Bottomed Out is the fourth book in the Moto X series by Brooke May. This is the first book I have read be Ms. May and it definitely won’t be the last. That being said, this book can be read as a standalone, but I’m definitely going back to read the rest of this series. This book had my emotions going up and down like a roller coaster. Jax and Lennox are great characters. They have such chemistry, but they are very relatable. I love the other cast of characters in this book and hope to read more about them in the prior books in this series. This was a really enjoyable read.

Bottomed Out (Moto X Series Book 4) by Brooke May was a super great and steamy read! I loved Jax, he was strong, smart, and capable. I loved his resilience. The pacing was good and I loved the plot. The experience felt real while I was reading. I feel like I was sitting with a friend who was updating me on her life. Definitely worth the read!

What a fantastic book! The author always does a fantastic job weaving a story together. This latest book does not disappoint. If you love an emotional, fast paced contemporary romance that tackles real life struggles and how we define/view ourselves – pick this up immediately. This was wonderful, can easily be read on its own. I can’t wait to read more from May.

Bottomed Out (Moto X Series Book 4) by Brooke May. This book was amazing! I have loved this series but this was one of my favorites. I love Jax Hunt and he’s my new book boyfriend :). This is the story of Jax Hunt and Lennox Austin. Jax has always been determined and hard working but since he has a disability he feels like he has to work twice as hard to prove himself. He has set out to do anything that a person with 2 working legs can do and a lot of the time does it better. When he meets Lennox Austin he feels like she sees him for who he really is not his disability. Jax has always been consumed with being better at all things than the next guy and now he’s consumed with this beautiful, intelligent and strong woman. The only thing standing in their way is a very overprotective brother who is looking out for his sister! Will Jax be able to prove to Lennox’s brother that he is trustworthy? Jax suffered a career-ending injury when he was involved in a motocross crash during a race. Now confined to a wheelchair, Jax works for one of his old sponsors and has found a different way to be involved in a world that he loves. His boss wants him to get some up and coming racers, Parker and Paige, to take part in an upcoming event. To get to the twins, he has to get through Paige’s right-hand woman, Lennox. Len is a mechanic for Paige and is sent over to Jax’s office to see what kind of offer Jax’s company puts on the table. Their is an immediate attraction between the two. However, Len doesn’t date due to her overprotective brother. Jax and Len go on secret dates but, when their secret is discovered, a series of events tests the strength of their budding relationship. Will they stay together and make it work, or is their baggage too much to handle?
I found this book to be full of emotions. Jax is a strong character that has not let the events of the past complete sour his view of the future. I felt for his best friend, and roommate, Axle. There are previous books in this series that I have not read, but I think I am going to check them out to get caught up on his story. All the characters were interesting and it will be interesting to see any future books that they are in!

I loved loved Jax and Lennox! Having a disability that you can see before you ever interact with someone can be very hard, I can imagine. Jax wants to be seen for him by a woman. These 2 were a great story to read and all the side characters too! I couldn’t put this book down, this author just knows how to weave a must read story. Ive been a small fan of motocross since I was little and love reading books about it. Must read!

This was a really good story that drags you in from the beginning. The characters are well written and you only want them to succeed and get what they want out of life.
Jax use to motocross star, who had his own career on the right track and was heading towards being the best in the business until a freak accident leaves him in a wheelchair and unable to walk again.
Despite the accident Jax rebuilds his life, working in a job he loves. All he wants is to find a woman who can see past his disability to the man that he is.
He thinks he will never find that until Lennox comes into his life and blows his world to pieces.
Lennox works for another rider who is a rising star and from their first meeting the attraction between them is strong but one thing is in their way. Lennox’s overprotective brother.
Lennox can see the man Jax is and see past his disability. She is everything Jax is looking for but can they overcome her brother’s possessiveness to be together.

When you have a disability it is hard not to be defined by it but Jax has lived his whole life to fight against conformity, but will a chance meeting with Lennox be enough to fight when all the odds are against him.
Jax Hunt has always achieved everything he puts his mind to, when people told him he couldn’t he proved them wrong. He loves his career and has people who he believes in and trust more than just friends they have become a family of sorts. Jax is always trying to overcome his disability as this is what most people see but when Lennox enters his life he sees there is more than just riding and that she may fill a longing in him.
Lennox walks in and is instantly drawn to Jax, the chemistry between the two of them is off the charts. The only obstacle in the way is her overprotective brother who tries to do everything to divert her from the path of Jax but is Jax’s will enough to fight for the relationship.
I loved this story and although it is part of a series this can be read as a standalone book. I loved the interaction of the main characters Jax and Lennox and thought the chemistry of these two just poured from the page. The story is well written and the secondary characters are a brilliant accompaniment to the main story and people. The character of Jax is fiery and determined which you are just willing along as the story progresses, with the character of Lennox being a smart, independent sassy partner in crime was a great match.
This is the first book I have read by this author and this will not be the last, I need to download the series and get started on entering this wonderful world you have created.

