Tori Foster has dreams she keeps to herself until the time is right to show her talent. Her father Justin Foster is a legendary bronc rider. Cord King is just starting his rookie season and doing quite well. His father is also a legend. Both want to make it out in the bronc world. This may be a man’s sport but can it stop Tori? There is also Cord. Can he coexist with a woman in the field of bronc riding? Better yet can these two get along as well as resist each other? This author has opened a new genre for me. Cowboys and Cowgirls what a great story this was. I love the strong woman Tori portrays. The fast paced story will keep you reading and the next thing you know The End appears. I have read many books from this author and have enjoyed everyone. Now I must go back and read the other books in this series.

Read this if you:
*Like Rodeo’s and romance
*Appreciate an independent, strong willed female protagonist

Meet the Author: Brooke May spends her days writing and her evenings reading while she works alongside her mom. From a young age she has told everyone who would listen what she had thought up. Now a mom of two, she splits her time writing, playing with her kids, and hiking, hunting, fishing, and four wheeling in the Bighorn mountains.

Synopsis: Tori has big dreams! After practicing in secret, she is ready to saddle up and show the world what she is made of. Cord, in his rookie season, is trying to live up to the hype of his father. Both families are well known in the bronc rider community. Will these two young riders keep their head in the game or will thoughts of each other cause the focus to become cloudy?

Reader’s Thoughts: My Bronc Riding Cowgirl is the 6th installment in the My Cowboy Series written by Brooke May. Although this book is part of a series, it can be read as a standalone. This is the first book I have read by May, and I am hooked. It excites me to know that it is the 6th book, meaning I have many more to go back and read! This was a quick afternoon read for me but kept me wanting more. The characters were loveable, and the relationships never felt forced. May put a smirk on my face with the scene on the plane with the matchmaker grandma. I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys romance, especially sports romance.

Favorite Quote: “Anything you can do; I can do better.”

My Bronc Riding Cowgirl is the sixth book in My Cowboy Series. I absolutely loved reading this book and found myself lost in the pages and couldn’t put it down till I finished. I’ve read several books by this author but this one definitely tops the list for me. Her style of writing and amazing characters make for a epic story. I felt like I was apart of the story. You know the saying “anything you can do,I can do better”, Well these two are about to find out which can do better. Will Cord see the true talent Tori really has? Does she have the will power not to become distracted? I highly recommend reading this fast paced story to find out what happens next. I can’t wait to read more from this Author.

I always enjoy the books and characters that this author writes and creates. I always find the story is realistic, and things you feel as you read, are as real as possible! Quite a cavitation to read!

This story sucked me in right from the start, a rodeo story that has romance is something right after my own heart! Tori and Cord were great characters, I loved what was between them and the feeling development as well as character development. I did not wish to stop reading, I wanted to know how this story would turn out! Both Tori and Cord were relatable in different ways, and I felt where each was coming from. The story went at a good pace, and was a wonderful joy to read! Loved it!

Great and enjoyable story! Was sucked in from the first page. Really happy I got to enjoy another book by this gifted author. I highly recommend this must read book as well as a must read author!

This book is book 6 of the series. This book can be read as a standalone. It’s the first book I’ve read of the series and I don’t feel like I missed anything.

Cord is a talented bronc rider. It’s his rookie season but he is well on his way to making a name for himself. That would impress most people however, Tori has skills of her own and is determined to share that talent with the world. She has no problem showing everyone what she’s got. So much so that Cord feels pretty jealous watching Tori do her thing and snag the attention. Can these two work or will the jealousy and distraction be too much for them?

I enjoyed this book. It sucked me in and I couldn’t read it fast enough. It’s very well written as well as relatable. The characters work really well together and I enjoyed reading their story.

