Grace and Ryan have had a rocking past with his brother and her best friend committed suicide. When he left back then, it broke her relationship with him as a friend back then. Grace is working her butt off with her cheese business and the family farm, when news happens. Her moms health is worse, and the farm needs to be sold. Grace wants to keep it and will do almost anything to do that. This is where Ryan comes in. The drama, the romance tension, and the relationships are so good!!!

This is book number two in The Anderson Sisters series, and it was just as perfect as the predecessor. The protagonist makes you root for her to win. She has been through so much heartache and pain that I found myself an emotional mess on this rollercoaster ride of a story. She reminded me of myself in certain ways because she is such a strong willed, do it yourself woman. Fierce and determined to not ask or accept help. However sometimes you are resigned to the fact that you must do what is needed under fire. I loved this story. I highly recommend it. I think this would make a wonderful Hallmark movie and would love to see it on screen.

Grace and Ryan are going to have to work together to save her family’s farm. It is being sold because her parents have to relocate for their health. Grace has 3 months to secure financing to buy it. She and Ryan have been friends but a falling out damaged that. Can they work together to save the farm and her business? The chemistry between these two is there the whole time. What makes this story so fascinating is watching them work through the relationship and the issues. The story feels realistic and relatable. The characters feel like they could be your neighbors. It was nice to see Ella and Jake and Tessa pop in. A lovely story that you just can’t pass by.

Kayla knows a thing or two about making love connections. As the owner of Blind Date, a popular app and restaurant that creates a safe and completely dark environment to meet, date, and find love, she’s successfully helped others find love, but she’s never used it to find love for herself.
Evan is thrilled by the public’s reaction and the revenue its generated. As a silent partner, he gets to reap his share of the benefits while staying completely out of the way. A friend found love with Blind Date, but Evan doesn’t put much stock in finding it for himself. His friends, however, convince him to give it a shot. All he has to do is survive four dates, and if it doesn’t work out, he can walk away.
After two disastrous dates, he’s ready to back out of the deal, but he’s not a quitter. Remarkably, the third date is a charm. Things go so well; it almost feels familiar. There’s just something about date #3, but he can’t figure out what.
When she suddenly stops replying, he’s dumbfounded. He doesn’t where he went wrong, so he seeks a woman’s perspective from Kayla. Her reaction isn’t what he expects and turns the whole blind dating concept on its head.

It’s deal or no deal when a new threat forces two independent neighbours to face a past tragedy.
Artisan cheese-maker GRACE ANDERSON lost her closest friend to suicide, then saw her father swindled out of prime dairy land. Abandonment and mistrust cemented her determination to become the fifth generation on the family farm and to do it alone. A deterioration in her mother’s health starts the clock. Grace has three months to buy her parents out—a decade sooner than planned—or lose the farm.
Neighbour RYAN WILSON is haunted by the belief he failed to prevent his younger brother Danny’s suicide. He’s returned to sell his mother’s farm. In eight years away, he’s built a fortune flipping farm properties and doesn’t do attachment—to land or people.
The bank plays hard ball, forcing Grace to consider Ryan’s offer to buy part of her land. The sizzling attraction simmering between them is an unwelcome complication. She doesn’t want a business partner, he doesn’t want to care, but when someone tries to sabotage her purchase, she finds herself turning to Ryan for more than financial help.
Can Ryan convince her accepting help is not failure? Can Grace escape her legacy of mistrust and teach him how to care again?
Australian Jennifer Raines writes contemporary romances set mainly, but not exclusively, in Australia – think Malta, Finland, New Zealand or ?. A dreamer and an optimist, her stories are a delicious cocktail of mutual respect, passion and loyalty because she still believes in happily-ever-afters.
Jennifer fell in love with romance as a teenager. Starting with historical romance. Everything in the school library and then a personal treasured collection of Georgette Heyer, hard copies and paperbacks. Now she has a full print set of Georgette Heyer, old volumes with gorgeous covers found in second-hand shops in London and shipped home alongside a duplicate e-book collection. Comfort food, she calls them, like vegemite toast, for those times when she feels low. Her library of comfort food has grown over the years but Georgette Heyer was an early star, under the blankets after lights out using a torch.
Jennifer is a member of Romance Writers of Australia. Three times a finalist in the Emerald competition, including in 2017, 2018 (Taylor’s Law) and 2022. She’s a member of Romance Writers of New Zealand, winning the Pacific Hearts competition twice, including in 2019 with Grace Under Fire, the sequel to Taylor’s Law. She’s also a member of Romance Writers of America and has been a finalist in chapter competitions in 2019, 2020 and 2021 (Taylor’s Law). Jennifer values competitions for the constructive, honest, not always comfortable feedback they provide.
Jennifer loves those days when words flow and the joy of writing makes the hard slog worthwhile. She’s always made up stories about strangers in the street, in a café or strolling through an airport terminal; finding inspiration in snippets of conversations, news items and the sheer puzzle of human interactions.
Jennifer lives in inner-city Sydney, Australia, with the requisite number of partners (1) and animals (2). Her desk overlooks a park which nourishes her soul when she raises her head from her keyboard. She gets some of her best ideas during long yin yoga poses or walking – anywhere. While Jennifer adores historical romance, she chose to write contemporary because she thought (wrongly) it needed less research while she was holding down a full-time job.

