By Meghan O’Flynn
The books in this series are emotional, dark, twisted, and will get in your head, and this one is just like that as well. This book is so exceptionally well written that it stayed with me long after I put it down. I thought I knew what was going to happen and I find out that I was completely wrong and then I was thrust into another twist. This book had me completely captivated throughout the entire read. This story is not for the weak at heart, because it takes you into an intense, dark and twisted world. I suggest you read these books in order to have more background and it will enhance your reading experience. I also think that you won’t want to miss any of the stories in this series because they are all exceptional reads. I highly recommend this book you won’t want to miss out.

Redemption by Meghan O’Flynn An Ash Park Novel Book 5

5-Star Novel

Out of all of the Ash Park Novels this one by far is my favorite. Hannah Montgomery disappeared in the first book after escaping death from the Looking Glass Killer. She is discovered by Detective Petrosky and Detective Scott. She shares that she may have info on the person who killed Petrosky’s daughter so instead of hauling her in for questioning he provided her a safe place to stay.

  1. I loved Hannah being back in this novel. I really liked her character in the first book. The author never ceases to amaze me with the detail in her books. I also like that Petrosky seemed to be remade into a better man with this novel. This novel was also an emotional one but very enjoyable. I thought I had it figured out toward the end but there was a change I did not foresee.View all my reviews

I’ve taken 2 days to write this review as I’m still trying to process all that happened. Ive become attached to all these characters through this series and the events in this book pushed me to the brink of throwing in the towel.
I was not prepared for the emotional roller coaster this took me on. The story had me hooked and I had to finish and to say the ending leaves me wanting to pick up book 5 to see what happens would be an understatement, I NEED to read it!
I can’t give away anything that happens here as it is a must read as you go.

Hidden (An Ash Park Novel Series book #4) by Meghan O’Flynn – Review by Ashleigh Harrington

Hidden (Ash Park, #4)Hidden by Meghan O’Flynn
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Hidden by Meghan O’Flynn is the forth book in her Ash Park Series and this one kicks the series into a whole new level of sinister. Hidden takes place two years after Repressed and an old foe has resurfaced. When they fall into Petrosky and Morrison’s radar, but the stress of addiction, stress and guilt is weighing heavily on Petrosky. Could this be the end of the line for him? Will Morrison be able to save her partner or will this be Petrosky’s last case? This twists and turns in this book, and this series as well, will keep you on the edge of your seat from page one until the end. The personal tone to this book, compared to that of the other books was a nice change of pace. Getting to see the facets of each of the cahracters as they evolved really made this a great read for all of the series. Hidden will take you on a long emotional ride that is guaranteed to leave you more than a little raw as it stomps on your heart and then tries to piece it together just to go through the process again. O’Flynn does it again. While I felt like I needed to slow down on reading this book, I still couldn’t seem to put it down. This book will make you want to leave the lights on, and watch for what goes bump in the night. This book gets my highest of high ratings, I completely recommend reading this book in series order as the characters growth from book one until now really made this an excellent read and one that I can’t wait to dive into time and again. I can’t wait to see where O’Flynn takes us from here!

Redemption (Ash Park #5)
By Meghan O’Flynn
Rated 4 stars

Ed Petrosky is a crochety old detective, who has been imagining his last days for a while now. He struggles mentally and physically to make it through every day. After losing his daughter and partner he is planning on seeing them again soon. Can his new partner and a youngster from Vermont make him whole again? What about Shannon and the kids? He can’t shut everyone out.

Finally….Finally someone who doesn’t take Petroskys crap!! I love this lady/Petrosky’s new partner already! She is quick, smart and has an aura or some might call an attitude. I was worried about Petrosky. He has had some horrible thoughts these last few books. They were becoming more prominent. Hopefully this *new* partner can “shake him out of his funk”….as Shannon would say.

The murder of Petrosky’s daughter Julie has haunted him through all the series. He was never able to find out who killed her. Thinking about her has led him down dark paths thinking he failed her. Will he finally get his redemption?

