This is the 5th book in this series. I would recommend reading the first four books before jumping into this one (like I did.) Miles is a music producer. His wife, Bella, works with him. Together they have two beautiful twins. On top of that, Miles has a supernatural ability to control fire. Pharaoh is one of Miles’ artists that Bella handles. Pharaoh is causing all kinds of trouble for the business as well as lusting after Bella. Together Miles and Bella must figure out how to handle Pharaoh. Opinion Overall the book was good. I enjoyed getting to know the characters and to see how the conflict was going to be resolved. I was taken aback at this resolution. It surprised me completely. This book is well worth the read.

This is an amazing book. From page 1, you are sucked into the magic and do not want to get out. The drama, mystery, suspense and adventure just keep you wanting to know what happens next. The story is well-written and flows from one section to the next with no glitches. The details make you feel like you are a fly on the wall participating. I found the characters to feel very three dimensional and totally relatable. They go through so many challenges yet they prove their love is strong. A very good book that I highly recommend.

This is book 2 of the series and I can say WOW!! It just gets better. There is lots of action. Miles is 9 and in Paris with his parents. There is plenty of action, drama and suspense. Again, a fan of the book due to its ability to keep me engaged with the writing and smooth plot transitions. The characters are again fantastic. So real that I feel like I’m there watching close up. I can’t wait to see what’s coming. This is a 5-book series and I’m hankering to get back to reading more about what’s going to happen. I highly recommend you get out there, fork over the money and give this series a shot. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

It’s coming up on the big day. No lack of drama for Miles and Bella. Can they make it through to their big day? Again, I am engaged by the writing. The plot is as smooth as a river. It really is so pleasant to read books that do not have “chunky” plots. The characters are so relatable and feel like they are people we could meet right off the street. Miles and Bella can get through this. They have come so very far to this point. I highly recommend this book.

Oh my goodness! Miles is now an artist on tour and Bella is his marketing consultant. Can they come together and make this tour work? They have their own set of challenges thrown at them and boy, are they a few doozies. The action and suspense is intense. Grabbed by the hand at page 1 and I didn’t want to put it down. A little steam keeps it hot. This author has a style of writing that is rare anymore. I love authors that can suck you into their story and engage you in such a way that you can visualize the story and feel that you are there. Even more is the fact that it feels that way with every book in the series. This is book 3. I highly recommend you read this one.

This story was a very exciting one. The storyline was energetic and full of mystery and intrigue. It took me a little while to get into the story as I have not read the previous books in the series, but once I got the gist of it, it flowed along pleasantly and cleverly. Full of magical mystery and drama, the characters were on a quest for success but they had a clash of wills and their priorities were not quite in sync with each other. Passion ran soul deep between them, but secrets and danger threatened their happiness.
In the genre of romantic suspense, this was overall a pretty good book. It was well presented, thorough and very engaging, once I understood where their journey was heading. I story I am glad I took the chance on. 4 stars.

A Moore Affair is the fourth book in the Moore Family Saga book series. The story of Miles and Bella continues. I recommend reading the first three books before reading this one. I’m glad to get to know more about Miles and Bella. Love is conquering all with their marriage but it also brings up other questions. How do they navigate the life of a celebrity and still have their own private life? Also, are there secrets that could come back to haunt them? I have really enjoyed this series and this part of the story did not disappoint. I enjoy the twists and turns that the stories bring. The story flows so well and draws me into the story where I do not want to put it down.

Face the Fire is the fifth book in the Moore Family Saga series. Read the first four books before taking this one on. Miles and Bella have created a powerful music business but with power and success comes different challenges. Will the two stay in sync with their goals and priorities? I really enjoyed this part of the story. It is quick-paced and there is a lot going on to keep up with in the story. I like the progression of the story and how the characters are constantly evolving. I am glad I stumbled across this series.

The Fire God Tour is the third book in the series. The story shifts focus from Cade and Lecia to Miles. Miles is now grown and a popular music artist known as “Ari’. I really recommend reading the first two books in the series before diving into this one. This series has kept me intrigued and this third book did not disappoint. I really enjoyed getting to learn more about Miles and being introduced to Bella. I like the energy between Miles and Bella and how it changes as their relationship evolves. I am really curious now to get into the fourth book.

