What I love most about this book is that the perspective of what is going on in this particular character’s life is from Parker’s point of view. There is no other point of view involved like these type of books usually are. It does show that not only women go through difficult situations and struggles, it’s also men. Parker does show a lot of character development especially showing the reader how he was (his past) compared to how he is at the end of the novel. The minor characters show a lot of support towards Parker to show that he’s not alone.

What a beautiful story of new beginnings at a second chance for love. A broken heart can often make us think there is no chance but these two brought some hope. This was a journey that kept me engaged in the story and rooting for them. An absolutely sweet story and I loved the grumpy contractor. I’m a sucker for sweet stories like this. This is a new author to me and I’m glad I found her. I hope to see more.

So sweet a story, I love to see good come from being stood up. This story also brought out the feels. You could feel the passion in the story. I could relate to her struggle. I enjoyed the story, the characters and watching how it went. This is a fantastic romance series. It’s the closest to realistc that I’ve hit upon in awhile. One of my favorite authors, I always look forward to her books and I can’t wait to see what the next book brings.

I fell in love with this contemporary romance. I’m a sucker for a couple dealing with a painful past that they have to get over. The strength it takes to make a go is worth reading. I found their chemistry to be exciting. The story is entertaining and got a few giggles out of me. It is engaging and the characters are relatable. The one thing I can always enjoy in this author’s books is the fact that her characters are so unique and so very relatable. Another winner in my book. I recommend this one.

Oh my goodness, this one worked all emotions. Both heartbreaking and heartwarming, this story will take you on a journey of two hearts that work their way back to each other. The writing is beautiful and you can feel the passion and love and pain in the writing. The characters are very well-written. I was so into this one. My kindle app was glued to my hand. A beautiful story that needs to be read.

Wow, this was an awesome book. Cadence had some lessons to learn. Boy, could I relate to this story. Once I started, it really wasn’t possible to put it down. I was talking to Cadence as I was reading. Life coaching as you go along. Strong writing made this a story that just grabs you. Yes, Cadence had her whiny and weak moments but don’t we all. Watching her grow was nice. The steam is fabulous. Their chemistry is their but I do like a male character that does the right thing. This is one of those stories you should read.

I was so excited to get my hands on the next book in this series. I have loved each and every one so far and what another great addition this one turned out to be. As with all the books in this series, I loved the characters. I found them to be so engaging and relatable, and their chemistry was too much to deny. I really enjoyed this story as well. This author has such a skill at matching the story perfectly with the characters she has created. It was entertaining, full of romance and just really well written from start to finish. This is a brilliant book and an overall fantastic series.

By Your Side is Book 1 of the Willowbrook Lake series and this is a new author to me. I LOVED this book so much. I could not put it down….pulling at my heartstrings with some tears but loved this book. I love a small town romance that gives me romance, broken hearts, friendship, trust and the ability to find your way through grief. The story of Owen and Adeline just pulls you in so deep.
Adeline is picking up the pieces as she loses love of her life..her husband. A fresh start is where she takes herself to Willowbrook Lake…just to breathe again. It is never easy losing someone you love so hard, but Adeline dives into fixing up a very old house and quite possibly more than she bargained for. Owen is Willowbrook Lake’s handyman. Being a jack of all trades, Owen has a great reputation with the town and the people…fixing anything that they need. Adeline hires Owen to help her with the renovations to the old house…but as Adeline and Owen spend everyday together, the more feelings Owen develops. Stout of My League is the final book of the Love on Tap Series by Sylvie Stewart. Even if you haven’t read the previous books in the series you should be able to follow along with the story well enough. If you’re like me though you’ll definitely want to go back and read the other three books first. I loved the characters and banter, both helping to make the story flow. Lynn, the youngest of the Brooks siblings, is focused on her schooling and future when she meets Joey Martel, star shortstop for the Asheville Arrows. Finding out Joey is a jock and a seemingly overbearing protector Lynn decides that he’s not for her. The following year, Joey ends up injured and needing treatment; it’s impossible for Lynn to ignore her attraction for him. Joey knows Lynn is the one and he’ll do his best to make her see he’s not an overbearing jock. Throw in the typical Brooks family hijinks, a little mystery, the perfect amount of spice, and you have a quick enjoyable read!

