If I lick the cover does Teddy become mine ?! 🫣🤪😱😘

Summer and Teddy grew up together , life changed and Teddy went to the Navy and Summer went touring the world but she’s home now and she wants her Grand pappy Micky ‘s bar but he’s sold it to Teddy but he’s gracious enough to give her a roof over her head and a job so she should reign in the sass a little I’d say …

Teddy and Summer are each others kryptonite and watching them find each other again was magical 🥰make no mistake there were some tense moments when Summer’s past comes to haunt her and help comes from an unexpected source but also there were tears when Teddy shared his story ,this was a quick read that ticked many of my must have boxes and again these people just crawled into my heart ❤️

Love Shots (Bluestone Series #4)Love Shots by Isobel Reed
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Love Shots is a small-town romance and the fourth book in the Bluestone series. The story comes with all the ups and downs of living in a small town with that group of town folk that just can’t seem to mind their own business!
It was a fun read that had me laughing out loud at times, I think Bluestone may just be a place to be. I really enjoyed Isobel’s easy way of telling a story, especially since I’m from a small town and know how it goes sometimes!
This small-town romance has something for everyone, it has the strong headed, beautiful woman, the sexy cowboy who is trying to be laid back.
The banter between the main characters was fun and refreshing at times, and like I said, had me laughing out loud. Then there were times when the conversations between the main characters were truly deep and heartfelt.
Summer finds herself down on her luck and finds her way back to her home…. Bluestone County, but only to find her plans aren’t going to go the way that she hoped they would.
Teddy has also returned to his hometown after a bad tour while serving in the Navy, but now he has to not only deal with his recent purchase but has to duck, dodge and deal with a fiery blonde when she realizes, he has the one thing she wants.
There is so much detail put into this story, and even though it is part of a series, I feel it is a great standalone book! I hope you will enjoy reading about Summer and Teddy and all of the adversity they face as much as I did!

Yet another fantastic Bluestone Series book! After having read about Teddy in the previous books, it was great to see him get his turn! Summer is definitely a fiery character and I’ve always been a fan of the trope where the leads grew up together and now years later…! Once again, highly recommended!!

I accidentally read this as the 2nd of my Bluestone Series but it didn’t matter – although there were references to the two characters from book 2, I was still able to become quickly absorbed in the story of Lily and Ace! I love a good fake romance story and this one certainly didn’t disappoint! Highly recommended and I will be reading more from this series!

The first in the Bluestone Series and my first book by this author, but it quickly became one of many in both categories! Lily is a fiery heroine with a past and Jake is everything you want in an alpha male – strong, working with animals, caring, fights for what he wants… I could go on!
The writing style keeps you reading late into the night and the plot line keeps you guessing! Highly recommended!

Love Shots (Bluestone Series Book 4)

Teddy falls and falls hard in this book. He and Summer are childhood friends who haven’t seen one another for several years, when Summer comes home. It’s fast and furious and pretty hot and sweet at the same time.

There is something incredibly sexy about a man who goes all in and Protector for his woman. I know there are several woman who have this kind of devotion from their men, mine may not be super alpha but I have no doubts he loves me though an alpha isn’t a horrible thing to dream about.

Summer is a strong independent woman who tried to live life outside of Bluestone, but after some time she found her way home. Life in a small town isn’t supposed to change much no matter how long you have been gone. Unfortunately someone forgot to mention that to this town.

I have loved each of the books I have read in this series and hope there are more in the future. Maybe Teddy’s friend Tyler???

⭐️⭐️⭐⭐⭐ Book Review

Love Shots is the fourth installment of the Bluestone Series. In this short, friends to lovers, romance we are introduced to Teddy and Summer. At first I was pretty sure Summer was crazy. And Teddy, well he just seemed like the hottie who got away. A few chapters in and I was totally in love with these two characters. Teddy was so caring, gentle, and overall so very sincere. Summer was damaged, running from her past, looking for a new beginning but no matter where she turned, the evil of her past haunted her. I loved how Reed kept everything at a slow steady pace. None of this story/romance felt rushed. Both characters had a past that caused them to shy away but they were able to use one another as buffers and figure out how to move on and love again. They were just perfect for one another in so many ways. This was a very short read and I didn’t want it to end. I would highly recommend this novel to anyone who enjoys romance. I will definitely be heading over now to pick up more novels from this series/author.

I’ve read two out of the three books in this series and absolutely Reed’s style of writing is so subtle and easy to understand on what’s going on in Bluestone County. The books in this series can be read as stand alone but honestly if you read others, you really look forward to what happens in this small town. It is like visiting a place you really enjoy. This one focuses on Summer, who has just left a volatile relationship and wants to start fresh. There is also Teddy, retired Navy SEAL, who is coming back to his hometown, looking for the same fresh start, when he runs into an old friend at his bar in which he recently took over from the former owner. Summer gets angry at Teddy for taking over the bar and shows him how angry she is. Teddy and Summer used to be old friends. Teddy doesn’t want his second chance to let feelings slip away. The chemistry between Summer and Teddy is amazing!

