This is my first book by this author and I enjoyed it. This book has a little bit of everything in it from suspense to romance. There are a few twists and turns that I didn’t see coming that kept me on the edge of my seat waiting to see what would happen next. I enjoyed Larkin’s character as she was is this strong woman but there were a few times we got to see a different side of her. I won’t say too much as it will give the story away but I highly recommend this book.

This is my first book by this author and I loved it! This author wrote a story that is creative and easy flowing. I was pulled right into the story from the first word and I couldn’t put it down until the last. I loved meeting the Brothers and Bella and hearing their story. They are loveable and connectable. There is so much to this story but it really is about second chances. Fritz and Bella’s chemistry is strong and I found myself hoping for a happy ending. I highly recommend this book.

This is my first book by this author and I enjoyed it from beginning to end. This is a story about second chances and forgiving. I enjoyed how the author’s attention to details made me feel as if I was right there with the characters. The characters took me on an emotional roller coaster ride that had me laughing to crying. Rebecca and Ryan have both been hurt before and trusting fate is a chore for them. Will they trust fate to find the happiness they deserve? I highly recommend this book

This is the third book in this series and it keeps getting better and better. I loved how the characters are relateable and connectable. The chemistry between Jessica and Tim is off the charts. Problem is that Tim has a past and he is not so willing to open up to Jessica. Will Jessica wait for him to open up to her or is it too late? This story took me on an emotional roller coaster ride of various emotions that kept me going back for more. I highly recommend this book.

Fletcher – Review by Bobbi Wagner
This is a paranormal story that has just a little bit of everything in it from action to hot steamy romance. This book pulled me in right from the beginning and kept me engaged until the end. Delaney and Finn are characters that are attracted to each other from the start. They made me feel as if I was right there with them. One is running from love and the other is running from her past. Will Finn save her and finally give in to fate? A great start to a new series! I highly recommend this book
This is a paranormal-ghost romance set that I loved and is a must read. Three women each looking for one thing, love. The Chateau Rouge is a hotel that secrets and if only the walls could talk, oh the tales! I loved the characters in this book. They are connectable and lovable. They took me on a journey of finding themselves along with a chance of love at the same time. It left me sitting on the edge of my seat just waiting to see what would happen next. I highly recommend this book!

This is my favorite book by this author yet. It is an emotional story about a woman, Molly, who doesn’t feel very good about herself and learns to make changes with her life. She takes us on an emotional roller coaster ride that at times made me laugh to a few tears. Molly is a strong character with some insecurities. I enjoyed watching her grow throughout the story. It is a young adult book about being proud of who you are and I enjoyed it. I enjoyed how this story pulled me in right from the beginning and made me feel as if I was right there in the story. I enjoyed the characters are they were lovable and relateable. Jeff was my favorite even though I felt some compassion for him. I enjoyed watching him grow throughout the story and become the person he truly is. An emotional roller coaster with some twists and turns, I highly recommend this book.
This is one of my favorite authors and I loved this book. I love how I am able to be pulled in right from the beginning. Garret’s story will show you that sometimes bad things happen to open up a door for something awesome. I loved his character. I had so much compassion for him, just when good happens for him, life happens. His chemistry with Juli is off the charts and I really wanted to see them have a HEA but you will have to read this book to find out. I highly recommend this book!

Shifting Ground: A Short Story Collection by Alice Rachel is a collection of short stories about the characters in her Underground series. Each of the stories are connected in one way or another. I love this because we get to see each character on their own and then they pop back up later in one of the other books. Each of the characters have a struggle of some type that makes them unacceptable to the public. The setting with these characters are such that there is a division of poor and rich. They are all connectable and take me on an emotional roller coaster ride that make me laugh and sometimes make me feel compassion for them. This is a must read book and I would suggest reading the previous books in this series. I highly recommend this book. Find out what happens to each of these 12 characters.

