Zachary, a rich entrepreneur who has a very diverse portfolio, Ashton who is strong in business but quiet in her love life create an unconventional romance. The story was really great and the character development was strong. The writing in this book truly had you feel their instant attraction but especially the care that Zachary has for Ashton as she delves into the world of BDSM. The ending definitely left you wanting for the next book as Ashton takes on her new role. Great read that was hard to put down.

The story was great. It moved quickly and read fast. Dive in with this series!

I haven’t had the pleasure of reading each book of the series, but have enjoyed the ones I have read and I swear the remaining books are on my TBR list. Though it’s not necessary to read them to get into each book since they are standalones but all take place in North Fork.
Jinx and Logan see each other after a falling out several years ago between Logan and Victor who also happens to be Jinx’s older brother. Their chance encounter at a mutual friends wedding changes everything for them.
I understand how Jinx felt when with her family, she’s there but doesn’t really fit in with them and nobody seems to get that, except Logan.
This book and series are worth the time to read. The main characters are great but the background/supporting characters add so much more. If I had to complain about anything it would be there weren’t enough scenes with Teddy, I’m a sucker for all animals so I always want more of them.

Jake is finally getting to tell his own story in this saga of the O’Connell family of Port Townsend. Jake has made some changes, some of which his family is having a hard time grasping. First of all, he shows up for his brother’s wedding after being away for so long. Then, he spies Chiara from a distance. He’s immediately smitten but learns that she’s married. Then the family learns about the things that he’s been doing and they are even more mystified at this changed man standing in front of them.
This was an enjoyable read and I do recommend reading this series in order. Each book features a different family member. The family is quite large and there are times it’s hard for me to keep who’s who in order in terms of relationships. Each story builds on the last as the family expands. It’s nice seeing some stories from the very beginning til now.

Make Me Burn is the 9th book in the North Fork series, but the only one I have read. I didn’t even know it was part of a series, but now that I know, that kinda make sense… It had a good story line, with some hot and heavy scenes. Jinx had the biggest crush growing up, on her brother’s best friend Logan. He spent so much time at the house, he felt like part of the family, and they developed a special bond. The boys had a falling out and Logan disappeared from her life. But years later they ran into each other at a wedding. It was like no time passed at all. Jinx was hit with all those memories and feelings. The biggest problem, Jinx’s family hates Logan. So they need to try to navigate their relationship carefully, and figure out a way for Logan to be accepted into the family again, hopefully in a new way this time. I didn’t love the intensity of the steamy scenes (not my thing…), but enjoyed this book and would read more of the series.

I have never read a book by this author but after reading this book I will look for more books by her. Since I am a Senior I prefer to read books that have some sex but not very explicit sex. However, I did enjoy this book.
I especially liked the characters and the story line. I hope to find a Liam Cross one day but maybe an older version because I think he may be too much for this old gal to handle.
But seriously, I did enjoy reading this book and will look for other books from her.

What an incredible read! Even though this is part of the North Fork series, I read it as a standalone and didn’t feel lost. I’ll definitely be picking up the rest of the series though because I am utterly hooked now. I devoured this book so quickly just so I could find out what happens between Logan and Jinx! It feels like the one that got away but then came back which is a lovely feeling right? But is it too good to be true, or will they really get a second chance to give things a true shot? The flow of this story is flawless. I never felt jolted out by a misplaced word or missing details. I highly recommend picking this book up if you are looking for a great romance read for your afternoon. I’m on my way to pick up all of the previous books in the series now!

Another installment in a wonderful series about an interesting family. The characters are wonderful, and they are consistent throughout the series. Much like real life, this one is messy. Before I Let You Go left me wanting more. Elsbeth is given a life-changing opportunity with the inheritance of an island off the coast of Guernsey. She starts her new solidarity life with bravo, but she soon is met with unexpected challenges. I liked the story but was a bit disappointed in the lack of details with the angel Bishop. Some of the plot points didn’t make sense and instead made me a bit frustrated and wondering if I should finish the book. It wrapped up everything nicely at the end but getting to the end was the best part.

An enjoyable and engaging contemporary romance which had me hooked throughout. Although part of a series it can be read as a standalone story. Billionaire Logan Bennett always thought his best friends little sister, Jink was a firecracker but she was off-limits however, she’s now all-grown-up! Jink always found Logan attractive but now she’s older she’s hoping he won’t still see her as his best friends little sister. Unfortunately Logan and best friend Victor are no longer friends and have an ongoing feud which Logan knows will only get worse if he starts dating Jink. Jink doesn’t want to settle for a boring romance and wants a man who knock’s her off her feet, and who she can share a passionate love with but, the only man to make her feel that way is Logan. This is a steamy romance between two people with chemistry that sizzles off the page. Logan and Jink are both likeable and relatable characters and the storyline is full of angst.

