Fearless Love (The Bennetts of Langston Falls, Book 5) by KG Fletcher – Review by Tara Johnson Barnes

Fearless Love (The Bennetts of Langston Falls, #5)Fearless Love by K.G. Fletcher
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Fearless Love is Book Five in The Bennetts of Langston Falls Series. It is a small town, single mom, second chance contemporary romance that centers around the characters of James and Sara. James has just had his heart broken by the woman he thought was the love of his life. He had planned a special night for the two of them and was intending to propose when she broke the devastating news to him that she did not see a future in Langston Falls and was leaving to pursue a career in the FBI. Sara is a travel nurse who has been hired to provide at-home care for James’ dad after he has suffered a heart attack. Her world centers around her eight-year-old son and she has a hard time putting down roots due to the nature of her job. When Sara and her son arrive in Langston Falls, they make a small motel their temporary home until something better comes along. When James learns that Sara and her son are staying in a motel, he wants to help and offers to have them stay with him as his roommates. James has sworn off relationships and is not expecting to find himself so drawn to Sara and the possibility of having a family of his own. Sara is fiercely independent, used to being on her own, and lives like a gypsy so the thought of staying in one place too long does not seem ideal to her. Is there a possibility of a future between James and Sara or will she move on at the first chance she gets? I love that the story is told from both James and Sara’s POV so that it enables a better understanding of each character. This book had love, loss, friendship, family bonds, romance, hope, secrets, drama, angst, and witty banter. Another superbly written book in this series by this talented author.

Looks can be deceiving. What looks like an ideal world is not what it seems. We catch up with old friends and characters from the previous books. Make sure to read the books in this series in order. The story flows well and is well written.
Stars in the City by Krysten Lindsay Hager is a romance tale for YA/NA readers. It is a short story that is full of the usual insecurities, drama and angst, anxiety, jealousy and misunderstandings just to name a few.
Valeria is an actress but hates the notoriety that comes with it. She hates the spotlight and prefers to stay in the background. Try dating someone who is famous whilst having to deal with the fame is not what she could have ever imagined. Falling for your first love all over again who is famous in his own right, and it could be a recipe for disaster.
Krysten is known to be good at writing this genre for the YA/NA readers so get on board and start reading her books today.

The Complete Echo Series: A Heartfelt Romance Collection (The Echo Series) by C.R. Alam – Review by Jenni Bishop

The Complete Echo Series (Echo #1-4)The Complete Echo Series by C.R. Alam
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

4.5 stars
This extraordinary series is now in one box set for your reading pleasure. No need to see what book comes next or where to get it from because it is all four books together to read one after the other.

Echoing Hearts is a Contemporary Romance tale and the first book in The Echo series, and it was a lovely story.
Our two MCs are both strong willed and always have to be right. Both with issues from the past this was not an easy journey, but it was fun watching them come together. There is angst, drama, a lot of passion and steamy scenes, and let’s not forget the humour. I really enjoyed the push pull and tension between the two as they are both as stubborn and strong-willed as each other. This heartfelt tale will pull on the ol’ heart strings along the way. There are a couple of twisty turns and a blast from the past as the road to love is not always paved with gold. I really like the secondary characters and can’t wait to see if they get their own stories.

His Forever Muse is a romantic suspense friends to lover’s second chance story. It is the second book in The Echo series. I enjoyed the first book Echoing Hearts, so I was looking forward to seeing the secondary characters from the first book get their own story and what this book brought to the series. I fell in love with this book even more. Although this story has some domestic violence themes, which may cause some triggers the author did a good job of not writing it graphically. This heartfelt tale will make your heartache along the way as we watch our female lead find herself in a safe and loving environment that helps her to find herself and her strength once again. There is pain and suffering, angst and fear, tension and suspense and a couple of twists and an unpleasant ex from the past.

Unexpected Entanglement is the third book in The Echo series. I really enjoyed the first two books in the series and this one is no different. I like that CR has intertwined the characters throughout the books. This is probably my favourite of the three so far. This heartfelt and fun love story will have you falling in love with the characters, Rowan and Chris. I also enjoyed their back-and-forth banter. The supporting characters were great too. There is tension and angst, chemistry and steamy scenes, unbridled passion and humour, danger and suspense, pain and emotions. This is a great read, and I was hooked from the word go. This is a captivating tale, and I liked the fake relationship trope and all that comes with trying to keep things straight. What is supposed to be a simple wedding turns out it is anything but……. Are lives in danger? You will have to read to find out.

