Hidden Mischief (Shattered Embrace #1)Hidden Mischief by Alyndra Quinn
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Sooo I’m a first time reader of this talented author Alyndra Quinn, but definitely not going to be my last🥰. This story was really well written and caught my interest from the beginning. This story has some intriguing tropes in it. Brother’s Best Friend, Opposites Attract, Off Limits, BDSM I mean what’s not to love 🤣. Don’t even get me started on what level of spiciness this story is. I think the pacing was decent for me. I really can’t wait for the next book so I can see their happily ever after. I also can’t wait to see if the other side characters in the book will get their own 🥰fingers crossed. I will definitely recommend reading this story.

Hidden Mischief (Shattered Embrace #1)Hidden Mischief by Alyndra Quinn
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

In this book we meet two characters named Zachary and Ashton. Ashton is actually best friends with Zach’s brother. He’s been there for her thru the last few years and he’s been her rock. How will he feel when his brother sets his sights on Ashton and wants to make her his? Is Ashton strong enough to put up the demands of such a strong Dom such as Zachery? Ashton is such a strong character when in a work setting but outside of that, she is the total opposite. The book took me a few days to get through. It wasn’t one of my favorite reads. It was on ok read for me. Kinda a bit bland. Looking forward to the next book to see if it picks up a bit.

Hidden Mischief (Shattered Embrace #1)Hidden Mischief by Alyndra Quinn
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This was a good 4 star read. This is the first book in the series and I was pulled right in. Ashton and Zach give us quite the story. I love Ashton’s sassiness especially when it came to the dominant Zach. Ashton has an interest in BDSM and has a club in mind. What she doesn’t realize is that Zach is a shared owner and has plans for her. And the things we learn about the BDSM lifestyle was intriguing. Can Zach and Ashton keep business and pleasure separate? Will Zach finally open his heart to someone? And being a hot billionaire Zach quickly became a favorite for me. There are some spots that did get a little slow but for the most part I enjoyed the book and I can’t wait to read the next book in the series. 1-click and get started today.

Hidden Mischief (Shattered Embrace #1)Hidden Mischief by Alyndra Quinn
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I absolutely loved this book. Everything Hidden Mischief had to offer was exactly the type of book I was looking for this weekend. There’s passion, strength, independence, loyalty, love, and even laugh out loud moments. The author was able to pull the reader in immediately. It was just an exciting story I never wanted to end.
Ashton finds herself attending a “munch.” There’s things she’s trying to understand and discover about herself, while not letting those closest to her know. She didn’t expect that her best friend’s brother would be the one who helps her along that path. But it’s more than just the BDSM lifestyle between them. Not that they believe it.
Zachary is known for his tough exterior, but that is not all he is. Ashton finds out easily how true that is. When business outside of the club ends up on a collision course with pleasure Zachary is at a loss how to handle it. He’s respected and sought after as club owner and member but now to Ashton. Does he want her, yes. Does she want him, absolutely. But she’s throwing him off his access and he doesn’t know how to handle those feelings. It’s something he understands or has ever experienced.
Does it work out for them?
I didn’t want to stop turning the page. And I was rather depressed when there were no more pages to turn. With some twists and turns the author keeps the reader on their seat, during Ashton’s path of self discovery. And I can’t wait for more!

Fearless Love (The Bennetts of Langston Falls, #5)Fearless Love by K.G. Fletcher
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I’m writing this review with mixed emotions. This by far was the best book in the series. I smiled, I cried, I rejoiced when things worked out for everyone. However, I’m so sad the series is over. I’ve enjoyed getting to know the Bennett family and falling in love with all the characters. Definitely a series I would recommend to other romance lovers and I’ll probably read it again. Thank you K.G Fletcher for giving us such a beautiful story.

Fearless Love (The Bennetts of Langston Falls, #5)Fearless Love by K.G. Fletcher
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the first novel that I have read by KG Fletcher and it certainly won’t be my last as I really enjoyed this last book in ‘Bennett of Langston Falls’ series. I read this novel as a stand alone novel and although there are certain references and spoilers to the preceding novels in the series – I found it easy to pick up the characters and will certainly be going back to read the series from the beginning.

