As we continue to follow the stories of each member of this talented family we meet Jake O’Connell. Jake, who has quite the successful career in business has decided to leave that life behind and showed back up to Port Townsend. There he instantly rocks the boat, especially when he meets Chiara. Chiara is married to a man who clearly doesn’t love her and she is quickly swept away by Jake. This is a sweet romance with many ups and downs and ultimately ending in a surprise ending. This book continues to bring new and surprising things to the surface with members of the family having special talents. It could get a bit confusing at times as there are so many characters and it doesn’t focus solely on Jake and Chiara but overall, a good listen.

What a delightfully fun read. Nothing like a fun romp with a great story to get your weekend started. It’s a quick read. The characters are fun and entertaining. I love how this author writes. Her characters are always written to feel so very real. It’s was a story that I would recommend.

What a beautiful story. This story is so well-written that you can feel it in your soul. Your emotions go for a little bit of a roller coaster ride. I really can’t tell you much about the story without giving it away. Elspeth is a strong woman that has tended to feel beaten down by everyone. The opportunity arrives to make a big change in her life. Little does she know there will be some romance, mystery, paranormal suspense. It comes down to good vs evil and justice being served. Fate can intervene to make your life better. My favorite is to just say “no.” It’s okay to tell that to people, including your family. Don’t let them guilt you. I enjoyed the writing. Watching Elspeth mature and come into her own. Seeing her know who she is and what she wants was very nice. Several of the antagonists were getting on my nerves but they seemed to come around toward the end. It’s a wonderful book that will be on my favorites list for this year. I would definitely recommend it.

Fearless Love by K.G. Fletcher was a sweet, steamy read that had me flying through the pages!
This is the final book in The Bennetts of Langston Falls Series. I have not read the other books, but I felt like it could be read as a standalone. James is the Bennett brother who had his life planned out, but we all know how that sometimes turns out. After he experiences a bad break-up, he isn’t looking to jump back into a relationship anytime soon. However, he wasn’t expecting the beautiful traveling nurse who was caring for his father or her precocious son. He tries to set boundaries, but he can’t stop thinking about Sara. Sara certainly isn’t looking for a relationship. The only man she has focused on is her son, Noah, but there is something special about James. She is thinking about him as much as he is thinking about her. As soon as he discovers that she and Noah are staying in a local hotel, he offers a room in his home. Their flirty banter soon has the potential to become so much more.
These two are such great characters. James is everything a book boyfriend should be….sexy and so caring. Seeing him with Noah melted my heart. Sara is everything a heroine should be. She is beautiful and strong, and most importantly, a wonderful mother!!!! The chemistry is so strong between these two, and readers can see how much they belong together. There isn’t too much angst or drama. There is a mystery about the identity of Noah’s father, but it doesn’t affect the relationship between the two. Her impulse to run is the biggest hurdle for them to overcome.
The characters, even the secondary ones, were engaging and pulled me into the story, but the way the setting was written pulled me in as well. I could picture the farm and winery so clearly in my mind. I felt like I was a part of the story myself.
KG Fletcher is a new writer to me. I thoroughly enjoyed the book. She won me over from the very beginning when she introduced me to James’s beautiful Labradors. I’m a Labby mom myself to two yellow fur babies, so I was completely hooked. Those two sweethearts were characters themselves. The epilogue was the icing on the cake!!! I’m very happy that I discovered this fantastic writer. I will definitely be reading more from her!!!

Book 4 in the Olympic Peninsula Series and this author has done it again. I have thoroughly enjoyed this series and highly recommend them all. while they could be read as stand alone stories, I do suggest that they are read in order because the characters do overlap in these books and you will see how they grow and continue developing their relationships. It is really cool that even though this is Jake’s story, we still get to follow Joe and Ali and how their lives are developing together. Love, love, love this series!