This is book 4 in the Bluestone series and I have loved everyone. If you like rugged men who are hard working and love with passion and protectivness that no one can break then these books are definately for you.
In this story we read about Teddy and Summers story and romance and wow what a read.
Teddy and Summer have been friends since they were kids. Both of them had feelings for each other but neither was brave enough to admit it and so they went their separate ways.
Fast forward and Summer returns to Bluestone to find that the bar she assumed would be hers had been sold to Teddy. Now she needs a place to live and a job and Teddy is only to happy to offer her them. As they spend time together the old feelings resurface. Will they finally get their happy ever after this time? When an ex from Summers past arrives will he be the one to destroy and tear apart Teddy and Summer?
This is a great read. I got butterflies myself reading all the romantic thoughts and feelings the couple shared.

I LOVE this series and the fantastic characters brought to life by this talented author. They weave their way straight into your heart and stay there long after you’ve read the last word. I really loved Teddy and Summer. They are such fun characters. They have been friends for years and even though they had feelings for each other neither one was brave enough to tell the other. Life took them in different directions but now they are both back in Bluestone and they can’t fight their attraction and longer. This book can absolutely be read as a stand alone but why do that and miss out on all the other amazing books in this series!! Grab them all and get bingeing! You won’t regret even a second of it.

A sweet romance about a 2nd chance at 1st love and true love. Summer and Teddy had been in love with each other since they were 10 years old. Things and people stood in their way until now. Now the only thing standing in their way was each other.

Summer was escaping a stalker ex while trying to refind her place in the world. Teddy was recently out of the military, needing time to recover after a really bad tour. Each returning to the only place they felt safe enough to start to heal, Mickey’s. Mickey’s was Summer’s grandfather’s bar until he recently sold out to Teddy, unknowingly stealing Summer’s dream. Now they are back in town, together, for the first time in about a decade.

Sparks fly. Feelings come out. Memories are relived. Flames are rekindled. Magic and romance happen. Exs appear.

If you are in the mood for cinnamon roll alphas and sweet romance, this is your jam!!

Couldn’t put it down!!!!! Summer and Teddy had me laughing, crying, and overall just really happy. I definitely can relate to Summer, as I have not picked the best guys for relationships. Can you imagine finding “your person” at such a young age? Summer and Teddy have know each other since they were kids, but too stubborn they both go off on adventures away from BlueStone, Montana. They came back but for different reasons. If you would like to know what happens, read the story. I will tell you that I couldn’t stop reading it. I hated when I had to put it down for work reasons.

Another enjoyable and engaging story in the Bluestone County Series, and I love being back in this small town and meeting its residents. Finding herself back in Bluestone County where she grew up was not in Summer’s plan, neither was having no home or job. Having left behind a dangerous ex boyfriend Summer still dreams of being able to take over her grandfather’s bar, but she soon learns that it’s already been bought, and by her childhood friend Teddy. I don’t know who was more surprised Summer of retired Navy SEAL Teddy when she completely looses it and starts throwing very expensive bottles of whiskey at him! However, Teddy had missed his old friend and was interested in more than friendship with her, having already missed his chance with her once before he was not going to let that happen again. This is a second chance at love romance with a friends to lovers theme. I loved both Summer and Teddy, and although they are complete opposites their chemistry sizzled off the page. As usual the descriptive narrative really brings the characters and the small town feeling to life, making me feel immersed in the story.

4 Stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟

This is a sweet, friends to lovers, contemporary romance with drama, angst and love and everything that I love about a good romance story. Love Shots is book 4 in the Bluestone Series, and while this book can be read as a standalone, I highly recommend reading this series in order.

Summer comes back to Bluestone to claim what she thought was taking her grandfather’s bar, but instead, a friend that she grew up with bought it. When Summer finds out, the whiskey goes flying and anger ensues. Summer is trying to pick up pieces of her broken life and wants to feel safe. As Summer gets to know Teddy again….sparks fly….even if danger may be lurking.

Teddy is retired from the Navy SEALs and living his life as a bar owner in Bluestone. What he does not expect is Summer to come flying back in to his life as they knew each other from so many years ago. Knowing he missed his chance prior to joining the Navy, will Teddy get to know Summer again and tell her his feelings that he has been holding on from so many years? Will Teddy be there for Summer when she needs him the most, especially when her past comes back to haunt her?

This is a fun shorter story! It starts off with bang and kept my attention til the end. I enjoyed the banter and flirting between these two. While this isn’t all fun and games there is a serious side to them and their stories.

I have not read the whole series and feel this could be read as a stand alone if so desired. This does have the other couples in here as they are all friends and or related. Teddy has a friend who we briefly meet in this book, Tyler. He peaked my curiosity and I would have loved to see him meet up with these two. Or even get his own story (hint hint).

