As a sports lover, I loved our female lead in this story. She rang so true! May does a beautiful job writing this feel good story and developing two leads that you relate to and invest in. The story is a quick read and worthy of an afternoon of self care. Loved each page and look forward to seeing what this author brings us next. Lovely book.

Sports romances are a must read usually for me, throw in Brooke May as the author and I am there. I loved She’s No Cowgirl, the fifth book in the My Cowboy Series. Kennedy is a kick butt and take names lead female character. She does her best to fit in in a man’s world and truly wants to play football with the best of them. Unfortunately, or fortunate depending on how you look at it, she doesn’t find her niche quite like she does with writing sports. This brings Hunter into her life and these two are fabulous. I loved the push pull and the way things read so realistically. I felt as if I should be their own cheerleading section at times and found myself giggling at several points. Overall this was a nice escape read for a rainy Sunday afternoon when I needed a little light and happiness in my life. I can’t wait to see what we will get next from Brooke May!

Brooke May’s book was a great contemporary romance which was an easy, quick read. The dual perspectives from both love interest, Kennedy and Hunter were amazing in developing the characters, from their feeling for each other to their love of football. While this book was football orientated due to Hunter playing football in college and Kennedy being a sports reporter, this book could be enjoyed by everyone. I loved that Brooke May did not shy away from serious topics such as career pressure and Kennedy experiencing sexism in her work and due to her love of sports. Additionally, Brooke May highlights an important message throughout the book about following your dreams and never giving up despite all obstacles.

5 stars! I love romance stories centering around sports, and this one was even better because the female lead is a tough and independent woman, trying to succeed in fields where men usually dominate. At first I didn’t know what to expect with the first few chapters, it seemed like Kennedy was going to go on to play football, but because of men dominating the scene she was cast aside. So she does something else she is passionate about which is sports journalism. When the two meet and end up together, I love it, I love everything about their relationship and how Hunter loves Kennedy that much more because of the fact that she is not your average girl. I had a feeling something was about to go down since Kennedy is writing for the paper and here comes the sleazy Jonathan. I liked how he tried to turn it all back around on Kennedy in front of others, made me hate him so much more. I highly recommend this book, it has drama, romance and sports. Perfect read for me.

Ill be the first to admit that I’m a bit if an oddball. I am not a sports fan, we dont watch any at home or even have a “team” we like except our hometowns big names. But give me a sports romance book and I am glued to the pages! I loved reading about Hunter and Kennedy. They each have goals and will let nothing stand in their way. I enjoyed reading this and will go back and read this series, as this is a standalone and first I’ve read in this particular series. Great read for an afternoon!

She’s No Cowgirl was a wonderful read by Brooke May! I loved the characters and I found I was easily engaged in their story. I liked that this was a little different to what I anticipated, it was unpredictable and I was hooked the whole way through. I’ve read books by this author previously so I knew the writing would be good and I wasn’t disappointed. Hunter and Kennedy were great characters, they had a great connection and there was some good chemistry between them. Their passion for sport really shone through in the story and this definitely helped with their relationship. I’ve not read any of the other books in this series but I think I shall be looking for them. Overall a really enjoyable 4 star read and one that I would definitely recommend.

She’s No Cowgirl by Brooke May is the fifth book in the My Cowboy series. This book can be read as a standalone so you don’t need to have read the previous books in the series first. I thought this was a really good sport romance story. It was a sweet, fairly easy read but had great characters with a strong connection between them. I really thought that you could feel the connection between them. The story itself is entertaining too. With romance and scandal it made for a fun read and the whole way through I really wanted the characters to find a way to make their relationship work. The author paced the story well so that it built up nicely and really got you invested in the story! This was a great book and one I thoroughly enjoyed.

Characters are quickly developed and likeable, believable and you get invested in their lives. This book has a bit of everything in it, from the drama and secrets, to love and frustration, of hope and wonder. It is a tale of young love, of two people brought together for the love of their sports and finding their own way. I enjoy Brooke’s writing and I have yet to read a book I have not liked from her.

I loved reading the book She’s No Cowgirl (My Cowboy Series Book 5) by Brooke May. It is a story that had me hooked from the beginning. I love the characters of Hunter Masters and Kennedy McGraw. What will happen when a young man whose goal is to play football and a young woman who wants to be part of a male-dominated sports world find each other? Read this story to find out. This is a wonderful book that has a wonderful storyline and amazing characters. I grew to care about what happens to Hunter and Kennedy with each chapter that I read. I wanted them to succeed and to be happy. They have amazing chemistry and there are sparks when they are together. I love that Hunter and Kennedy both have a passion for sports and football and are determined to have bright futures. I also enjoyed reading about many of the additional characters that interact with Hunter and Kennedy. Don’t miss out on a story that you won’t be able to put down until the final page. I highly recommend reading.