I wasn’t sure who I was rooting for most of the book. This second chance romance, had me in many emotions as Mavis navigates her way through feelings of twin brothers.
These characters were so relatable.
I highly recommend this book! I’ll be reading the next book in the trilogy soon!

This book is one full of betrayal, trauma, love, and growth. The main character is a wonderful woman capable of giving it all for the one she calls her best friend. In this book you see her grow and realize how dome people are not who you think they are. Growing apart from the people that is most important to her and growing close to new people that dhe didn’t knew will be close to her. My Pearl Heart is a book that will definitely keep you entertained but be prepared to get angry with some of the characters. Highly recommend this book. Best part is, it has a happy ending.

When I first read the blurb and laid eyes on the cover I just knew this was going to be a read that ticked all the boxes ❣️📕
Being the daughter/stepdaughter of celebs can’t be easy on one side the parents want to protect and on the other side the child wants to have a taste of that life and I must say one parent is an opera singer while the other a rockstar , polar opposites , very interesting ! 🫶🏼😋😉 I think it’s safe to say Melodie has music is her blood and when a nightingale wants to sing you can’t clip it’s wings ….
Melodie is desperate to sing so she goes “ undercover” and does just that , with Wil’shelp and he’s here to work and find his biological dad 🫣
Wil and El’s relationship is a blend of business and pleasure and between all the secrets , laughs and moments I really just had fun with them ❣️

Book 1 was Amazing! Book 2 was Amazing x2! Can’t wait to read Book 3. I’ve gotta say I fell in love with Austin in book 1. Of course I had to read book 2 and it definitely didn’t disappoint. The chemistry between Austin & Casey is magnetic. Austin has been drawn to her since book 1 but he allows Mavis to cloud his judgement. I love how the author has several love stories going at once. So we get to see a continuation of book 1, of course we get Austin & Casey’s story, and a look at what book 3 will be about with Lauren. Overall a great read. Super steamy. I couldn’t put it down.

I thoroughly enjoyed this wonderful book filled great characters! Lily has a history of always picking the wrong men and Jake has always kept things very casual having never been in love before. They are an interesting combination and reading them sort through their feelings was totally enjoyable! My heart broke for Lily when she found out about her mothers lies, not that I will say any more about that because I don’t want to ruin anything for anyone still to read the book yet. This is the first book in this series and I definitely am looking forward to reading many more!

He’s the broody brother in the family whose temper can go from zero to death row in a heartbeat. She’s the sexy television producer who stops him in his tracks. Are these two opposites nothing more than a one night stand?
He didn’t mean to give Elyse pleasure during the important studio party. Because they could never be anything more than friends, right?
And even though she was drop-dead gorgeous and flaunted her sexy-as-sin charm, he should’ve kept his hands to himself and looked the other way. Until he walked into that party and his gaze landed on her barely-there dress. At that moment he never wanted anything so badly in his entire life.
He’s worked hard to protect his family and call his life his own, but when they become trapped together during a freak snowstorm, all bets are off. She’s made it clear she’s a city girl, and not interested in settling down in a small town like Langston Falls. But watching her on the farm, he starts to see another side of her that has him wishing she’d reconsider.
Will the bond they share be enough to overcome a long distance relationship? Or will his chance at happily ever after explode, leaving him angry and alone?