This is a good book but not my favorite of the series. There was too much inner dialogue or demons to contend with. The story was solid and a fitting ending for the series. I miss the characters that make me smile while reading all the sick and twisted scenes. They kind of balanced out the darkness.

This is the fifth book in this series and I loved it just as much as the previous books. My favorite part of this series is the character Petrosky. He is a character that I would love to hate and he really makes the story flow into what this series is. In this book, he fights not only his own demons with his daughter but also a cold case that haunts him. Again, this author had me sitting on the edge of my seat just wanting to see what would happen next. Fast paced, page turner, a must read!

Hidden (Ash Park, #4)Hidden by Meghan O’Flynn
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Hidden is the fourth volume in Meghan O’Flynn’s Ash Park series. The story is gripping, and will have you staying up all night with paranoia. The book is intense and not for the fainthearted, as it pulls you in to a haunting tale of mystery and murder. Just when you thought it was safe to go outside, this book sends you ducking back under the covers, and thinking everyone is a killer.
I immensely enjoyed this book, as it can be read as a standalone, though you don’t quite get the full picture, and miss out on small things. But the book is so well done, that you can just pick it up and go. I absolutely adored Ms. O’Flynn’s lyrical writing, and the way she paints a scene in your head; making sure to not leave out any gory details. I found myself completely absorbed in this book, and unable to look away from the horrors that were depicted before me. I really enjoyed this story and want to go back and read all the others, and pick up all the small details.
This book is masterfully written and is a solid 5/5 stars.

5 out of 5 stars

The story Redemption: An Ash Park Novel (Volume 5) by Meghan O’Flynn is a book that I truly loved reading. It has an atmosphere of suspense that had me on the edge of my seat the whole time I was reading it. The book had me wondering what was going to happen next and where the leads/clues were all leading to. It is a story that is emotional, and my emotions went up and down like a rollercoaster. Intense, gripping, thrilling, and dark this is a story that grabbed me from the very beginning and I couldn’t put it down until I had read the final chapter. This is a story that has Detective Petrosky, after getting a call from a police department, re-evaluating two cases that have and continue to haunt him. What he is learning has him wondering and searching for the truth while sorting out the lies. Detective Petrosky has a heavy heart as he believes that he has failed everyone he has ever loved. He soon finds himself dealing with new revelations and other victims. Will Detective Petrosky find a connection between the killings? One of those cases is the murder of his daughter. Will Petrosky find her killer and just how far is he willing to go to make that happen? Read this story to find out. This is a book and series that I have loved since reading the first story. I love the way that the investigation and theories are detailed, and I always felt like I was trying to put together a puzzle to find out the truth. I found myself thinking about this story even after I had finished reading it. It is wonderfully written with amazing characters.

Redemption, the fifth book in the Ash Park series and the fifth book that I could not put down! Each story really has gone from strength to strength. The author has truly done an amazing job keeping the excellent level of writing the same over the series; the plot has been exciting, gritty, and dark and has kept my attention throughout. She builds tension like no other author I have read before and throws in some fantastic and much unexpected twists! Just when you think you know what’s going to happen along comes one of those very twists! I would highly recommend reading the books in order but for absolute definite book 4 should be read before this one.
This has been an amazing series, definitely not for the faint-hearted. It is full of amazing characters, dark, gritty moments and above all absolutely flawless writing. I really cannot recommend Redemption and the Ash Park series enough!

I absolutely love that every book in this series gets better and better. I was most certainly not disappointed with Hidden by Meghan O’Flynn. And if I could really say what I want to say, you’d have to cover your ears.

The simple fact that as a reader you can experience every single detail that is described in this book is mind blowing, literally. The author completely excels at her craft and can creep you out. I sat on the edge of my seat trying to figure this one out. I obviously went in blind, even though I read the previous books, and am so glad that I did. The fact that her character development is on par with the world building, is what makes me love her work. Seriously, this I consider another 5 Star Book! I love everything about it.