She’s No Cowgirl is an entertaining sports romance by Brooke May. I have read a few of Ms. May’s books now and as I have mentioned previously, I love the way she brings her characters to life, and how easily she is able to get her readers invested in both the story and the characters. Her characters are so realistic and entirely believable. With some secrets, drama, and a little scandal- this story certainly held my attention the whole way through. I enjoyed this sports romance story. This is a well written story that has characters that made me feel as if I was right there with them. I had no issues connecting with them as they brought the story to life. They are well rounded which made the story easy to read and entertaining. Hunter wants nothing more than to prove that there is more to him than just ranching. Kennedy is out to prove that females can be just as strong in a male dominated world. When their worlds come crashing together, what will happen? Could one article change things for them? I enjoyed watching them grow throughout the story. They are strong and supportive and truly made great characters. I could easily imagine myself with them. This is not my first book by this author but it is one of my favorites. I highly recommend this book and this author.

This is the first book I have from this author and she blew my mind. I absolutely love sports romance but this author exceeded all my expectations. This is the fourth book in the Moto X series. You can read this book as a stand alone but there are previous characters in this story as well. I was so excited to read this story. I dropped everything and started it right away. I fell in love with these characters right away. I can’t wait to see what this author will write next.
Jax Hunt was on the top of the world of Moto crossing. He was the best of the best and one race changed all that. Jax is in a serious accident that causes him to be bound in a wheelchair. He now has a totally different life. Jax works for a company that plans events for Motocross racing but he knows he will never get on a bike again. This book was a good one! It wasn’t my first book by this author and it won’t be the last. I enjoyed the charcters and the i was pulled in by this authors writing style. Jax and Lennox are our main characters and they were amazing. They had so much to overcome and get through and it was a great story to watch unfold. I am looking forward to reading more by this author and i would recommend this anyone that likes a good heartfelt story.

Bottomed Out by Brooke May is such a great read. I enjoyed this book from the first page. I loved how strong of a character Jax is. He definitely defied the odds. He may not have his dream career but he has a great job and is great at it. His friends cheered him on every step of the way. When every thought he couldn’t do it, he did it and did it well.
He was always a stud but now, his luck has changed. When he meets Lennox, his luck changes. Jax and Lennox have chemistry right away. The only issue is her brother!!! He tries everything. He’s a very overprotective brother but, is Jax willing to give up and let him win? I loved the characters in this book and I loved the storyline. This was a great feel good read to show the average person , no matter what happens, you can always overcome just about anything.

I really have a bad habit of reading series out of order. This is the first book I have read from this author and I was not disappointed. I didn’t find it hard to keep up with what was going on or felt like I had missed anything. I really found the author’s style refreshing and the whole concept unique.
I really enjoyed the chemistry between Jax and Len. The characters really just came to life and I felt as though I was there as the story unfolded. There was just the right mix of drama and the romance. I found that everything just seemed to come together and I could not put the book down. I like how the author was able to incorporate Jax’s condition after his accident and how he was able to get back to his life. I look forward to reading more from this author in the future and this series.

This was a brilliant story full of drama, fun banter, friendships, steamy romance and so much more! This is novel that once you start you will struggle to put it down it really has that wow factor with a interesting storyline and amazing character’s. Bottomed Out by Brooke May is book four of the Moto C series. This book was so easy to fall into. It was such a good read!
Jax is strong willed. He has always achieved what he set out to achieve. If he puts his mind to it, he can accomplish it. The one thing he hasn’t been able to do is make people see him for more than his disability. He doesn’t have that problem when Lennox walks into his life. Lennox is immediately drawn to him and doesn’t define him by his disability. The only problem is Lennox’s over protective brother. Jax accomplishes everything he sets out to do, will he be able to fight for Lennox?
These characters were so great! I fell in love with both Lennox and Jax and couldn’t help but root for them the whole time!

Bottomed Out by Brooke May was a great 5 star read and book four in the Moto X series. I was pulled in right from the beginning.
Jax was a moto racer who had it all, women, money and so much more. That is until someone made a wrong move during a race and caused an accident that changed his whole life. He is tired of everyone giving him the pity looks at treating him differently. He is determined to prove that his disability won’t keep him down.
When he meets Lennox things change, she is just what he needs in his life. You can feel their connection come off the pages. She was a great character with a great personality. Only problem is her brother. Will he be able to make things work with Lennox?