Love can be ruthless, especially when you’re a Hawke.
You have to be ruthless to be a Hawke.
Our empire in New Orleans has only grown over the years.
And protecting it falls on my shoulders.
Whether it’s in the courtroom or in the streets, I do whatever it takes to get the job done.
We’ve already suffered and lost enough.
I won’t let anything threaten my family or what we’ve built.
But a mysterious woman from my past shows up, with danger in tow.
That’s not all she brings with her.
The little girl stares up at me with the Hawke blue eyes.
Instantly, my entire world shifts.
It isn’t just about defending what’s ours.
Now, it’s about defending what’s mine.

Everything changed for Dorian and Augustine the night an assassin made a terrible mistake. As the two men navigate the aftermath, they can’t deny their developing feelings, but a relationship isn’t in the cards. Broken-hearted, they both move on with their lives, believing they’ll never see each other again. Then the unthinkable happens. Three years later, their wives become friends and can’t wait to introduce each other to their husbands. This is the first book that I have read from this author and I fell completely in love. I wasn’t able to put this book down until I had finished the entire thing from the beginning to end. I’m excited to read more of this authors works in the near future. I highly recommend this book to anyone and everyone.
This is a beautiful novel that goes from London to the wilds of Montana. This is a tale of family and romance, heartbreak and heartache. A woman seeking both her own roots and a place she can belong, finds far more than she could have hoped for. She leaves everything she’s ever known behind in London and moves to Montana to take over the Hardware store left to her by a father she doesn’t remember. Could this small town in nowhere Montana be what she’s looking for and even better, needs? A well written novel with beautiful world building and characters that make you feel like they’re sitting right beside you. A believable story that makes you want to throw caution to the wind and run away to Montana yourself.

While I did enjoy this book there were a couple of things that made me not enjoy it as much as I could. The biggest thing I disliked is the toxic relationships. However the character development and the plot really saved the book and kept me interested to the end. The main character is smart, witty, beautiful and more. While this isn’t quiet friend to lovers or enemies to lovers it does fall into a genre pretty similar, and that alone held my attention for most of the book. But what originally drew me into this book was the beautiful front cover and the synopsis. So if you’re looking for a fun, interesting read make sure to pick this one up today.

I just fell in love with Ginny the moment I met her 😍oh my gosh she had me in stitches while waiting for her rental car 😂and then her road trip began and who needs Christmas carols when you can listen to true crime podcasts 🙈😂
Ginny is heading to Buckeye Falls to visit her dad Harold but it’s also where her ex lives and runs his diner , Max is a nice guy and they parted on pretty good foot ….
Max runs his diner like a well oiled machine with the the help of Evan and CeCe and they are a magic team and they made me laugh
Ginny works for a real witch and I’m so darn proud of her for standing up to her ! Ginny put Ginny first and that’s just marvelous ! Harold needs her as did Max and well she needed them and the people of Buckeye Falls❣️
Max always loved Ginny and pined for her and what they had so watching them rekindle their relationship was a privilege and honour and I loved every minute !
There always has to be that one person that bugs you and in this case it’s Anthony Snyder , nie the mayor of the town but he’s been a thorn in Max’s side since way back when and I must say I would’ve punched his lights out a long time ago and while I was really judgmental of him even he managed to soften my heart towards him but he had to work really hard 😂🤭
Harold is a real sweetheart and he and Max share a special bond and I think he’d been cheering these 2 all the way and was playing Cupid all along 😉😋
CeCe and her story has me intrigued , what or who has her all emotional ? I can’t wait to have her secrets revealed to me 😌

This was the first book by Sheats that i have read; I really enjoyed it. I loved the main characters and how they interacted with each other as well as the bit of background given. I actually would have like a bit more background details, not have them does not take from the book. The story was a quick, easy read which flowed well I would reccomand this book to friends.