Bottomed Out by Brooke May a thrilling five-star read. This is number four in the Moto X series, but they can be read as stand-alone as this is my first read in the series and my first by this author and I don’t feel lost in the story. Jax Hunt will make you warm to him, no matter how much he doesn’t want to accept it. I started this late the other night and then couldn’t put it down until I had finished the story, it just wrapped me up in the pages. It also started a great reading curve, that I am loving as it started a great curve of amazing reads. Jax and Lennox have such chemistry they light up the page, but as with all chemistry you need to make sure you do everything correctly or it can be explosive and that’s where Lennox brother steps in, and the secondary characters in this story make the story, it’s the little chats that happen that start with no consequence but give you the greatest insight. I will be going back to check more from this author especially as I just discovered two on my TBR pile!!!

Bottomed Outis the fourth book in the Moto X seriesby Brooke May. This is a great contemporary romance, with chemistry, drama, realism, interesting characters, motor cross, family friendship, banter, and more. I have read a few of Ms. May’s books now, but this is the first book from the Moto X series for me. I enjoyed the story, and am happy that I was able to read it as a standalone. I will be going back to read the rest of the series to see what happens there, too. I really like the way Brooke May brings her characters to life, giving them so much realism and true believability. I also like Ms. May’s emotive and inviting writing style and how she is able to make me ‘feel’ everything her characters have, and are, going through. Jax Hunt is such an interesting character. He is so determined not to let his disability define him- wanting to prove to himself and the world, just what he is capable of. Then Lennox Austin walks into his life- and gives him a bold new goal. This book is one steamy read I could not wait to get my hands on! When I tell you just from the summary alone, I was hooked but once I actually started reading, I could not put it down. Seemed like I was obsessed to finish reading it just to write this review! Jax Hunt is a disabled young man who is itching to make some changes in his life. He loves his career but it’s not what he dreamed it’d be. His friends are his ride-or-dies and an understanding family. Jax has a lot to prove to himself but wants to show the world what he can do. Lennox Austin walks into his life where she notices him. As much as he wants to prove himself, Lennox’ brother is the only thing in Jax’ way but Jax eyes are on the prize that is Jax. I loved this story for a few different reasons. First off he is/was a motor cross racer. That is something not seen too often in romance books. Secondly he is wheelchair bound. I loved seeing and getting his take on things now that he is unable to be so popular. He has new struggles and challenges just in daily functions. It’s great to read how he as adapted. I won’t even mention the ladies. Lastly it’s weird how this accident affected his family. it is frustrating and in parts endearing. Then there is Lennox Austin. She is not what I expected but It turns out she is perfect for Jax.
I love the relationship between Jax and his roomie and Levi. They speak to each other only as friends can. Which includes arguments, poking fun at each other and serious talks. Then I feel Michelle deserves a nod of recognition as well. While a small character she did so much for Jax.
I enjoyed reading this and finished it at a quick pace. I loved getting to know these characters. The author wrote them so well they feel real…I loved that! I have not read any other books in this series. I did not feel like I was missing anything and this is easily a stand alone with trailers to others in the series.

This is not my first read from Brooke May and will definitely not be my last. I have always loved the way that Brooke May can pull the emotions to the surface of the story and use them in a way to tell it with a little bit of extra love. I have to say this has to be one of my favorites that I have read from her in awhile and I really loved the characters that this story includes all main and supporting make an impact perfectly. I am a huge fan of Jax, the main male lead in this story. He is a sweetheart with a disability that keeps him from feeling like he fits in or can stand as tall or strong as those surrounding him. He most certainly isn’t looking for the kind of emotions that he experiences when Lennox walks into his life. Then there is the added stress of her brother, a twist that will make things interesting. I loved how this book played out and how it even didn’t go as I had anticipated in some places and I just loved it. I can’t wait to see what will come next from the ever talented Brooke May.

I enjoyed this book. This is not my first book by this author but it is one of my favorites. I enjoyed being pulled in right from the beginning by the characters. They made the story engaging and wanting to know what would happen next with them. This is a story about Jax. He has a disability that makes him feel he has to prove himself to everyone around him. He is determined to prove that he can do just as much as anyone else. What happens when he meets Lennox is not something he expected. He is instantly attracted to her and is ready to accomplish what he has set out to do. The one thing that is blocking his way with Lennox is her brother. Will he be able to get Lennox or will she run the other way? I had no problem connecting with the characters. They made the story for me. They were strong and most full of heart that are supportive of each other. A story of strength and love. I highly recommend this book and this author.

