This is the tenth book in this series, my favorite yet. I enjoy how the author through her creative writing skills makes me feel as if I am right there with the characters. This is a sitting on the edge of your seat book in parts that make the story pop to life. Dane and Shana are great characters that I have enjoyed reading about. In this book they go on the run as they are the targets of someone who is out to get them. I highly recommend reading the next installment of this series.

Beachcomber Enemy is yet again another action packed and entertaining read by Stephanie Queen. I honestly though after all these books I might be a little fed up of Shana and Dane but absolutely not! I absolutely adore these two characters and everything that goes on in their lives! I think the author does an amazing job in creating different stories for them in each book and she absolutely still has my 100% attention! I feel like I saw a different side to Dane in this story too which was great it clearly shows that even now the characters are continually developing and I’m still learning about them. Alongside Shana and Dane there were some great secondary characters, especially Ronnie! It was nice to see how his character had developed form the last time he appeared in a story!
I am definitely looking forward to reading more from Stephanie Queen again in the future!

Beachcomber Gone: Beachcomber Investigations Book 9: a Romantic Detective Series by Stephanie Queen. This is such a fun book. Its the story of P.I. partners Dane & Shana who have decided to finally get married. The story revolves around them going to Shana’s home to meet her family and of course it goes as wrong as it possibly can. Shana’s mom is being used as bait in an old case of Shana’s about police pension fraud. The case gets re-opened because they think someone on the inside was involved. They are working to keep Shana out of jail and to solve the case all in the process of trying to get married. This is a fun contemporary romance with lots of action.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Beachcomber Gone was a thrilling 5 star read and book 9 in the Beachcomber Investigations series. Stephanie Queen has once again pulled me right in.

Just when these two are finally taking a step forward by going to meet Shana’s family things take a big twist. Dane takes an important call while in flight to Australia, a call that changes everything.

Someone from the past has their sights set on Shana. They have her mother and are using her as bait to get what they want.

Can Shana prove her innocence in an old case of hers?
Can they save her mother before it’s too late? Can they ever get a HEA?

Shana is a very strong loving woman and I love that about her. Dane is a caring and protective man who would do anything for Shana. We get a great mix of so much in this story, thrilling twists and turns and edge of your seat moments. Secondary characters were great. You can read as a stand alone but I suggest reading from the beginning so you understand the whole story between Shana and Dane. I can’t wait to read more from this series/author.

Beachcomber Gone is book 9 in the Beachcomber Investigations series by Stephanie Queen, but it could be read as a stand alone book. I haven’t read the whole series, and I enjoyed this book. The chemistry between Dane and Shana is fun to read, and the book is full of suspense. The pace is quick, so it makes you not want to put it down.
Dane and Shana are finally engaged, and have decided to travel before tying the knot. They went on vacation to Australia, so Dane can meet Shana’s mom. But before they could even land, they found themselves in the middle of a case, and shortly after arriving, Shana is taken. She has become the lead suspect in one of her old cases, and must avoid being framed, while she and Dane work together to solve the case. Such a fun, fast moving book. I highly recommend it.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is book 9 in the “Beachcomber Investigations” Series. While it could probably be read as a stand-alone, I think it would be better to read the series in order. There is a common thread and recurring characters in each installment and reading the series will enhance each story.

As with the other books in the series, we follow the M/m on unexpected adventures. This is a story with romance, action, suspense and a little of everything else thrown in. It is a very quick read at about 150 pages but has the weight of a full bodied novel.

The series has been well plotted, characters are well developed and the story ebbs and flows in a way that keeps the reader interested.

I recommend this book, this series and this author.