Stars In the City (Stars in the City Series) by Krysten Lindsay Hager is a YA romance story- with all the teenage drama, friendship, angst, jealousy, romance, and emotion you could expect from a YA romance story. It also has some sweet moments that made even my old, jaded heart, flutter for a beat or two. As with the other books that I have read by Ms. Hager, this is a well-woven story, but definitely suited to a younger audience. If you love YA, romance, soap opera stars on the rise, emerging pop stars, basketball players, angsty teen drama, friendship, connection, first love, love-triangle-ish storylines, and sweet moments- then you will definitely want to add this to your TBR. Happy Reading…

Before You Say I Do by Marina Hanna is a contemporary romance with plenty of chemistry, steam, ‘ex’ drama, emotion, and just enough angst to keep things interesting. This was a fun read that had me invested right from the get-go. As expected from Ms. Hanna, it entertained me the whole way through. We follow Liam and Emma through their highs and lows, as their ‘one-night-stand’ turns into more- will they take a chance on love? Well worth the read to find out. Another great read from this talented author. Looking forward to whatever Ms. Hanna has in store for us next? Happy Reading…

This is a quick-paced read that is packed with mystery, intrigue, romance, angst, and so much more. If you are looking for a paranormal romantasy, then this is the book for you. I adore and admire Elsbeth’s character and the way Wallace keeps the plot moving is fantastic. I was up well into the night because I couldn’t put this one down. This is a great read…especially if you are in a funk right now and can’t decide what to read or just don’ know. Pick this up for a quick read that will jump start you!

This is an amazing series. As soon as you start reading you are not going to want to put any of them down. Each of these books contain their own stories that are full of romance, friendship, second chances, drama, angst, and great characters. This author does a wonderful job pulling me into each story and keeping me captivated throughout. I recommend reading these books in order because there are some returning characters from previous books. I’m not going to give away anything from these 4 books, but I will say that you don’t want to miss out on this box set. I love this author’s writing style, I get completely invested in the characters’ story and their outcome. This series is definitely one that you can binge read. I highly recommend this series.

Alam – Review by Candida Hopper
Everything in Elsbeth’s life is falling apart. Her long-term relationship is ending, she’s on the outs with her sister, Zara, her relationship with her mom is falling into further despair, and her dad’s on his last stretch of life. How much more can a girl take?
A letter comes in the mail and Elsbeth learns that she’s inherited property from her aunt in Guernsey. It’s across the ocean and a huge decision to make. There are so many loose ends at home that she’s not sure she can go, but ultimately decides to do it anyway. Upon arriving in Guernsey, she sees the house is not like she expected it to be.
This book will grab you from the first sentence. I read it one sitting and thoroughly enjoyed it. There are characters you will really love and ones that you will really hate. There is suspense and mystery, but most of all, redemption.

4-5 star I noticed Kellie was an author from Australia and wondered what a home-grown girl had to offer and let me tell you I was pleasantly surprised. I found myself eagerly turning the pages for more and putting it down was not on the cards because I had to know how it all ended. Before I Let You Go is a fast-paced romance tale that is mysterious, with a dash of darkness, a little suspense and intrigue. I love paranormal/supernatural/fantasy. The characters were really well written and there were a few twists and turns that surprised me but there is also some humour. Elsbeth is in need of a change and her newly inherited a remote French island home will give her that and much more. What she hadn’t counted on was the three men who have come into her life and the turmoil and secrets that she finds herself in. What dark mysteries do the island and her home hold? I look forward to reading more from Kellie.

Before You Say I Do by Marina Hanna is a captivating contemporary romance. I have read many of Marina’s books and have fallen in love with every one of them. Marina’s writing draws me into her stories and had me completely intrigued. The characters are wonderfully real, and you become very invested in their story. Marina also has a wicked sense of humour that shines through in her words. Although Before You Say I Do is a quick read it has everything to keep the pages turning. I was engrossed and engaged, and I loved every minute of it. The chemistry is smoking, sexy, steamy and sizzles right off the page. With lots of passion, desire, some sass, there are intense moments, some angst and drama making some fabulous reading. She only meant it to be one night, but she couldn’t get enough. Even though she knew she should stay away. Mor than one-night leads to heart ache. Do yourself a favour and start reading Marina’s books today.