Dangerous Rhythm is the fourth explosive book in the romantic suspense The Echo Series. It is action packed and so engrossing that the story was over before I wanted it to be. The story is refreshing as the protector roles were reversed. The book is well-written with characters that are well developed, with faults, strengths and weaknesses that make them believable. CR also intertwines the characters throughout the books, so we get to check in with them. Her job is to protect the one man that gets under her skin. But can she do her job, keep him safe and not give in to his charms. He life looks picture perfect, but he unwittingly finds himself thrust into a dangerous world where murder is the norm of a day. This is a captivating tale has suspense, tension and angst, chemistry and steamy scenes, unbridled passion, danger, pain and emotions. If you are a fan of romantic suspense, you will enjoy this book. I look forward to reading more of CR’s work.

The Complete Echo Series (Echo #1-4)The Complete Echo Series by C.R. Alam
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

What a fantastic book by a truly wonderfully talented author. I really enjoyed following Rae and Dean as these two remarkably strong willed and determined characters fell for each other while fighting against past hurts that they believed not only formed them but also protected them. This book is a really great read with wonderful characters, both main and side characters are well developed, vivid writing that enables you to completely envision the world they live in and a creative storyline to keep you reading page after page! It’s a fantastic start to what I am sure will be a fabulous series! Bring on the next book I say!!

The story of Callie and Brandon had me hooked right from the start and I simply couldn’t put it down until the end. This truly talented author created amazing characters full of heart and weaved a captivating, relatable storyline that the reader can fully visualise while reading. Important issues were addressed with such great care. I totally fell for Brandon in the first book of this series and this book just cemented that even further.

This very talented author creates such amazing characters and storylines filled with so much heart! I was instantly in love and was completely invested in the story of Rowan and Chris right from the start. Having met Chris a little in the previous books in this wonderful series I knew his story was going to be a great read and it definitely was that and so much more! Now if you haven’t read the previous books you will still follow the storyline and enjoy it wholeheartedly but I HIGHLY recommend reading the entire series simply because the people and places created in these pages will burrow into your heart to stay and you don’t want to miss out on that.

Book 4 brings us the story of Lina and Curtis and I just know you will be hooked from start to finish just like I was. We also get to touch base with characters from previous books which I really think adds depth to a series. There is always something happening with steamy moments thrown in so if Romantic suspense is your favourite read then this book is for you.

I truly Love the Echo Series and found myself getting more and more hooked with every book I read. This talented author always brings to life her characters in such compelling and relatable ways that you just won’t be able to put the books down!

The Complete Echo Series (Echo #1-4)The Complete Echo Series by C.R. Alam
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Echoing Hearts 4 Stars
Rae Allen doesn’t believe in love or happily ever after. She’s seen enough in her family to jade her for life. Thankfully, she has some pretty awesome friends, especially her best friend Brandon, who are there for her when things get rough. Her friendship with Brandon is more of a kindred kind…they are thicker than thieves, almost as if they were brother and sister. Brandon would do anything for Rae, especially after she helped him and his band land an amazing producer!

Dean Rowland is living a life of luxury. He’s surrounded by wealth, fame, and women. He’s living the life as one might say, proud of all his accomplishments. Except for the one thing he couldn’t conquer…getting married. After being jilted at the alter, Dean is happy to swear off women forever.

Rae gets a call for a favor. Her friend needs her to go and check out this house in Georgia for the next issue of the magazine that she publishes. This house is a bit mysterious and Rae doesn’t get a lot of background on it. When she arrives at the house, she can’t seem to get anyone to come to the door, even though they should be expecting her. The next scene will be on that will change her life forever and have her heart sending echoes out across Lake Lanier.

This was a very enjoyable read for a lazy Saturday afternoon! I read this book in one sitting. It’s a typical romance read and one where both main characters should be hog tied for their antics towards each other. This does have a happy ending and I even found myself tearing up in the end!