Power Play: 39 Juniper Court (The Juniper Court Series by Lainie Suzanne is part of The Juniper Court series. These books are written by an awesome group of authors that will take you on a journey through Juniper Court. I highly suggest reading all of the books in this series, you won’t regret picking them up. This is my first book by this author and I loved it! I can’t wait to see what else she has for me to read. Her writing style is easy flowing and engaging. Her attention to details made me feel as if I was right there with the characters. Her characters are lovable and connectable. They took me on a journey of hot steamy romance, laughter and compassion. I couldn’t put their story down until the last page. In this installment we get to see Nina and Sully’s story. Now that the children have left to their own lives, Nina feels like she wants to get back what her and Sully had before the children. She feels that they need a little spicing up in their relationship so she does some research to do just that. Will they find that kink that is missing since they had their children? I love these two characters. Sully made me laugh a few times with his attitude and behavior. I felt bad for Nina, she tries so hard to get something put back in her relationship. They do have a great relationship and they have great chemistry together. Without giving to much away with this book, I highly recommend you read Nina and Sully’s story. You don’t want to miss it. Find out if they are able to find their kink back!
Fighting For Keeps: A Paranormal Shifter Romance (Rocky River Fighters Book 2) by Grace Brennan is the second book in her Rocky River Fighters series. I fully enjoyed the first book and I loved the second. It has easily become my favorite book of this authors. This author’s writing style is easy flowing and pulls me in from the beginning of the book until the very end. I read this book in one night and still looked for more after I finished it. Her characters are both connectable and lovable. They took me on an emotional roller coaster ride that had me laughing one minute and a couple of tears the next. In this installment you have Seth’s story. Seth has a past and secrets to hide. Ameila’s uncle has just passed away and has left his farm to her. She has come back to take care of some repairs so she can sell it and go back to England. Her uncle ran the fights in his barn and she has decided to continue the fights until she sells. This is where she meets Seth. She has had no time for romance nor a good experience with it so she wasn’t expecting to find that she is attracted to him. But the problem is that she has some secrets of her own. They both need to deal with their secrets but what will happen when they do? Will she run if she finds out what he really is? Is it possible that fate has a future in mind for them? I loved both of these characters. Seth has some issues that he needs to deal with. He doesn’t feel that he is good enough for Ameila so learning to believe in himself is a big thing. He is fighting his leopard about his feelings for her. Ameila starts out with an investigation but she finds so much more. She is a strong, independent woman who has a little soft side that makes her a little clumsy at times around Seth. I love the chemistry and attraction between these two. They are just made for each other. The secondary characters are just as great and I loved seeing them from the previous book. I hope we get to see others from this group. I highly recommend this book. You have to see what happens between Seth and Ameila and what fate has in store for them.

Project Paradise (The Juniper Court Series) by Phoebe Alexander is part of The Juniper Court series that is written by various authors. I have also read the second book in this series and I loved it. I highly recommend this book and this series. This book is not for anyone under the age of 18, it will certainly heat you up! This is my favorite book of this authors. It pulled me in right from the start and I couldn’t put it down until I read The End! Her writing style is easy flowing and engaging. Her characters pull you into the story with ease. They are connectable and lovable. This is the story of Valley and David. They have just moved to Juniper Court. David is always urging Valley to make friends with the other moms. But you see, Valley is not like other mothers, she doesn’t enjoy the things they do. She is highly sexed and wants lots of it. This is what urges her to check the internet out about swing. She then becomes determined to make her basement into a swinger paradise but at what cost? She doesn’t care what anyone thinks about their lifestyle but she does wonder if there are others in her community that are swingers. Is this a lifestyle that their marriage is strong enough to take or will fate have something else in mind for them? There is no doubt that this book is hot and steamy! At the beginning I didn’t really care so much for Valley. I thought she was selfish and not a very good parent. I have no doubt that she loves her children and just has a different way of things. I loved watching her grow throughout this story and she has no filter to her mouth. She is a strong character and independent but she could work on her people skills. David is a sweet man who loves Valley so much that he pretty much goes with the flow with her until he couldn’t anymore. They took me on an emotional roller coaster ride that had me laughing one minute and needing ice water the next. They also took me on a few twists and turns that you won’t necessarily see coming but I needed to find out what happened next. The secondary characters are just as connectable and lovable. There are a couple that I didn’t care for their attitude towards Valley but they are true to life and made the story flow. This is a must read story and series! The Mother-In-Law by Judy Moore is suspenseful romance story. This is my first book by this author and I fully enjoyed it. I enjoyed how her writing style was easy flowing and engaging. Her attention to details made me feel like I was right there with the characters. Her characters are both connectable and true to life. They took me on a few twists and turns that I didn’t see coming and had me on the edge of my seat a few times. This is the story as a man and woman who meet in Las Vegas. They get married after a short time and he moves her back to his house. What he doesn’t tell her is that he has a five year old son and he lives with his mother. There are secrets lurking and they may not be good. Relationships may not be as they seem, what will happen when all is exposed? There are things that he never told her, will she leave when she finds out? At first, I wasn’t quite sure what to think about these characters. You have a woman who marries a man and doesn’t know him. You have a man who doesn’t want to stand up for himself and is willing to be pushed around. Then you have the mother in law who is completely nasty and is out to get the woman. I enjoyed all of them because they made up the story and without these characters the story wouldn’t be the same. But I thought maybe there could be a little more to them then there was. Find out if this mother in law will finally get her new daughter in law out of her house or if the daughter in law will convince her husband to leave. I highly recommend this book as it has a little bit of everything in it. I found myself wanting to know what would happen next and you will find yourself the same way.