My ex-boyfriend ensured that my trust in men was shredded when he committed his heinous transgression. Now one-night stands are my go-to approach in order to satisfy my amorous needs.
Until LIAM CROSS.
It goes without saying I’m instantly attracted to his good looks. His air of self-confidence, his sexual charisma, and his seductive smile collectively entice me.
But it’s his sin-filled kisses, his sexy ripped body, and his skill at satisfying my needs, that has one scorching night of passion turning into two, then three, and soon enough we’re friends with benefits.
My downfall is complete when every wall I have erected comes tumbling down and I find myself falling hard, foolishly fantasizing about a happy ever after with a man who has his own aversion to commitment.
But when he makes me an offer I can’t refuse, life throws a curveball, and my skeletons are revealed when my ex steamrolls his way back into my life causing everything to spiral out of control.
When falling in love was never the plan — a broken heart is unavoidable.
Marina was born and raised in London, with frequent plane journeys to other parts of the world. Her annual school report always said she’s a daydreamer and needs to live in the real world. She says, if you don’t dare to dream, you’ll only ever see the world in black and white. Her main goal in life is to inspire her children to follow their dreams, and to know that with hard work and effort, anything is possible.
She likes to read and write romance that’s fun, flirty and sexy, with a lot of steam.

I love the Bennett family and I love visiting them in Langston Falls ! I know I’m not allowed to have favourites but if I were to have a favourite it would have to be James ❣️🤷♀️🤣🙈😉
Loving the dedication to author’s dad , really special bond and love shared , much like Roy in the Bennett family 🤗
Ok so the patriarch of the Bennett family , Roy had a heart attack that shocked the family and now he’s on the way home to recover and they’re in need of a nurse and that’s how Sara , our travelling nurse comes into their lives …..
Sara and Noah are the nicest peeps and Noah is such a sweet kid and she’s raised him by herself but he’s coming to an age where he wants to settle and have roots like a normal kid would and I’m soooooo grateful it’s Langston Falls anyhoo their first friends are Tinkerbelle ( cutest little fur princess) and Crystal that runs the motel they’re staying at temporarily…,
James was ready to propose to Sam and then she ups and leaves !? Like girl I get it but I don’t get it 🤷♀️ so James is licking his wounds and is a little jaded but it won’t last long because between Sara and Noah all resistance will crumble 😉
Sara is running from something and I love the way James encourages her to face up to her past and he doesn’t run from her or the situation , this man is a real honey❣️
There’s so much to love about this book and I could carry on forever telling you about it and what these people mean to me but if I do that I’ll be taking away your opportunity to get involved with them ❣️📚😉 go ahead and join them 🥰