I did not read the other 2 books before this one and can be read as a stand-alone.
This is a multi-pov- Not all chapters say whose POV it is but it will be from the POV of the most recent. (Ie: Ch. 1 says June but 2 and 3 have no name but you know it is still June.)
This is an easy read and can suck you in from the first page to the last. It is a slow burn but the spice be spicing when it does happen.
I do not feel like this can be considered dark romance- however, there are parts of it that others may see as “dark” and be triggered (Spiking drinks, kidnapping). This would be a good introduction though, for those who do feel this is a dark romance.
MMC and FMC used to work together, when things went south they took their separate ways but when the FMC finds herself in a bind with her company she turns to the MMC for financial assistance. While he gives her an offer she doesn’t want to accept she has no choice. Due to this, they have to be close again and that’s when all the fun starts. Secrets are let out, jealousy, possessiveness, and one hell of a plot. This does end in a HEA.

Logan has returned home after years of being away for his friends wedding but in the back of his mind there is the distraction of his best friends sister who over the years wondered what had happened to her. With his relationship with his best friend in tatters, she has always been the one to fight his corner but will that still be the case.
Jinx is living her best life, co-owning her own shop, creating her beautiful jewellery and just being unapologetic in life, so when a person from her past comes back can she put all the issues aside and go against her family to find the love that has always been there but can they overcome the obstacles.
This was a lovely story with the main characters both having there problems that they are overcoming and are drawn to each other in the end. I love the way Jinx was completely driven to prove Logan innocent within the family and that the blossoming relationship was still there all those years apart.
Although this is the ninth book in this series they can all be read as stand alone stories are brilliantly as a collective or individual stories. I can wait to read the next instalment and more books by this author in the future.

This was a good read! It was a fast paced, page turner that i enjoyed over the weekend. It had mystery, suspense and also paranormal/fantasy elements. Elsbeth is the MC, and she inherits a French island home that she quickly learns isn’t what she was expecting. Dark mysteries inhabit her new home and she now has to navigate that mess lol. She was a good mc and i liked the other characters as well! I like this book enough to want to read more by this author in the future. Happy Reading!

This is the third and final book in The Hustlers Trilogy and I feel like it was a good close out for this series.
I’m pretty big on forced proximity romances, something about the angst that build when forced into close quarters with someone you hate but at the same time want to rip their cloths off, gets me hooked everytime. Which brings us to the premise of this story, our FMC June ends up in a bad situation due to some terrible things going on with her business trouble, and now her only way to fix things and not lose her company lies in the hand of an old flame that burned to hot and scorched her 10 years ago. Meet Dallas, the old flame. At first I couldn’t really stand this guy, he very much started off as a whinny rich guy, complaining a bit and definitely hard headed, but as this book progressed and the relationship between June and him grew, I find myself relating to his pain in a sense and enjoying him immensely. I love June, I do, part of the story I found myself begging her to push everything aside, let the past go and take what/who you love, the other half I was screaming red flagggg leave so my emotions with this particular book were very high.
Im pretty interested in reading more from this author, I feel these books were well written, fun to read and easy to start immersed in. I would definitely suggest if possible to read the first two story’s in this trilogy, but I do believe that this book can be read on its own if you can’t get your hands on or don’t want to read the first two. That being said, this series is really good and not reading the first two books would be missing out.

This is he 9th book in the series but have no fear, if you just grabbed this one; you can read it without reading the others first. I alway recommend reading the other books in the series because you can get more intricate details of the characters and the story line. This book hooked me in from the beginning and it kept me entranced through the end. I love a missed connection type of love story. The main characters met before and due to circumstances they couldn’t explore that spark that they both felt. Jump forward some time and they have another meet cute. Guys, this story just melts you into the chair and allows you to just sink your teeth into you lip and read. I could not be disturbed by anything while reading this. Food – I just walked while reading to get something to feed my face. lol. I could not put this book down as the growth with the characters developed so did my grip on the book. It was a quick read for me because of that reason. I feel like this book was very well written and written in such a way that you don’t even realize that you got to the end of the book by the time you finish it. When I say that the twists and turns Rossler threw at me in this book had me absolutely blindsided and flabbergasted…I mean it! At one point, my husband looked over and asked why my face looked like that and all I could say was I didn’t see that plot twist coming so…just beware that you will make faces, audibly gasp, and definitely loose sleep reading this book! And if that doesn’t make you want to get it right now then I don’t know what will. Maybe the excruciatingly slow burn between Dallas and June (who’ve been at each other’s throats for years) will intrigue you. Or maybe the inadvertent foray into the seedy underbelly of the South American mafia. Or maybe forced proximity…enemies-to-lovers…a curvy, voluptuous (done perfectly THANK YOU so much Ms. Rossler) take-no-shit FMC who absolutely dominates and can hold her own vs a hot-as-hell damaged MMC who has been pining after the FMC but could never admit it. I mean…what more could you want? And the spice…I mean once we finally get there (and trust me…the burn on the way is so, so good) is just out-of-this-world fantastic. I could not put this book down. It is the third installment in the Hustlers series but you can definitely read it as a standalone…I did. But am I going to go back and read the first two books…abso-freakin-lutely! Before you say I do by Mariana Hanna is a fast burn. There is spice.
Emma- Bartender. Doesn’t want a relationship, and only has one nightstand due to her ex.
Liam- Lawyer “hottie” who doesn’t want anything serious but also wants only Emma.
The MCs met at a bar and after weeks of trying to get with her, the MMC finally got her information and had a chance. After having “fun” a few times they decided to become FWB- MMC idea- but both right away feel more of a connection than just FWB and don’t speak on it. There are twists in the plot and has a HEA ending even though it seems it might not. I personally didn’t care for the beginning of the book, but it did get better so if you are struggling just give it some time before deciding if you want to continue or not.