Chains of Life (Perception Book 6) by Shandi Boyes is the sixth book in her Perception series. This book can be read as a standalone but I highly suggest that you read all of the books in this series. This is not my first book by this author but I think it has just become one of favorites in this series. I enjoyed this book and had a hard time putting it down. This author’s writing style is easy flowing and kept me engaged until the last page. This story has a little bit of everything in it but be aware that there are adult situations that may offend some but it is also so much more. The characters in this book are both lovable and connectable. They will take you on an emotional roller coaster ride that had me laughing in parts and angry in others. This is Cleo’s story. Cleo is a struggling journalist until one chance meeting in an elevator. She runs into the most hot, sexy man that she doesn’t realize how he will change her life forever. What will happen when she realizes that she has been assigned to investigate this same man? He wants her and will stop at nothing to have her but will he destroy her or dominate her? What will she do? Will she give in to him or will she write her story? When she is faced with betrayal, she is broken but will fate have other things in store for her? I enjoyed Cleo’s character and the choice she is faced with. She is writing the story of her career but yet she finds herself attracted to the man she is writing about. They have such great chemistry but he is kind of like forbidden fruit for her. There is no doubt that they heat up the pages! She is quite but yet determined, she has this attitude about her that makes her lovable. He on the other hand, is hot and sexy. He will steal your heart at the same time making you not like him. The secondary characters in this book help make this story flow and I wouldn’t change them, good or bad. I would highly recommend this book. You will need to see what happens when Cleo is faced with a decision that will change her life forever!

This book is awesome! This is the third book in this author’s The Glacial Blood Series. I highly recommend that you read all books in order to get the full enrichment of this series. I was excited to see Tyler and Teagan get thier own story! This story has a little bit of everything in, action, revenge, suspense, and of course hot romance. This story has some twists and turns that you won’t see coming and you certainly don’t want to miss them! This story is really about Teagan and her search for realizing that being different is not always bad. She is clutsy and has just taken a new job but will she regret taking it? Will the Glacial Blood Pack soon learn that there is more to her then just kindness? I totally loved her character! She is strong, has some attitude and knows what she wants. Tyler has some problems of his own but will it effect his relationship with Teagan? I highly recommen this book, I know you are going to want to see Tyler and Teagan’s story! Is it possible that there is a happy ending for them?

Goddess of The Wild Thing by Paul DeBlassie III is a fantasy-thriller story with some romance mixed in. This is my first story by this author and I can’t wait to see what else he has for us. I enjoyed his writing style that pulled me in from the beginning. His attention to details where descriptive and made a situation or item stand out more. His characters where creative and interesting. They will take you on some twists and turns that will leave you sitting on the edge of your seat just waiting to see what will happen next. You never know what you might find lurking in the next page. This is the story of Eve who has had some bad experiences with men and has pretty much given up on love. Then she meets him, will he be able to change her opinion on love? Eve and her three friends go on a journey of discovering if one should just take what they can get good or bad. They meet some wicked witch who has a obsession with a man that could be threatening and put lives in danger. Eve struggles with deciding if she should take a chance on love but a battle between good and evil just might make it an easy choice for her. I enjoyed the characters in this story as well as the secondary characters. These four women has kind of a strange relationship with each other as they are friends but don’t always seem to like each other. They each have their own qualities that make them strong characters. They will just take you on a journey to find love that will leave you wanting to know more. I highly recommend this story as it is an easy flowing story that you won’t be able to put down until the last page. Find out if these four women find the love they are looking for.