His Forever Muse-4 stars
I’ve been anxiously waiting to get my hands on this book after reading the first book in this series! This book, while the second in a series, can be easily read as a stand alone.

Brandon Rossi is the front man for a rock band, Canis Major and his best friends are his band mates. He’s restless as the band has just come off a huge international tour and his artwork is slowing down a bit. He’s ready to get out and find what it is that he’s missing. Rae, one of his dearest friends, encourages him to travel and continue doing some artwork while he’s seeing sights. Brandon decides to go to Morocco to visit his friend Chris, and while there, he meets up with an art gallerist.

Calliope Chen-Bisset is that art gallerist and once she lays eyes on Brandon, a lot of great childhood memories come flooding back to both her and Brandon. Callie is the sister of one of Brandon’s bandmates and while they never hooked up while growing up, there has always been some sort of attraction there. Brandon helped Callie get through some difficult points in her life but not the most difficult ones.

Sparks start to fly between Callie and Brandon as soon as they lay eyes on each other but it’s been 15 years since they last saw each other. Callie’s family hasn’t mentioned her in years and, truth be told, there has been a bit of a rift between them too. Callie has experienced things that no woman…no person ever should experience but now that Philippe is a part of her life, she will always be looking over her shoulder. He’s the crazy ex-lover who just won’t let go.

Can Brandon keep his reputation in tact while learning to love Callie and her scars?

I loved this book and already can’t wait for the next one! There are some difficult topics covered and the author does issue a warning at the beginning of this book. I was not personally triggered by any of the scenes as they were handled quite delicately with enough information to let the reader know what happened without being overly graphic. This is a second chance romance of sort, but more importantly, a phoenix rising from the ashes story.

Unexpected Entanglement- 4 stars
Rowan Kelly has inherited an inn and she’s super excited to host her cousin’s wedding there. Everything has to be perfect and beautiful for the big day. Rowan can handle just about anything that is put in her way but having an extra hand or two never hurts!

Insert Chris Sullens. Chris is a well-known hotelier who is more than happy to dig in and help Rowan make this wedding the best ever. What he didn’t expect is the role that he’d be asked to play in order this wedding to go off WITH a hitch!

This is probably my favorite book of this series so far! There is an overlap of some characters from previous books (it was good to catch up on them!) but this book can be read as a standalone easily. I look forward to seeing where this series continues to go!

Dangerous Rhythm-4 stars
I am a total fan of this series!! I love the writing style, the humor (and this one…well, just read it!), the suspense, the drama….it’s all in here! I think this is my favorite book of the series so far but they are all really good! The tension that Lina displays, although she’s trying to be professional, just lets you know that she’s a ticking time bomb of emotions. Curtis is a rockstar that just can’t hide his vibe. The Stilletto’s? They’re as ruthless as they sound.

Another enjoyable book in this great series!

The Complete Echo Series (Echo #1-4)The Complete Echo Series by C.R. Alam
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Echoing Hearts: This is the first book in this series that I enjoyed reading. It is a story that is full of romance and attraction that brings heat to another level. I enjoyed how the author used details to bring the characters to life on every page. They are connectable and have great growth throughout which made the story easy to read. This is a fast paced story that you don’t want to miss for sure. A fast paced, engaging, hard to put down story that kept me turning pages to the end. I highly recommend this book.

His Forever Muse: I enjoyed reading this friends to lovers romance story. This is one of my favorites by this author. I found this book to be well developed where the author used details to make the story realistic. A story where it is full of not only romance but some suspense as well. Brandon and Calliope have known each other for most of their lives. He is her brother’s best friend and should be off limits. What happens when she runs into him in the middle of the desert? He is a steamy adult now but does that mean he is still hands off? You don’t want to miss what happens with these two. They have great growth and chemistry throughout. There is even a little suspense that you won’t see coming. This is a fast paced, hard to put down story. It is entertaining and easy to read. An engaging story that I highly recommend.