I enjoyed reading this romance story. This is a newer author for me which I enjoyed how she pulled me into her story using details that made the characters come to life. They are connectable and written with a lot of heart and soul. This is a well written story about what happens when unexpected love finds you out of nowhere. I enjoyed Owen and Adeline. They are relatable characters that I had no problem picturing myself in their world. They have great chemistry and attraction throughout the story which made it easy to read. This is a fast paced, hard to put down story that you don’t want to miss. I enjoyed reading this book and I think you will too. I look forward to seeing what is next for this author and this series. I highly recommend this book.

These are the important ingredients for a great romance novel and Julie checked every box with this. Finding Love is the second installment of the Clumsy Little Heart Trilogy. Rachel was a fave of mine in the first book and it was great seeing her fall in love again after an out of nowhere breakup. Rachel puts everyone before herself. She’s unselfish and caring and deserves a love that matches what she puts out in the universe and Miguel does just that. The chemistry is blazing off the pages. Definitely a great read.

I appreciated how they continued to develop and grow over the course of the story. It added extra depth and dimension to their tale. And made it easy to invest in them and the outcome of their story- Cadence and Damien really were perfect for each other. Being the first book that I have read by Ms. Terry, I really wasn’t sure of what to expect to find between the covers- so I was curious to find out. This proved to be an emotional contemporary romance with second chances, love, loss, grief, anger, heartache, drama, angst, challenges, hope, redemption, and more. Blakely had her heart broken by Jamie years ago, and it took her a long time to rebuild her shattered life after him. But just when things seem so perfect, Jamie walks back into her life. And it’s obvious from the outset, that the flame that once burned between them had never fully extinguished. What does fate have in store for these two? The Love on Tap series has been one of the greatest series’ I have ever read. I am in love with the whole Brooks family. Their obsession with Big Foot, a pet skunk, and their quirky names all from past country singers. I am truly in love with them all and this fourth book has wrapped up the mystery surrounding all the incidents that have happened throughout the series. I am in awe of how the author, Ms. Sylvie Stewart, tied all of this up in a pretty little bow and WOW I sure did not see that coming. WONDERFUL series. I cannot wait to see where she takes us next.

This is book 4 in an amazing series. The series is about the Brooks Family. Cash, Carter, Denny, Miller and the baby sister of the bunch Lynn. Lynn is treated like a precious jewel by all Of her brothers and she hates it. They see her as their kid sister not an almost 20 year old woman going to college to be a sports therapist. She’s currently working at a concession stand at Ardent Park. When she hears so Done yelling help as she’s crouching over a man on the floor. Lynn stays very calm, calling 9-1-1 and keeping the man alive until help arrives. A dark haired hottie who also works at the stadium was there trying to assist her but wasn’t much help. They run into eachother again and make plans to meet up another time. Dark haired hottie is the shortstop for the Arrows who play at Ardent Park. They end up getting together but not before Lynn decides she can’t be with him. They see eachother a year later and have a 2nd chance romance thing going. Lynn is very stubborn and she annoyed me at times but Joey kinda knew how to handle her….kinda. The. Throw in all the drama that’s been happening with Larry being stolen in previous books, Miller’s accident, the fire, the people trying to buy the three properties where the owners do not want to sell. This book had some steam, some sweet moments, lots of suspense and an ending you aren’t expecting. At least I wasn’t. Another great addition to the series. Loved it!!!

I thought this would just be a romance but it’s also about trauma, hitting rock bottom, healing, and redemption. It was a really good story, I enjoyed the descriptions of the characters and the setting. I know it’s part of a series but you don’t need to read the previous books to get what’s happening. The author describes what happened in the previous books with the characters each one was about. I do recommend reading the triggers before starting the book as it talks about addiction, abuse, and some other topics some might not like reading about.

I really loved this book. I have enjoyed this author in previous books and was not disappointed! This is book 4 of a series, but I was able to read it as a stand alone and it was fine, but I will be going back to read the previous books since this one was so much fun. Cute rom-com style, with a little spice, but not a crazy amount. Baseball players, protective brothers, lots of humor, and so much more. Lynn and Joey are just such a great pair in this story! Great book for a summer read!

