What a read! I managed to read this while sick in between my naps and may have dropped my phone/kindle on my face once or twice.
I fell in love with Finn and Abi almost immediately. She would do anything to help her sister and he would do anything to save his career, but the reality shoe he gets roped into may be his limit.
Lots of laughs and colorful characters as well as some tears. Now that I have found these four men I have no intention of forgetting them.

Abi is pretty deep in debt due to her sister’s cancer diagnosis. Unsure of how to pay all these bills, a friend suggests to Abi to apply for the Married Blind television show. Abi thinks about and decides she really has nothing to lose. For 3 months she is going to hang out with a complete stranger who she’ll be married too. However, should she choose, she can walk away at the end and still get paid.
Finn is a television celebrity who’s had his share of scandal and controversy. The solution to repairing his reputation, according to his agent, is to secretly join the show Married Blind and get married. They’ll keep things on the down low while the show is taping and then once they’ve had time to get to know each other somewhat, they can go public. Finn’s not the least bit thrilled with this idea but knows he needs to do something to save his career.
Is it love at first sight? The attraction is there but not sure one could say it was love. Join Finn and Abi as they learn to be husband and wife while just meeting for the first time at the alter. Bonus feature is that Finn is Irish and his friends are all European. The author is also British and uses language from that part of the world. I learned a few new terms! This book is spicy and full of a story of love and redemption.

I’m not usually a fan of Hollywood romances, but I decided to give this one a try since I have read Morgana Bevan before and LOVED her writing! She didn’t disappoint me in the slightest! It was a 5-star read for me!
Abi and Finn are very engaging and complicated characters. I wasn’t too much of a fan of Finn’s in the beginning, but I came to love him by the end of the book. I think I sort of felt like Abi did as she walked down the aisle to meet him for the very first time. He was very sexy and gorgeous to look at, but as soon as he opened his mouth, it didn’t matter how sexy he was. As each chapter progressed, Bevan kept giving me glimpses of him. He wasn’t such a bad guy, just a guy who had been hurt and was afraid of Abi hurting him as every other woman had done. And, Abi, who wouldn’t love her? She was a strong, strong woman who had been dealt some bad cards in life, but she never gave up. Her strength was inspiring, and I loved her relationship with her sister! Because the chapters were told from both Finn’s and Abi’s POV, I was really given an insight into who they were. That was why I opened my heart to Finn! I just kept hoping he would finally open his eyes and not let her slip through his fingers!
There are so many movie star romances out there and that may be why I’m not such a huge fan! However, Bevan really made this one stand out. First, it wasn’t just a movie star romance, it had to do with being on a reality show as well. Second, the book starts with marriage instead of ending with marriage. The question is…will this marriage last? I highly recommend you read this little gem to find out. I don’t think you will be disappointed, and the icing on the cake, Bevan gives us just a little hint of what is coming in the next book, and it appears that it is going to be just as good!

Married Blind is a slow-burn romance featuring Finn Mcarthy and Abi Johnson. Finn’s agent insists he participates in a reality show that has celebrities marry normal people. Begrudgingly, he agrees. Abi’s sister, Eva, and best friend, Roseline, send her the application to join the show. Abi agrees because of the promised money that would help pay off her sister’s medical bills. Interspersed throughout the story are interviews from Tyler. Finn adamantly skirts around the questions. When Abi is surprised to see she is being married to Finn, she decides she will try to make the relationship work. Finn has already decided that after the three months of the show, he would get a divorce and possibly get more work. However, the honeymoon in Bora Bora seems to show Finn and Abi that Tyler had intentionally exploited some of Abi’s fears to force them to interact. Finn was initially attracted to Abi, and he fights the feelings. Abi doesn’t know when Finn is being himself or acting.
This was a great unpredictable romance book. The involvement of the reality show and the various obstacles the couple faces mix comedy, and steamy moments to keep any reader’s interest. The end of the book had me in tears.

First off, just wanted to say that I really loved the writing style. It was super easy and enjoyable for me to read. Second, this book made me feel all the feels. I really got invested in the characters. At first I was iffy about it, since she was betraying her friend and James was cheating!! But it all got resolved so it’s ok. Recommend this book as a quick sweet palate cleanser.

For an actor, playing the loving husband on camera for three months is nothing, right? Except, Abi seems like the perfect woman for Finn. So now? He’s struggling to find balance between tv and reality and holding on to his heart.
I devoured this book. It’s basically everything I love in a quirky billionaire never-met-before romance. Toss in a hunk with an accent and it’s swoon worthy. It was fun, witty, sarcastic and an absolute blast to read. Every attempt to make it last longer didn’t happen and I was done in a day. I’m excited for more in this series of stories for sure.