Beachcomber Gone: Beachcomber Investigations Book 9 By Stephanie Queen is the ninth book in the Beachcomber Investigation series. I highly recommend if you haven’t already read the other books in this series you should. I’ve truly enjoyed this whole series and I just love Dane and Shana. This story is about Dane and Shana and them traveling to Australia so Dane can meet Shana’s family. But plans get changed when her mom is used for bait and threats are made. Sometimes things aren’t as they seem. Someone is out to set Shana up. Will they find out whom is responsible before it’s too late? I definitely was on the edge of my seat trying to figure out what happens next. I highly recommend reading this, not only this book but this whole series. I give Beachcomber Gone: Beachcomber Investigations Book 9: a Romantic Detective Series by Stephanie Queen, 5 stars.
*This review contains spoilers from previous books in the series*

Dane and Shana have finally decided to get married. But before they do, Shana wants to take him to Australia to meet her family. But it isn’t the vacation they hoped. Before they even touch down, they are warned of trouble. She has enemies who know of her trip and are waiting for her. The only people besides her family that know of her trip are her former coworkers from the police force. Could one of them have betrayed her? What exactly will they do if they get her? Can Dane keep her safe?

This book has all the action you would expect if you have read any of the books in this series. But this time they are in a different country. It fits right in with the other books in the series, yet it is different so you won’t feel like you’ve read it before. Plus Dane and Shana are a great main couple. Not to mention that we meet more new characters. I would really love to see more of Shana’s mother in future books.

I highly recommend this book if you like your action with a side of romance. I for one could not put it down once I started.

Nothing puts the brakes on a prewedding visit to your hometown like finding out what you thought was a closed case has been reopened because of a possible insider. Shana wants Dane to meet her family before they get married but Murphy’s Law is in full effect and everything seems to get worse.
I felt so frustrated and angry for all the curves thrown at Shana and Dane. I love these characters and I just want them to be happy. But then again, that doesn’t make for a very interesting story series. Danger around every turn in Australia? Super exciting and interesting! Each character is explored and has depth. I learn more about the couple in each story and the world building is fantastic. Attention to detail and in character arcs is brilliant. Kevin gives me creepy chills, Shana makes me want to cultivate my game face, and Dane’s deep affection for Shana makes me just want to hug him.
This could absolutely be a stand alone novel but I do not recommend it. This entire series is worth every second of read time.

I was so happy to jump back into Dane & Shana’s story…I have read them all so far apart and can not wait to read them all back to back someday when the series ends…Although I don’t think I ever want this series to end. I will miss them all so much! I seriously do not recommend reading these out of order…The progression of these two awesome characters needs to be read in full and in order so that you get the full picture.

On a trip to Australia to meet Shana’s family which should have been a wonderful relaxing time turns to anything but relaxing by the time it is over. You just know something is going to turn bad when Dane gets a call while on the plane heading to Australia from his good friend Peter, the governor of Massachusetts who says…”Get off that plane before you land in Sydney”

It seems Shana’s past has other plans for the newly engaged couple and Shana’s Mom who is being used as bait.

This was just another amazing addition to this already amazing series. I love love love this author and can’t recommend her enough, this series in my opinion would make an awesome TV series and I can’t wait for the next one and am hoping that some of our favorite people from the past books get to come back into play.

Run..Don’t walk and one click this whole series 🙂

Beachcomber Gone is the ninth book in the Beachcomber Investigations Series by Stephanie Queen. Beachcomber Gone is a romantic suspense story that keeps you guessing. Dane and Shana work together in more ways then one. They go to Australia so Dane can finally meet Shana’s family. That does not go as they had planned. Unfortunately they find out Shana’s mom is being threatened. It is not what they expected. Will Shana and Dane figure out what is going on before something happens?

Another great book by Stephanie Queen in the Beachcomber Investigations series. Beachcomber Gone keeps you turning the page, because you do not want to stop reading. You want to find out what is going to happen next. The writing is engaging, descriptive and flows. The characters are well developed and believable. I definitely recommend Beachcomber Gone as well as the first eight books in the series.

Beachcomber Gone by Stephanie Queen is the ninth book in the Beachcomber Investigations series. This book can be read as a stand-alone although we are introduced to these characters in previous books. For this reason I would recommend reading in order although it isn’t necessary.
This book has a little bit of everything. It has the romance. It has the action. It has emotions. It has a well written and thought it story. And most importantly it has main characters that you want to read about. The author pulls you into their story from the moment you start reading them, be it in this book or previous books. The story developed suits them and the way they are makes it more exciting to read.
The book is fast paced and takes you, as the reading, an exciting journey. This is a great book and a brilliant series.

