This series continues to be enjoyable to listen to. The narrator is fantastic. I love Dahlia’s character in this series and now a new mystery comes to light. Dismembered bodies everywhere along a riverbank turning up and it’s up to help Dahlia solve the mystery while trying to keep safe. This story keeps you on your toes with mystery and twists. Looking forward to see what happens next!
Well, this chapter in the series was excellent and intense. The action was strong and gripping. I took my phone everywhere because I couldn’t stop listening. The characters seem to be well-developed. I love the fact that audio gives them an extra layer of personality. Don’t we all wear msdks while trying to solve problems? That seems so hard to hide who you are while going about daily life. I am a huge fan of this series. I definitely recommend this one to the sci-fi and fantasy lovers.

Nite Fire: Smoke and Mirrors by C.L. Schneider is the third book in the Nite Fire series. I read the synopsis and loved the concept so much that I didn’t even see that this was the third book in the series! However, I was so hooked by the beginning of this book that I continued to listen (audio-version) even though I did not have prior knowledge of the characters and their previous stories. While I was slightly confused by the dynamics between some of the characters at the beginning of the book, I was able to quickly fill in the dots. Overall, the book was action-packed, mysterious, and gave just enough spooky vibes for the Halloween season! I enjoyed the characters and all of the supernatural elements this book had to offer!

Dhalia Is a half dragon shifter who has set up shop in the human world hiding from her past and its secrets. she works with local Police as a special assigned agent helping with unexplained crimes. No one knows who she is or what she is. Her secrets won’t last long when body parts pile up at the river exposing a dark underground world and it’s secrets that will bring Dhalia all the way back to her past and having to face ghosts she didn’t want to face.
this book is fantastic, detailed, well written characters are addictive and I really enjoyed this narrator as well who was definitely animated and enjoyable.

Schneider is such a great storyteller and world builder that you definitely won’t want to miss all the great backstory. This story is full of action and adventures. The characters are fantastic and so detailed it feels like you are investigating right alongside them. This book is a real roller coaster of a ride, so buckle up and jump on this wonderful ride.
This book is also narrated by Cassandra L. King, like the first two books. I love the tone of her voice and she really brings the characters to life. I can’t wait to listen to the next installment.

Nite Fire: Smoke and Mirrors is a fantasy book about Dahlia Nite, a half-dragon shapeshifter. Dahlia is now living among the humans, not really fitting in, however, she didn’t fit into her original world either. However, what she doesn’t realize is that these two worlds are about to collide. She works with the police department trying to engage in “normal” life, but to live this normal life also means she lives in lies and deception. One night, by the river, dismembered body parts were discovered and now Dahlia had to try and figure out this oddity. Luckily, the secrets that she holds helps her on this endeavor, however, she will have to explain and deceive her partner to get to the bottom (a partner who only knows enough about the world she came from, but not to the extent needed to keep everyone safe). This is my first book by this author and I thought CL Schneider provided a new outlook on the fantasy world. The story line was intriguing, however, there were a lot of characters I had to keep up with and what relation or world did they originate from. With that said, the characters she portrayed were different then in other fantasy books I have read, plus they were developed, complex, but also relatable.

Having read the first two books in the series I was excited to listen to the audio book of book 3 and I wasn’t disappointed! The narration was great and the story was amazing! The authors writing never fails to pull me in straight away. There were some great twists and turns in the story that constantly had me guessing about what was going to happen. I love Dahlia and Alex, they have such a great relationship, they really do work well together and I enjoy the banter that they have between them. They are very entertaining characters to listen/read about. There is just something about Dahlia that I can’t help but like, she is strong and independent and she really is just a likeable character. Although it was a long listen the tie just flew by because I was so engrossed in the story I was listening to.

Well to start off I love the narration from Cassandra King. She always makes every character different and it makes the listening experience so amazing.
This is my first book from C.L. Schneider but it will not be my last. The way that the characters are described and the flow of the story makes you want more.
From chasing Banshee’s to traveling between the world of humans and the world of supernatural. This story had me wanting to read the rest of the series to know everything that happened.

The narrator does an amazing job bringing the story and characters to life. I loved how she’d change her tone for the characters and I find listening to her so soothing. This is a story that is packed with shape shifters who are hidden to lots of action. If you haven’t already started this series I highly recommend reading/listening to this whole series each one is just as good as this one. There’s plenty of twists and turns that had me on the edge of my seat. Get ready to be taken on quite the journey with Dahlia and Detective Alex. There’s a lot going and plenty of secrets that need to stay hidden. What will happen if they are exposed? I highly recommend listening to this to find out what happens next and Can Dahlia keep secrets hidden I can’t wait for more.
Nite Fire: Smoke & Mirrors (Book 3) by C. L. Schneider was another exciting installment in the Nite Fire series. Once again we follow Dahlia Nite as she helps to solve the mysteries within her city. Armed with her new sidekick, Officer Evans, she unravels the secrets of an underground market and the impending doom of the blight that is encroaching on the many worlds. I once again found myself cheering on the characters as they are put into situations that test their limits and feel their pain when life is lost. The narrator.is perfect for the series and I hope sh continues for the next book. I will be anxiously awaiting book 4.
So to start off, I didn’t know about the first two books, but I am definitely going to go back and listen to them. CL Schneider was able to have it where I understood it all. The main Character Dahlia has a lot to uncover and work on with missing creatures of all kinds, masked men who are very flexible, and her friends sister still missing. With her human work, she investigates to find all she is looking for. This series is absolutely fascinating with all the different creatures, realms, and adventure. I can’t wait to finish the rest!
This is not my first audible by this author but it is one of my favorites yet. I enjoyed how the narrator brought the story to life using different tones of voices. They kept the story engaging and had me want to listen to more. It is a great story where the characters come to life with each word. It is a story that is full of action from shapeshifters to creatures that lay hidden in the night. Dahlia and Alex are great characters. Secrets and killings, Dahlia has her hands full. But what will happen when worlds collide and secrets struggle to stay hidden? I highly recommend this audible, you won’t regret picking it up.

