Urban Justiceis the second book in the Chicago Vigilantes series by India Kells. I am really enjoying this series, and I think it would make a great television series too. As in the first book, the premise of this story/series grabbed me right off-the-bat. The whole vigilante justice angle mixed with plenty of action, danger, the underworld, angst, drama, and a new deadly drug- really set this off for a fast-paced and intriguing ride. Ms. Kells held my attention the whole way through this engrossing story- and I am looking forward to seeing what happens with the rest of the series!

First, We Kill All the Lawyersis the first book in the Donovan Trait series by Seelie Kay and it really was such a fun read. This is a little different than the other books of hers that I have read- but just as intriguing, clever, and well-woven. This is a paranormal romantic suspense- a great murder mystery with vampires, lawyers, crime and investigation, a serial killer, hidden agendas, revenge, shifters, politics, and all woven with a very original take on vampire lore. Donovan Trait is a highly respected lawyer- a superstar in courtroom circles, but there is more to him than meets the eye. For one, he’s a vampire who’s over 300 years-old. Things take a dangerous and suspenseful turn when someone attempts to murder him. Luckily vampires are hard to kill, or this story would have ended rather quickly. Who has got him in their crosshairs and why? Then other lawyers begin to meet their ‘sticky ends’- and everything points to a serial killer obsessed with lawyers. But apart from all the victims being lawyers, nothing about the case connects or makes sense to Donovan and his ‘team’. The bodies are piling up, with no idea who could be targeted next. Donovan will need to do something to draw out the killer, especially if he is to protect those he cares about. What ensues makes for a gripping and suspenseful read. Add in the intriguing vampire lore details, the other paranormal elements, and a sweet romance- and I was hooked, reading it all in one sitting so I wouldn’t miss a moment. The ending leaves an opening for more- with some tantalizing threads that I hope we get to explore more in future instalments. I hope the next book isn’t too far away, because I can’t wait to continue this series.

Fake Fiancé: A Second Chance Office Romance is another superb read from Amy McKinley. I know I have said this before, but I really do love Ms. McKinley’s books, she never fails to draw me into her stories, getting me completely invested in her wonderful characters and the outcome of their story. Ms. McKinley is a one-click, no questions asked author for me. I don’t need to know anything about her book to know that I will love it- and this book proves that point yet again. I loved Adeline and Stone- their chemistry was intense and palpable. But if that alone isn’t enough to entice you, the story was cleverly woven with interesting elements that had me captivated the whole way through. Add a little mysteriousness, some touching & tender moments, emotion, a little drama, lots of spice- and an extra helping of destiny- and this story became un-put-downable. Another feather for Ms. McKinley’s cap, that’s for sure!

Love Heels! The TV News Business Can Be Murderis the third book in the PJ Santini Seriesby Lynne Russell. This is a private eye mystery with humor, family dynamics, murder, intrigue, tension, suspense, and that somewhat sarcastic sense of humour that I love about this series. We met PJ Santini back in the first book. She’s a television news reporter and private eye. We follow her as this latest investigation as she is once again put through her paces. As with the other two books, this was quite entertaining- keeping me flipping the pages to find out what happens next. PJ is a great character- along with her family and the other supporting cast- add the witty banter and this comedy has some really funny scenes. The story was interesting, with cleverly crafted elements that made this book a memorable read. Again, I can’t wait to see what PJ gets up to next!

Gianluca is the first book in the Marini Family Romance series by Isabella Cassazza. This is a contemporary romance set in the fashion world- with plenty of chemistry, angst, push pull, and drama- and this story has the added bonus of having Italy as its backdrop.
I enjoy the way Ms. Cassazza weaves her stories- adding her own stamp and flare to her work. Her characters are well developed and are quite likeable- making it easy to invest in them and the outcome of their story. I will definitely be following the rest of this series.