These were the people to “hang “ with fictional friends that become fictional family ❣️
1 ECHOING HEARTS
Rae does her friend a favour and does an interview with a home designer , thing is when she gets there said home owner is there and he’s not very welcoming to say the least but for the sake of his sister Kay he “tolerates” his house guest for the weekend and it pays off well for Kay and him in the long run …, the very long and beautiful run …😉
Dean is a delicious and delectable speciMAN but a little jaded after being left at the altar and he’s met his match with Rae though and she gives as good as she gets and the 2 of them had me in stitches in the beginning with their banter …
Rae didn’t have the best childhood and after her mum dies her grandparents raised her so after they passed on she essentially had no family so her friends are her family and she’s especially close to Brandon and has even travelled with him and his band I really felt I could identify with Rae on a few things like the loss of her mother and her thoughts on friends being family and the fact that a man and a woman can be friends without romantic attachments ….
Dean and Rae are good together and Rae has a big heart , Dean needs to sort his “demons” Pune gore he looses the best thing that came into his life and he can thank his lucky stars for a friend like Chris and Brandon that’s so gracious and becomes a friend …..
The people working for Dean may be old but they’re wise and I just love his driver and wanted to hug him he’s a real sweetheart 🥰 all in all he had a loving tribe and his family is warm and loving and they adore Rae and they’re just what she needs ❣️I fell in love with Rae and Dean and yes I wanted to shake him a little but he does come to his sense and they have their HEA but I want to see Brandon get his HEA…… looking for to His Forever Muse
2 HIS FOREVER MUSE
My nerves are shattered as Calliope is escaping her prison , my heart aches for her but at the same time it soars because she is so brave and determined ! The man she was involved with was a monster but he is also a man that comes from a very powerful family , this isn’t going to be an easy battle for her ……
So we catch up with Rae who is being rushed to hospital to have her baby and her bestie Brandon is on hand to get her to the hospital , her husband Dean is on his way to meet them and again I feel my heart beating faster because the precious bundle is coming to early but she’s in good hands ….
Brandon is not only a talented musician it a gifted artist and he’s already had his first exhibition which was rather successful and after a crazy work tour he takes a breather and starts touring and it’s in Morocco where he meets up with his “ muse” his forever love , his best friend and band members sister Calliope aka Callie and as youngsters they were tight and feelings were there but never talked about it acted on , their paths parted but what a beautiful reunion in Morocco and then Paris , hand on my heart ❣️
Brandon and Callie are just poetry in motion and there were moments we here my heart stopped with fear thanks to man that won’t be mentioned ( he deserves no airtime) but it also soared because of Popo with her delicious meals and warm heart , you just want to sit around her table , hug her , eat her food and talk your heart out with her . Then there’s Callies tribe , her Amazonian warriors ❣️Genevieve, Anais and Madeleine that protects her so fiercely but love just as hard and let’s not forget the precious little Eleanor aka Ella ❣️all these people just climbed into my heart and made me part of their family !
Loved Every Minute Reading
❣️📚⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
3. UNEXPECTED ENTANGLEMENT
Again I just got lost in the cover art ❣️love the dedication ❣️📚
So now we’re all friends or rather family it really felt good to be amongst my people again 🫶🏼 knowing Rae and her history I was curious to hear how the other family lived…
I can only imagine the shock Rowan must’ve had first of loosing her father and then his dying words and wish 🥲so Rae can’t meet up with her family but Chris goes on her behalf and he has alterior motives and none are sinister but the man has his own issues and he’s protective of his friend , bless his heart …..
So Chris and Rowan didn’t get off to a good start but soon enough they’re working as a team to arrange the wedding , promote the inn , get the community on board oh and find out who is trying to sabotage them around every corner …. I know such excitement !
Kieran is a good soul and a protective brother but his heart is in the right place and I just fell in love with his nature 😉
Alit of people saw Chris as a threat which in turn put Rowan in a difficult position so out of pure desperation she makes a rash decision that puts both her in Chris in the limelight but man what sun it was to watch these two , they’re so different yet so similar , a perfect match I must say 🥰😉
Gibbs worked on my last nerve but again you can’t fault the old guy , his heart is in right place he’s just not always good at showing it and more often than not comes across as a real gruff and grumpy old man , please be patient with him and his show him love , I know these people have become part of me so I just want others to love them like I do 😘
This is a story of love , redemption, regret, forgiveness, remorse , hope and so much more but it’s also laced with anger , jealousy and vengeance. I was kept on my toes , I laughed , cried , held my breath and cheered friends on and I’ve a new found respect for cats 🐾🤣, just saying !
4. DANGEROUS RHYTHM
Having read the previous 3 books I knew I was in for a treat but this one was like a good red wine it only gets better with time 😉❣️📚
Loving the cover art and it really captures the characters natures , Cutis looks nerdy and with his rockstar persona you’d expect a certain arrogance but I tell you what , just watch him with kids and your knees will turn to jelly and the cover captures that perfect and as for Lina is captures her seriousness 😉so yes in this instance you can judge a book by its cover ❣️📚😉
So Curtis and his band are on your and Lina Is part of the protection detail , things get little more than tense when they’re witness to a lethal stabbing and now the mafia is after him and Lina is now full on protector and the hunt is on , the hunt for blood and the hunt for love , I know it sounds weird but read it and you’ll see where I’m coming from 🥰😉
Lina is very serious and Curtis is a lot more laid back and they bring out the best in each other I think , like yin and Yang ☯️ and I loved watching them find each other in between the twists , suspense and tension of their quest to stay safe . I enjoyed going with them to so many different places and sampling different cuisine 😉🤣it really was just a brilliant read from start to finish !