Married Blind: A Marriage of Convenience Hollywood Romance is the second book in the Kings of Screen series. This can be read as a standalone book. Abi barely keeps afloat with her bills and helps her sister out. Finn, a notorious playboy, needs to rehab his image to save his career. The two come together on a reality show where they must marry and play nice for three months. Of course, nothing good comes easy, but there is a HEA. I enjoyed the characters of Abi and Finn. I am not a fan of reality shows, but I might have watched if this was an actual show. The two are good together with their banter and tension. I enjoyed the difference in their backgrounds and that they were not both Hollywood types or a normal Joe. The contrast helped with bringing the two together. I enjoyed this book and will be checking out more from this author.

Abi and Finn both sign up for a TV show called ‘Married Blind’. Basically they were to get legally married and stay together for 3 months being recorded along the way. After the 3 months are up, the couple are asked if they want to divorce or stay married.
Abi was doing it for the money to pay off her bills (with a slight hope of finding Mr. Right) while Finn, an actor, was doing it to up his image after a previous scandal.
Finn was going in with walls up. He could play the loving husband in front of the cameras but vowed to not get attached. With his emotions all over the place, Abi had no idea what was real and what was acting. One thing was clear though. The sexual tension was undeniable. Finn was having trouble staying away from Abi who seemed to be the perfect fit for him. A person can only deny their true feelings for so long before a line is crossed.
This book was an emotional ride. It made me smile, it made me cry. Meanwhile there was a lot of steam between the couple. I was not expecting the amount of spice in the book after reading the synopsis but boy, I am not complaining! I am not usually a fan of romance without a fantasy aspect to it but I really enjoyed this one! The author did a really good job portraying the emotions of both characters. Highly recommend reading this one!

This was the first book I’ve read by this author but man did I enjoy it! I was pulled in right from the beginning and I couldn’t put it down!
Jasmine, while she tries to ignore memories of her past, seemingly has everything going for her. She got a business, her best friend and her long term relationship. Sure, she has to cater to Cadence’s extreme whims often but all is as it should be. That is until she is given the best kiss of her life only to told seconds later that he is marrying her best friend. Everything seems to fall apart from there. James used to be quite the jerk but everyone can change given the chance. James just needs the chance. He has a dream to fulfill but in order to do so, he can’t have the one thing he really wants – Jasmine. Will Jasmine give him a chance? Will James be able to wait long enough to get everything he wants? What are their options?
I loved this book! It was such a great story. The characters are so realistic. Cadence is a jerk. I didn’t care for her character from the beginning but I know that’s the point. Everything was well written! Definitely recommend!

Abi signs up for a reality TV show on a whim. She works 3 jobs and wants to help her sister financially so why not! Finn is a playboy, forced by his manager to go on this show in an attempt to save his image.
This contemporary Hollywood romance, forced proximity, marriage of convenience story is full of tension, witty banter, spice and romance! Will be doing back to read the first book.

This is the first book I have read from this author and wow my mind was blown away. I love a good unique romance story but this book exceeded all my expectations. I was hooked right away and I couldn’t stop until the end. It only took my a few hours to devour this epic story. I can’t wait to see what this author will write next.
Dorian and Augustine met after an accident that brought them together. They helped each other out after the accident which made them become close. Dorian and Augustine started to get real feelings for eachother but they both had a relationship already so they decided to part ways. It is now three years later Dorian and Augustine meet again. They find out that their wives are good friends now. They are both shocked when they are reintroduced to each other once again. Will they follow their hearts this time or is too late?
Jasmine is such a strong character who has been through so much. She goes in to business with her best friend Cadence. I really didn’t like the character from the first mention of her. Because she comes from money, Cadence thinks she can pretty much do whatever. When Jasmine meets James she gets hooked right away before she finds out she can’t be with Him because of her best friend. However James and Jasmine both have feelings for eachother. Will James be able to walk away from Cadence and his plans to be with Jasmine? I rated this 4 stars. I thought the book was long and couldn’t really keep me interested throughout.