I gotta say this story was pretty dang adorable. Rachel gets stood up for a dinner date, and Miguel swoops in to save her night. You could literally see the chemistry burning right off the pages. Rachel is frustrated because she has high hopes in a date that ends with not so great results. So she tries everything, but realizes with Miguel, that just because you might not be someone’s cup of tea, but there is always one out there that you are their cup of tea. I honestly am a sucker when the guy makes food for the girl. In most stories it’s the other way around, so seeing this different switch was a breath of fresh air. It was pretty cool seeing Ryan and Tess as side characters in this book. The acceptance by both sides was phenomenal. I can’t wait to read more from Julie!

This story of Tess and Ryan was super sweet. My heart broke when the evens with Ryan and his longtime girlfriend/fiancé broke it off. But I’m glad he did because I did not like her one bit. Tess wasn’t my favorite in the beginning, but as she began to grow and learn from her past mistakes she got better. The self-loathing did seem a little much, but both were stuck in the spiral of self-depreciation, and that’s sometimes hard to get out of. Julie really did an excellent job with this story and I really enjoyed it a lot. The spice was there and the romance progression was really well done! The storytelling was done beautifully and It was a good pallet cleanser between my dark romance stories.

Parker Bartin was at the top of his game partying like there was no tomorrow and women at every turn, that is until he met Megan. With Megan he found someone he connected with and created a beautiful little girl. He went from party boy to khaki dad in an instant, but he was still feeling empty and distant. Parker finds himself at a crossroads which could lead to having it all or destroying it all and Parker will have to look inside himself to see which path he really wants.
I felt for Parker, there is a lot of his history that haunts him and even though he is trying to be the best he can be for Megan and his daughter he is failing in a way he doesn’t quite understand. I thought there was a rawness to this story that kept me wanting to find out what would happen next for Parker. An emotional rollercoaster of a story.

After months of waiting for this book to come out, I finally got my hands on it and it was just as good as the others. Lynn is the youngest and only girl in her family, but she’s got a good head on her shoulders and a set career path she’s working on. She has four overprotective brothers and she is trying to prove to them that she doesn’t need protecting. She meets a baseball player while interning for the Summer selling hotdogs, and he seems to tick all of her boxes and be perfect for her, despite her not being into sports at all. Yet he messes up a couple times and runs her off, and she tries to keep him at a distance but fate keeps bringing them back together. Even Joey mentions his mom was big on signs and he kept getting them when it came to Lynn. It takes some effort to win Lynn back over, and he has to learn to not be as protective as her brothers, even tho it’s in his nature. Great banter and chemistry in this story and there’s even a conclusion to all the things that have been going wrong throughout all the books, including their family’s missing sentimental sasquatch totem. Love this series and author. Will always pick up a book when I see Sylvie’s name connected.

Stout of My League is the fourth book in the Love on Tap series by Sylvie Stewart. I have loved reading my way through this series, so there was no doubt that I would be diving into this one as soon as it hit my Kindle. And I am happy to report that Ms. Stewart didn’t disappoint here, in fact, this is now my favourite of the series (but I think I have said that with every instalment 😊). This is a fun romcom with a forbidden romance element, baseball, family dynamics, forced proximity, humour, funny quips, banter, antics, chemistry, sizzle, family, angst, drama, mystery, secrets, surprising developments, and emotion. The humour and banter here were nicely balanced by emotion and all the sweet and tender touches that I have come to expect from Ms. Stewart. Even though we knew Lynn from previous books, we hadn’t really gotten that much information about her- so it was great to finally get to know her well. I loved Lynn and Joey from the outset, so it was easy to become invested with them and the outcome of the story. I really recommend this book, and series- and highly suggest that you read the other 3 books in the series (if you haven’t already done so) before starting on this one, as there are spoilers contained within. This is the start of the series and it starts with a bang. I couldn’t put it down. I read this book in a day. It was a quick read for me because it flowed really smoothly all throughout the book. The meet cute in this book is so worth it. It brings a whole new meaning to the title. lol. This boo had me giggling and on the verge of tears at one point. I feel that it was really well written in order to pull all of those emotions out of me. The characters are well rounded and have development throughout the story. I feel that the following books in the series will be about the supporting characters in this book, so it is laying a great foundation for the rest of the series. There is an element that ties into the previous books which I don’t want to give away so I’ll just say I so did not see that coming!! Do yourself a huge favour and read not only this book but all 4 Love on Tap books you truly won’t regret!! I loved them all from start to finish. All the characters weaved their way straight into my heart where they will stay for a very long time!