I loved reading the book Bottomed Out (Moto X Series Book 4) by Brooke May. It is a story that pulled me in from the beginning and didn’t let me go until the final page. It is a romantic story that is sure to hook you in. I loved reading about the characters of Jax Hunt and Lennox Austin. Jax is a man who doesn’t like that some only see him for his disability. He has good friends and a family that mostly understands him. He wants to be seen by a woman for who he is. He then meets Lennox. Lennox is an intelligent, strong, and beautiful woman. She can’t miss the way that Jax makes her feel. The only problem, her overprotective brother. When the two of them meet there is a connection and chemistry between them. What does the future hold for Lennox and Jax? Read this book to find out. This is a story that has romantic moments that make the temperature in the room rise. There are heartwarming and heartbreaking moments as well. My emotions went up and down the entire time I was reading this book. I also enjoyed reading about the additional characters that are friends and family to Jax and Lennox. This is an amazing story that had me turning pages wanting to know what will happen next and how it all will end. I highly recommend reading it.

Call of the Alpha (Powder River Pack Book 2) by Brooke May. I’ve come to really enjoy this author and the stories created. This one can be read as a stand-alone but trust me you’ll want all the books this author has to offer. Mason and Rylie are great characters they had this undeniable chemistry and unique vibe I love in characters. The attention to even the smallest details are amazing and I appreciate the time and effort put in by the author. The storyline was interesting and had me completely hooked from start to finish! It’s well written and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking anything. I’ll definitely be adding to my read again list. Five stars all the way and highly recommended!

Call Of The Alpha: The Powder River Pack Book 2. I like that this book flips between Mason and Rylie’s point of view. Mason is Alpha of the Powder pack and single dad to Archer, he’s strong, powerful and a great big teddy bear in my opinion. Rylie is Wildlife Biologist who moved back home after a relationship breakdown, she’s a independent women, a bit of a tomboy and loves the outdoors. They are a perfect match. The relationship Rylie and Archer build is beautiful and pulled at my heartstrings many times. I can’t wait for the next book in this series. Thank you Brooke May for a fabulous read!

This is a full length must read Paranormal Romance. Turn the first page of this book and you will not want to put it down! This is Rylie and Mason’s story. Mason is a single father to a charming little boy. Archers Mother signed her rights away the day she gave birth to him, and never looked back. Therefore Mason has raised this little man all on his own. He has not dated sense he got the baby. If he were ever to find a mate, she will know that Archer will always be #1. So no dating for Mason.
Rylie is very work oriented and loves being in the woods. She loves being out in the open air, working with the wild animals. She has no interest in a relationship! It’s work work work. In walks Mason and all those thoughts leave, disappear and leave her stunned. Let’s not forget a wildfire.
Brooke May you may be a new author for me. This book will make you a new favorite for me. Her book holds you captive until you read the last page. Brooke May has strong characters and they are loveable as well. You can’t help but fall in love with little Archer. I must say this is a rollercoaster of romance in the werewolves sort of adventure. I have enjoyed reading this book, I loved how everything a normal person could see or feel was intensified to show how connected Mason and Rylie were to one another. You could really feel the connection they had in this story. The author shows us how they were practically drawn to each other from the second they saw one another and just had to see the other again and unlike other great love stories, this one actually seemed realistic. And Mason was very much the over protective boyfriend we all encounter at one point or another in our lives. I hope we see more of Mason and Archer, as well as Miranda who is such the little troublemaker. I can’t wait to see what Brooke has in store for us next.

Fated mates are something Mason has always known about. Rylie has no clue about what is really going on in the world when it comes to supernaturals. They both have to figure out how to deal with their growing attraction while Mason struggles with how to tell her about who he really is. When he does, it affects more than just the two of them.
I really enjoyed this book, it had the right amount of heat, witty banter and insta love. I’m really curious to find out what happens next to the other couple! Overall, it is a fantastic read and one that had me hooked!

I really enjoyed this book. As the love story of Rylie and Mason progressed I found myself looking forward to a happy ending. This novel brought together two of my favorite genres, romance and paranormal/fantasy. What made it good was the story line which included just enough twists and turns to keep the story interesting. I look forward to future offerings by Brooke May and further stories of other members in the pack.