Common Ground: Kayla and Taylor’s Story by Alice Rachel is part of her Underground series. This is a series that can be read as a standalone but you will get to see characters from other books in this series in each story. One of the things I love most about this author is that she creates stories that are in different perspectives of the characters. I love how she can pull me into this underground world of different laws and where status makes a difference. Her characters are creative, connectable and true to life. They will take you on a roller coaster ride of various emotions from laughter to anger. In this installment of her Underground series is Kayla and Taylor’s story. Taylor and Kayla are neighbors that never expected to fall for each other. Taylor’s life is all that easy for him. His sister is about to get married. Kayla has not had the best of relationships in the past, she was determined to not fall in love with Taylor. She was done putting up with men’s stuff but when other forces step in will she have more to be concerned about then falling in love? Then you have Karen, Taylor’s sister who doesn’t want to get married to the man her father chose for her. Her problem is that she is more attracted to women then men. What will happen when her fiance is determined to marry her no matter what? There is three stories going on in one with this book. They are all linked together in one or another and each of their lives have other forces that could change them. These are some strong characters, they are feisty and they are not afraid to break rules. They bring attraction, passion and heat to this story. I loved that we get to see what their lives where life before we met them in other books. They will pull at your heart strings but you won’t want to put this story down. I couldn’t put this book down and read from beginning to end in one sitting. I highly recommend this book as I know you will want to see what Taylor and Kayla’s story is. You don’t want to miss this one!

Fighting the Lies (Glacial Blood Book 2) by Anna Edwards is the second book in her Glacial Blood series. I highly recommend you reading the first book before this one as it picks up where the first left off. I think that it is fair to say that this is becoming one of my favorite series and my favorite for this author. I loved this book as much as the first one! I couldn’t put it down, I read it in one sitting. I love her writing style as she keeps me engaged and pulls me into the story from the first word until the very last. Her attention to details are such as you will feel as if you are right there with the characters. This story is romance, mystery and suspense. I loved the twists and turns and how they left me sitting on the edge of my seat waiting to see what will happen next. This story focuses on Emma and Scott. Find out what happens when Emma is held captive and her life is threatened. Emma has been accused of killing her father and has been put on trial. Will she be saved or will her life come to an end? I loved both of these characters. They are connectable and true to life. They will just pull you into their world of shifters and take you on a journey of suspense. Both of these characters are put into a position that they have no idea what to do with. They have great chemistry and attraction. They both just want to save the other but what they do may make them lose everything. There are a few twists that you don’t want to miss and I won’t mention them here to give it away for you but you don’t want to miss them. I loved that we got to see characters from the first book too and can’t wait to see which characters get their own story next. Honestly, all of the characters in this story are strong. They each have their own personality and their own magic. They are all supportive to each other and willing to do what needs to be done. Some are feisty and others are just plain nasty. But this story wouldn’t be the same without them. This series shows you that family doesn’t always mean blood related. I highly recommend you read this book and the series. I know you will want to see if Emma’s life is spared and if Emma and Scott ever find their HEA. They will leave you with a book hangover for sure and leave you with the feeling of wanting more.

High Ground / Craig: A Short Story (Under Ground #0.9) by Alice Rachel is part of her Under Ground series. This story can be read as a standalone but I highly suggest you go back and read the previous books. They are just as awesome and one of the things I love most about this author is that even though these books are standalones they are still connected in some type of way. You get to see a little bit of everyone. This is one of my favorite series. They are engaging, they pull you in from the first word and you won’t be able to put them down. I love this author’s writing style. When she does the flashbacks, they are easy to follow and not confusing. Her attention to details are such that you will feel like you are right there in the middle of the action. Her characters are lovable and connectable. They are true to life and will take you on a journey that you won’t soon forget. This book is the story of Craig. He finds out that his parents has been killed in an accident. This confuses him because his parents are lower class and they don’t own a car. Because he is not quite of age, he has become part of the state. What will happen to him? Craig lives in a time when there a couple of new laws being put in place for the lower class. How will they effect him? Is he safe or is there a danger lurking after him. Craig is a character that thinks for himself, he is strong and independent. He knows what he wants and how to get it. He is not afraid to push limits to get what he needs. The secondary characters in this story are just as strong as he is. I can’t wait to see if they get their own books! They are supportive to him for the most part but of course you always have some you don’t really care for. There a couple you will question what they really want and where their morals are but it is what makes the story what it is. I highly recommend this story. I know you will want to see what happens in this next installment of Under Ground. Find out what Craig’s story is!

