommend reading them in order so you can get a complete understanding of Tally and her angel and how they came to be together and the adventures they have already been on together.

I absolutely loved the other books and couldn’t wait to for this one. I have to say it did not disappoint either. It was another engaging story of tally and her little guardian angle that helps her along the way. tally is a very strong-willed girl that kind of does her own thing and seem to always get in a little trouble but ends up winning in the end. And once again this story did the same. This book was very well written and developed with the characters that it making you really feel like you know them personally. This one sweeps us off to Greece and learning about today’s culture, but also, it has a little Greek Mythology twisted into this story. this book was very intriguing, and I couldn’t put it down like the other ones, highly recommend thou you start at the beginning.

I accidentally grabbed the 4th book instead of the first book, but I decided to go ahead and read it anyways and see how it turned out. I am always a fan of stories about Greek mythology and this story did not disappoint at all! It’s a great story and from what I can see a really great series, I am looking forward to going and checking out the previous books. I am looking forward to getting to see more of the relationship built between Tally and her Angel Jophiel. This story was well written and had the Greek mythology woven into the modern day world. This is an easy to read story that I think middle schoolers especially, but readers of all ages can and will enjoy. There is humor, adventure, mystery, and mythology all rolled into a very descriptive story that paints a vivid picture that makes you feel like you really are right there in the story. I can’t wait to check out the rest of the series!

Another great adventure with Tally and her angel! This time Tally and her dad are vacationing in Greece. She gets to experience the Greek culture and food and make new friends. I loved that the Greek Gods were a major part of this book. Hard decisions are made in this adventure and overall I love the lessons that Tally learns at the end. This story can be enjoyed by all ages but is meant for those in middle school. I love that you can learn about different parts in the world with this series! I cannot wait for their next adventure in Africa.

Another great adventure awaits for Tally and her Angel Jophiel. This is such a fun series to read and I highly recommend reading them in order to better understand who the players are. This time, Tally is travelling to the Greek Islands. There she will encounter lots of adventure, mystery, action, challenges, and more!

Tally kinda reminds me of a female Indiana Jones in a way. She loves adventure and usually finds some pretty intricate mystery that involves solving a puzzle or two along the way. There is some humor infused as well, as Jophiel can be a bit funny at times.

Overall, a great read!

I enjoyed this addition to the series very much. I believe middle grade readers will enjoy it. It is its own unique story while also having Greek mythology through it. Tally meets Theo who has also lost him Mom as Tally has. He believes he has a plan to bring them both back to life. But can it work?

This really is a fantastic series. This author bases her books on a special country with each one. This one is based on Greece with it’s traditions, mythology and fascinating history. Geared to tweens, the story is a fantasy journey full of adventure, drama and fantasy. I love the fact that she has an angel with her for her adventures. I absolutely enjoyed Theo and Artemis. I found the characters were perfect. I was intrigued with the topic around the ocean and diving. The story was so good that I finished it in one sitting. This really is a great book. It really opens up the country and makes you want to dive in and learn more. This is a series that you can read alone or in order. I do recommend that it is read in order so you know what she is referencing in past stories.

This is the fourth book in this series. It happened to be the first book I picked up. I love Greek Mythology and this book came across to read so I figure I would give it a shot. I do think that for the most part, there is enough retelling of the back story so that you are not lost while reading. You can understand what is going on. I do believe it would be better to have read the previous books in my opinion.
With that being said, I really enjoyed this book. It was a perfect middle grade story. I liked it enough to want to read the first three in the series. This time, reading with my 7 year old. I think he would really enjoy this series. If your child is a fan of Greek Mythology, I suggest getting it for them. From what I have read about the other books, they deal with other mythologies.
I love Tally, the main character. I think she was very well written. I love the adventure and drama included in this story. As well as the decisions that Tally has to make and how she handles them. While the story is based in mythology, the feelings are very real and I think kids will relate to them in a way.

While this is the fourth book in a series, it also can be read as a standalone. For fans of the Percy Jackson books, this one is similar and you’ll find yourself drawn into it and enjoying the storyline like I did. I’ll definitely be reading the other books in this series. It’s a great YA read for middle schoolers. Tally and her dad are vacationing in Greece. Tally makes a couple new friends and has an interesting adventure. There were some surprising twists I never thought to imagine! Definitely recommend this book.