Wow talk about hooked! I just couldn’t put this one down. Dallas and June are fiery characters that draw you straight into the story right from the very start. I had to keep turning page after page because I simply had to know what the hell was going to happen next! Filled with steamy moments, drama and storylines twists you won’t expect this is one you don’t want to miss! This is the third book in the series but you could absolutely read it as a standalone if you really wanted too. I have to say though that I did love the other books of the series to so give them a go too!

The Closer is Book 3 in The Hustlers Series and wow…..I loved this enemies to lovers story, with dark and twisty secrets, romance, drama and chemistry off the charts between June and Dallas. While this book could be read as a standalone I highly recommend reading this series in order as characters are intertwined into this final book in the series. I am sad this series is over as I love the characters so much but I am also looking forward to more in the future from this talented author.
June is in need of help when a scandal hits one of her start up companies and the investor catch wind and starts pulling away. The one thing June did NOT want to rely upon for help was from Dallas Evener…the same man she never wanted to deal with ever again as their past history has been nothing nice. Dallas is arrogant and gets what he wants….all business…and also wants June to give a big portion on her company for his help. When June is at her wits end and makes a deal with Dallas for the financial help that she needs….things can get dirty. Dallas is plagued by the past and hidden secrets…..with it all said and done…will Dallas help June out of financial worry while the chemistry between them continues to spark with un-deniability?
Definitely read and find out.. This story took me one a roller coaster of emotions….I loved every page!
This is the first book I have read by this author, and she did not disappoint. It’s a contemporary romance story. Emma is not looking for romance but with Liam it seems to find her, for both of them, unexpectedly. The story goes great and is a great read. It keeps your attention and you won’t want to put it down. I will definitely be reading more from this author!

This was a good 4 star read. I really liked these characters and their story right from the start. Emma has been hurt in the past and has a rule of one night stands only. However when she meets Liam things change. Liam suggests something to her that will change things for both of them. But, will they be able to stick to the rules or will their hearts get in the way. The author did a great job with her writing and I didn’t want to put it down. I had to see what was coming next. There are some twists and turns that added a great element to the story. I look forward to reading more from this author, 1-click and get started today.

This book was a great romance book with a few adult scenes but the story line is worth the read. Emma and Liam’s budding relationship continues to draw you in. It’s a perfect picture of people that have been jaded by previous relationships and don’t want to risk the hurt again. It keeps you guessing until the very end.

Rae was asked to take on an article for another writer who fell ill. Dean Rowland is a savvy media tech who is living his life with no strings attached after his fiancée ditched him at the altar. Neither one needed love in their life. When Rae and Dean’s lives crossed in Georgia, their first impression of each other made the weekend pretty awkward at first. However, Rae was a professional and would put writing the article about Dean’s house first. Once the article came out several months later, Dean and Rae didn’t expect their lives to cross again. Two hearts who are running from love, could they ever make a relationship work? This was a fantastic book. I loved the story between Dean and Rae! I can’t wait to read more books by this author.

After going their separate ways, fifteen years have passed. Brandon is part of a successful band and artist while Callie works in Paris in the art world. Brandon and Callie cross paths in Morocco while at a friend’s resort. Brandon refuses to let Callie slip out of his life again, so when Callie mentions living in Paris Brandon knows he has to go visit her. I love this new series! I can’t wait to see where this series goes!

Now on the run to keep not only himself safe but now his family too but unfortunately the Stelleto’s goons are hot on their trail. I love this whole series. The author hooks you from the start and every page does not disappoint. I can’t wait to see what else this author comes out with.

This is my first one of the North Fork Series that I’ve read. For the most part, I was able just to pick it up and read along with the storyline so no need to read previous ones but always welcome to grasp added details. The story focuses on Logan who bumps into Jinx, who is Logan’s best friend’s little friend. During his college years, Logan spent lots of time over at his best friend’s family home where Jinx and Logan got to know each other. Jinx started falling for him but after his abrupt departure, Jinx felt hurt. Now at a chance meeting at a wedding, they are both taken aback by each other and things start to rekindle for them. Especially after a disagreement between Vic, Jinx’s older brother and Logan, they develop this steamy connection. Their growth of attraction has its challenges but they find ways to work it out. Their character development and connection is great! Absolutely recommend this read for those romantic lovers out there!