Yule Lads Legend: Iceland’s Jólasveinar by Heidi Herman is a retelling of an Icelandic folktale. It is a very original Christmas tale full of wonderful detail and creative elements. With Trolls bringing this story to life, you just know that it will be an interesting and fun read. I loved that we get to see a snippet of Iceland’s wonderfully unique folktale history through this clever retelling of an ancient story. Yule Lads Legend is well worth the read!

Hunted is the first book in the Hunted series by Sarah Biglow and Molly Zenk. It is a great fast-paced paranormal story- with vampires, hunters, the supernatural, mystery, tension, romance, drama, action, adventure, wonderful world building, family, originality, and intriguing characters. I love the stories that this talented duo cooks up- and this latest collaboration is definitely one of my favourites they have produced. I can’t wait to see where the series leads from here. Who doesn’t love a good vampire story?

Starvation by Molly Fennig is a young adult story that tackles the sensitive topic of eating disorders- from a male perspective. It is raw, honest, and at times very confronting. Molly Fennig doesn’t shy away from this difficult topic, giving a warts-and-all account that really made me sit up and take notice. The story alternated from past to present and back again- theses transitions were seamlessly choreographed into a seamless and powerfully realistic story. We follow Wes as he grapples with his emotional turmoil, leading to an eating disorder- we witness as he is held in its grip- and look on as it takes over his life. Will he find a way through this experience and come out the other side. Or will it completely consume him. This is well worth the read to find out.

This book is a collection of essays about events/periods of P.A Kane’s life which he then links to a song/music. He uses the song to partially narrate the essay and link the two together. The essays cover many different periods in the author’s life, and many different topics- from growing up, to a social commentary of the times- with history, politics, life, death, humor, challenges, family, race, and much more- this book provided an interesting journey. P.A Kane also provides some basic rules for making your own playlist- encouraging you to create something that speaks to you and reflects your life and feelings. His simple steps make it all seem quite easy- and had me itching to shuffle through my own collection of songs and albums. A thought-provoking read.

The Bullet Theory is the first book in the Dr. Nolan Mills series by Sonya Jesus. It is such an intriguing and exciting start to her new series and something a little different from the other books of hers that I have read. I love the original and clever premise to the story- and love that Sonya Jesus had me wondering how things would play out for most of the way through the book. It definitely captured my attention, as well as my imagination- I couldn’t put it down for fear of missing something. So, I ended up reading it in one thrilling session- and came away wanting more (in a good way). This book is a fully contained story, so there is not major cliffhanger as such- but it does leave room for more instalments- sooooo, I really can’t wait to get my hands on the next book to find out where we go from here. I neeeeed book two- STAT!!!! I volunteer to do all of Sonya Jesus’s housework, cooking, cleaning, and any other chores- just so she can concentrate on getting the next book done ASAP 😊. As with her other books, this story was a wonderfully detailed and descriptive- and Sonja Jesus created quite a lot of intensity, intrigue, and tension- making me think- wondering where the story was leading and pretty much kept me guessing the whole way through. This is a gripping story told from several POV’s- which really gave a great perspective of what was going on- while creating enough intrigue and suspense to keep me completely invested in the outcome. As I have mentioned in the past, Ms. Jesus is quite skilled when it comes to character her development. Creating characters who are fully realised individuals, with interesting and complex personalities, quirk, and flaws. They really were so interesting- and the story was all the more exciting for their involvement. With murder, mystery, suspense, jealousy, betrayal, revenge, dirty deals, flashbacks, tension, emotion, and romance- this book is a must read. Seriously, go grab a copy and dive in- you will be happy you did! There is absolutely no doubt that I will be reading the next book! I need it like, yesterday!!!