Unexpected Entanglement: This is the third book in this series which I enjoyed reading just as much as the previous two books. I would highly suggest reading the previous two books to help your enhancement of this author. This is a series I have enjoyed reading from the first book I picked up. This book is just as engaging and hard to put down. I enjoyed how the author used details to make her story come to life on each page. The characters are relatable, strong and supportive of each other. They pull you into their world from the start and have me coming back for more. I enjoyed watching their growth and their chemistry just as great to see. I found this book to be fast paced and engaging. A story where a simple favor turns into so much more for these two characters. You don’t want to miss what happens next. I really enjoyed reading this book and I highly recommend it.

Dangerous Rhythms: This is the fourth book in this series. This is a series that keeps getting better and better with each book. I highly suggest reading the previous books as well to help your enhancement of this author’s writing skills. They can be read as a standalone but they are really enjoyable stories you don’t want to miss. This is a well written story where the author used details to make the story come to life on each page. The characters are connectable, engaging and they certainly bring romance. A story about getting caught between duty and love. Which one will win? Could it be that both situations are a win? I enjoyed how the characters pulled me into their world from the start. They have great attraction and growth throughout the story. A fast paced story that is not only hard to put down but also engaging to the end. I really enjoyed this story and I highly recommend it.

The Complete Echo Series: A Heartfelt Romance Collection (The Echo Series) by C.R. Alam – Review by Allyson Ware

The Complete Echo Series (Echo #1-4)The Complete Echo Series by C.R. Alam
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Echoing Hearts:

This novel has an interesting plot. I’ve never known people to invite others into their home to review it unless they are looking to sell. Kat does not want to sell, so it is peculiar to me that she wants someone to write about it. Other than that, Rae is a force to be reckoned with both professionally and personally.

Rae and Dean have this connection that is undeniable from the moment they meet. You can feel every bit of emotion from the authors writing. If you are looking for a great romance novel, this is it. I cannot wait to read the sequel!

His Forever Muse:

Where do I start? This novel is just as good as the first! The author does such an amazing job of bringing these characters to life. Brandon and Callie are best friends that lost connection and are brought together by fate. The lack of judgement that Brandon has toward Callie is outstanding and I believe he should be the standard for all men to look up to. He is not perfect by any means, but I absolutely love his character.

I cannot wait for the next book in the series. The writing is phenomenal and so easy to sink your teeth into. If the characters and plot are anything like the first two novels, then it will take me no time to read the third. Highly recommend! Super cozy novel with some action and suspense tied in.

Unexpected Entanglement:

This author knows how to create amazing, relatable characters. Even though Chris Sullens is a famous entrepreneur, he can talk to and relate to a small hometown community. From the main characters to the smallest of characters, the author puts an immense amount of personality into each of them as if you have known them for multiple series. In this case we have known Chris, but not to the extent in which we now know him in this novel.

This book is a tale of two love birds that struggle to express their opinions to each other but wear their hearts on their sleeves. The story of Rowan and Chris pulls at my heart strings and I was rooting for them every step of the way. Frustration, anger, lust, and happiness are all emotions that play major roles in this novel and I highly recommend you pick it up! There is a small amount of love scenes in this book which I appreciate because I do not enjoy complete erotica novels. It is easy enough to skip over those scenes as well. I sincerely cannot get enough of this author!

Dangerous Rhythm:

This author hits a sweet spot for me every time I read one of their novels. Each one of the Echo Series books can be read as a stand alone because there is not much information that you need to catch on to the current book. That being said, I absolutely think it is worth it to go back and read the others if this is the first one you plan on reading!

I loved Curtis and Lina. They fit together like PB&J even though Lina tried her hardest to stay away from Curtis. I also love the tidbits of information about the Chinese culture. If you like a good romance intertwined with some suspense, this is the book for you. I cannot recommend this author enough.