I love myself a good romance, but I’ve never jumped into the country western rodeo type romance till now. I was not disappointed, I thoroughly enjoyed it. My Bronc Riding Cowgirl was different in a great way! This is not the first book by this author I’ve read, but the first in this series. Now I need to go back and read them all. Don’t get me wrong this works perfectly well as a standalone romance. I just like reading things in succession. But I digress.
Tori and Cord are essentially Rodeo Bronc riding royalty. Both of their father’s were well known throughout the rodeo world. Cord following in his father’s footsteps, a given. The unexpected was that Tori wanted to bring it to the forefront that it’s not just a men’s playing field. Women can do it too. Might also help that she’s always wanted to do it, though women were expected to do the barrel races.
Cord’s dad pretty much told him “don’t let this become bigger than yourself.” He heard the words but did he really digest them? Tori opened his eyes, made him see. She humbled him the minute she put him in his place. He would forever be a goner.
Tori resisted with all her might. But nothing could keep her away from him. But can they coexist in a man’s sport? Can cord accept that women can do it too?
This author writes a story with a lot of substance and a strong female lead. Which I love. This author is becoming a favorite of mine, she doesn’t disappoint!

My Bronc Riding Cowgirl is the sixth book in the My Cowboy series by Brooke May. I have read quite a few of Ms. May’s books now, and as I have mentioned previously, I really love how well developed her characters are and how realistic and believable they seem- and how easily they are able to pull me into their ‘world’ and get me entirely invested in them and the outcome of their story.
This contemporary western romance has drama, chemistry, angst, finding love unexpectedly, emotion- and set amongst the bronc riding circuit. Cord and Tori are wonderful characters and were perfect for each other.
Even though this is the sixth book in the series, it can be read as a standalone. But, having said that though, I recommend getting your hands on the entire series as there is plenty to love about the previous five books- with lots of other characters to get to know.
Looking forward to seeing what comes next!

Thank you, Brooke May!

I enjoyed reading this romance book. This is not my first book by this author but it is one of my favorites by her yet. One of the things I enjoy about this author is her ability to pull me into her stories with her writing skills. This book is no different. The characters pull you into the story and make you feel as if you are part of their world. This is an easy and entertaining story to read. It is fast paced and hard to put down. I enjoyed the growth of the characters as well as the plot throughout the story. A romance story where competing could be more important than love. What will happen between Tori and Cord? I enjoyed them as characters, they made the story for me. I highly recommend this book and this author.

Oh my goodness, this is the best! Cord & Tori have the cutest chemistry. Tori has wanted to be a bronc rider since she was a young child. She is going to finally get the chance. Cord is the son of a family friend that comes to stay at Tori’s parents house. Oh, but the best part, he’s her competitor. She’s irritated and he just get’s under her skin. Hear that sizzle….the sound of a romance. Tori is an independent little spitfire that’s going to prove she can do what men can. The characters are fantastic. They are so relatable. I want to visit this town. The drama and romance make really feel like a cowboy town. The author has the feel just writing in the writing of the cowboy town. Perfect romance that’s a quick, enjoyable read. The ending will get you!!!

This is an amazing romance. Kennedy is one strong woman out to prove she can do what she wants, where she wants in whatever profession she wants. She doesn’t care if it’s a male dominated one. Hunter just wants to prove he’s more than a cowboy. He’s not just a rancher. I loved the chemistry between them. The story flows well. The drama and romance are perfect. This is a quick romance that is quite entertaining.

I enjoyed reading this book. This is a book about Cord whose family is close with Tori’s family. While Cord is in town for a competition, he is staying with Tori’s family.
Tori has been hiding a secret for quite some time. It’s almost time to Let her secret out. Everyone will know sooner rather then later. Tori has always wanted more. She loved her family, loved the horses but she needed more excitement In Her life. She’s been practicing in secret. Cord right away is attracted to Tori but, she of course, doesn’t give him the time of day. He thinks he’s better then her because he’s getting the fame as a newer bronc rider. Well he’s about to get company on his tour. Girls can do anything boys can do. Tori will prove that to Cord and her family soon enough.