Hidden is the fourth book in the Ash Park series by Meghan O’Flynn. This series keeps getting better and better. I think Hidden is my favorite in the series so far, but all of the books are wonderfully thrilling and horribly bone chilling. This story outdoor be read as a standalone, but there are recurring characters throughout the series and all the books are great reads. This book and series is full graphic details and gritty suspenseful twists and turns that lean toward terrifying, so this may not be the book for some. This series is really hard to review because I don’t want to give anything away, so I will just say if you love books that get into the minds of killers then this is the book for you. I can’t wait to read book five in this series and hope Ms. O’Flynn continues with this series.

WOW…..

OMG what a book…This is my second story by this author and it was AMAZING!! I don’t know why I started with the 4th book in this series, its a mystery I’ll never understand but one that I will fix as soon as possible. I wish I’d have read the others but it did not take away at all from this story, I was never lost and enjoyed every single word and that ending…. Yea will be reading the next one as quick as I can get my hands on it, then I’ll go back to Book 1 and start all over lol

I literally could see every scene happening, some of them of course gave me chills and I wish I couldn’t see it but this no doubt could be on a big screen. I literally could see this being made into a motion picture and would be surprised if the author has not heard that before.

The flow was simply perfect and every word relevant and Im not going into any details because it will ruin it for anyone else that wants to pick this book up…I will say that I loved loved loved Petrosky, he was literally a jerk through most of the story but the kind of jerk you can’t help but love.

I can not wait to read the next, and I can not wait to read more of this author’s work..The first book I read by her was more of a horror story and although this book had a lot of horrible things in it, it is now on my list as one of the best written books I’ve read this year.

There are some big name authors out there that have major best selling books in this genre and yes I’ve enjoyed those as well…But they have nothing on the writing talent of this author.

Loved It!!

Where to start, oh where to start. This series has taken me on a wild ride with my emotions, my mind, and my surroundings. Meghan O’Flynn is a master mind. It still amazes me how someone could write such a series of sinister psychological story and still be able to sleep at night. Her characters are amazing and yet complex. This story made me be grateful for my family but also fear what is happening to my daughters while they are not with me. Just when Detective Petrosky thought it was going to be quiet and a little peaceful the Ash Park killer is back. We saw a little of Detective Petrosky’s history in the previous volumes, but it was only bits and pieces. This story can be a stand-alone book, but with little tibbits here and there it would be helpful. Detective Petrosky has a dark part in his mind with the gruesome murder of his own daughter that when there is another girl gone missing, he has a heavy heart and fears the unknown. Will Detective Petrosky find the killer? Will he be able to move on? Only time can tell.

Redemption: An Ash Park Novel by Meghan O’Flynn is one not to be missed. It totally took me by surprise. Nope I totally did not see that coming. Never in a million years did I suspect that. Meghan has done an exceptionally fantastic job on this series and Redemption rounded everything off nicely. Except I am still pouting/heartbroken over the loss from the last book. I am not going to mention anything about the story because you need to find out for yourself but let me tell you there were a few heart attacks, a few choice words, a lot of emotional turmoil, unbelieving that it was happening and that was just from me. Imagine how the characters felt and what they were going through. Meghan’s writing is effortless and she makes you feel as though you are going through everything the characters are going through and she is the queen of plots, twists and turns, roller coaster rides and so much more. Ash Park series is not for the faint of heart, it is one who loves thrills and chills, murder and mayhem. I swear this series should be made into movies.

Redemption by Meghan O’Flynn is the fifth book in her Ash Park series. As gripping and intense as the others this book is a must read.
Detective Petrosky is haunted my memories of his daughter. He is haunted by memories of a killer and he is haunted be memories of another young woman. One who reminds him of his daughter.
He is so haunted by everything in his past that he wished he could just end it all. Until he receives a phone call – the one that could change everything.
Detective Petrosky is forced to put his grief on hold to throw himself back into a fight he thought long over. The question is, who will be the victor.
This series is such a strong series. Each book has you hooked and this one was no different. The story takes you on a fast paced and intense journey, one that you will never be sure as to what the outcome will be. It will have you not wanting to put the book down until it is over. Hidden was a great 5 star read and book 4 in the Ash Park series.
Meghan continues to pull me right in with her writing and I didn’t want to stop until I was done.
There is all sorts of dark going on in this great series and Hidden continues to add even more.