The Sound of Silence (Leave me Breathless World) by Dakota Willinkhas a bit of a “Sleeping With the Enemy” feel to it. It is a romantic suspense with some dark undertones that made for a compelling read. Please note that the story could be considered a trigger for some readers- with domestic violence and abuse playing a part in the story. Gianna and Ethan seem to be the perfect couple from the outside looking in. But appearances can be so deceiving. Life is anything but perfect- shattering Gianna’s happily ever after dream. Ethan, seems to be the perfect husband. A policeman would keep her safe- right? But who can she turn to when her husband, the cop, is her abuser? She has no choice but to escape and start over. But the past has a way of popping up when you least expect it- making for a gripping read. Confronting. Intense. Gripping. Emotive. Sensitive topic. Dark themes. Dramatic developments. Honest. Raw. Unwrappedis a sexy holiday story by Evelyn Sola. As this is my first read by Ms. Sola, I really didn’t know what to expect going in- but as you know by now, I do love a good Christmas/holiday story, so I was only too happy to dive in. Unfortunately, this didn’t quite hit the mark for me. It was quite slow to get going, and I really had trouble connecting with the characters, or their story- the whole thing leaving me wanting. Nick rubbed me up the wrong way right from the beginning, and I just didn’t connect with Miranda at all, no matter how hard I tried. It’s an ok story, but I really did want to love this book so much more than I did. I’ll revisit this book again in a few weeks to see if I still feel the same way, or if maybe I was just having an ‘off’ reading day. I would be interested in exploring more of Ms. Sola’s work to see what else she can do.

High Heels and Mistletoe by C.A. Kingis a sweet, feel-good Christmas romance that captures a little bit of the spirit of Christmas and wrapped it up in this wonderful package. I am a big fan of Ms. Kings work and have enjoyed all her stories immensely- and so it came as no surprise that this book hit the mark for me as well. The story has all the ingredients you could want from a charming Christmas story- but there are also a few unexpected touches which gave the story an extra element of interest. The premise behind the story is quite original and Ms. King cleverly crafted a story that had me invested right from the get-go. Full of charm, romance, a little Christmas magic, and just a little drama- made for a wonderful read. Julietta is a marketing executive with an aversion to Christmas. In fact, she does everything she can to avoid it- going so far as to leave the country for a few weeks every year. You see, she has a severe allergy to mistletoe and can’t be anywhere near it without it causing her distress. With Christmas fast approaching, Julietta has her trip all booked, ready to escape the Christmas festivities. But then her boss puts her in charge of an important contract which must be signed before she leaves. Should be simple to get a signature, and then jump on her plane- right? Only her client isn’t so easy to wrangle. And to make matters worse- he embraces all things Christmas- loves the season and wants to share the joy with everyone. So you just know things will get interesting when these two opposites attract. But maybe they are exactly what the other needs? This story is well worth the read to find out. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a sweet Christmas story, anytime of the year!