Controlling Heritage (The Control Series Book 5) by Anna Edwards is the fifth book in her The Control series. This story can be read as a stand alone. This is the first book I have read in this series and I know that I will be going back to read the previous four books. One of my favorite things I love about this author is her writing style and her attention to details. I know that when I open one of her books that I am going on a journey that I will not want to put down. I know exactly what I am getting with her books and this one didn’t disappoint either. This story is full of hot, steamy romance and BDSM. This story has some suspense that will leave you sitting on the edge of your seat. You will fall in love with these characters as they pop off the page and right into your life. Find out what happens to these characters as they start a journey of romance and things they never expected to find.
Sophie North is a young woman who has had some emotional situations that haunt her in a way. She is the sister of James North who had been beaten because of his BDSM life style which you can gain some perspective on from websites similar to www.fuckedgay.xxx. This has left her scarred and now she hides her real self behind her career of personal assistant. What she really wants is for someone to own her. What will happen when she meets him?
Grayson Moore is a Native American movie star that has a slutty reputation. He likes his alcohol, fast cars and women who are just as fast. But is he now looking for something more? When he fires his PA, he hires her. He never expected to fall for her. Will he give up his ways for her?
Sophie and Grayson are so great together. They were attracted to each other from the second they set eyes on each other. I loved that she was speechless when she looked at him. They are both such strong characters that it was hard to pick a favorite character. He is just so controlling, handsome and so giving to her. She just wants to be controlled by him although she can be sassy when she wants to be. The suspense these characters bring to this story is mind blowing and you won’t want to miss it. The secondary characters are just as great and really do make the story complete. They are supportive towards Sophie and Grayson. This story is really about being true to yourself and accepting who you are. I found is awesome that Sophie grows so much in this story and just plain learns to accept things for what they are. You will have to read this story to see what I am talking about.
This is my third story by Anna Edwards and I totally am in love with her books and her characters. Her story is engaging and will keep you reading until the last word. I totally lost track of time in this story and couldn’t put it down. You will love how it is fast paced. I would have a glass of ice water sitting next to you because you will need it with this couple. I highly recommend this story as I know you will want to see what happen when a movie star and his PA get together!
The Touch of Snow (The Glacial Blood Book 1) by Anna Edwards is a paranormal romance that will leave you wanting more. This book has a little bit of everything in it, anything from laughter, to compassion to of course hot steamy romance. This is the second book I have read by this author and I can’t wait to get my hands on more, she just blows my imagination away. One of the things that I love most about this author is her creativity with her characters. They just find a way to pull you into their world and make you feel like you are right there with them. Another thing that I love about this author is her ability to keep me engaged and the way she pulls me into her stories from the first word. This story has a few twists and turns that you won’t want to miss but will keep you on the edge of your seat and the hot steamy romance will leave you wanting a cold bath. Find out what happens to these characters as they start a journey that will change their lives forever.
Selene Harper is a woman who doesn’t know really a lot about herself, honestly you could say nothing. She is not sure who or what she is. When she touches you, she can her your thoughts. This is not a good thing when you are new to town and looking to make new friends and go on dates. What will happen when she is thrown into a world of shape shifting bear, wolves and wild cats?
Brayden Dillion is a shape shifting snow leopard. His role is the lead assassin for the Glacial Blood Pack but he has already been told when he will mate and when he will be made a sentinel. His problem has been that he can’t find his life mate. What he doesn’t realize is that when he goes to visit is his mother, how his life will change.
Selene and Brayden’s relationship has been one where they seem to have a connection from the first time they meet. He is this alpha male and she is confused about what she is. She is afraid of everything because of her gift that she doesn’t understand. She just want to be like everyone else and most of all not hear everyone’s thoughts that she touches. Their story is really a discovery of finding out why they are what they are. Will she learn what family really means? In my opinion they are both really strong characters. Once Selene comes into her own, watch out. She appears to be this quiet little female but is she really? Brayden is strong, gorgeous, tall and just wants to make her his. Keeping her safe is his priority. The secondary characters in this book will make you laugh and also at times make you angry. You will love some and hate some all at the same time. I can’t wait to see what book 2 will bring with the next two characters. You will just fall in love with all these characters. Find out what happens with Selene and Brayden as they face struggles together. Will they find out why they are the way they are? Will they find a way to be together and have their HEA? You will have to read to find out!
This is my second book by Anna Edwards and there is no doubt I will be going back for more. Anna lives with her husband, two children and two cats. She spends most of her time writing although she still does some accounting which she has done in the past. She enjoys making and eat cake and taking photographs. This is a fast paced story that you will not be able to put down. I couldn’t put it down, I needed to see what was going to happen with these two characters. I highly suggest this book as I know you will want to see what happens on Selene and Brayden’s journey to discovering what and why they are.