I was genuinely excited to dive in the characters were spicy. And it had everything you’d want a alphadominated field that’s boss is rendered speechless when his little brothers best friend barrels in loud and in charge. However that’s not her own personality. Who she is behind closed doors is everything he’s wanted. Everything’s he’s craved and needed. And now’s his opportunity to snare her Especially considering she’s now applied to become a member to he and his brothers BDSM club.
This book is extremely promising a hot and heavy read that can tide you over when you want something fast.
The conversation does get a bit repetitive and The waters get a bit murky when it seems the two MC’s have conflict. But that quickly goes away within a few pages.
Personally could’ve been a killing swoon worthy book it just got lost in the mix with the repetition, and plateaued plot

5 Stars Make Me Burn (North Fork Series) by Alicia Street
Make Me Burn is the ninth book in the North Fork Series and is a Contemporary Romance that once you start reading there’s no stopping until you’ve finished. What a wonderfully written second chance romance/best friends sister romance. The characters definitely have some sizzling chemistry between them. They’ve both wanted one another for long time but now that she’s older and he’s no longer best friends with her brother all bets are off. I highly recommend reading this sizzling hot story to find out if they get their HEA? I look forward to reading more from this Author.

This book is amazing! Logan and Jinx are the perfect couple who have worked through many ups and downs, but love always prevails! What turned out to be a misunderstanding led to years apart for the couple, but in the end, it turns out perfect. Fast, easy, and great read.

‘Make me burn’ by Alicia Street lives up to its title. This novel is the sizzling story of Jinx and Logan. They reconnect by chance and the teenage attraction that was “forbidden” by Victor Jinx’s elder brother explodes onto the pages. Lots of very hot sex scenes…Logan and Victor resolve their differences and love wins in the end.
This is book nine in the ‘North Fork’ series and I read it as a stand alone novel. It does contain references to the previous couples from the previous novels in the series but no real spoilers other than names.

This story pulled me in immediately and kept me interested through the entire (very quick) read. The chemistry between Jinx and Logan leapt off of the page and sizzled through the whole read.
Logan met Vic, Jinx’ older brother when they were in college and they became fast best friends. In light of how awful and unsupportive his home life and family was, Victor brought Logan home over the first college break and he was immediately welcomed into their fray. Victors parents considered him another son, Natalie another brother, but Jinx, the baby and black sheep of the family – she immediately fell in love. At several years younger than her siblings, she was always left behind by them and not quite understood, with her sensitive artists brain. But Logan understood. He told her and kept her secrets, inspired her motivation and talents, and let her be her whole self. They even had plans to attend college in the same city and visit the attractions as she grew older!
However, in the midst of grad school, Logan up and disappeared. He changed his number, deleted his email and left town without speaking to anyone except Victor and the story Victor told was that Logan deceived him and destroyed his trust. The family chose to believe Victor and accept the absence of Logan from their lives. Jinx, however, has spent the past 8 years measuring men against Logan and has been sorely disappointed.
When they run into one another at a wedding reception, they manage to avoid much catching up, but Logan finds her the next day and manages to send some business her way. After he makes her an offer of a night together to get each other out of their systems, they realize that getting out of each others systems wasn’t really something they could do. Will Jinx be able to get to the bottom of the rift between Victor and Logan? Will Logan be willing to take the risk of the threat from Victor to be with the woman who really sets his blood on fire? Will they ever be able to find their great love?

I had read some of these books previously and thoroughly enjoyed them so jumped at the chance to read all of them in one collection. I loved each and every one of these books and all of them for different reasons. There were some common themes across all of them though – great writing, fantastic characters and brilliant storylines. This author is one I have only become recently familiar with but I am enjoying what I have read so far. Although this is a collection of books, I read through them all so quickly because I couldn’t put them down. I wanted to see how things would play out and I went from one book to the next with ease. This is a brilliant collection and I enjoyed it from start to finish.