The Devil’s Day is the third spellbinding book in The Lucky Devil Series by Megan Mackie. I know I have said this before, but I absolutely love this series, it really is soooo fantastic! I have been anticipating the release of this book for a while now and was so excited when it finally hit my kindle. Ms. Mackie doesn’t disappoint– keeping me enthralled the whole way through. This is an epicurban fantasy with cyberpunk/neon-fantasy, sci-fi, dystopian, and paranormal elements. There is so much to love here- with plenty of magic, action adventure, suspense, mystery, conspiracies, hidden agendas, corporate politics, quips, banter, drama, tension, chemistry, intrigue, danger, secrets, emotion, and different realms….as well as a myriad of mystical and mythical creatures. The overarching storyline is spellbinding and full of intricate details and incredibleworld building. If you haven’t read the previous books, I highly recommendthat you do as not only are the stories absolutely wonderful, there’s a lot of backstory and character information there that will help you better appreciate this book- as well as build a much bigger picture. Rune has been through, and discovered, so much since we met her back in book one. This book sees her face her biggest challenge yet- and Ms. Mackie certainly put her through her paces here. Rune has been challenged for control of her ‘House’- which is so much more than just a bar- so there’s quite a lot at stake. She isn’t sure she has what it takes to win the challenge- but time is pressing and soon she won’t have a choice. She will need to face this head on and use all the skills and connection she has gained, if she has any chance of succeeding. But there is more going on than just a ‘challenge’- as Rune will soon learn. Her lack of confidence in herself could lead to her losing all she loves. But there is a lot more to Rune than even she gives herself credit for. Saint Benedict is a cybernetically enhanced corporate spy who has a complicated past. Again, these two will need to work closely together in order to get through this latest threat. But will secrets and betrayal destroy the trust they have built between them. With outside forces targeting them and hellbent on winning at any cost, they are put in a seemingly impossible and incredibly dangerous situation, where their options are running out and all their lives, and the fate of the ‘House’ and the Lucky Devil Bar, are all on the line. What ensues makes for an un-put-downable read!!! Ms. Mackie has once again delivered a wonderfully rich, vibrant and vividly detailed story- set in a such a cleverly constructed and interesting world. This is world building on a masterful level. The characters are truly brilliant– so well crafted and fully developed. There are a lot of characters to keep track of, but the story is so well written that I didn’t have any trouble keeping up. I loved how the characters grow and evolve as the story progresses, especially Rune. I love the chemistry between Rune and Saint Benedict, I really hope that chemistry develops into something ‘more’. I have been rooting for them since the beginning- so they better get their act together soon. The story twists and turns, with lots of surprises and unexpected developments that had me on the edge of my seat in expectation. I loved that this story provided so much more backstory and character revelations- there were so many fascinatingdetails that I would love to divulge here, but I won’t as I really don’t want to spoil any of the story for you. I can’t recommend this story and author highly enough. You really should read it for yourself, you really won’t be disappointed!!! Can. Not. Wait. For. The. Next. Instalment!!!

Murder Makes Waves is the third book in the Jack and Frances Mystery series by Carmen Radtke. This is my first read by Ms. Radtke, so I really didn’t know what to expect going into the book. I was definitely intrigued and as I love a good cozy mystery, I happily snapped up a copy to explore. The story is a cleverly woven historical murder mystery set in 1931, on a cruise ship on the high seas. The story is full of danger, jealousy, deception, murder, theft, crime & investigation- and with a cunning adversary to deal with. I enjoyed meeting Jack and Frances, along with Uncle Sal, Aunt Mildred, the other secondary characters, and of course Tinkerbell the Corgi. Even though this is the third book in the series, it can definitely be read as a standalone, without feeling like you are missing any details. The characters did intrigue me enough to want to go back and read the other two books to see what Jack and Frances have been up to previously. I am sure to learn a great deal more about them, as well as backstory information that I am looking forward to discovering. A fun read.

Blood of the Dragon is the fourth book in the Relic Hunters series by Martin Ferguson. It is a superb addition to the series and is my favourite of the books, so far. This is another fantastic young adult adventure- with plenty of action, thrills, drama, mystery, danger, historical details, investigation; while once again giving us a wonderfully complex and engrossing storyline. I have mentioned before, and will probably do so many more times- but this series would make a really great movie, or TV series- as well as the possibility of an exciting adventure game for PC, Xbox, PlayStation, or other gaming system. There is so much going on in this book- the author reallly upped the ante on this one, really putting the characters through the wringer. I don’t want to give anything away as I don’t want to spoil it for you. Suffice to say that this action-packed adventure kept me glued to the pages from beginning to end. I really recommend this series to anyone who loves YA, adventure, and history. Even though you could read this as a standalone, I recommend that you read the previous 3 books before starting on this one- as this is definitely a series you won’t want to miss a minute of. Looking forward to more Relic Hunters adventures!