What follows is a story of passion and heartache. The book is vibrant with characters that are well-written and a plot that sucks you in. I literally couldn’t put it down! I’m definitely adding this author to my watch list.

An overall great, quick read. This was my first by this author and I really enjoyed it and it was an interesting premise. For a quick read, there was a great storyline with sizzle, drama, and unexpected moments. This is easily read in one sitting and keeps your attention.
The main character, Jasmine, is a likable character with a heartbreaking story. I found myself really rooting for and feeling for her! I also enjoyed the character development of James, especially since I wasn’t sure how I felt about him early on. Then there’s Candace…eesh. When Jasmine has the kiss of her life and then finds out the hot stranger that gave it to her is engaged to her best friend, Candace, what is she to do? Things are not always as they seem, read on to find out what happens!

This was a very good very short read. The characters were cute and the story line was good but I felt like parts needed more detail. There were times where I felt like the story “robbed Peter to pay Paul” so to speak! It was definitely a cute, easy read.

I love this author’s work, and this book is no different! J.N. Sheats instantly grabs your attention in the beginning of My Pearl Heart, and she doesn’t let go until the very end. I found myself entangled with the characters’ lives and at the edge of my seat wanting to know what was going to happen. Jasmine is quite the businesswoman and has her hands full with work and her best friend. All seems well until she receives the most astounding, jaw-dropping kiss of her life. The problem is that the brilliant kisser is her best friend’s boyfriend…and he is now announcing their engagement. You will want to know what happens as fast as your eyes can read because this story will reel you in. Will Jasmine tell her best friend what happened, or will she try and keep the secret to save their friendship? I highly recommend picking this fast-paced romance up and getting lost in it!

This was a really great read that jumps right into the story! The author has a really easy writing style that really flows. You get to read from Jasmine’s point of view, and you want to yell at her sometimes to speak up. You will definitely get frustrated with some of the characters and their situations in this book. Then something I was not expecting at all takes place and my jaw literally dropped. This story turned out to be way more than I expected! It is definitely worth the read and you will not be disappointed!

If you are looking for a quick read and an HEA, look no further. I really enjoyed this book. There are so many twists and turns within the short amount of pages that sometimes I honestly wondered how Sheats was going to take care of everything! But she gets it done! It was well written and the characters were well-developed for the length of the book. I love the dynamic between Jasmine and James and how they compliment each other (even though they may not want to admit it…at first).

Woooow! The first page is fiery hot and definitely pulled me in! We start off with a spicy make out session with a stranger (a very hot and handsome stranger, but stranger none-the-less) on a counter-top in her best friend’s house. It all started with a call from Cadence, Jasmine (our loveable and fiery main character’s) best friend and business partner, feigning an emergency in the early hours of the morning. So our girl grabs a bag and runs out the door in her pajamas to go to Cadence’s house to help fix this “emergency.” Unsurprisingly, it wasn’t a real emergency, and Jasmine lets it go. She currently has bigger fish to fry and needs to figure out what exactly is really going on and why there is a gorgeous man standing in the kitchen when she knows Cadence isn’t seeing anybody. Jasmine and Cadence run an event planning business, and Cadence wants to use the business to plan her spur of the moment engagement with her fiancé-to-be, James Conner. The same man who gave Jasmine the best kiss she’s ever had the pleasure of experiencing. Also part of the prestigious Conner family, who was practically royalty in the area. So what’s a girl to do when she’s so attracted to her best friend’s fiance, (and he’s even more attracted to her?) Read this book and find out!!! I promise you it’s worth the read, and it won’t be the ending you expected!

This story follows Jasmine and James. Jasmine is the owner of Divine Events, a catering company that caters to the social elite. She keeps herself busy with her work, friends, and school so she doesn’t think about her past. James comes from a well-off family. He’s not like them. He’s a former alcoholic who is determined to turn his life around. Problem is, he has a contract to marry someone and now he has eyes for Jasmine.