Petrosky is working on a brutal murder case of a grandmother. When he discovers that a killer from the past is back he is determined to stop him. I was trying to figure things out right from the beginning and flying threw the pages to see what was coming next.

Will he be able solve the murder before anyone else becomes a victim?

There is so much more to this great read. All of the secondary characters added a great element to the story. If your looking for a great read with unexpected twists and turns with murder, mystery, suspense and so much more than 1-click and get started today. I’m super excited to get my hands on the next book in the series.

This Author is a best seller for a reason. Everything she writes is gold. Detective Edward Petrosky carries the pain of the world on his shoulders. This is very true when he is handed his new case of murder of a grandmother, dead on her front lawn. Creepy as that is, Petrosky has his own issues with it, such as why did no one hear her scream? Why are there children’s footprints outside where there are no kids around?…..what the heck is that in the basement?? This poor grandma took all of her secrets to her grave and someone wanted her to take them with her violently.
When bodies start to pile up and Petrosky recognizes the fashion in which they are murdered, he starts to panic that a deranged killer is back on the loose and is ready for more blood.
This 4th book in this series had my heart pounding. I could not catch my breath. Ms O’Flynn is a fantastic story teller and can bring to life such detail and you do no lack for anything. Most definitely an 18+ for the strong language and violence. Highly recommended

Meghan O’Flynn’s story will keep you locked into this book. It has all the feels and takes you into this unforgettable thriller. One you will not take lightly. I have never been so scared reading a book. This one got me! To scared to read, and scared not to finish. I love a good mystery, and this has it all. Ash Park will forever be unforgettable. Repressed: An Ash Park Novel (Volume 3) by Meghan O’Flynn. This is the 3rd book in the Ash Park series and each one gets better to me. This one is about Curtis Morrison who is a newly married Ash Park Police officer. His past life was no where near his life today. He did things he doesn’t like to think about and is trying to forget. He has a new wife and baby, a great job and that is what he’s trying to focus on until his past comes back to haunt him. Someone has his wife and child. Will he have to go back to his old ways to get them back or will he lose them forever. Sometimes your past has a way of catching up with you. I read this book like the others in one sitting. Then when another woman is found murdered with the same brand on her Ed begins to thinks a killer he chased before is back on the prowl. The first introduction to this book is inside the head of a killer. The way she was able to write from this deep, dark, mysterious perspective is frightening. I didn’t know at first if I was going to be able to continue reading, but after pushing forward, I am glad I did. Just like the other Ash Park novels, this one does not disappoint. Hidden by Meghan O’Flynn is a truly haunting read, it’s a crime story not for the faint of heart. It’s dark, suspenseful, evil, twisted and so detailed that I had to take a few breaks while reading as some scenes were just too much to bear. This was by far the most emotional read of the Ash Park series for me, it was like I was on a roller coaster ride of emotions, from shock, awe, anger and to feeling a profound sense of loss when I reached the end.

As I have read the previous books in this series I can honestly recommend reading this series in order, this way you can fully appreciate the characters and storyline along with Meghan’s incredible writing style. I can’t wait to jump right in to the next book of the series as these characters have captivated me time and time again.