Alam – Review by Kerry Baker
Echoing Hearts This was such a beautifully written story, I really did enjoy it. The characters were well written and were likeable. Dean and Rae were both great characters to read about, their first encounter actually made me chuckle – Dean was not impressed but there was so clearly an instant attraction between them. They both had past issues that was preventing them both from even contemplating a relationship but I was desperately rooting for them both the whole way through the book. I think Rae was definitely my favourite character, she had such a wonderful personality and was so full of confidence and independence – I just loved her!
His Forever Muse This was such a wonderful story. I fell in love with the characters pretty much straight away. The way the author write from in both the past and present made me feel like a really did know that characters and the journey of their relationship. I think it was pretty clear from the moment that they reunited that there was this amazing chemistry and connection. The author did really with the handling of some of the sensitive topics in the story. She wrote them well and there is a trigger warning from her. Brandon was a really lovely character and I loved how protective he was of Callie. Callie is one of those characters who you just instantly take to, she has overcome so much in her past, she had such strength and resilience and I could tell how much she wanted Brandon but was really struggling to let go and move on with her life.
Dangerous Rhythm Yes!! I loved this story so, so much! I loved the characters, the plot, everything really! Curtis was exactly as I wanted to be, however with what he witnessed we begin to see a little bit of vulnerability creep in. How amazing was Lina! She is my favourite character! She’s fierce, independent and just an all-round amazing woman!! The connection that these two had was great and I loved the chemistry between the two of them. With a few twists and turns in the story along with amazing characters this story kept me engaged from beginning to end and I would 100% recommend it!

This was a really great book and I loved every minute of it. I do love an enemies to lovers romance and whilst the characters weren’t technically enemies there was a lot of history between them and an ex best friend thrown in. I loved the characters Logan and Jinx, they did seem to have this genuine connection and I have to admit when I first picked up the book I thought I had got the whole story and characters planned in my head but I was wrong. Logan, yes was you head strong business man but he also had a respectful side to him which I really liked. I really liked Jinx too, she was so down to earth and genuine but she was also a smart business woman with her head screwed on! Overall a really good read and one that I would highly recommend.

This book had me on the edge of my seat with so much happening so soon (not a bad way to start a book) by the way. From the relationship with his twin brother to the other characters, Jake is a man on his own embracing a new environment. the way that everything shaped Jake into being more than who he is beautiful as he handles his own. Dealing with his own painful strides, Jake is overcoming it in a way that’s heroic at least in my eyes. I’m glad I read this book as it led me to trust myself more and the position I’m in at the present moment. Great message, great read: get you a copy!

I love getting my hands on another book in this series as they are each as good as the last one I read. this book is exactly what I have come to expect as well. It is well written story with a great plot and fantastic characters. They are complicated and interesting and so easy to connect with. For me, these are the kind of characters that carry a story and I want to find out more about. This author has really shown off her writing style with this series and it has definitely caught my attention. I have enjoyed each and every book so far and this one is no exception. I am looking forward to my next book by this author.

The Changed Man Audio Book (The Olympic Peninsula Series, Book 4) by Cat Treadgold
The Changed Man Audio Book is the fourth book in The Olympic Peninsula Series. This series just keeps getting better and better with each new book. I’ve truly enjoyed listening to this series and this one may be my favorite yet. The narrator does an amazing job bringing the characters to life with different tones of their voice. I literally listened to this every break and on my way home I had to know what was going to happen next. I just want to say if you haven’t already started this series I highly recommend starting with the first book. It’s a great series and you get back story on what’s been going on and get to know the characters better. Im not going to give anything away. I highly recommend giving this a listen to find out how things turn out for Jake. I’m looking forward to reading/listening to more from this Author.