What another fantastic addition to an exciting series! This is the fourth book and I would definitely recommend reading the previous three first. It was so nice to revisit with these characters and go with them on another adventure. Tally is such a fun character to read about. I always become invested in everything she does and I love watching as she discovers so much about herself and the world.
This book is probably my favourite of the series so far. I loved the element of Greek myths. It is something I have always been fascinated with and I really enjoyed how the author weaved it into this book. This is a really exciting story which was a pleasure to read. I would highly recommend this whole series.

Tally and the Angel, The Sands of Time by Eleanor Dixon. This is the 5th installment in the Tally and the Angel series and its geared towards middle school age kids. This installment is set in Greece and the writing is so well done that you feel like you are in Greece. Its the continuing story of Tally who after her mother passed she was given a necklace that housed an angel. The angel is named Josphiel and they have been on many adventures together. These adventures are full of mythology and different customs that are celebrated. this book would be perfect for the middle school age child in your life. I do recommend reading them in order to better understand the characters and storyline. Such a fun series.

The Sands of Time is the fourth book in the Tally and the Angel series. This series follows young Tally as she travels the world with her dad following her mum’s death. She has inherited a necklace from her mum, and with it a guardian angel.

I love how each book is like going on holiday to a different place! The Sands of Time is set on a remote Greek island, so we get to explore the island with Tally and Jophiel. There are plenty of details, such as food that she eats and fish she sees in the sea.

Each story also draws on the mythology of the place where Tally is. The Sands of Time features characters from Greek mythology, as well as depicting customs such as reading coffee dregs.

I would recommend reading the series as a whole, beginning with the first book which is set in India. But there is enough of a backstory refresher in this book that you could jump in here, perhaps if you’re a particular fan of Greek mythology-inspired stories or preparing for a trip to Greece.

This book gets five stars from me! I’d recommend the series for confident readers in KS2 and KS3 who like learning about different cultures.

5 Stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Tally is back along with her Angel Jophiel!!! New adventures await in Greece…where Tally and her father are spending time together embracing everything that Greece has to offer. This story brought adventure, drama, danger, myths and decisions that do not come easy. I have really enjoyed every book in the series so far but I have to admit this is my favorite!

Tally is loving the connections she is making with new friends and also learning to scuba. Getting to know the culture and differences….Tally is also brought into a journey that she never did forsee. Having to make a choice that is not easy…..but let the adventure and self discovery begin….

This was a great story and I highly recommend reading this series in order to get to know Tally on each adventure. I am already looking forward to her next adventure!!

The Sands of Time: Greece is the fourth book in the Tally and the Angel series by Eleanor Dixon. This is another fun instalment in this Middle school age children’s series- an urban fantasy with action, adventure, Angels, paranormal elements, mystery, history, drama, danger, travel, a race against time, friendship, family, secrets, challenges, and much more.
We met Tally back in Book One, when she inherited a rather intriguing necklace when her mother died. The necklace came with a life-changing surprise- as it housed an Angel, Jophiel. Together they have embarked on several adventures, all over the world. And in this instalment takes us to Greece where they soon found themselves on another tense adventure.
As this story continues the adventure/s we embarked on with Tally (& co) back in book one, I really recommend reading the other 3 books before starting on this one.
Bring on Book #5- Africa.

Tally is back in another exciting adventure this time set in the Greek islands. We met Tally and her offsider angel Jophiel back in Tally and the Angel book 1 India. They have been on many adventures and great journeys since then. I suggest you start with the first book to understand who the key players are and how they met.
This fun children’s story is easy to read and is aimed at tweens around age 11 to 13. It is a good mix of paranormal and fantasy with mythological beings, plenty of action, mystery, suspense, drama, danger, dire warnings, and challenges, and much more.
Tally is confronted with ancient myths and will need all her strength to make a decision that could change everything.
There is something for anyone to enjoy if you love a good tween adventure story.

“Tally and the Angel: The Sands of Time” is the fourth installment in the Tally and the Angel series, and I’m thrilled to report that it’s just as captivating, if not more so, as its predecessors. Author Eleanor Dixon masterfully weaves together ancient Greek mythology with modern-day adventure, resulting in a thrilling tale that will keep you on the edge of your seat.

The story is full of action, suspense, and mythology. Dixon does an excellent job of bringing ancient myths to life in a way that’s both accessible and captivating. Or customs still around today, like celebrating one’s “name day.” The world-building is rich and immersive, transporting readers to the sun-kissed Greek islands and ancient temples.

The characters are well-developed and relatable, particularly Tally, who is struggling to come to terms with her own identity and purpose. Her relationships with both Theo and her angel are nuanced and complex, making it easy to become invested in their fates.