Terrance: A Short Story (Under Ground #.8) by Alice Rachel is part of the the Under Ground series. I would recommend reading the previous books in this series so that you have some background knowledge of some of the characters. This story is about Terrance which we seen a little bit of in Aiko story. One thing that I enjoy about this author is that we get to see some of the characters from the other books in this series. She also have great character development and her attention to details makes you feel like you are right there. The other thing that I enjoy the most with this authors book is her ability to pull me into the story from the first word. You will enjoy the connect these characters have and they are true to life. Find out what Terrance’s story is.
Terrance Young is no stranger to being bullied, the teasing and harassment is a constant in his life. His family is less understanding of him. They think he choose to become gay just to complicate their lives. The sting is deep from the little rejections that they show him. Just when he thought things couldn’t get worse for him, they passed the Deviance Law. He could be put to death with just one little touch, kiss, or a mere look. He tries to hide his orientation until one night when things seemed to change everything for him. This is when he meets him. He is strong, gorgeous, kind hearted and Terrance feels and instant attraction to him.
Chase Martinez is a rebel from the Under Ground. He is kind hearted and gorgeous. Terrance knows that loving Chase is dangerous but is he worth the chance? He is done hiding and letting people tell him what to do. He wants to be the one to dictate his own life not someone else. He is tired of living in fear. Will he be able to stop himself from falling for Chase?
Terrance is a strong character that has been through so much. The loss of a mother he never knew, having to hide who he really is as a person. I give him a lot of credit for just deciding that he has had enough and starts to fight back. Chase is just as strong but honestly, he just wants to protect what is his even though he won’t acknowledge Terrance as anything. He has his own demons that he is hiding and trying to control. Together these two really make the story flow and the secondary characters just add to the story. You never know which characters you will see in the next book. Find out what will happen between these two, are they meant to be together or will fate have other ideas for them.
I enjoy each and every book in this series by Alice Rachel. I can’t wait to see what comes next. Alice loves spending time with her husband and guinea pigs. When she is not writing, she teaches French, reading and drawing. Once again, this author has created a story that you will totally lose yourself in. You will lose track of time and things going on around you. It is a fast story that you will not want to put down until you see the end. This story will keep you engaged until the end and you won’t want to miss the end! I highly recommend this story and all the rest of this series. You need to see what happens with all these characters!