How do you make a book better? You make an audio versio. This brings the book to more places and makes it easy for the reader to enjoy as they travel in their cars or are walking. The author has really got such a refreshing style. The characters are brought to life via the narrators voice. I felt as though I was right in the action as the drama unfolds.
I really find that I am drawn to Dahlia’s character. The way that the journey unfolds just draws you deeper and deeper into the story. I really like that it is a supernatural mystery. The mix of human and supernatural beings just adds to the story. The partnership of Dahlia and Creed really adds to the drama. Evens being a human and coping in the Supernatural world is just another added bonus. I really like how the author draws out the drama and the mystery . I will definitely be reading more from this author and I hope this series in the future.

What a fantastic book! Based in the south in 1069, dealing with racial issues and romance and injustices made this book still relevant today. My favorite part was watching Noemie grown and take her life back. When she told Serena off, I was so happy for her. So well-written and beautifully done, I recommend this book to everyone.

Growing up in the 60s I remember hearing such horrific stories. This is a beautifully written story about just such forbidden love. One I think everybody will enjoy. Noemie is such a strong independent woman. Richard is a strong protector, who loves who he loves. The characters in this story are believable in how life was back then. Noémie’s Journey AUDIO BOOK by Victoria Saccenti is a Contemporary Romance that I absolutely loved listening to I found myself so caught up in the story I didn’t want to do anything else but listen to the narrator. I enjoyed listening I find it very calming especially with how crazy stuff is nowadays. Anyways this is my first audio book by this author and I’m definitely a fan. This is Richard and Noémie’s story you can say opposites attract only because one’s running from the past while the other is trying to make a future. God I love these to characters and their chemistry between them is crazy. Can these two have the relationship they want /need or will it end in heartbreak? I highly recommend listening/reading this to find out what happens next. I look forward to listening to more from this Author and the narrator.
I loved this story of Noemi and Richard. Richard wants to protect Noemi really pulls at my heart strings. Setting of a small town, the racism that Noemi had to deal with on a daily basis… I couldn’t possibly imagine. There are so many obstacles as Richard is white, while Noemi is not…and the story taking place in the 60’s with some rocky times for social equality. This story is heartbreaking at times and beautiful.
This is my first audio book by this author which I enjoyed from beginning to end. I enjoyed being pulled into the story by the narrator’s tone of voice. I also enjoyed how they kept it engaging for me. The characters are not only connectable but the narrator also did a great job of bringing them to life. This is a story about Noemie and Richard. They are opposites, one running from the past and the other trying to make a future. What will fate have in store for these two? Can love find a way or will it be nothing but heartbreak? I really liked both of these characters and their chemistry together. It is a great romance story that I highly recommend. It is not only worth listening to but it will keep you listening to the end.
In “Noémie’s Journey”, Richard Winters rode his beloved motorcycle from New York to North Carolina trying to escape his past. As he was trying to start a new life, an unexpected interest, Noémie Bellerose, caught his attention. However, in 1968, in the south, this was going to cause some problems since he was a white man intrigued with a woman who came from a problem family and was not 100% white. Through their journey, they faced many trials and tribulations due to individuals in town not agreeing with this possible arrangement. In addition, Noémie and her younger brother also have to deal with an alcoholic and abusive father. They were realistic about what a relationship would mean; did this hinder or enhance their future? I thought this was a pretty good book. I enjoyed the message the book was portraying: diversity isn’t something to fear; adversity can make one stronger; having a partner helps soften the blow; and love can conquer so much, to name a few.
This was such a good listen! I was hooked from the beginning because the story was awesome and so was this narrator. This was a very long listen for me at over 12 hours. I had to listen in multiple sessions but I enjoyed it enough to keep coming back. I would recommend this to a friend!

I wasn’t very sure about this book as bikers have never been my forte but I was pleasantly surprised with the characters in this book. The main female character had a lot of trauma to deal with due to her accident but the male hero was surprisingly understanding and supportive, in his own way, about it. I think the way that the author wrote the female character was heartbreakingly realistic to what people likely go through in a situation like hers. The things she had to deal with throughout the story and her growth as a character were very well written. The male Hero had depth to him as well and the way he handled things was unconventional to say the least but still had a personal touch to it that made the character feel cohesive and real. The writing itself was easy to follow and the storyline didn’t drag and was full of action so it kept me entertained throughout.
Turning Wheels by Manda Mellett

This was not my first book from this author, but I just can’t get enough of her work. I started in the middle of this series, but got hooked on Manda’s writing style and character development. I knew I had to go back and read this MC series from the beginning and I wasn’t left disappointed. I just love a strong female character. It was so exciting to see Wraith help Sophie to blossom back into her sassy self after suffering the loss of her leg. If you haven’t tried this author, and you enjoy rough, dominant bikers and strong, intriguing female characters, this is the perfect place to start!
Turning Wheels (Satan’s Devils MC #1) AUDIO BOOK by Manda Mellett follows Sophie as she is protected by the Satan’s Devils from the boyfriend of her best friend who wants to harm her. It also follows Wraith, the vice president of the Satan’s Devils who have vowed to protect her. Each chapter goes back and forth telling the point of view of Sophie and Wraith which provides an insight to their character and all their different interactions. It’s tale.of adventure, growth, and love. So much more than what you would anticipate from a biker novel.