Although she goes in with a small spark of hope that she might actually fall in love, her main goal is to take a much needed vacation from her three jobs now that her sister’s cancer has gone into remission, and collect the paycheck that will maybe finally allow her to get back to her own interests. Finn gets dragged into the show because his playboy antics have gone too far and if he doesn’t find a way to earn some good press, he could be looking at the end of his acting career. Basically, his manager forced him into it. He’s relying on his acting skills to make it through the next three months, get himself out of trouble, and put the whole thing behind him. Things heat up between the couple during a honeymoon staged by the show in Bora Bora, despite Finn’s best attempts to avoid giving into his desires. And Aby questions how her new husband actually feels about her after noticing the facades he puts on when the cameras are rolling. Could his kindness just be an act? As the end of the show approaches, a decision must be made on whether they want to remain married or get divorced. Insecurities begin to creep in and the differences in their lifestyles threaten to pull them apart. Is three months living in a bubble together enough to make things work outside of the show? Can they each get out of their own way enough to let love in? The characters are adorable and funny. The story feels realistic and comes with some steam. Looking forward to more from this author.

This was a really interesting read and one that I did enjoy overall. The way in which the story was written was really good and intriguing. The author wove a tale of complex relationships and I think it’s one of those stories that each reader will have a different feeling or interpretation of what they think the main character Jasmine should do or have done. I will admit that the story was slow to start but really did begin to pick up pace from around the half way mark. A really interesting read that will definitely take you on a rollercoaster of emotions.

4.5/5 stars This is my first read in this series and it’s a great standalone! This book reminds me of a behind the scenes look into how TV shows like Married at First Sight are done. It would actually make for a great drama TV series or movie. It was such a fun read and I found myself chuckling along with Abi. Looking forward to reading the rest of the series!

This was such a great intense romance book. I truly had a hard time putting it down. The author did a great job with the thought process of the storyline, plot, characters etc. As soon as I read the first chapter it had my attention. This book was about how love can be found in unexpected ways. I highly recommend this book.

Meet the Author: Morgana Bevan is a sucker for a rock star romance, particularly if it involves a soul-destroying breakup or strangers waking up in Vegas. She’s a contemporary romance author based in Wales. When Morgana’s not writing steamy rock star and movie star romances, she is working in TV production in the UK.
Synopsis: Married blind is the second book in the King of Screens series. Abi is a devoted sister, working three jobs to help pay her sisters medical bills. When her sister became ill she promised to stand by her side. When given the opportunity to go on a reality TV show for three months for income, it’s a no brainer. Finn, needing a chance to improve his image following some previous relationship shenanigans, agrees to take part in the reality show, but not without cost to the producers.
Reader’s Thoughts: This forced proximity, marriage of convenience, Hollywood romance is full of witty banter, tension, spice, and flirty fun. Although this is the second book within the series, it can be read as a standalone with no negative effect on the story line. The characters are relatable and lovable. If asked to pick a favorite character, I couldn’t pick just one. I enjoyed Abi and Finn equally for different reasons. When all was said and done they truly did make the perfect couple. The story line was a little far-fetched for my liking and I felt as if I knew the outcome from the very beginning. Despite this little hiccup, it would not deter me from recommending this fun read to a friend. I’m interested to see what is in store for book number three.

Dorian is an assassin with a spotless reputation until one night in Miami it all goes wrong, when a stranger walks in front of him as he is just about to take the kill shot, Dorian’s world is plunged into turmoil.
Augustine is in the wrong place at the wrong time and when he is wounded by a stray bullet he wonders how this could have happened, but when the hospital assigns a Physical Therapy trainer to him he starts questioning everything in his life.
I have read some of Naomi’s paranormal books and they are thrilling and sends to magical worlds and realms, so I was a little surprise to read a contemporary Romance book from her. That being said it was still full of the brilliant writing and the story draw you in, the characters are charming and the writing shows the vulnerability of the male characters. I am trying not to give too much away because this is a truly great love story.
Reading this book you will go through the emotions with all the characters and I am glad that you got to find out about all the characters not just Augustine and Dorian. Thank you for a truly brilliant, well written read.

What an introduction from a new to me author. I was intrigued by the description and decided to give it a try and I’m not regretting my decision.
You think the book is heading one way and it then takes a turn which I loved. Augustine and Dorian’s lives are changed in a split second and they have no idea the impact for quite some time.
This is definitely not like a book I have read before and I enjoyed that more than I expected to. Hope I get a chance to read more in the future.