The Dog Thief and Oher Stories by Jill Kearney is a collection of 12 short stories capturing the connection between humans and our four pawed companions. These stories are drawn from the authors own experiences as a dog rescuer and carer. The stories are heartachingly poignant- with a very realistic and honest account capturing both human and animal in all too-real situations. This is not a light and fluffy read- there are moments of true heartache and emotion, but amongst it all are also messages of compassion, hope, determination, resilience, and survival. The stories are written to highlight the need for more focus on animal rights, welfare, and rescue. It also captures the connection between humans and animals, and how caring for one another and forming a bond with our furry companions can stabilise and really enrich lives.

The North Wind Descendsis the fourth book in The Lord Hani Mysteries by N.L Holmes. This is an historical mystery set in ancient Egypt- with plenty of historical detailing, intrigue, drama, and interesting characters. I am enjoying following Hani along on his mystery solving escapades- and the Lord Hani series is definitely my favourite of all the N.L Holmes books. I love the historical details of the story and the authors passion for the period- her in-depth knowledge and familiarity with the historical aspects of the times really does enhance to the whole atmosphere of the story. Hani is a fantastic character, who along with the rest of the cast, help to bring this story alive. He is a loving family man, as well as a respected diplomat. This mystery tests Hani, again, and brings with it more political agendas. Murder, intrigue, family, and political tension made for a great read. Looking forward to seeing what Hani gets up to in the next book!

At Last is the first book in the Adams Brothers seriesand debut novel by Mindy McKinley. This is a well-written sexy and steamy co-worker romance, with just enough drama and angst to keep things interesting. Lola is a great teacher, but lacks confidence and so tends to keep a low profile. Dom is a history teacher working at the same school, who has a bit of a player reputation. They have had little to do with each other until he sees Lola sing at a local Jazz club. Then things take an interesting turn. A fun read. Looking forward to more from Mindy McKinley in the future.

Scepter of Flint is the third book in The Lord Hani Mysteries by N.L Holmes. It is an historical cosy mystery set in ancient Egypt. We team up with Hani, an Egyptian diplomat, once more as the mystery unfolds. With mysterious tomb robberies, the plague, politics, and troubling personal developments- Hani will have a lot to process if he is to figure it all out. We are transported to ancient Egypt- which the author does a brilliant job of recreating and bringing to life. Her attention to detail definitely adds an extra element of interest to her stories. As with the first two book in the series, the author’s knowledge and passion for the period really shines through in her story-telling and writing adding wonderful depth and richness to the story/series. I wonder what awaits Hani next?

City Without A Sun is the second book in the Vampire State series by Alexander Charalambides. This series really does take vampire lore and shake it up a bit- giving an original and intriguing take on vampire stories. But it is so much more than just a vampire story, with plenty of drama, danger, action, adventure, mysteriousness, surprising developments, politics, agendas, social commentary, wonderful paranormal elements, and superb world-building. There is definitely a bit of a dark dystopian feel to the series, which I love. and more. It felt a little dystopian and dark at times. But that added to the whole atmosphere. This was an interesting story- complex and dynamic. Though it was a little slow going at times- the story was intriguing enough to keep me invested in the outcome. Even though this book is set around a year after the events in books one, Vampire State, I would really recommend reading book one before starting on this one as having all that storyline and information will definitely give you a better appreciation of this book. A lot has happened between the events in book one and now. Our characters have to navigate many changes- personal, social, as well as political. I really enjoyed following along to find out how everything played out. Definitely looking forward to more of this series.

The First Noel A Tale of Friendship by Clare Johnson is a Christian children’s story about friendship, love, values, acceptance, lesson teaching, and more. It is told in the form of a poem, which also weaves the story of the birth of Jesus. The story begins when the daughter of a Wiseman meets a poor shepherd girl- before evolving into the Nativity story. When I saw this book show up on my recommended book feed, and with Christmas approaching, I immediately though that this would be a great story to read to my 4 year old grandson- so I grabbed a copy and sat him down to read it. While I did think the premise was quite clever and interesting, I felt that the story would probably be best enjoyed by older children, as it lacked the attention grabbing details that most young children need and enjoy having in their stories. My grandson loves story time, but only a page into the book and his attention was wandering, already asking for other books. We persevered, but he really wasn’t that interested in it. I do think that with just a little tweaking this story could be fabulous. The pictures are quite well done, done in a computer graphics kind of style, but were not as whimsical and ‘child-friendly’ as I had hoped for. The author explains that the story/poem was originally written as a dance production before becoming a picture book- so I would definitely be interested in seeing the stage production, as maybe the story better translates to dance.