Bottomed Out is the fourth book in the Moto X series by Brooke May. This was a wonderful story between Jax Hunt and Lennox Austin. Jax is disabled and is just trying to prove he can do anything that a fully able person can. He wants to change and has a wonderful support system behind him in his friends and family. Just when he is willing to push the limit, Lennox comes into his life. His attraction to Lennox becomes just as important to him as his mission to prove the world wrong about his disability. Jax has an overprotective brother that could get in the way between him and Lennox, but is he willing to risk it all to reach his dreams and goals? The author did a magnificent job portraying Jax’s feelings. Throughout the whole story I was able to feel right along with him. Jax was a true inspiration and it was a great story of his personal growth. There was laughter, there were tears, and there were true heartwarming moments as I experienced the relationship of Jax and Lennox.

I absolutely loved this story – from the very beginning until the end I was hooked! I have read a few books by this author now and I really love her writing style. This is the first book that I have read from this series though and I am really looking forward to reading the ones that come before this one. I just loved Jax! With everything in his life the one thing that comes across the most is his determination and that just leapt off the pages at me. He feels that he has a lot to prove and he wasn’t going to let anything stop him. I really liked Lennox too; she had a great sassy side to her! I was rooting for Jax and Lennox from the moment that they met! I really enjoyed this story and would absolutely recommend it to other readers!

Bottomed Out (Moto X Book 4) by Brooke May is a romance story and one of my favourites by her. Brooke is able to write a story with emotions in just the right way that always leaves you wanting more. This one is both a little heartbreaking and heartwarming. There is a twist that certainly makes things interesting.
Jax is a sweetie but he is dealing with a disability that makes him feel like he isn’t the man he used to be but his emotions are all over the place when a certain woman walks into his life and an overprotective brother .

I have not read the first three that I understand go together and after finishing Bottomed Out, I need to pick them up as I want to learn about Axle and Paige and yes, you could read Bottomed Out as a standalone in a sense that it is a story in its own rights but as you can see from my statement, I feel that I need to go back to the beginning of the series … I have read Brooke May’s writing before and her Back in the Ring is something that I still remember at times and that makes the writer’s name to be on my ‘to be read’ writers’ list … Bottomed Out is the story of Jax Hunt and Lennox Austin. Jax was on top of the moto world but as it is with any racing sport, he did not walk away from an accident on his own so he has had to learn to live without racing … Lennox bursts into his life and gives him another thrilling goal to go chasing after … We have two strong people thrown together and we will grow along with them throughout the story and I promise you laughter and I promise you tears and I promise you will not regret the hours you will spend with the crew! Buckle up as it is going to be one thrilling ride!

Bottomed Out (Moto X Series Book 4) by Brooke May was an amazing read. I laughed and I cried while reading this story. Jax and Len were fantastic characters. Jax immediately kidnapped my heart at the start of this book. It was so easy to step into his character during this story. I easily felt what he did and struggled when he did. To see how much he developed and changed as the book progressed was inspiring. I haven’t read any of the other books in this series but I know I will be reading them now. This book can be read as a standalone and is an easy 5-stars. I highly recommend it.

Although part of a series this book can be read easily as a standalone story. Ex motor cross star Jax Hunt is fed up of people only seeing his disability and although he has a lot of positives in his life, his family, friends and a job he enjoys he is looking for a change. Jax’s does his best to prove to everyone that he can still do anything that someone with two working legs can do but now Jax’s is ready to push himself even more and prove the same to the rest of the world. When he first meets Lennox Austin he is instantly attracted to her exotic beauty and unique eye colour and is soon just as attracted to her entertaining personality, and even more so to the fact that Lennox actually sees him, Jax, as a man not as a man with a disability. Jax’s is willing to risk it all to achieve his goals and to ensure that Lennox does not turn away from him like so many others, he just has to deal with his overprotective brother first. This is a great story who’s main character is in a wheelchair following an accident, however the storyline is more about how his disability does not define him or stop him from achieving his goals. I loved the two main characters, Jax’s and Lennox and their chemistry was instant but different situations and people kept preventing their relationship from developing. I really felt for Jax and was cheering him and Lennox on to their happy ever after. An enjoyable read and I look forward to reading other books in this authors ‘Moto X’ series.

I have always enjoyed Brooke May’s books. I love how this book is nothing like I have read before. We are introduced to Jax and his disability. He feels that he needs to constantly go above and beyond to prove to everyone that it’ll never hold him back. Lennox walks into his life and the sparks fly. Jax is now more determined than ever to reach the goal he’s accomplishing and the one thing that stands in his way is Lennox’s brother.
I absolutely loved this book from beginning to end. You can’t help but fall in love with these characters and I cannot wait to read more from this author!

Bottomed Out by Brooke May is the fourth book in the Moto X series. This is a series that I have loved from the word go and I was so glad to read this book. As with the other books I found the story to be exciting. I was drawn into it immediately and it felt like the pages just turned themselves. And the characters were so amazing! They were strong and had the fight in them that makes them so easy to read about. This is such a strong series that even though it had been a while since I read the previous books I was taken right back into that world so easily. This is a great book and one I would highly recommend.
