Toya Richardson is my new favorite paranormal author. Her story is fast paced and she leaves you wanting so much more. I was drawn in on the first page and could not stop reading, until the last page had been read. The characters in this story have strong roles and Mila is no push over. She is strong willed and has no problem taking what is hers. As for Elias, he is too hot to handle. The romance between these two people is nothing more than HOT! Hot! HOT! Well Done Toya Richardson! This story will definitely get your heart pumping. This is a crime story with a thrilling thriller. Cady Fox has worked hard to be the best lawyer. Now with a possible partnership in her grasp, that is all she was thinking about as she headed home on her bike. A ride she has taken every night, just for the exercise. But tonight will be different, so different she could be headed to prison for murder. No spoilers from this reviewer.

A.J.Ullman wrote this highly intense crime story. I was grabbed on page one and could not put the book down. He leaves no stone unturned, and you can’t help looking around at every sound, creak or pop. I remained at the edge of my seat, while reading this story. I love Cady and Easy, their friendship with benefits is outstanding. The characters in this story will leave you wanting so much more. Well Done A.J.Ullman! Well Done! ! !

Noemie’s Journey AUDIO BOOK by Victoria Saccenti – Review by Cindy Mayberry

Noemie’s Journey

AUDIO BOOK

By Victoria Saccenti

☆☆☆☆☆

This is a romance with a little bit of a history. The days when mixed marriages were frowned upon. In this story Noemie and Richard come face to face with racism. You will get to go back to the sixties and read along as these two incredible people fight for love. Richard will do just about anything for Noemie. Noemie, having racism thrown at her daily, just wants to protect the man she loves. Even if it means she can’t see him or love him. How will these 2 beautiful people’s hearts find where love leads them?

Victoria Saccenti has opened the door to the 60s. A time when the people were divided by race and color. A time where people could get killed over talking to the wrong person. Growing up in the 60s I remember hearing such horrific stories. This is a beautifully written story about just such forbidden love. One I think everybody will enjoy. Noemie is such a strong independent woman. Richard is a strong protector, who loves who he loves. The characters in this story are believable in how life was back then. You will find the world around you fades away as you listen to this story of forbidden love. Hop on this audio train and listen in. Well Done Victoria Saccenti!  Well Done! ! !

You are about to step into a quaint little pub. You will meet new friends and enjoy the peacefulness that sets before you. That is what makes this a Contemporary Romance. One I am sure you will enjoy as much as I did.
Pandora Sebastian is a model who just needs some quiet. Stress from work had taken over and she just needed to get away. Running from yet another photoshoot, she hops into the closest car and drives away. Many things lead up to her driving away but I’ll let you read it for yourself. Jonas Carruthers owns the little pub that Pandora walks into. He has his own story to tell as well. No Spoilers will be found here.

Nicole Flockton wrote this “easy to get caught up in” novel. It is well written and keeps you entertained. I recommend you read Book 1 so you are caught up and ready to read Pandora and Jonas’ story. This author ends her story where the next one starts. Giving you a little taste of what is coming. I have grown to love the characters and their roles in the little town. This is one of those books that make it hard to put down. I am looking forward to reading the next in this series. Well Done Nicole Flockton! Well Done!!

This is a full length novel. Great for teens dealing with loss. High School is hard enough, with homework, boyfriends and besties. Then the worst is the loss of a grandparent, well really any loss. This is one of the best books I have read, dealing with teens in mind.
Emme is close to her grandparents, and is dating the popular Brendon Agretti all while going to high school. When Emme’s grandmother falls ill, she finds herself trying to keep everything normal. Which proves hard as her grandfather is also in poor health, and seems lost. Also dating Brendon has its challenges. Read and find out how Emme deals with such trying times.

Krysten Lindsay Hager really pulled out all the stops with this coming of age story. I wish this was available when I was in school. I love Emme and her friends. Dealing with high school and home life is hard enough. This quick reading page turner holds so many questions that can be answered while reading this story. I recommend this to teens and adults dealing with losing a family member. Well Done Krysten Lindsay Hager! Well Done! ! !

This is another look into the Bastard Brothers. This is Sam and Ellis’ story. A romantic suspenseful continuation to A Dark Sparrow Novel. Ellie works as an 911 operator, her job is a continual phone call, all have their own traumatic event. She has had enough. Sam on the other hand has his own demons. The man he has known as father has pushed Sam into wanting to finish it all. Making what was to be his last call to his brother, ends up calling Ellie. That is where this story starts. But you will need to keep reading as there are no spoilers from me.

India Kells has once again drawn me into her Dark Sparrow series. I waited for this one and the suspense that I was waiting for happened. So much more was opened up in this story. Sam and Ellie are so much alike, both have open hearts and the need to help others, before themselves. I have enjoyed all of the characters in all of this series. But Sam and Ellie are my favorite. This is a non stop emotional rollercoaster of a ride. Well Done India Kells! Well Done!

This is the 4th book in this series. Well the San Diego MC that is. I have to warn you readers. This book is not for those under 18, or those who fear the MCs. I have found that I enjoy a good full length novel that promises more to come.

Saffie, after 5 years of beatings and torture from the man that loved her. She finally escapes. While taking over her life and getting back on her feet, there is still her husband who is after her. He won’t stop, she knows that. But that does not stop her from caring for herself. She keeps her head down and works. Niran is part of an MC, on a trip to the Dr’s with Mary they come to meet Saffie. All become instant friends. Biggest problem with Niran and Mary is they belong to an MC. Something Saffie fears and hates all at the same time.

