I was excited to see more of Elsa and Anton. We first see them in the Conveniently Yours. I have to say I was extremely interested in seeing a book about the main characters as already together. This story spoke to me about the themes. I rooted for them through it all. Love conquers all. But will it be for them?

I love a good friends-to-lovers book. Even if there is a 20-year gap in the friendship. Caspian and Paisley are thrown together after 20 years, both with their own issues. One is an uncle who issues an ultimatum to marry for one year or lose everything that matters to him. The other is in debt up to their eyeballs with medical bills. They come up with a plan and watch it play out.

I have really loved this series and getting to know all of the characters so I was looking forward to reuniting with the characters in this book as well as finding out more about Yolanda. I have to admit I didn’t love it as much as the others but saying that it was still beautifully written with some really sad parts that definitely pulled on my heartstrings. I really did want to shout at Yolanda and Michael at some parts – so much heartache between them because of lack of communication! I really felt for Yolanda and what happened to her, I can feel how much it affected Michael too and how he didn’t want to speak up in. fear of upsetting her. Jayne was such a sweetie though! She was definitely the glue for them both! It was lovely to see the progress in the lives of some of the other characters too! I have really loved this series and would definitely recommend this book and the others to other readers!

This book is about the journey of one unexpected couple in their search for love is chronicled in this lovely Romantic Comedy.
Three leaves make up a Shamrock. There is no limit to how many Clovers a Clover may have. Faith, hope, and love are all commonplace. Luck, on the other hand, is usually number four. When it comes to love, he’s a sinner; she’s a saint. They’re both on the lookout for the coveted fourth leaf, as well as some good fortune. They could just discover it and each other if they meet in the middle.
I loved this story. I loved every page of it. Every chapter was exciting. This is my first book from this author and I can’t wait to read more from this author.
This is book one of the series and as a warning, it does end on a cliffhanger but that is noted in the blurb. This book brings us some steamy romance and a good heaping pile of drama.
Stella’s younger years were a bit wild but now she is sober and crushing it as a surgeon. Stella likes to keep things interesting with her love life and juggles three very eligible bachelors. Could one of them be the one she settles down with or are none of them the perfect fit? Stella thought she had time to figure it out but life doesn’t always go as planned.
I really enjoyed this book. It was a nice change of pace to see Stella know what she wants and not be afraid to play the field a bit. The characters were great.

Clover, always looking for a four leaf clover to solidify her Luck. Shamrock, Patrick always looking for fun and a one night stand until he realizes all his friends are settling down. When Shamrock finds Clover looking around in a patch to find something, he is drawn to her. Who would have thought that Shamrock and Clover would be a perfect fit? The lengths that Shamrock goes to, to make Clover his are too cute for words. This book was a cute quick read. While there are some sad moments and you really want to give Clover a hug, Shamrock is just what she needs.
This book is a BWWM romance with an age gap and a “Nerdy” vibe to it. I absolutely love the plot, I love the character development and the fangirl approach to the story. The way the Male Main Character encourages the FMC to follow her dreams and that he would even help her. Her resolve to “make it on her own” and not ride his coat tails was pretty awesome and oh my their chemistry together is flamable. I adore them and was rooting for them the whole time. LOVE LOVE this story.
This is my first read by this author and I am unsure how to explain how I feel about it. It will have you turning pages and not wanting to ever put it down. The hangover you have at the end will leave you wanting to know more and more. Grace and Ian are both fighting battles and together they are bound to conquer the world.
This story was an interesting read. It was this authors debut novel and I can see good things in the future based off this book. It is slow to start but it picks up eventually. We dive into the world of comic cons and my inner geek was happy. This story was fun and I thought it was an interesting book to spend my evening reading. I’ll be looking for other reads like this in the future. Happy Reading!
Cosplay Worthy by Quiana Glide is a fun story. My curiosity was immediately piqued at the thought of finding love through a Comic-Con. So, I grabbed a copy and set off to find out what happens. Layla is excited to attend the Comic-Con and has gone to great lengths to come up with the perfect cosplay costume to wear – as her favourite comic book author will be there and she is beyond excited to meet him. Throw in a meet-cute, some humour, secrets, steam, insecurities, love, acceptance, finding yourself, nerdy fangirl girl meets famous writer, a little drama, and finding love unexpectedly- and we get an entertaining story. The book was a little slow to get going, and did lag a little at times- but overall, I enjoyed the story and meeting Layla and Vic. I am interested to see what Ms. Glide has in store for us next! Happy reading!