Playing with Fire is the second book in the Moore Family Saga series. I thought the couple of Cade and Lecia had gone through a lot in the first book but there is more for them to encounter. Life on the road is not easy especially when one is a musician and the other the spouse caring for their child. Lecia moves back to the states and gets devastating news about their child. Will Cade be the man she needs? Wow, I enjoyed the first book but this one improved on the first part of the story. I enjoyed the twists that were presented and still enjoyed the main characters. The story is interesting and I’m curious where it will take me next.

Seed on Fire is the first book in the Moore Family Saga series. I’ll be honest the title caught my attention and made me curious about what the story would be about. The story focuses on Kaiden and Alicia a couple with a baby on the way. Though a baby arriving could be a lot for some couples this is only one of the challenges this couple is faced with in the book. I enjoyed the characters and like how there is a multi-generational aspect to the book. There are some tense moments but they only added to the story. I look forward to reading more in this series soon.

This is an excellent read- both as a stand-alone, and as part of a series. Readers learn a bit about the business aspect of the music industry. African-American issues feature prominently in the novel, and the author introduces and educates readers who might be unfamiliar with some of these issues. The characters deal with issues that most people face- balancing work and family life, as well as adult children interacting with their parents. This story has romance, family, unrequited love, and healing.

As the fifth book in the series, I recommend that you read the previous books to get a better understanding of the characters and their back stories as it is a remarkable journey. I am sure you could read it as a standalone, but I can assure you will want to start at the beginning. This is a story about love and family, secrets and lies, mystery and uncertainty. Their happiness is shadowed by doubt, betrayal, obstacles, and forces that wish to tear them apart. There are twists and suspense that keep you turning the pages. Another solid book. Miles I really like this character Lil Pharaoh seems like a big trouble maker always causing a scene. I liked the elements of paranormal and magic ascpet atr really well demonstrated in this book. You can tell resreach has been done.

This is the 5th book in this paranormal romance series, although each can be read as a standalone. I had previously read the 3rd book in this series although I was unaware of this when I started reading, only to realise that I had read about these characters before. I really enjoyed reading about Miles (Ari) and Bella again. Things have moved on a great deal since I last read about them and they are now the proud parents of twins who also have the same unusual power that their father has. This book mainly revolves around their professional relationship with rap singer Pharoah, who in turn causes some conflict within their marriage. I was not a fan of Pharoah although I enjoyed reading about him and the troubles that he caused. He certainly was an entertaining character. The author does a great job of writing an entertaining story that keeps the reader engaged, with a few twists and turns thrown in that I definitely didn’t see coming. I really enjoyed this book and would definitely recommend it to others.

Well, it’s been an adventure with this series. Miles and Bella have a few more adventures in this, book 5 of the series. The twins have been born. They are doing well with their music business. Haunting and tragic mishaps happen. Mysteries abound, adventure happens and tragedy occurs. Will Miles and Bella survive? Will their love be enough to overcome everything? This book gripped me and had me on an emotional roller coaster. Holy smokes, I’m not quite ready for it to be over. It’s one of my favorite series. I truly recommend this series to any suspense lovers. Give it a shot. Surprised me around many corners. Thank you, author, for a wonderful book adventure. I hope to read more of your books.

This was my first time reading anything by this gifted author, I am honesty quite hooked. The characters, the overall story, there was so much I loved, I would probably be writing a long time if I put all my feelings into words haha. I loved the flow, the story itself was a mystery with its own level of suspense! I will defiantly be reading the other books in the series by this author, they truly have amazed my mind in a good way!
I always have beena big fan of paranormal. This one struck my interest though on a new level. It was not just paranormal mixed with fantasy. I personally loved how the story with Miles and his paranormal ability with fire. I did not expect that at first glance. It made him a interesting character from the start. What really added to his make of being interest was his personality though. We all have our dark side right/ how dark is that side really to achieve what we want most in life? Bella was wonderful as well. She was very family orientated which I loved. I loved how she was career driven, and yet always made time for her husband and her kids. Put the whole family together and I will say I loved how supportive they all were of one another, strong family, loved that aspect! The characters were written very well and the story was very engaging, and I could not put this one down, as said I will be reading the prior books for sure!
The story itself really kept me hooked as well! That would be the work of this wonderful author, they knew how to keep the story flowing at a good pace, not too quick and certainly not to slow. They kept the reader as myself interested and wanting to know more of what would happen and what could happen next. I was in a lot of suspense and edge of my seat as I read, the book was a trill ride for me and I honestly could not get enough! Loved this book and its a must read for sure with no doubt!
As have said, this was a gripping amazing read. I loved the author and they gave gained a new stalker now haha. I loved this book and I think the rest of the series prior will be just as amazing! I do highly recommend this author and this book, as well as this series, wonderful on all ends, not ones to be passed up and that’s a fact. Highly recommend, this is something you truly will enjoy to your heart’s content!