Manda Mellett has done it again. She has written this amazing sequel to her Satan’s Devils. This story will bring you back to where Part 1 stopped. As usual Manda Mellett puts you on track on page one, and you never put it down. I can honestly say there is no safe place to stop. The emotional rollercoaster just keeps going. I have said it before and I have to admit this is my favorite book. You can bet I will be reading more from this author, so please keep them coming. Well Done Manda Mellett! Well Done!

This is a full length dark suspenseful romance. Due to the theme and contents of this story. I recommend only those over 18 should be reading this story.

Quinn has escaped her horrible past, with the help of Stone and his men. She is ready to move on, but something still lurks in the shadows. Could it be Walker again? Where is Stone and Walker?   Quinn must gather her strength to get her family safe, once again. Where is she safe? Will Quinn ever be safe again? This is not a nice romance.

D.M. Earl has written this powerful intense series. Everything Quinn has is a fight to keep. I hate to see this series end, but all good things must come to an end. I love each and every character in this series. I love the quick page turning rollercoaster ride. The emotions are out there and ready to greet you. I hope you love this series as much as I have. Well Done D.M. Earl! Well Done!

Taking Flight

Book 2

This is a full length novel, with those hot military men and the women in their lives.
Jody Meadows is everything her sister is not. Having an identical twin sister who is making it big in the music industry, is not as glamorous as one would think. Jody is just as talented as her sister, but not in the eyes of her family. It has come to the time of following her own dreams. Holt Preston is an Air Force Pilot. He is stuck on leave and just wants a good time out with his buddies. Maybe Find a one nighter and move on. Germany has the best beer and women so why not indulge? Only that is not what he found. Finding more than he has bargained for, Holt has much more to think about. Should Holt follow his heart? Could Jody finally break free from her sister and take flight? Only reading this story will answer those questions.

Brooke May is a new author for me, but sometimes you must give others a chance. Therefore Romance and Military is my new find. This story drew me in on page 1 and continued up till the end. Brooke has hit the nail on the head with this exciting romance. Holt and Jody could be the beginning to an amazing series. I am looking forward to reading more from Brooke May. Well Done Brooke May! Well Done!

Unlikely In Love
A Parker Lake Novel Book 1

Full romance novel, filled with fun, laughter and a few tears to make it complete. Annabelle Cleaver is 27, loves her granny to the ends of the earth. When she was alone, it was granny to the rescue. Now she is listening to the lawyer tell her granny’s last will. Being the lady she is, she will follow the letter to the last hot pink detail. Just as her life is already a complete mess, in comes her high school crush. He has come looking for a job. Can she get her life back on track and help out the damaged veteran?
Wyatt Hallway has returned home from the service, a damaged soul. Life will never be the same, as he has seen and done some things that he feels are unforgivable. Yet on the other hand, he is making the best of what is left. He has a loving family, and a smart niece, that keeps him on his toes. After hearing a friend needs help on her farm, he offers to help. But life has unexpected roads to follow. Can he follow his dreams as well? Can he find love and heal from his nightmares? Only reading this book will tell.
Olivia Sherwood has written one of the best love stories. In my humble opinion. Her characters both have broken hearts. She has taken these two unlikely souls and brought them together. This page turner will keep your interest intrigued, and keep you turning those pages. This book has it all. It’s funny to the point of laughing out loud, and a struggle that will keep you on the edge. This is just a good Ole fashion love story. I love this author and her characters. Hope you do too!

This is a full length contemporary romance. Great story for your young adults, and the romantic readers.

Cadence Riley has focused her life around school and her job.  Camp Riley is owned by her parents, and a great place to work. She does not have time for relationships or boys. She works hard and stays out of trouble. Fitz Quinn is a spoiled brat, and the son of a rich politician. Sent to work at the camp by the courts. He comes with an attitude and the thought of all the girls he could get before returning home. What waits for him is not a choice, it’s a demand.  Can Cadence and Fitz stay away from each other? Will it be work as usual for Cadence? Can Fitz get through camp and return home, without compromising his heart?

Dakota Willink has taken a summer camp challenge and made it fun for all.  Her characters were fun and full of questions for the young readers. A coming of age romance. I really enjoyed this story and kept thinking of my granddaughters, they would enjoy this story as well. Just a pleasure for all to read. I am looking forward to reading book 2, where I am sure this story continues for Cadence. Well done Dakota Willink! Well Done!

India Kells

☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆

This is a full length novel. Set around MC’s, gangs, romance and family drama. The suspense will be your biggest reward. Not for those under 18 due to violence and adult themes.

Deva Landry has escaped her princess life, and her MC family as well. She has escaped an unwanted marriage, and now there is a price on her head. She must keep her head about her and keep low. Trouble comes when she is asked to take care of Aleksei, an underground fighter. That is where she could be in danger. Can she protect Aleksei as well as herself in this story? Will she survive the fight of her life?

India Kells you have done it again! Well wrote and loaded with twists and turns. Just when I felt it was safe to set the book down, you drop in chaos. So therefore I stayed up all night, with this page turner. I love the characters and admire the strength Deva holds. I can’t wait to start the next book in this series. Well Done India Kells! Well Done!!

This is a full length Paranormal fantasy. Readers of all ages will enjoy Kingdom of War. I feel the YA would really enjoy this action packed adventure. Paranormal at it’s best.

This is Hunter’s story and the part he takes in the Trinity of Light. He is the leader of the teens as they search for the needed shards. As well as a coming of age fantasy.  Will Evil win over the Good? Will Hunter and the others find what they seek? Will they be on time?

Tricia Copeland is the author in this series. Her story is planned out perfectly. This was one fantastic rollercoaster of a ride. Fast paced and action packed. Great road trip audiobook for the whole family. This story’s characters are just who I pictured them to be, as I listened to the story. Strong women as well as strong men work together bringing this adventure to life. Well Done Tricia Copeland! Well Done! ! !