Controlling Darkness (The Control Series Book 4) by Anna Edwards is the fourth book in her series, The Control. This is the first book I have read of hers and in this series and I can’t wait to go back and read the others. This story can be read as a standalone but if the others are as great as this one then I recommend reading the entire series. This story is about two people who has painful pasts but that pain can become love. This story is full of action, suspense and of course, hot, steamy romance. One of the things I love about this author is her attention to detail and her development of these characters. These characters will take you on a roller coaster ride of various emotions that will keep you engaged until the end. This story will pull you in from the first word and keep you wanting more from these characters. Find out what happens to these two people as they learn trust and let themselves heal.
Sonia Anderson has just taken a new job as a bodyguard and one that will change her life forever. She is assigned to the role of guarding Amy North, girlfriend of a billionaire, James North. The psychological evaluations don’t show anything about the secrets she holds when she was growing up. Her scars represent a world that is out of her control.
Matthew Carter is sharp, a master at his trade and long time standing bodyguard for James North. His past involves being responsible for the death of a colleague, not just any colleague, his wife. The revelations of the misguided control are explored here in Controlling Darkness.
Sonia and Matthew’s relationship is one that I believe there was attraction from the beginning. They both have pasts that have left scars and demons that need to be dealt with. Will they heal one another? Will they learn to forgive? When they are faced with danger, what will happen to them? Together these two are sweet and strong. She is independent and stubborn. She is strong and can be a little feisty at times. He is strong and dominant. He just wants to keep her safe and help her gain self confidence back that she lost as a child. You will love them together and they really do make this story flow. They complement each other and have a way of pushing the other to deal with things they don’t think they are ready for. The secondary characters are just as awesome. I hope we get to see more from them in the future. They complete the story and help keep it engaging. Find out what happens to this couple as they are faced with their demons, are they safe? Will they find their HEA or will fate have other things in store for them?
This is my first story by Anna Edwards and I know it will not be the last. I can’t wait to go back and read the rest of this series and can’t wait to see what the next installment of this series will bring. Anna lives with her husband, two children and two cats. She spends most of her time writing although she still does some accounting which she has done in the past. She enjoys making and eat cake and taking photographs. You will love how this story just pulls you into their world. You will find yourself getting lost in their world and hoping for them to get their HEA. You will find yourself getting mad at certain times but also needing ice water to cool off in other parts. This story is fast paced and I couldn’t put it down until the end. There are some twists and turns that you won’t want to miss or see coming. I highly recommend this story as I know you will love this story as much as I do.
Standing Ground (Under Ground) (Volume 3) by Alice Rachel is the third book in the Under Ground series. This book is a continuation of Thai story from Book 1. I would recommend reading these books in order and read the previous books before this one as it picks up right after book 1. I think this series gets better and better with everyone book I read. You will enjoy how this author has created characters that really connect with each other and you will find yourself connecting with them. This story like the others, will pull you in from the first word. These characters will take you on an emotional journey of sadness, anger and compassion. Find out what happens next with Thai as her journey continues.
This book picks up right where Book 1 left off with Thai. Now that she has her mother back, she is struggling with what her mother wants verses what she wants to do. The under ground is doing their best on providing for the people who are living there. Why are they all of sudden getting sick? Could the authorities poisoning more than just their water? Tai knows what she must do, try to save them. What will happen when a raid goes bad? Will it put everyone in more danger? Are they ready for a fall out that could be bigger then what they realize? What will happen when secrets are found out and identities are hidden? Will they survive or will it kill their very existence?
Tai will have to make some serious decisions, what will she do? Will her choice put them more in danger or will they see an end? Thai and Chi’s relationship also continues in this story. They are strong together and seem to be meant to be together. He helps her find the strength that she needs to fight. As in the other stories you will see her grow stronger and stronger through all the books. She really does seem to come into herself in this story and that just makes her a strong character. The author is taking her character from being a shelter girl to a full fledged rebel. Find out how the strong the author has made this character.
This is my third story by Alice Rachel and I know it won’t be the last. I can’t wait to see what happens with these characters next. I enjoy each of her books more with each one I read next. Alice loves spending time with her husband and guinea pigs. When she is not writing, she teaches French, reading and drawing. This author has created a story that you will read in one sitting. She created a story that has so many twists and turns and have you sitting on the edge of your seat on minute and needing Kleenex the next. This is a real page turner that you will lose yourself in and just lose track of time. You will need to see what happens with these two. I highly suggest this story as I know you will want to take the journey with Thai and watch her grow through each story.
Akio: A Short Story (Under Ground #.5) by Rachel Alice is part of the Under Ground series. If you haven’t started reading this series yet, I recommend you start. Although this is part of the Under Ground series, it can be read as a stand alone as in this story we get introduced to a new character. This book is a little different than the others in this series but you will enjoy the characters introduced. One of the things I enjoy about this author is her ability to write about so many different characters with so many different views. You will enjoy these characters as they take you on a roller coaster ride of various emotions that include compassion, anger and hope. Find out what happens to these characters as they start their journey of life and its struggles.
Akio is a young man who has lost his mother and lives with an alcoholic father. He lives during a time that the Deviant Law has been passed where his life changes for the worst. He is forced to hide his orientation but once he gets the courage to come out to one person that he trusts. Will he learn to regret his choice? What will happen when his father throws him out for being a devrient? Sometimes fate works in mysterious ways and fate may have other plans. What will his fate be? Will he ever trust again?
Akio is a strong character that really comes into his own by the end of the book. He feels that he will never recover and be with anyone again. He has had to grow up the hard way but I think that he is a better person for it. He has supporting characters that really add to this story. They make the story flow to what it is and it is what helps keeps you engaged in this story. Find out what happens to Akio as he starts a journey he never expected to take. What does fate have in store for him?
I enjoyed meeting a new character in this series by Alice Rachel. In every installment of this series, she never seems to surprise me more until I get into the story and she throws a twist to it. Alice loves spending time with her husband and guinea pigs. When she is not writing, she teaches French, reading and drawing. Once again she has created a story that is fast paced and will keep you reading until the end. You will want to see what happens with these characters. You will read this story in one sitting and you won’t put it down until you are done. I highly recommend this story as I know you will want to see what happens with this character as he starts a journey on finding himself.