Make Me Burn (North Fork Series) by Alicia Street – Review by Maisie Dickinson

Make Me Burn (North Fork Series Book 9)Make Me Burn by Alicia Street
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Alicia Street’s Make Me Burn follows Jinx, who has been in love with her brother’s best friend, Logan, for as long as she can remember. The problem is, her brother Victor now hates Logan for betraying him years ago. When Jinx and Logan see each other again for the first time in years, they can no longer hide their feelings for each other, but the tension between Logan and Victor keeps coming between them. This was an enjoyable story with a lot of angst and plenty of romance. The only thing I found a problematic was the age gap, which would be fine but it was explained that he was attracted to her when he was in college and she was underage. My favourite character is Jinx because she’s a strong, independent woman, and I love it when romance books portray women as enjoyers of sex and not just innocent. I recommend this book if you can see past the age gap. Jinx and Logan clearly have a lot in common and strong feelings for each other so they are a couple to root for. ‘Every glimpse of Logan a treasured image to store away in her secret vault.’

Fearless Love (The Bennetts of Langston Falls, #5)Fearless Love by K.G. Fletcher
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Fearless Love is book 5 in the Bennetts of Langston Falls. It follows characters James and Sara. James who is closed off from love after a devastating breakup and single mother Sara a travel nurse who never stays anywhere for longer than a year.

This is a contemporary romance. Not my current genre of interest but a great story regardless. I loved the story and detail given to the location and characters. K. G. Fletcher did well with this book. I will definitely be looking into other books Fletcher has written.

I absolutely Love this series and I’m kind of sad we are at the end. This AMAZING author always creates such captivating storylines and wonderful characters that weave their way into your heart and this book is yet another fine example of that. I truly loved every single word of James and Sara’s story filled with so much emotion and amazing chemistry. I so wish I could go to Langston Falls. LOL
As I touched on before this is the last book of the series and even though it can be read as a standalone you truly do need to do yourself a huge favour and read the whole series. You really don’t want to miss a single one!

The Changed Man (The Olympic Peninsula Book #4) by Cat Treadgold – Review by Angela Hayes

The Changed Man (The Olympic Peninsula series Book 4)The Changed Man by Cat Treadgold
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

4 Stars

The Changed Man is the fourth book in The Olympic Peninsula series by Cat Treadgold. It is a superb addition to the series, which just seems to get better and better with each new instalment.
It is a contemporary romance with a bit of a ‘family saga’ feel, plenty of emotion, heart & soul, wonderful characters, family dynamics, secrets, drama, angst, layers/facets, interconnected details, complications, slow-burn, intrigue, mystery, and more.
This is Jake O’Connell’s story, he’s the O’Connell’s brother (Joe Bob, David, and Teresa have had their own stories in the previous three books). His story definitely grabbed my heartstrings, and plucked them, hard- making for a sweet, heartwarming, emotional, and memorable read
As with the previous instalments, Ms. Treadgold has woven a great story with complex characters, dramatic developments, tension, and emotional touches- which made it really easy to connect with the characters, and allowed me to completely invest in their story- while adding her own special touches that imbue an extra element of charm to the overall story/series.
Oh, and I love this cover, it’s my favourite of the series, so far….
Looking forward to Book #5, The Fallen Man- which is Edward’s story.
Happy Reading…

Thank you, Cat Treadgold!

The Changed Man Audio Book (The Olympic Peninsula Series, Book 4) by Cat Treadgold – Review by Laura Jones

The Changed Man is book 4 of the Olympic Peninsula series written (and narrated) by Cat Treadgold. In this book, we meet Jake who has taken on a new career that his family was unaware of after he resigned as CEO of the family business. Jake now writes thrillers! He shows up in Port Townsend for David and Maddie’s wedding, and to his family’s surprised, Jake is quite different than the man he used to be. He decides to stay in Port Townsend for a while and ends up renting an old Victorian. He is visited by his recently deceased friend, Rory, who haunts him (talks to him in his mind). Jake ends up meeting Chiara, the aunt and caregiver of David’s son Lorenzo. He is immediately taken by her, but unfortunately, she’s already married. Fortunately for Jake, she is in a loveless marriage and the two end up falling in love. This was only my second book I’ve read in this series, but after reading the previous one, it was easier for me to follow along with all the couples that the book covers. It was a very entertaining read, and I’d like to go back and read the previous two that I’ve not yet read to get a full picture of the family and their stories. I highly recommend not only this book, but the series as a whole. I also really enjoyed the author’s note at the end where she opens up and gives some personal touches to the readers.