Love love love werewolf romance and this one met all my expectations. This story was not your typical werewolf story line, in that only the men were werewolves. There is romance, some drama and little heartbreak, and cane together quite nicely. Mason and Rylie are wonderful together and the development of their relationship is fun to watch. I really liked how it again, wasn’t your standard werewolf novel and Mason had a child that Rylie came to love. I wish there was more drama around Mason’s ex Cat or even Rylie’s co-worker Pete but overall still a book worth reading. I can’t wait to read the next book which is hopefully about Mason’s brother Miles and Rylie’s best friend Alexis! 10 out of 10 would recommend this book!

Call of the Alpha is the second book in Brooke May’s paranormal Powder River Pack series. It was not my first encounter with the writer and even though the other book I had read by her was not a paranormal, I was not disappointed! I love paranormal genre and she is someone I will gladly go back to and as Call of the Alpha is the second book then it means I have already downloaded the first book and will spend my Saturday with digging deeper into the Powder River Pack in Wyoming! I know everyone says that you can read this story as standalone and after having finished it and having read the blurb for the first book, I completely agree THOUGH you should still go and read the first book (I know you will want after meeting Derek in the Call of the Alpha). Call of the Alpha gives us Rylie, the biologist returning to her home town, and Mason, the alpha of the Powder River Pack and a single father to young Archer who simply steals your heart! The writer gives us heartbreak and laughter and action and passion and pain … there are some secrets that see the light of the day and then there are secrets that are still to be revealed so hopefully the writer will not make us to wait too long for Miles and Alexa’s story (fingers crossed they are next)! Even though it is a paranormal story, we are all human deep down so there is a lot we can relate to, hope for and swear by … I believe that this story telling goes beyond the paranormal and the writer gives us the depth she has with describing relationships and deep feelings and that I fell in love with while reading the first book I ever read by her (Back in the Ring).

Call of the Alpha by Brooke May is the 2nd installment of The Powder River Pack series. This book is about Rylie Press biologist and Mason Fischer single dad and Alpha of the Powder River Pack. I could not get enough of this book. It hooks you right from the start. It’s a bit of a slow burn. May does a great job of building the romance and chemistry between Mason and Rylie. I also loved how she made Mason’s son a big part of the story. I can’t wait to read the rest of the books in this series. I’m hoping the next one will be about Alexa and Miles because their relationship within this story had me on the edge of my seat.

Career driven Biologist Rylie Press returns to her hometown and meets single dad and alpha of the Powder River Pack, Mason Fischer and neither can deny their sizzling chemistry. Rylie’s scent alone is enough to convince wolf shifter Mason that she is his ‘mate’. Rylie however is unaware of Mason’s ‘kind’ and so he must convince her that it is fate that they are together. I loved this paranormal romance featuring wolf shifters who are part of alpha Mason’s pack. The chemistry between the main characters, Rylie and Mason was steamy and instant. I liked how the author wrote the story from both characters points of view and having a detailed backstory of both of them gave real insight into the characters, both of which I loved. I have not read book 1 in ‘The Powder River Pack’ series but this story worked well as a standalone read, but I’m keen to read book one as I enjoyed this book. A great read.

Call of the Alpha (Powder River Pack Book 2) by Brooke May is a 4 star read Rylie Press has recently graduated from college and has returned to her hometown for a job, she loves the outdoors and is fiercely independent. On a night out with her best friend she meets Mason and feels an incredible pull towards him. Mason Fischer is alpha of his werewolf pack and owns a bar with his brother he has recently become a single father after an ex gave birth and signed away her rights to the baby, with everything on his plate Mason decides that he will stay single until he meets his true mate. When Rylie and Mason meet their chemistry is off the charts but with Mason hiding a big secret can they both see they were made for each other? This is a new author for me and I really enjoyed her style of writing.

This is a fantastic paranormal romance. It is the second book in the Powder River Pack series but can be read as a stand-alone. I found the story to be well written and interesting. The characters are wonderful and relatable. The author put a somewhat different twist to werewolves. Obviously they are hot which led to some sizzling scenes with their mates. Mason is drool worthy on top of being the alpha and a single dad. Rylie was a strong female lead yet not infallible. The story is filled with passion, secrets and heartache. With danger added in, the book will keep you on the edge of your seat wondering what will happen next. I think it’s a great addition to the series. Now I need book three to be about Miles because I need to know what happens with that situation.

I haven’t read the first book in this series, but I absolutely loved Call of the Alpha by Brooke May! I felt like the prologue caught me up on a lot I needed to know. I enjoyed the fast paced energy of this novel, and it was very hard to put down. It had me enthralled from the beginning. There is romance, some comedy (or at least I laughed) and a lot about family. I loved all the characters, they were all so well written! I can’t wait to find out what happens in the next installment!
