Saving Marvel (Satan’s Devils MC Second Generation #4) by Manda Mellett – Review by Cindy Mayberry

Saving Marvel (Satan's Devils MC Second Generation Book 4)Saving Marvel by Manda Mellett
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I am positive, when I tell you this series is well worth your time and money. This is Marvel and Virginia’s story. Being caught up in a bank robbery is bad, being stuck in a small room with a total stranger is bad, but those are nothing to Virginia, compared to the last few years of her life. The strong and helpful Marvel is one to be trusted, unless you fear his type of men. Marvel on the other hand wants nothing to do with women. He has been jilted once and he keeps clear of all women. He has given each and every one of his Brothers hell for finding their old Lady. Says it will Never happen to him! Well guess what? Marvel is stuck in a tiny bank room with said woman. For hours and hours and hours. That is all I am going to say about this story. No spoilers for you. This author and her creative mind has once again written a story to be read by all. You can’t help but fall in love with the characters that make the Men and Women of the Satan’s Devils MC. This story is fast paced and leaves nothing out. So I recommend you get everything you need before starting. As you will not be coming up for a while. I am sure the next in this series is already in the making. So get yourself caught up in this series as I know you will not be disappointed.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Lily is trapped in the Huntingtons home of the Wolf Hollow Royals. As a human slave, she is forbidden to look the Huntingtons in the eye, as that is cause for punishment. But Lily tries to keep her head down and as fate would have it she looks up. Caught in the act she is sent to the dungeon to await her punishment. Of course there is that one bad guard who has targeted Lily. Prince Jason feels he has found his true mate. Only she is forbidden as she is human. What a mess for Lily, she must try and keep away from the guard, even though he is much stronger and threatening. Will Lily and Jason get their HEA? I found this story to be fast paced and highly emotional. There were times, when all of my emotions were on my sleeve. This author has a knack for details, I love that! The characters are strong and Lily steps forward and finds her inner strength. This is the first in this series. I can’t wait to see where this author takes Lily and Jason next.

Nite Fire: Slash & Burn (Book 4) AUDIO BOOK by C.L. Schneider – Review by Cindy Mayberry

Can I start with? WOW! Just WOW! I have never been so intrigued with an audible Book. I was at the edge of my seat the whole time I listened to this the 4th book in the series. Really this author never disappoints! Dahlia, a shape shifter, a dragon, returns to hunt monsters, as well as  the Blight that continues to spread. She brings with her new team members. As she must keep the street cleaned of the unwanted. Can she and her team put a stop to the invasion of the human world? At this point I say please read the first 3 books in this exciting series. The Author for this series has really pulled out all stops. Her books are guaranteed to keep your interest. My world was stopped for 15 hours, I just had to finish listening to the book. This author never repeats actions or situations in her story. Her characters are strong as well as independent.  I love that the main character is female. Dahlia proves her strength and determination to complete what needs to be done. Monsters and Blight be warned.

This is what I call an open ended book. For any childcare settings, a must have for all who read to children. Not only does it come with an exciting storyline, it feeds science minds with hands-on activities. This author has taken simple materials and her characters to bring the child to exploring the world around them. Besides that, the pictures are bright and eye-catching. With mermaids, imaginary friends and human children, it shows we can all come together and explore. A must have for every library. This is the beginning of Rourke ‘ s 7th grade year. Middle school adventures are about to get started. Rourke’s mind was all over the place as he opened his worries. The girl, the crazy neighbor, and tragedy are what you will find in this story. An adventure for middle schoolers and older. Even the adults will enjoy this story. This author has taken a different look into this family. I felt like she was bringing forth the family dynamics with some insight. Autism, anxiety and beginning a new school year are only the topping of this story. A must read for parents as well as teens.

Doctor in the Outback (Welcome to Bunya Junction, #3)Doctor in the Outback by Nicole Flockton
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This the third book in the series is more about Scott and the new obstetrician named Franceen. We all know bosses and employees should never be more. But in this case both these beautiful people are forgiven. (By me) Scott has a twin sister who is pregnant with twins herself. As her brother and a Doctor, he has to be the brother first and foremost. Franceen on the other hand is the Doctor who will care for Sissy. Although Scott has his own problems with the pregnancy, as a twin he feels her pain as well as the morning sickness. The author once again has involved me into this series. I love the storyline and the HEA. The characters feel like family and we all want to feel the emotional rollercoaster ride this story brings forth. I will be waiting for the fourth in this series, because, There has to be more!

The things we tell ourselves can be a nightmare. Sophia Smith, actress, fell in love with her co-star Gil. Then met up with a grumpy Llama and the air for which comes with the French Mountains. On one family night she met Gil’s Parents. Boy, they were something, unlike any parents I have ever met. This author writes that, must read romance with flair. Your emotions will be all over the place, happy, sad, angry and laughter. Her story was a quick read, as in I could not put it down. Where this book ends I am sure the next in the series starts. Cate Silver and Patti Thomas have been best friends forever. Even though they have grown apart after High School. Their friendship snaps back anytime one needs the other. They both have a Huge secret that could be the downfall of one of the girls. Twenty years later, the secret may have to come out. It’s so very hard to forget something that is life altering. Read on to see what happened. This author has true skills when it comes to storytelling. Her writing is clear and easy to follow. Once I read the first chapter, I knew I was in for the long haul. This coming of age story has you traveling down memory lane, and visiting those times you had in high school. I love all of the characters in this book, and hated some too. But this story is believable and scary at the same time. ENJOY!!!