Meghan O’Flynn has done it again. This story continues the lives of two detectives and a attorney. Petrosky is an addict and some habits are harder to kick than most. I felt so bad for him through most of the books. But I also think he gave up too quickly. I have always felt that you can’t do something for yourself because of someone else. If you want to change it has to be because you felt something that made you want to be and do better. People might hold you to this place but your will to be here is what keeps you going every day. The author gave me chills with this one. I don’t understand how the author sleeps with these stories floating in her head. I’m off to watch a Disney movie after finishing this story. The kill blended in so well that it makes you want to question every stranger around you. The killers background shapes him to be this way and it’s a sad life kids have to live when they suffer at the hands of the ones who are suppose to love and protect you. I might be repeating myself but I will at it just in case I haven’t. This author could be on the same level as Stephen King. Every time I open his book I’m left looking over my shoulder and jumping at shadows. This author does that to me as well. I can’t believe how good this series has been so far. Murder, abduction, mystery and addiction from chapter to chapter you are spellbound into a world that compels you to keep going. Even when your scared.

This time the detectives are possibly dealing with someone from the past, which makes it all the more important to them. Some moments are so shocking, and sad, that I literally had to walk away from the story for a bit and gather myself. It really affected me. This writer really has a way of pulling you in. This series seems to get darker and darker. I once again found myself drawn into the world createdynn
by the author. I again took the journey out of my comfort genre to the dark and thrilling adventures
of the police of Ash Park. The author has a very unique and chilling writing style.

I really found myself drawn to Petrosky and also feeling just a bit sorry for him. He seems to be on
a bit of a self destruct mode and you just really find yourself routing for him. As the case draws on you find that the ghosts of his past really do impact the way he is in the present. I could feel the emotions coming off the pages. As I was glad that the case in the book was brought to an end I found myself really feeling so much concern for Petrosky. The author leaves us on a cliffhanger and that just makes you hunger for what is to come. I will be on tenter hooks waiting for the next book in this

Just when you think this series can’t get any better out comes book 4 and Ms O’Flynn takes the series to a whole new level. I have to say this has got to be my favourite from the series so far. Again the story was quite dark, very gritty but I have come to expect this from the series and although not always my kind of thing it has made for a very exciting read. The authors writing is very detailed so you can easily imagine what you’re reading, which at times is a little much but I still really enjoyed the story. She definitely knows how to keep me on the edge of my seat that’s for sure!
I am really looking forward to the next book in the series!!

Hidden: An Ash Park Novel (Volume 4)
By Meghan O’Flynn
Another awesome story by Meghan!!! In my opinion you should read the first three books in this series so you have a better background of what’s going on. The stories this author weaves so intricately gets into my head and stays there. There are dark and sadistic things going on in this story and will keep you on the edge of your seat. There are some unpredictable moments and great loss. I cannot say enough great things about this book and the entire series so far. I can’t wait to read the next one. This is a must read you will not be disappointed!

The story Hidden: An Ash Park Novel (Volume 4) by Meghan O’Flynn is the next thrilling story in a series that hooked me in from the first book. This story draws you in from the very beginning and you won’t want to put it down until you have finished the last page. There are mysteries to be solved and I felt just like I was putting together a puzzle to find out the entire picture of what is going on. It had me on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen next and if all the questions raised would be answered. One of the stories main characters and one that I enjoyed reading about, is Detective Edward Petrosky. Petrosky is a man that is haunted by the thought of the killers that have escaped conviction. He is affected by these thoughts and he doesn’t always use the best or wisest methods to cope. Petrosky knows that the current case that he is working on is strange and there are many questions that need to be answered. When Petrosky realizes that a killer he thought was gone is still in Ash Park he knows that he has to be tracked down and stopped. Petrosky is a man that feels the burden of guilt and grief. Will he be able to stop an evil/sadistic killer before another victim is claimed? Read this book to find out. I felt empathy for Petrosky as he is someone that believes that he has failed those he cares for. While he can be sarcastic at times or just plain cranky, he is trying to cope with pain that for him never goes away. It is also enjoyable to read about the characters that care about Petrosky. They are ones that he can always depend on even when he finds his life off track or tumbling downward. There are moments in this book that are intense and suspenseful. I had to remind myself to breathe. It also had my emotions going up and down like a rollercoaster. This is a book I would highly recommend reading. I can’t wait to read the next story in the series.