Grumbler’s Ride is the second book in the Satan’s Devils MC San Diego series by Manda Mellett. I have read all of Ms. Mellett’s books now, and always enjoy what she does- she always produces a captivating read, and this story was no different. This is an MC romance, with an older couple- as well as exploring some sensitive topics. Grumbler and Mary’s story makes a great addition to the series, and Satan’s Devils world. It is a slower paced/slower burn story than some of Ms. Mellett’s other books- but still delivers all the feels we’ve come to expect from her work.

The Sanctuary Chronicles Box Set – Book 1-3 + Novellais a spellbinding series by India Kells. This is my absolute favourite series of hers, so far! This is definitely one of my all-time favourite fantasy/paranormal romance series and one I highly recommend to anyone who loves paranormal romance, fantasy, or who just wants a fantastic read. This boxset is the perfect way to explore the series- getting all four books in one handy package. But get set for quite a ride- and prepare to develop an India Kells book addiction. The Box Set contains: -Broken Magic (The Sanctuary Chronicles Book #1) -Blind Magic (The Sanctuary Chronicles Book #2) -Dead Magic (The Sanctuary Chronicles Book #3) -Hidden Magic (A Sanctuary Chronicles Novella- Book #3.5)
I could rave on and on about this series, but you would need an hour just to read my review- so I will leave you with my review for one of the books, just to give you an idea of what to expect.
BLIND MAGIC (Book #2) 5 Stars
Blind Magic is the second book in The Sanctuary Chronicles by India Kells. OMG!! This Book, and Series is brilliant! I love everything about it, but especially the wonderful story that completely enchanted me right from the beginning and held me spellbound right through till the end. I couldn’t put it down, because I just had to know how things would play out- so I ended up reading it in one sitting! Ms. Kells weaves a breathtaking Paranormal/shifter story with werewolves, witches, spells, magic, suspense, intrigue, drama, mystery, and a really beautiful romance. This story could be read as a standalone, but I really recommend reading the first book before embarking on this one, because there are a lot of recurring characters in this book who we meet in the first book, and a lot of backstory and character information is also contained in the book one. Not to mention that it’s an exceptionally good story in its own right. The epilogue at the end of book one set us up for book two, and becomes the prologue in this book. I am still in awe of all the seemingly small details that are intricately woven throughout the story that turn out to have unexpected connections and deeper meaning later on down the line. The story is so superbly written, wonderfully detailed, with vivid descriptions that help to bring everything into being. I was completely swept up in Sera and Ian’s story and followed along expectantly the whole way through. We met Sera in book one as she is one of Valeria’s best friends. Apart from being a powerful witch, Sera is a renowned scholar and researcher, who spends a great deal of time with her nose buried in the books at Impossibilities Inc, the specialty store for witches and magical beings, where Sera works. She is incredibly intelligent, loyal, and kind- with a bit of a stubborn streak. She has worn glasses for quite some time, as her eyesight has been slowly failing over the years. She expects that at some point she will lose it entirely- but she is completely unprepared when blindness strikes quite suddenly. It comes as a great shock and she has been having trouble adjusting to never seeing again- especially since the last thing she saw before losing her sight was the dark and intriguing werewolf she can’t help but feel drawn to and would love to look at some more. Ian Macon’s world was shattered several years earlier when his wife and young daughter were killed by rogue Enforcers. His rage nearly made him feral. He was broken, alone and became bitter towards everything and everyone. Asher brought him to the Sanctuary and gave him a place there, where he could make a difference helping others. Ian is now the beta to Asher’s Alpha of the pack. He is strong, powerful and commanding in his own right, but still a shell of the wolf he once was. His one true mate died- so he will never again find that connection with anyone else, that bond died with his mate. But meeting Sera was like a beacon shining through his darkness, beckoning him into the light. But one thing I have learned about Ms. Kells is that things are never simple, there are layers and complexities yet to reveal themselves. There is definitely a lot more to Sera and her situation, which we discover and that comes into play in a huge way. Ian can’t fight his attraction, or his protective feelings towards Sera- and even though ‘mixed’ relationships are outlawed by the governing council, sometimes fate has a mind of its own. But, danger is stalking Sera, putting her and all those she cares about in serious peril. She will have to find answers and get to the bottom of everything before it’s too late. But will she have to make the ultimate sacrifice in order to save the one/s she loves? There were time through this story where I had my heart in my mouth, reading along anxiously as things played out! The suspense, mystery, tension and intrigue were superb! It was so well done, it was like having a movie play out in front of me. There were emotional points throughout the book, that really made my heart ache- but the last few chapters had me literally sobbing my heart out- I was so caught up in everything that was happening, the story broke me and flung my emotions all around the place, before Ms. Kells slowly pieced me back together again…. And I. Loved. Every. Single. Moment. Of. It! I can’t recommend this story highly enough! You really should do yourself a favour and grab a copy, because you’re sure to love it as much as I have!