Overall this is a wonderful story and great addition to the series. Hopefully there is more.

The 4th book in this series and the 3rd one I read. I missed book 2 somehow, but I digress. Love Shots was a great addition to the series, but even so book 3 is my favorite. The characters the author has written across the whole series are wonderful. Each book brings the main focus to two of them.
This is Teddy and Summer’s story. Their chance at forever. Best friends since they were kids, these two always kept their true feelings to themselves. Both characters left home, yet now they are back. And they’ve run into each in full force. With their emotions running wild, will they finally admit how they feel? Will demons from their past threaten any potential future? Both characters have secrets they’ve never shared with any of their family and friends. Can they get the courage to share with one another?
This book as mentioned is part of a series, but it’s very much a standalone as well. Would I read it without reading the others for sure! But I bet you’ll want to go back and read the other’s. Me? I’m going to track down book 2… lol

This was a good 4 star read. The author pulls you right in with her writing. Once I started I didn’t want to put it down. My emotions were all over the place, and had several LOL moments. Autumn has always wanted her grandfather’s bar, but gets a surprise when she returns home. She is very upset with Teddy and definitely lets him know it. There is something about Autumn that Teddy has always liked. When he finds out she is in danger, his protective instinct kicks in. WIll he finally get a chance to show her his true feelings and keep her safe?

Overall this was a good read, I really liked this couple and their story. This can be read as a stand alone. I look forward to reading more from this author and series. If you’re looking for a good read and series, 1-click and get started today.

Love Shots is the fourth book in the Bluestone Series and is a Friends to Lover’s/ Contemporary Romance that once you start reading its hard to stop until you’ve finished. I’ve read other books by this author and this one may be my favorite yet. Its got everything I love in a good small town Romance, a ex navy seal and a feisty woman who wants what she thinks belongs to her. Teddy bought her grandfathers bar, she finds herself going back to Bluestone to find it had a new owner. The chemistry between them is hot and steamy. There is definitely an attraction between them. Throw in an ex into the mix and things get interesting. I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. I don’t want to give anything away. Love shots is the fourth book in the Bluestone series, which takes place in a small town. Teddy recently bought Micky’s a local bar but finds himself with an unexpected guest, Summer, a childhood friend who’s grandfather used to own. The first scene got my attention right away. Even through Summer’s angry late night tirade, Teddy sees that Summer isn’t quite the all put together self she usually is. This book was fun to read and I enjoyed getting to know the characters. I did read the first book in the series which helped me know some of the characters that showed up in the story. By: Isobel Reed

Bluestone County has become one of my favorite series to read recently. This book definitely functions as a standalone, but I recommend reading it with the other books in the series because they are all fantastic and it will give you a good feel for all of the characters and the small town. This book is Summer’s turn. Summer has returned home to reclaim her grandfather’s bar – the one that she has always dreamed of owning and running. However, she finds out that an old friend has bought it and is running it. Teddy bought the bar and he is a retired Navy Seal, he thought he could truly handle anything – but then he met Summer.
I had gotten a feel for the characters of Teddy and Summer in some of the other books I have read in the Bluestone Series, so I was really looking forward to reading this one. I loved the dynamic between Teddy and Summer. I felt that they were very well written and that their chemistry built as the story went on. I loved how Teddy had a very soft spot for Summer that went way back and that he really looked out for her. I also felt that their dialogue was very well written. I definitely recommend reading this book and I hope that there is more to come from Bluestone County soon!

This was a great heartfelt read. It was hard to put this book down after I started it.

This book follows the Story of Summer and Teddy. Summer is bubbly and not one to back down from a challenge. Especially when it comes to her childhood friend Teddy. Teddy is grumpy and stubborn as a mule. As a retired Navy Seal, it’s not that surprising that he is not overly optimistic anymore.

People change a lot within five years. The person that they once knew each other as seems like a distant memory now. When Summer returns to her hometown unexpectedly and without any notice, she gets a major surprise. When she returns and finds that the one thing she was hoping to come home to was taken by none other than Teddy, she was not happy. Teddy does not let much get him riled up but Summer has always had that ability.

What happens when Summer returns to find so many changes? Will she be able to befriend Teddy again or will they be strangers with history? What happens when the reason Summer actually came home comes up? Can you help someone heal while being broken yourself?

Read this book to find out if these two are destined to be enemies or friends.

This is the fourth book in the Bluestone Series and it was a great addition. Summer is back in Bluestone County as life has not turned out as she planned. Teddy, retired from the Navy, returns to Bluestone County and buys the local bar. Both Summer and Teddy have a history and what unfolds as these two rekindle and work through some obstacles is an engaging and well written read. It was a treat to be back in Bluestone County and to cross paths with characters from previous books. This book, and the whole series, is totally not to be missed. Recommend.