This is a great collection of books that make up The Echo Series. Here is my review of each book
Book 1-Echoing Hearts This is a beautiful slow burn romance. I love the author’s writing style and how the characters were really brought to life. The author has a way of writing that has you captivated by the characters and willing them to get their happy ever after. Even when that seems so unlikely. This story had me captivated from the first page and I wasn’t able to put it down. Rae is dead set against the idea of love. She can’t see herself falling in love and isn’t looking for it. So when she meets Dean she is taken completely by surprise when the feelings she gets aren’t entirely neutral. Dean has had heart ache in the past when his ex partner left him at the aisle. Since then he has sworn against love. Never wanting to let anyone get close enough to hurt him again. When they meet the circumstances aren’t ideal. Rae is meant to do a segment in a magazine about Dean’s house and he’s not supposed to be there. As Dean and Rae realise they are stuck with each other for the weekend their attractions grows. Things aren’t going to be straight forward however and when Rae’s room-mate and famous rock star comes into the picture the jealously is there for everyone to see. Can Rae and Dean see through all the rubbish and be together? Can they both let go of their pasts and embrace the love that is waiting for them if they are only brave enough to take the risk? It was a beautiful story to watch unfold and their passion and pain is felt in every page and decision they make along the way
Book 2- His Forever Muse This is such an emotional friends to lovers romance. This is the second book in The Echo Series however it can be read as a standalone and still be enjoyed. I love this author’s writing. There are sensitive issues such as domestic violence in this story and the author handles it in a way that isn’t too graphic but gives the reader just enough information to get a feel of what it is like to be in a relationship like that. Brandon Rossi is a talented musician and artist but just recently he’s lost his mojo. There is something missing from his life but he doesn’t know what that is until he meets Calliope. Calliope is a art gallerist. After the trauma from her past relationship which left her a broken person she had managed to rebuild herself and her life. She puts on a front of being a happy complete person but that isn’t the case. She is still broken inside and feels she will never be complete until her path crosses with Brandon again. Their connection hasn’t go away even after all these years and this could be their chance to finally give their love a chance. But things aren’t that simple and when Calliope’s abusive ex returns it could mean the end of their budding romance. This is a heartbreaking and moving story about second chance love and overcoming all odds to find their happy ever after but would is Brandon strong enough to protect her and safe her from her past and the demons that still lurk?
Book 3- Unexpected Entanglement This is the 3rd book in The Echo Series. I highly recommend reading the books in order so you get a better feel for the characters as previous characters show up in this story. However it could be read as a standalone because it mainly focuses on the two main characters Chris and Rowan. This story has a mixture of everything. The romance is a slow burn as circumstances mean that Chris and Rowan have to pretend to be a couple. So what happens when faking being in love actually turns into the real thing? This is something neither of them expected to happen or were looking for. All Chris had to do was help Rowan pull off her cousins wedding, but as attraction sizzled between them and strange things started happening he knew there was no way he could walk away from her. As a reader you can’t help but fall in love with the characters which just goes to show how much love and character the author puts into them. They are more than just words on a page you can imagine them as living breathing beings and you feel every emotion they go through. I really enjoyed this emotional heartfelt story.
Book 4- Dangerous Rhythm This is the 4th book in The Echo Series. Each book can be read as a standalone as they focus on different couples however I have a feeling once you read one you will want to read them all. What I love about this story is that it is the female lead who is the bodyguard/protector which is a nice twist as normally its the male. These books are full of danger, chemistry and great characters. Curtis is a famous rockstar. He has everything he could wish for in life but he feels something is missing. When he witnesses a crime he is forced to go into hiding with a bodyguard for protection. That body guard is Lina. They met years before when Lina was his bodyguard and Curtis left a lasting impression. Now their paths cross again as Lina now has to protect him from the Mafia and a woman who wants Curtis. Not for his fame or his body but she wants his head. Can Lina keep her emotions and desires in check long enough to keep Curtis safe? When Curtis realises that Lina is what he’s been missing in his life can he convince her that sometimes duty can take a back seat to following your heart. This is a fast paced romance filled with steamy chemistry and danger around every corner.

I am such a fan of this series. The author does such a fantastic job of portraying family dynamics and family relationships. Though this is book 4 and it’s focus is on Jake and his slow burn relationship with Chiara,we see the relationships still developing with the other couples. We also get to see him work on rebuilding his relationship with Joe and his other family members. This book, heck the whole series, hits me in the feelers. I always come away feeling every emotion. These guys feel like they could be part of your family or close friends. They are easy to relate to. Such a strong writing style that pulls you in and you are engaged until the end. Hearing it in audio provides a new level to it in the way of feeling those emotions when it comes to the relationships. Every time Chiara would real to Lorenzo about Miss Bigfoot, I swear I woul loose it and spit what I was drinking out. This might be my favorite among the series. I loved the narration. It was fantastic all around.