Whiskey Throttle (Moto X Series Book 6) by Brooke May is a great contemporary Romance series
Parker Bartin appears to be a man who has it all to anyone who looks at him. The family, the wealth, and the celebrity to round out his universe. However, Parker’s life is not at all ideal. He’s gone absolutely insane, just as lost as his sister Paige, from when he was a party animal, drowning himself to cope with the tragedies of his past in a very different way. Parker ignores what is going on in front of him as he tries and fails to be what he believes he needs to be. He is in danger of losing everything, including his lucrative work, his freedom to pursue his interests, and his partner with whom he spends every evening.
Every page was exciting and I couldn’t wait to see what would happen. The story really brings us into their world. I couldn’t put the book down.

Finding Love is the second book in the Clumsy Little Hearts Trilogy by Julie Navickas. This is a sweet, heart-tugging contemporary romance story about letting go of the past in order to embrace the future. About journeying through heartache, by finding the healing power of love. This is Rachel Prescott and Miguel Rodriguez story- who were wonderfully developed individuals, beautifully flawed with their own unique personalities, quirks, and flaws. Rachel has been unlucky in finding love, her experiences begin to weigh on her. While Miguel has had his own heartache when it came to love. But love always finds a way. Trusting Love is the first book in the Trading Heartbeats Trilogy by Julie Navickas. It is an angsty and emotional contemporary romance all about new beginnings, redemption, and finding love unexpectedly. I have to be honest here and say I was not sure I ‘wanted’ to read this book when I first read the blurb as I realised ‘who’ the FMC was. But, as I have always enjoyed the stories that Ms. Navickas has written, I decided to trust her, take a chance, and dive in. And I am soooo glad that I did. We met Tess Browning in the Trading Heartbeats Trilogy, and I didn’t particularly ‘like’ her there (and that’s putting it very mildly)- so I was pretty certain that I wouldn’t like her here either. But, I was so wrong. She, and Ms. Navickas won me over with this heartwarming story of love and redemption! All the ‘feels’… Happy Reading!

This is book six in The Moto X series, although I would bet it is best to read them in order, and If they are all this good then you definitely should. I did read this as a standalone and did fine. Yet I will be reading the others because I liked it so much. This is Parker’s story, whom you will find to be a complex dark kinda guy, yet very intriguing. It is a very thought-provoking story so full of emotion (maybe some triggers) as Parker rises up from rock bottom. A very well written contemporary romance with motorcross, fast paced, great characters, heartache, drama and second chances. Definitely grab this book. You won’t be disappointed.

An enjoyable and engaging contemporary romance which kept me happily turning the pages. Tess Browning has the nickname ‘Little Vixen’ and she has earned it! Playing by the rules just resulted in her having been trapped in a loveless marriage. Commitment and faithfulness are not important to Tess, preferring to keep things ‘fun, flirty and sultry’. Meanwhile Ryan Prescott has been left emotionally damaged and with a broken heart by a past relationship. When Tess and Ryan meet they share an instant connection and Ryan manages to charm his way into her heart. But Ryan is wary after his last relationship and when the details come to light, Tess knows he won’t like her past indiscretions. Therefore, she will do anything to keep him in the dark, but Ryan hates dishonesty and if he finds out her secret it may ruin both their chances at true love. I liked how the story was told from multiple POV’s, but I wasn’t keen on the third person narrative. However, over all I enjoyed the heartwarming and emotional storyline and I found the characters likeable and relatable. Ryan and Tess’s chemistry came across in the narrative and I was hoping they would get their HEA, No Spoilers, I recommend reading this romance to find out the outcome!!