I really loved the story of Cord and Tori. The author does an amazing job with the characters. The story is engaging and entertaining. I love Tori, she is an amazingly strong female lead and I love her determination to make a change.
She wants to join the male dominated world of bronc riding. She wants to compete with the best and she knows she has what it takes.
However it isn’t a female friendly sport and people have always told her that she would never be able to compete in such a male dominated sport.
Now she was going to prove them all wrong and pave the way for women to participate in this sport.
She will come up against some strong competition for this buckle including the current champ Cord.

Cord is currently doing well on the rodeo circuit and doesn’t see that changing until he sees his fellow competitor Tori. When Tori isn’t swayed by his charms at first Cord doesn’t know how to deal with such a strong willed and determined female but slowly he starts to break down the strong willed exterior to see the woman underneath.
Tori won’t make it easy for him though and with her main focus being on winning the rodeo and proving her friends and family wrong she can’t allow herself to be distracted by a handsome talented cowboy.

I really enjoyed seeing this relationship grow and bloom as they both learn to understand and respect the other person for their abilities and as friendship changes to something more can they both keep their head to focus on winning?

My Bronc Riding Cowgirl gives us the story of Cord, an up and coming rider in the rodeo world, and Tori, a fiercely independent women setting her sights on her own bronc riding dream and to follow in her father’s footsteps. Cord comes to stay with the family and is immediately drawn to Tori. She, however, is not swayed by his charm and only has her mind set on shocking her family and home town crowd in her debut in bronc riding. Cord slowly begins to break through Tori’s strong-willed barrier and the two ignite under the rodeo lights. This was a great read and a setting I don’t often get to experience in books. The characters were lovely and fun to get to know. I loved that Cord was comfortable with a strong female and that Tori was able to relax and show a softer side with Cord. Although this is part of a series, this can definitely be read as a standalone.

I have said it before and I will say it again, this wonderful author never ever disappoints and this book is yet another example of her fantastic writing. The lead characters Cord and Tori are truly wonderful and they captured me right from the start. Cord is a popular Bronc rider on the rodeo circuit who is doing really well when along comes Tori a strong willed woman and fellow competitor. She isn’t interested in the hype surrounding him so a smooth start is definitely not on the cards. This book can be read as a stand alone but I know I am definitely looking forward to reading more in this super fun series and I will definitely be going back to read them all from the series start. The side characters have me intrigued and I want to know more about them as well.

Kennedy is trying hard to be the absolute best she can be in a very male dominated field all while dealing with a slimy and very sneaky boss! Hunter is focused on his football and looking toward his future career. They definitely were not looking for each other but I think that makes finding love even more special right? The saying goes “anything you can do; I can do better.” In the case of Tori Foster, she may not do it better but she most certainly will do it.

Daughter of legendary saddle bronc rider, Justin Foster, Tori has big dreams she’s kept to herself and about to share what she’s capable of with the world. No good-looking cowboy is going to get in her way of reaching her goals and show what she’s made of.

Cord King is riding on high, top of his game for his rookie season as a saddle bronc rider. Media and female attention are plentiful until he arrives in Elk Field for their annual rodeo. Being the son of a legend as well as one in the making himself isn’t going to impress one feisty cowgirl who leaves him reeling after a verbal punch to the face. His spotlight is taken when Tori takes to the arena.

Can he overcome jealousy to see the talent Tori possesses?

Will Tori lose focus thanks to the distraction that is Cord?

Watch them compete in and out of the arena. Possibly, they could find something more than a championship buckle.

Squid (Moto X Book 5)

Levi is a man child whose favorite past time is woman, drinking and gaming.  He has watched his friends find their special ladies but he isn’t willing to risk his heart.

Kindle is a hero! She is strong, independent and has no problems telling a man (Levi) no.

Levi was a frustrating character but extremely likable in my opinion.   He put love in a box that he was unwilling to touch when it was really what he needed the most.

He had been through some stuff that scarred him, which most people have, he just didn’t handle it like an an adult would or should.