Fearless Love (The Bennetts of Langston Falls, Book 5) by KG Fletcher – Review by Barbara Bohls

Fearless Love (The Bennetts of Langston Falls, #5)Fearless Love by K.G. Fletcher
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is a quick, fast paced read. It is the ending of the series. I feel that if you haven’t read the others in the series you could still read this and then go back and read the rest. There might be spoilers in doing so but it doesn’t distract from the story line. The characters in this book are amazing. The leading female is a single mom who has an amazing career. Her son is a character that you will love. The leading male character is just a really good guy. Those don’t generally exist, like there is normally some underlying issues or trauma that the male has to work through. Not with this book. The leading female is the one with the “baggage” in this story. There were times when I was wondering when the other shoe was going to drop but that didn’t happen either. There is growth for each of the characters and that brings them closer together. There is some steam in this book but you are more focused one the storyline that the steam. I felt like it was a great ending to a series. I am sad to see it end because I’m selfish and didn’t want to stop reading. I was at the end of the book before I even realized it. I highly suggest reading this if you love some small town, single mom, romance. It was just very heartfelt and uplifting to read.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is a very quaint romance novel, it’s exactly what you would expect. It’s a good story and I like how the author integrates the characters from the previous books in the series. This book is very well written and flows together really well. You can definitely tell that there is character growth throughout the novel.

The Changed Man Book 4 in The Olympic Peninsula series.
Well, I was so excited to see that there was a book four and hope for more. I have loved each and every book in this series and yes, I do think you could read this as a standalone, but why? You will love them all. I have enjoyed the details that the author has put into this book as for the fact that I LIVE in Port Townsend and have for my whole life, so these seem to have a special connection for me. Very well written contemporary romance and all the characters are in some way intertwined, another reason you should read them all. The characters are interesting and fun to get to know them all. The family dynamics can be very relatable. Lots of emotion, drama, love, family, angst, and friends all fast paced enough to keep you engaged and wanting more.
I can’t recommend this book and the others in this series enough.

The Changed Man Audio Book (The Olympic Peninsula Series, Book 4) by Cat Treadgold – Review by Bobbi Wagner

This is not my first audiobook by this author but it is one of my favorites.  I found this audio easy to listen to.  An audiobook that is engaging with characters that come to life by the narrator’s different tones of voice.  They had me wanting to listen to more.  This is a story about what happens when Jake goes to attend his brother’s wedding and things get turned upside down.  I enjoyed the characters and what they brought to the story.  I really enjoyed listening to this audiobook.  I highly recommend this audio.

I enjoyed how the author used details to make the story come to life. The characters are connectable and kept me turning pages fast. They have great growth throughout which made the story easy to read. This is a fast paced, engaging story that is easy to read. You don’t want to miss what happens to Jake. Make Me Burn (North Fork Series) by Alicia Street – Review by Kerry Baker

Make Me Burn (North Fork Series Book 9)Make Me Burn by Alicia Street
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This book is a great second chance romance. The characters have a fantastic chemistry right from the start and I loved watching their relationship evolve. The ex-best friend / little sister element to the book I think added more depth to the story. It gave them a great history to draw from and I think deepened their connection.
The story was fast paced and quick to read as it is a novella length story. However, I would have flown through it just as quick even if it were longer as it was such a good story to read. It was well written and an overall great story. I would definitely recommend reading this book.

The Changed Man is another engrossing read in The Olympic Peninsula series. I have really enjoyed this series getting to know the O’Connell’s. Make sure to read them in order or you really are missing out.

This is an emotional journey and a heartfelt tale. Cat has given us a well-written tale that is complex and layered just like these wonderful characters and there is a cast of them. You will find yourself falling in love with our MC’s as they navigate their relationship.

It is another well-woven contemporary romance with interesting characters, family dynamics, emotion, drama, angst, complications, interconnected characters, intrigue, and more. This may just be my favourite of the series.

Jake has surprised everyone by turning his back on an empire made with blood, sweat and tears. He has forsaken that life and his lifestyle for something that no one saw coming, something he finally decides to do for himself. A much-needed journey. What happened to make him make such a drastic change? Grab a copy to find out.