This is an author that I have enjoyed reading from the first book I have picked up from her. Coupled with her writing skills and her attention to details make her stories hard to put down and entertaining to read. This book is no different. This is a paranormal romance story that is full of fantasy and magic. I enjoyed being pulled into the story by the characters who brought the story to life on each page. This is a fast paced story about love and betrayal. It brings suspense and twists and turns that you don’t want to miss. Miles and Bella are about to find out what the price is to success as they put not only themselves in danger but those they love as well. This is a really great story that you don’t want to miss. I highly recommend this book.

This was a lovely short sweet read. Bella and Miles are trying to find a balance between private life and outside life. A balance that many find hard to achieve. I would highly recommend reading this series in order. I adore Bella she is such an assessment of the series.

Cade job is supporting his family but when people are trying to get between you and your wife it can hurt your relationship right. We divide back into this couples lives once again. This book is an account of what any African American family may have, and likely did, face through the years. Through the use of family letters, the reader has a brief understanding of how things have changed and improved from generations ago. The book was impactful but also a quick read because I didn’t want to put it down. I felt like I had a brief glimpse into a family’s personal history during troubling times. Ultimately this book shows the progress we’ve made, which does not negate what still needs to come.

I loved the way the author wove the stories of U.S. black history into personal journal entries through generations of a family. The book included historic moments and public figures, and offered several events I hadn’t previously learned about. The storytelling manner made the factual information easier to digest and feel less like a history lesson. I found it interesting to read about the events from the perspective of both children and adults, which helped really weave an intricate tapestry full of emotion. Having read gruesome accounts of slavery, I appreciated gaining a bit more knowledge of modern black history and how the weight of the past has been carried through generations.

This book is an amazing retelling of important moments in American history from a personal stand point. I felt my heart ache and pull as I was reading the realities of some of these people. The grandiose these of slavery could not have been described in a better way than through these accounts/stories from each person. It made one understand and feel their personal experiences that you just dont get from reading a history book.

Amari is a young Africa- American man dealing with the grief of losing his beloved grandmother two weeks before, he misses the stories of her life that she used to tell and now regrets that he didn’t listen to her more and pay more attention, he can still see her in his minds eye and misses her so much so that when he agrees to help to pack his grandmothers belongings up, he is dreading it, but he goes anyway and as he is folding her clothes, he hears someone shout that they found a box of letters, some of them are really old and some of them are more modern. It turns out that these letters are stories, passed down from generation to generation, stories of times past told by the person who lived them, they are the stories which his grandma told them, so when he asks to keep them, everyone readily agrees and Amari cannot wait to read them and learn more.
The first letter is from a woman called Sallie who was a slave on a plantation in Tennessee in the 1860’s, it tells of her first memories and the experiences she went through as a slave, as well as the transition between that and becoming citizens when slavery is abolished. The next story and from is her daughter Isabelle who talks about life in Chicago in the 1920’s where segregation between the races still exists and the troubles it caused between them, as well as the societal upheaval as people fought for equality. Lisa is the next generation of this family to speak and she continues with the fight against segregation and inequality in New York, specifically focussing on school life from the point of view of a child of 5 years old and the rise of Martin Luther King and how his speeches inspired those who lived at the time. Jessica is next with her experiences at college in Atlanta 1990 and how multicultural and interesting life was talking to people from around the world and learning about their lives at the same time as experiencing the changes in her own and finally it is the turn of Amari and their feelings around the events of modern day America.
This collection of stories tells the story of African-Americans from their point of view, not those of the history books, it is emotional, compelling and interesting throughout and inspires you to think about life and how much it has both changed and remained the same, it is thought provoking and well worth a read.

This was a really beautifully written book about one person’s family history. I love how the history was written in letters given down the generations.
It follows a family’s history from being slaves to white people to the first black president. The story is interesting and really opens your eyes to what people had to go through in the past when things were all against them just because of the colour of their skin. It was a captivating read that I really enjoyed.