A fairly quick read. Warning, this one ends in a cliffy, but it’s worth the journey.
I enjoyed the overall storyline, and to see Stella’s growth, from alcoholic , to renowned doctor (who loves a little loving on the side) who has a penchant for making bad decisions, to someone who’s willing to put in the time and effort into a serious relationship. I feel like there could have been less drama had people just talked to one another, but where’s the fun in that in a novel, right?
This one sort of threw me because the title description is misleading, this is not a love triangle, but rather Stella has three potential suitors. All Doctors. While the author touches on the hospital’s fraternization policy, I’d hate to be in their HR department because it seems like people are hooking up with colleagues left and right.
I enjoyed that each of the potential partners got a decent chunk of the book and that for the most part the friendship and work relationship prevailed over everything else.
As the author states in the description, this isn’t your average romance. It will have you hating the characters at times, rooting for them in others, and all around pulling your hair out trying to figure out what’s going to happen next. It’s kind of like a telenovela re Jane the Virgin. Enjoy!

Stella!! The self-awareness and strength that she possesses is amazing. This is a short, steamy tale of how Stella is finally taking control over her own life. After years of addiction, Stella is sober but still craves that feeling she used to get with alcohol. Stella has rededicated herself to her job as a doctor and finds time to partake in some stimulating parts of life. As Stella finds the guy she is willing to commit to, his own insecurities and her bad habits destroy what they had. There is so much riding on decisions Stella has to make regarding her future.
The author writes strong, smart, resilient women that rule their place in male-dominated worlds! Stella is just another example of that. She owns who she is and her decisions. She rocks and so does this book. Can’t wait for the next one!!

This book almost had me screaming! Holy heck of a cliffhanger! I DEFINITELY have to read this sequel now! I have read Wildcat by this author before, and apparently this is a different series from that one, but with recurring characters kind of, so now I’m desperately wanting to go back and read that series. I thought this was a continuation of Wildcat (I apparently did not pay much attention at the end of that one) and alas, it is not. I did not quite enjoy this one as much as the previous book I’ve read from this author, it seemed harder for me to get into, but I really liked it more towards the end. It is steamy and definitely an 18+ novel. This was also a really quick read, so I enjoyed that as well. I can’t wait for the next installment of this one!

This is the third book in the Titans of Manhattan series, and it is just as steamy as the first two. Rhyann’s dream of dancing with a scholarship to a renowned Ballet school is coming true but can she afford the rising costs of moving to New York? Out with her roommate, Rhyann has an encounter with a gentleman she had never met before. Expecting to never see each other again, they are surprised when she applies to a club Mason owns. Will he hire her? Do they have a chance for any kind of relationship if he does hire her? This author can write chemistry between two characters that jumps off the page at you. The kind of chemistry most of us only dream about. I happily pick up any book by this author, knowing I will not be disappointed.

This book was very fun to read! Stella is an independent woman who knows exactly what she wants. And what man could resist that? Throughout the story, her wants and needs change until she finds herself in a sticky situation. Read this book, it is a fun short novel that will get your blood pumping and your imagination running.

Unchecked: A Steamy Love Triangle Medical Romance (MetroGen Kiss and Tell #1) by Carina Alyce
This isn’t the first book I’ve read by the author. Another fantastic book and it’s another MetroGen book. This is the first book in the MetroGen Kiss and Tell Series. It does end on a major cliffhanger.
Stella is a doctor at MetroGen. Sober and trying to stay that way. She can’t seem to stay away from sex. Three guys and she ends up pregnant. The quote I chose for Stella is: “See, I go for more of the fake-gentle approach of psychological flaying. Ask them uncomfortable questions in the middle of a high focus procedure.”
There were three men and I really couldn’t find any quotes that stood out for me. You’ll have to read to find out who they are and how they fit in with Stella and her crazy life.
Highly recommended for Contemporary Romance lovers.

This is the first book I have read by this author, and although I enjoyed it and it is a sweet read I just couldn’t get into it enough it just didn’t draw me in. I felt like I was waiting for something drastic to happen but it never came. The characters are well written and the concept of the whole book was great but just not for me unfortunately.
This book was one that I was very excited to read. This book was funny, flirty, steamy, nerdy and a lot of fun. Vic and Layla were drawn to each other by attraction as well as common interest. When they initially meet at Comic Con Layla taps into her creative side being dressed as one of her favorite comic book characters as she meets its creator Vic. Layla is shy but in a sense bold as well when she has her costume on and gets to chat a bit with Vic. Vic who is a comic book author is sexy, talented, and down to earth. When he tags their picture together from Comic Con they soon begin an innocent and supportive friendship that turns romantic and steamy.
They are each great characters who have so much more to who they are then meets the eye. As their relationship truly begins its course there are a lot of things they begin to learn and see within each other hand while some good there are still a lot that raise questions. They wonder if the things that hold them together are strong enough to weather things that hold them back. This was an amazing book and our nerdy girl and laid back guy are worth every page of this read!