This was a really good 4 star read. Once I started I didn’t want to put it down. Jasmine was great, I really liked her. She is a strong woman who owns her own business with her best friend. Years later, after both have moved for their original states, their wives become friends. As they are keeping their feelings hidden while their wives become close, it is only a matter of time before their secrets start to come out. And as they do, there is not telling who will end up hurt. Is there a way for it all to work out?
This was a quick read that I found to be quite interesting. It really focused on the feelings between Dorian and Augustine…and there are a lot. Love, fear, angst, guilt…all those feelings are there. But, once they are all acted upon, will they be hurting others around them? Or continue hurting themselves by keeping them hidden? I found myself emotionally attached to their situation and felt the pain as all the secrets started to unravel. Overall, a good story that I enjoyed reading!
This book was not my usual fare. It delved into topics that I don’t necessarily avoid, but that I don’t go out of my way to seek out. Lately, I have been expanding what I am trying to read and boy am I glad that I did. This book is such a great blend of genres – it touches on the job of assassins, then it goes deep into romance and then touches into polyamory. I truly enjoyed this book because I definitely didn’t know what to expect so I had an empty mind. I truly enjoyed how this book really explored how one untruth can cause a massive ripple effect. This wasn’t the main focus of the book, but I saw how it really resonated throughout. Because of Dorian’s original lie the entire book had many twists and turns and many others were impacted. I love how there was a real reaction to the men and their indiscretion – if you can even call that it. It wasn’t a blow up, but rather it is what I would view as a real reaction – a request for space and time. I definitely recommend this book, especially for those who want a change of pace and a book that is guaranteed not to disappoint.
I really love finding new authors and also series. This is the first book I have read in this series although I know it is the second one by this author. I really like how the storyline is not predictable and keeps you on your toes. The interaction between the characters is great and how the story builds. I find it has a good mix of drama and romance. The sort of unexpected love mood really gives the edge to the book. I look forward to reading more from this author and the series.

It felt like it had been far too long since I had read a new book by this author so I was beyond excited to get my hands on this one. I knew from experience to set aside enough time to read this book in one sitting because I wouldn’t be able to put it down, which is exactly what happened! I loved the characters in this book. Dorian and Augustine were absolutely perfect together. They made the book so interesting. The overall premise of the book was fantastic as well. It was well written, exciting and just what I was looking for when I picked up this book. This author really has become one of my favourites and I cannot wait to read even more of her work.

As the men struggle in the aftermath, they begin to develop feelings for each other, however, they are both happily married and so decide to stay away from one another. Although they are both broken hearted they are determined to move on with their lives, after all they will never see each other again. Wrong, three years later and Dorian and Augustine are shocked when their wives become friends and the men are introduced. Of course they can’t acknowledge what they mean to each other, but they also can’t deny their feelings and now that they are in each other’s lives again, thanks to their wives, it’s even more difficult to ignore their connection. The descriptive narrative brought both the setting and characters vividly to life, and made me feel immersed in the story. I was kept happily turning the pages wondering how it was going to end, no spoilers, but I definitely recommend reading this page turner of a book.

This is a really good contemporary romance from an author who is new to me. This author usually writes paranormal romance so this was a first for them too, a new genre/trope. For a first go at writing something new and different, I can honestly say that the author has done a really good job and would do well to write more in this genre in addition to their usual. Dorian and Augustine are brought together as a result of an assassination attempt gone wrong. While helping Augustine to recover, a strong attachment is forged between the two men, however, both men are happily married to beautiful wives that they adore. So what do they do with the growing attraction they have to each other? To answer that question here would result in giving spoilers which I am not going to do. I wouldn’t want to spoil this story for another reader. I would encourage them to give this book a try and find the answer for themselves. In doing so you will find a well written story that flows well and keeps you engaged throughout. I would recommend this book.

What a wonderful story! The writing is smooth and moves along at a great pace. I was easily drawn into the story and characters. I eagerly looked forward to picking this up every night and diving back in to Jasmine’s life wondering what was going to happen next. All the characters are well done. I liked some and others I could hardly stand. Which is as it should be.
This is my first book by this author. I liked the writing story and how she moved the book along at a quick pace. I look forward to more from this author

This book is book two of the series. This book can be read as a standalone. I didn’t read any other books in the series before diving into this one and didn’t feel like I missed too much. I will be going back though because it was just that good.
Abi is working three jobs and is barely above water at this point. She doesn’t have time for anything let alone to find the man of her dreams. The reality tv ad might seem a little crazy but what does she have to lose at this point. Finn needs to clean up his image. What a better way then to show the world a dedicated husband. Finn isn’t happy about it but he doesn’t have much of a choice. That is until he meets Abi. Did they have to find the perfect girl for him? However, these two need to drop their walls or they may lose everything.
I really enjoyed this book. It was well written. The characters are great. The banter is funny. I definitely recommend!