Jake O’Connell causes quite a stir by showing up in Port Townsend for his brother David’s wedding. The twin of country heartthrob Joe Bob Blade has upended his enviable life by resigning as CEO of the family business. In North Bend, he dressed to the nines, dazzled associates, and resided in an architect’s showplace. But he bore a grudge against the brothers who left him to hold down the fort while they gallivanted off to follow their bliss.
Now Jake is content to rattle around in a rented Victorian mansion. He appears easygoing, though distracted. His recently dead friend haunts his thoughts, making him fear for his sanity.
Jake has a new career, one frowned upon in his social circle. He writes thrillers. The muse he finds in Port Townsend is just as inappropriate: the married, beguiling Chiara.

Fearless Love (The Bennetts of Langston Falls, Book 5) by KG Fletcher – Review by Michelle Troyer

Fearless Love (The Bennetts of Langston Falls, #5)Fearless Love by K.G. Fletcher
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I hate that I started with the last book in the series, so will have to go back to book 1. It was such an easy read that made me not want to put the book down. It keeps you wanting to keep reading too find out what happens next. A great love story that has trials for both James and Sara, but had a happy ending. Langston Falls sounds like a place to visit with the quietness and friendly people. Loved this book and highly recommend the series as I know they will all be a good as the last book.

Fearless Love (The Bennetts of Langston Falls, #5)Fearless Love by K.G. Fletcher
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is the fifth and final book in the Bennett’s of Langston Falls Series. I am feeling a little sad about this being the last installment in the series as I have enjoyed meeting every member of the Bennett family and following their journeys to find love. The author is amazing and writes such beautiful emotional stories that you cant help but feel like you know the characters personally.

This is James and Sara’s story.
After having his heartbroken James is done with love and romance. He is happy to focus on his family and his dogs.
That is until Sara and her son Noah comes into his life.
Sara is the carer that is helping James father at home. At first sparks fly between the pair but the more time they spend together and in each others company the more their chemistry builds and becomes something neither can deny. But when things get tough and they are tested will the chemistry be enough to hold them together?
Both Sara and James have trouble trusting which makes their journey even harder as they find it hard to trust one another but if they take that leap of faith will they succeed or will they end up heartbroken again.

Again I can’t put into words how much I loved this series and this book is just the icing on a very beautifully decorated cake.

Hidden Mischief (Shattered Embrace #1)Hidden Mischief by Alyndra Quinn
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Wow. I am thoroughly impressed by this book. The complexity of Zachary and Ashton’s relationship is intriguing and mature. This novel contains an immense amount of information about the BDSM lifestyle. Also, the amount of respect shown for those who enjoy certain things but not others, the consent, and the way the information is presented is impressive.

Honestly, I have nothing bad to say about this book except that it ended too soon!

One visit to Langston Falls, no matter the purpose, is all it usually takes to show the magic!
James is such a likeable character and Sara is so sweet and easy to love as well. Both are hardworking and incredibly independent. And Sara’s son is the sweetest little boy. Watching James and Sara grow to let go of past issues and insecurities to try to make a go of a relationship was endearing.
I have been waiting for James’s story and this did not disappoint. Fearless Love is the perfect ending to the Bennett’s series with an extra happily ever after!

Fearless Love (The Bennetts of Langston Falls, #5)Fearless Love by K.G. Fletcher
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I have absolutely enjoyed reading about the Bennetts and its definitely bitter sweet that this is the last one in the series. The author has managed to create a wonderful series of interwoven stories that can be read as standalones or, as I prefer, in order as a series. I loved getting to really know James better and seeing how much more there was to him. It was tough seeing how much Sam leaving hurt him, but getting to see how happy he and Sara were, made it all worth it. I loved seeing how well James and Noah got along and that he got to meet Noah before he even met Sara. Getting to see the rest of the family rally together to help Noah have a great party, really sets the tone for Sara to see how wonderful James and his family are. As always the story contains plenty of laughs, drama, secrets, and small town life. I absolutely recommend this story and series to anyone wanting to read a delightful feel good story and series.

This was a quick read for me. The authors plot lines are familiar and this story flowed nicely as her others. The characters were well crafted and there were elements I could connect with. It fit the trope well and I’m a sucker for small town romance. It can be read as a standalone.