I loved this book! If you’re a nerd, you will love this book. Even if you aren’t, you will love this book! Layla is the main character and it is written from her point of view. She is such a relatable character. She’s funny and witty, but so awkward and out of place all of the time. Alex is her best friend who is, of course, the opposite. She’s fun and exciting, adventurous and very outgoing. She’s Layla’s counterpart perfectly. This book is a love story, but it also speaks out for nerds everywhere. Our characters go to conventions and comic book signings, and everybody loves those. Vic is a comic book writer, well known, and great at what he does. However, the comic book industry is, like many industries, male dominant. This is not only a love story, or a nerdy story, but it is about raising that glass ceiling for women everywhere trying to break through and be seen as equal and capable in a male dominant career. I love this book and I know everybody will.
This is a shirt Contemporary romance that is so hot and steamy it will really make you sweat. It is such an easy book to get into and I really found myself flying through. I worked reading about Stella and her life. She is fun and refreshing to read about. The whole book is great entertainment from start to finish and after the way this book ended I cannot wait for the next.

I just love finding new authors. This is the first book from this author I have read and oh man I just loved it. The characters are so down to earth and realistic and well hey I am just as much a comic geek and I love cosplay. This book was just a breath of fresh air from my norm.
I like how there is drama and romance and it is well balanced. I like how the storyline is not overly done and is very unique. I also like how the drama is not all straight forward and predictable. I will definitely read more from this author.
I enjoyed the storyline of this but I did feel like it dragged a little too much for me. It was something different and not bad for a debut novel. Though I felt as if the pacing was off and for me I couldn’t quite connect with it. I liked the relatable characters and it was quite sweet.

No lie chapter one started of slow. I always try to read the synopsis before I read the book to make sure it’s something I’m interested in. The synopsis had me hooked so I kept reading the book despite the slow start. I’m sure glad I did! You know how they say “Never judge a book by it’s cover!”? Well you shouldn’t judge a book by the 1st few pages either. This story actually took several twists and turns that I wasn’t expecting. It was very well written. I enjoyed the storyline and the characters. I will be keeping my eyes open for book #2 because the cliffhanger has me shook! I need to know what happens.

My father told me once that anything that gets your blood racing is worth the risk doing. I didn’t factor in that I have to face the tragic loss of my best friend, discover that my mother has Alzheimer and come face to face with a girl who broke my heart all those years ago.
Yet, coming back to my hometown in Tennessee—after being gone for ten years—leaving behind a racing career in the MotoGP world, I’d have to deal with the trials set before me in this small town. I’d rather take on the track, lose skin, break bones, and tear muscle than to make the decision that’ll change my life forever.

I thought my life is perfect. Working as a nurse, a boyfriend who’s a doctor, and friends I cherish dearly. Then, the second Deacon Saint comes back home, my ideal life shifts to utter chaos. My boyfriend turns out to be a jerk, I almost lose my job and I’m faced with losing my heart again to the man that broke into the first place.
Deacon shattered me before he left our town and now he thinks it’s water under the bridge and is determined to reclaim my heart. It’s going to take more than sweet talkin’, fast motorcycles, and good old Southern country charm to win me back.

Stella Magi rally is a busy girl both in her personal life and professional life and then to top it off she’s rather social and I just couldn’t keep up 🤪 at a stage I thought she gave up one addiction ( alcohol) for another(men) but hey I’m not judging …..
Now her 3 men are Glazier , the orthopaedic surgeon and he’s more the friends with benefits and their arrangement seems to work for them .
Doyle , our delectable red headed and freckled Mcsteamy and I’m sure he could charm the petticoat off a nun 😂
Alex , the one legged neuro , I liked him the most he seemed genuine and a real gentleman ❣️
So between them all they’re brilliant at what they do in all aspects , I mean hello hot and steamy , need I say more !? Now while our Stella was honest and upfront I was a little annoyed with her and what went down with her and Alex but again who am I to play judge Judy !?
Stella has a gift but who does it come from !?!? Who does it belong to ? Before I spend to much time pondering … I find myself rereading a few paragraphs here from around 73% just in case I miss something …. DRAMA👍
Elizabeth and her gaggle have Stella’s back and Elizabeth had me in stitches about what comes out her mouth 😂
While we had fair warning about the cliffy , it still caught me ! Now I wait ….

This is the 3rd book in the Titans of Manhatten series. I have loved all these books. Each romance is full of passion and obstacles that leaves you wondering if they will work out or not and this one is no exception. Even though it is past of a series they can be read as standalone as each book focuses on one couple. I love the characters. The author has a great way of bringing the characters to life and giving them a back story that is believable and relatable. Everyone goes into new relationships with a history and that history affects you in the new relationship and the author does a great job of showing that.
Rhyann has always dreamed of being a dancer in a ballet school. When her dream finally comes true she moves to New York to pursue her dreams, however things aren’t as good as she imagines and when she finds herself in need of a job her roommate has an idea. Why don’t the work in the club as pole dancers. A good income and its still dancing right? That is where Rhyann meets Mason again.
Mason is one of the Titans. He is wealthy and respected. He doesn’t do relationships prefer to keep his entanglements casual. He runs the club where the girls go for jobs and instantly he recognises Rhyann. She is one women he can’t forget.
What follows is a fast paced story full of emotion and sizzling attraction. The question is will Mason finally be tamed by a woman or will he keep fighting to stop mixing business with pleasure.