Things get crazy when they get to Australia, an old crime is trying to pin itself to them, and the news spreads the lies. See? Crazy. I like Shana’s brother, I feel like it would be fun to read more about him. Lots of action, adventure, and surprises in book 9.

This is a series I have been following and it never seems to disappoint for a good mystery novel. This book will throw you into Shana going missing in her home town right before she is to marry. This book will throw you for a loop. At spot I found the pace a little slower than I would like but I always seem to want to rush through to the good parts as well. You know that finding her is fast and you need to do it. The author has a good eye for detail and sometimes can seem a little over detailed but it works with her writing style. Good book! Beachcomber Gone by Stephanie Queen, is another great story in this series that I love. Her writing skills and the amazing wonderful characters, Dane and Shana, and the situations they find themselves in, make for some interesting adventures. Stephanie draws you in with intrigue and mystery, seduction and love, high running emotions and some badass PI skills. It’s taken a while for these two to fully commit to one another, especially with Dane’s closed off heart, but as you come to expect from these two, nothing ever goes as planned and there is always a mystery to solve. However, the odds just got a little tougher when dealing with high up Police officials and the whole country is looking for you.

Beachcomber Danger: Beachcomber Investigations Book 8 – A Romantic Detective Series

By Stephanie Queen

5 Stars

This is one of my favorite series, everytime a new book is added I can not wait to read it, following Dane and Shana along this journey has been so much fun, and I love the supporting characters that have been along the way..Acer being my favorite as well as Cap and how Ronnie went from being just a stringer to being so valuable has also been fun to watch.

This book had all that you would expect while reading this series..Danger, suspense, a bit of snarkiness from our leading lady and the exasperation and protectiveness from our leading man, and of course the all important romantic moments.

I could read this series forever, I love every one of them and absolutely can’t wait to see how the future plays out for all of them and hope there are many more cases to solve.

I highly recommend this book as well as the whole series but to get the whole story I recommend reading from the start, there is so much that got them to where they are today and I just know everyone would enjoy it as much as I have.

Beachcomber Danger (Beachcomber Investigations, #8)Beachcomber Danger by Stephanie Queen
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Beachcomber Danger is another instalment in Stephanie Queen’s Romantic Detective series “Beachcomber Investigations”! I have read most of the series since I fell in love with Shana and Dane the first time I met them!
Beachcomber Danger is another brilliant Shana-Dane story! Shana would like to concentrate on planning their wedding but well, nothing goes as one hopes for! The couple is pulled into national emergency as there is a threat to the President of the Free World and who would be better to assist then the legend of special ops aka Dane Blaise … but of course, everything is not as simple as it seems on the surface and the further down we go the rabbit hole, the more gets revealed and the more Dane struggles with his feelings for Shana as they make him weak and vulnerable (or so he thinks) …
The story can be read as a standalone and apart from Shan and Dane we will meet again with the rest of the Island gang and let’s not forget about Archer and the Governor and … The writer has created a world that keeps inviting you back, story after story … a world inhabited by characters that are so easy to relate to and that make you laugh and cry … Cannot wait for the next story!

Beachcomber Investigations (Beachcomber Investigations #1)Beachcomber Investigations by Stephanie Queen
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Beachcomber Investigations by Stephanie Queen is a romantic detective story and the first book in the Beachcomber Investigations Series. I really enjoyed this book as there was plenty of everything you could want in a story, from action and suspense, mystery and intrigue, romance and witty banter that will have you laughing out loud. Leave yourself plenty of time to read it because once you start, you won’t want to stop, until you have absorbed every last word, as you become entertained and lost in the world of these loveable heroes.

There are many lovable characters in these books but Dane and Shana are our main focus and the sexual tension is sizzling, with their love hate relationship and their own issues holding them back. Dane is ex special ops and a legend and certainly not looking for a partner. Shana is an Aussie surfer chick and ex-Scotland Yard detective. When their worlds collide sparks come flying and tortuous games begin as they go from case to case to catch the bad guys.