The Billionaire’s Slave by Stacy-Deanne – Review by Cindy Mayberry

The Billionaire's Slave by Stacy-DeanneThe Billionaire’s Slave by Stacy-Deanne by Stacy-Deanne
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

To start out with this review, I must tell you this is a new author for me and I don’t normally read Historical anything. So this book sounded like a story I might like. I was wrong! I Loved it! Falcon and Penny are both fighting for what should be right. In a time where it is all wrong. 1864 a time when race held status. Only the whites were rich and owned slaves. But who can tell the heart what it wants. Falcon lost his wife and child many years ago. Feeling he would never open his heart again, that is until he saw Penny. Penny knew she would never be anything but a slave. Even though she was adopted by a white family, she was still a slave to their daughter. This author opened many hearts in this story. It was well studied and even better written. As soon as I opened this book I knew I was going nowhere until I read The End. The story is fast paced and never slowed. It kept my interest and I fell in love with the characters, well not so much with Rose. I recommend this story for all those with romance in their hearts.

Doctor D’s Orderly Affair (Doctors of Eastport General) by C.A. King – Review by Cindy Mayberry

Doctor D's Orderly AffairDoctor D’s Orderly Affair by C.A. King
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

There are a few good words to describe this book. Hot! Steamy! Funny, the laugh out loud kind as well as Heartfelt. Oh and Steamy gets it twice as Dr. Desmond Danielson is just that HOT and STEAMY. Having said that, Dr. D is a pediatrician and one that not only do the kids like him. So do the women working around him. He is just down right loveable, and puts his patients first, before play. Emily works in the ER. She is a good hearted woman who has an attraction to the children in the ER. She is their comfort as they wait for their parents to arrive. Now for the author! This author writes and describes her characters perfectly. She set her story up on the first page and keeps you reading. While this book seems like a short story, it is just the beginning for this Series. I have read many stories from this author and have never been disappointed. Her story is well written and will leave you wanting more. I am looking forward to reading so much more from this author.

You will really give your feels many challenges. This story is well thought out as well as fast paced. You can’t help but love the characters and their places in these adventures. This is a great book with plenty of action. The story is about those MC’S we all love to read about. This story is how Gem left one outlaw MC and found herself in another. Thanks to the handsome Rage rider Shep. Gem is more than a tough girl, she is a beast! She is strong and knows how to defend herself. Shep though is not who I expected him to be. Having said that! This is one book you will want to read. This is a new author for me and she has written this fast paced and thrilling story. I am looking forward to reading more from her. A Hundred Wishes (Band of Sisters) by Marianne Rice – Review by Cindy Mayberry

A Hundred Wishes (Band of Sisters)A Hundred Wishes by Marianne Rice
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This has to be one of the best stories of the year. I love a well written love story, but when real people are involved, it makes it that much better. This author brought Gina and Bryce ‘ s story to life. Gina is retired military, after an explosion she finds herself injured, not just body but mentally as well. She does not let that keep her down though. She has her Band Of Sisters, who help her get through the healing process. But more than that, she has her crafts and even a teaching class online for children. So she has almost everything she could ask for, except for romance. She tries to keep that out of her life. Bryce however has fallen for this beautiful woman that wants nothing to do with him. Bryce has secrets too, so romance is not in his cards as well. But we all know that romance is going to happen no matter how hard we hide from it. If it can happen it will. Read this story to find out how Gina and Bryce learn to trust, laugh, grow stronger and yes fall in love. This story is a fast read and the roller coaster of emotions is faster. Get ready for this non stop ROMANCE.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I am sad to see this series end. I’m excited to see what’s next for this author.
This the 6th book in the story is the oldest of the King brothers. Lazarus’s one goal in life is to protect his family. From his own father! I could not believe this man, the one to take care of his wife and children. Instead he made them pay for being in his selfish way. This story got me so twisted. There was the father, the brothers and their families. All trying to find their part in this story. Lazarus must put an end to his family’s nightmare. Meanwhile his heart is beginning to open, while not the best time to. Lazarus might have found his soulmate, but can he protect one more person in his life? This was a fantastic series. Each one is better than the one before. There were so many suspenseful roller coaster rides. I was thrown into the depths of so many emotions. I recommend you read this series in order, even though they can be read as a standalone? I feel it’s a must to get familiar with the whole family. As the end pulls the series to a close. No spoilers will be found. Read the Series, you will be glad you did.

Where do I start with this incredible Thrilling Crime story? Well… At the beginning. Who am I? What am I? Where do I need to go? How did I get here? Looking in the mirror, I see me. But what have I done? Aria is the main character who deals with all kinds of patients. But I can see what she is struggling with. You will too. Being a psychologist, her plate is over full. Even though she is struggling in her personal life. Others need her, the patient who takes her own life, the young girl in the hospital, even the detectives on a hunt to find other girls missing. Not to mention the killer and his evil ways. WOW! I could not stop reading this story. There were so many avenues to get to the end. Even after the last word was read, I still felt the need to read it again. This is a must read rollercoaster. Just when you think you have figured out where this author is going. Then there is Jenny, the nurse who is friends with both Will and Tori. Her job is to read between the lines and give hope when needed. This book has so many emotions going on, that a person can get lost in reading, and nothing gets done. Yes this is an end of your seat Romance that will capture your heart, break your heart and fulfill your heart all in one story. This is part 2 of this duet, so please read book 1 to become caught up. This author does not disappoint. Her story is complete from beginning to end. Her characters are people we all can relate to. Just a beautiful Romance that started with the big C word.