Bonds That Beckon is the first book in the Daughters of Anubis seriesby Kelli Kimble. It is a YA small town paranormal tale- a bit of a coming of age story about fitting in, acceptance, small town mentality, feeling like the outcast, prejudices, friendship, family, drama, and self-discovery. I didn’t connect with the story or characters like I had hoped to- as this story should have been right up my alley. I felt like something was missing and wanted to know more about the characters, backstories, and situation. But, I plan on revisiting it soon, before I start on the next book, to see if I still feel the same way- or if I was merely having an ‘off’ reading day with it.

War of the Damned is the third book in the Relic Hunters series by Martin Ferguson. It is a fantastic YA adventure- with plenty of action, mystery, danger, historical details, Relic Hunters, interesting & quirky characters, enemies, the past returning, a fight for survival, twists and turns; with a complex, intriguing, and multi-layered storyline. As I have mentioned before, this series really would make a great movie, TV series- or exciting adventure game for PC, Xbox, PlayStation etc. We team up with the Relic Hunters as they set off on an excavation of a well-preserved WWII German U-Boat. But what they uncover is far more than they could ever have imagined. Danger soon follows- making for another exciting read, as they fight for survival. They will definitely have to call on all their skills, and more, if they are to survive and save the day! Looking forward to more adventures with the Relic Hunters.

A Merry Texan Christmas is the third book in the Prentice Brothers of Sweet Ridge seriesby Nicole Flockton. This is a sweet, small town contemporary romance, with plenty of fun, all the Christmas feels, and just enough drama to keep things interesting. I really loved this Holiday Romance, and as expected it is a wonderful addition to the Prentice Brothers series. Trey Prentice has put aside his baseball career to take on life as a bookstore owner- embracing life in Sweet Ridge. With Christmas fast approaching, Trey can’t wait to decorate and make his shop a little Christmas wonderland. But he is going to have some stiff competition in the form of Maggie Watson, the local librarian, and Sweet Ridge’s resident Christmas decorating guru. Her knack for all things Christmas has even earned her the tittle of Miss Christmas. Let the competition begin. But she’s not going to go down easy- especially to the arrogant newbie. With plenty of Christmas shenanigans and fun, what happens next makes for a really great read. If you are looking for a Christmas story that will captivate you right from the beginning, then this is definitely the book you have been looking for.