You won’t just fall in love with and be captivated by Dane and Shana, you will be just as drawn to the rest of their unruly gang of players as well. I am looking forward to getting my hands on the next books in the series.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Beachcomber Test by Stephanie Queen is the 7th book in her Beachcomber Investigations series that is fondly called “a romantic detective series”. This is my first read and as I have always been a fan of detective stories I jumped in feet first (why the hell not when the leads are a tough and gorgeous ex-Scotland Yard detective and an ex-special ops legend working as a private-eye on Martha’s Vineyard. I guess you could read this story as a standalone like I did but after finishing it, I have to admit, I wish I had read at least some of the stories before!
This particular story is a simple divorce case turning into a dangerous affair and I am sure the ex-special ops legend Dane Blaise cursed the day when the gorgeous ex-Scotland Yard Shana George made him crazy enough to take the follow-the-cheating-spouse case!
I loved their chemistry; I loved their idiosyncrasies, their perception of each other, their drive, their close friends and their local ‘fans’. I promise you couple of phenomenal hours where you laugh and bite your nails and once you get to the end, you will seriously consider giving yourself a Christmas present aka the first 6 books and novellas of the Beachcomber Investigations! You will not regret! And you might even start considering a short trip over to the Vineyard …

Beachcomber Test: Beachcomber Investigations is book 7 in A Romantic Detective series by Stephanie Queen and it is just as good as the others and I can’t get enough of them. I love reading about these wonderful characters that Stephanie has created and the world she has created for them. You should read all books in order so that you get the back and continuing stories of the crazy goings on and positions they always find themselves in. There is suspense and mystery, laughter and love, bad guys and good guys.

Our lovable characters, Dane and Shana and their motley crue, find themselves once again involved in more than they thought possible, when they took on a seemingly easy, open and shut case. But as we have come to know and love them, we know that nothing is ever as it seems and nothing is ever that easy.

Do yourselves a favour and get a copy of this series and sit back and enjoy the ride with a cuppa or a glass of your fav drink. I guarantee you will love this series as much as I do.

The prequel to this series was set up perfectly. With all the action and suspense and a lot of twists and turns and bad guys, two people get thrown together and become unlikely partners on the shores of Martha’s Vineyard. Shana, who has a huge chip on her shoulder to prove who she is and what she’s capable of and Dane, who’s fighting a past full of danger, loss, and sadness, and a reputation of being a legend, and just wants a vacation on his beloved island. The two work together along side others to take down the people behind the kidnapping of a rich young heiress and suspicious activity surrounding the American Invitational Surfing Competition.
The back and forth interaction between Dane and Shana was hilarious, and I could almost feel the tension as their attraction was undeniable. The ending was the perfect set up for what is to come in the series, and left me wanting more of these two and which direction they will go with their attraction.

As this story progresses past the prequel, it just gets better and better, with their Investigations firm set up these two partners in business and enemies in all things relationship wise set out to keep their business afloat, while teasing and pushing each other away the whole time, yet the tension is so high you can actually feel it. The secondary characters in this book are so amazing and stay front and center throughout and make this series perfect. I love Cap and Acer and hope Acer comes back in future books, but I think my favorite is Ronnie, the stringer lol I see future stories for these characters woven into the continuing story of the dysfunctional Dane and Shana.

I was thrilled to do a search and find that there is so much more for Beachcombers Investigations and can’t wait to read all of them…I would love to see this as a series on tv, I think it would be big hit. I don’t know what the future is going to hold for these characters but I can not wait to find out. I love this author’s writing style and the flow of the book has you turning pages so fast to see what happens next, there is never a lull in the stories, always something going on and I Loved Loved Loved It!!!!

I seriously never want this series to end, I love these people. Dane and Shana have come a long way and although you see hope that there might be a future for these two outside of their “business partnership”, I still see where there could still be so many more obstacles for them and those are the most fun to read about in my opinion. I have stated before in other reviews how much I love Cap and Acer and this book made me want even more stories maybe focussing on them a bit more.

I still think this would make an amazing TV show and can’t quite make up my mind who would play who if that happened, I just know Id watch it over and over just like I plan to come back and read this series over and over. The writing style of this author just gets better and better with each book I read, turning pages so fast because the action just never ends, and there’s never ever a dull moment.

You seriously have to read these books in order to fully appreciate these characters. Ronnie is still a favorite as well and I’m thinking there could be many stories ahead involving him.

This was an amazing addition to this already amazing series and I can not wait for more!!