I enjoyed watching Levi grow up and change into the man he should have been.

I have read a few books written by this author and she didn’t disappoint me in this book either even though the main character is an A$$ everyone has their heart broken one time or another but we get over it and move on and grow up. The story line is awesome and different and the way this author describes the scenery is great.

Levi Crowe is known as the party boy he has all the money he needs and a body that woman drool over. Nobody knows why he is like this. After being rejected for the first time he is stunned and a series of events makes him make get his life back on track he runs into the first woman who rejected him Kindle James. Now mot only does he have to prove himself to family and friends now he has to prove the Kindle that he is a changes man.

What made Levi to become a playboy? Will he change his ways and how long before he changes? Will, he change for a woman or for himself?

You will have to read this great story….

I definitely loved this book and everything about it. I loved how Levi was rejected multiple times by the same woman. That causes a spiral for him and he is forced to go work at his fathers firm again. Then he realizes his job there is to assist the one woman who doesn’t fall for his charms…..Miss Kindle James. I absolutely love her character in the book. She’s strong, smart, beautiful and doesn’t take any garbage.
Unfortunately for Levi, he can’t seem to get away from the one girl that called him Daddy and thinks she’s gods gift to men. She’s all about herself and when he finally has had enough of her he tries to get rid of her by not being so nice. Levi has never been friends with a female and working side by side with Kindle, they grow a sort of friendship which he sees a plus for him. Once she is comfortable, maybe he can turn on the charm and win her over. Let’s not forget about Kindle’s roomie…..Will she be the reason Kindle walks away from Levi for good or will there be a happy ending? Such a great read from beginning to end. Loved it!!

Levi seems to have it all. Money, wild partying, a different girl every night… but really he’s covering up heartbreak.
one night while out partying he sees a goddess and cant get her out of his mind.
His father has had enough of his moping around and partying ways and makes him come to work as an assistant to prove himself under a new boss…. and who is his new boss…. you guessed it the goddess!

This is a story about a wild boy who turns into a man and reforms himself while perhaps finally understanding love. there is a lot of chemistry snark and banter to keep you entertained!

Right from the start, the story drew me in. Levi is a party boy that has a lot more going on in his head and heart than meets the eye. His antics at the start are entertaining to witness along side him. It also helps that the story is written in second person and even has moments where the MC engages with the reader to make you feel like you are being told a story from a friend. Once Levi starts putting an effort into putting his life on track, his world view totally changes, and he is put in a position where he is trying to reach a future, and trying not to let his past hinder him. The romance is quite sweet as well. Initially unrequited feelings that slowly start to turn into more. Also, Kindle is such an awesome and powerful female MC. The story is short, but didn’t leave me wanting. The romance seems quick, but was still satisfying. In general, this is a quick, fun, and spicy read that will be entertaining until the very end. This is book five in the series, and admittedly I did not read the others, but I had no trouble following along with the story. I do have the sense that there are many background stories with side characters that I am missing information on, so I definitely intend to go back and read the other books.

Another fantastic read by the author. Squid is the fifth book in the Moto X Series. This is the first book in the series that I’ve read. You will absolutely love this book.

Levi is the party boy in the group. He is known for having money at his fingertips, women falling at his feet, and doing what he wants when he wants. That’s until he meets a woman who challenges him. The quote I chose for Levi is: “The money. What? I know it isn’t as honorable as yours. I’m good at arguing and it was kind of just something I fell into. No family obligation or anything like that. I’m good at it and I knew I could make a shit ton of money doing it.”

Kindle is a divorce lawyer and works her butt off to do what she wants. She loves riding her bikes, but to do that she has to work hard. When she meets Levi she turns him down. Now he’s her assistant and she can’t help her feelings. The quote I chose for Kindle is: “I have to deal with petty fights from time to time, but there are cases like the one you just helped me with that makes me feel good about helping others. Why did you pick law?”

Highly recommended for Contemporary Romance lovers.