Fearless love is the story of single mum Sara and her adorable son Noah and James. The book starts with James getting his heart broken by Samantha just as he was about to propose. No loss as he soon falls in love with Sara and Noah – a joint package – just the way it should be. Sara and Noah fit right into the Bennet family and they are just the right medicine to make James forget Sam.

The novel is a bit slow in places but otherwise a very sweet and enjoyable story.

Fearless Love: A Small Town Second Chance Single Mom Romance (The Bennetts of Langston Falls)Fearless Love: A Small Town Second Chance Single Mom Romance by K.G. Fletcher
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Fearless Love is a contemporary romance and the fifth wonderful book in The Bennetts of Langston Falls series by K. G. Fletcher. K.G. is one of my must-read authors and I am always on the lookout for more of her work. Make sure to read them all or you will be missing out on the lives and loves of the other Bennetts. Having said that they can be read as standalones.
I can’t believe we are already at book 5 in this series, and this is the last book. I’m going to miss these characters. This sweet story is filled with fun, love, passion and pain, struggle and loss, drama and tragedy, and heartache. The chemistry is off the charts, and it is sexy and steamy.
Langston Falls is a beautiful small-town that feels familiar. It is where family, love and great characters reside and is full of southern charm.
This is a second chance single mom roommates turned lovers’ trope and is James and Sara’s story.
James is a little grumpy, but he has longed to have what everyone else in the family has. Sara has to think of her son, but she can’t resist the sexy man who has come into her life.
I loved the banter between these two, the laughter to be had and family.
KG has done it again.

I find Alicia Street to be a fantastic author whose characters have a lot of depth and each book is better than the next. This is a 7 book set and I promise it is well work reading each one. Each book is well written and the books are completely heartfelt. The Rocklyns have a vineyard and while they love their family they love love even more. The best part of a box set is that you can read each book in succession and you don’t have to wait for the next one to come.

After his last relationship ended abruptly, James Bennett is DONE. James can be happy with his family and dogs, safeguarding his heart from break again. He never expects Sara and her son Noah. Sara is helping his father as his caregiver after his hospital stay. A rocky start between James and Sara is not looking promising, but the more they both get to know one another they find the chemistry between them is not the only way they fit. Can Sara trust James and he in return trust Sara when their happy bubble is faced with trouble?

I really enjoyed this one. James is a bit of a hot head but I think he feels deeply. The way the story starts off was a huge surprise, pulled me in right away and I had to see where the story would go. Another wonderful read in this series.

This is such a fun idea. It is a series of books about Bella and her experiences as a single woman in her 30s. Each book focuses on a different experience with men. In the first book we discover Mr. Wimp, the ex husband who gets us started on our journey. After that we find out more about Bella as Bella discovered more about herself. There are all sorts of different experiences she encounters and each one really leaves her learning more and more about herself. We meet Mr. Smooth and is honestly the usual man any woman meets right after a breakup. Its a fun start but not someone you really want to spend a lot of time with. After that she meets Mr. Kinky who lives up to his name.
I truly loved this set and cannot wait to read more in the series.

This book was such a good one. This is fifth book in this series and can be read as a standalone, But i would read this whole series to get the best reading experience.
This author’s writing style is awesome. I get fully pulled into the story and i enjoy the stories a lot. The main characters in this are James and Sarah. They go into their roommate situation not expecting much, but their circumstances ends up being much more complicated than they thought. I loved them as MC’s and i was rooting for a HEA for them because i liked them from the start.
I am looking forward to more by this author in the future!

This is an author that I have enjoyed reading from the first book I picked up by her. I never hesitate to pick up one of her books. This is the fifth book in this series which I highly suggest reading the previous books as well as they are that enjoyable. I enjoy this author’s writing style as well as her ability to make her characters come to life. They are characters that are full of heart and soul who pop off the pages and into your heart. This is a well written story about Sarah and James. They are roommates that are about to find more than just a living arrangement. I enjoyed watching their growth throughout which added to their chemistry as well. They are relatable and add so much to this story. This is a fast paced, hard to put down romance story that you don’t want to miss. It is an easy to read story that I highly recommend.

What a sweet romance! This is the second one in the series I’ve read, and as always the dad is my favorite. This one definitely tugged at my hearstrings a little bit, and I loved how the FMC was an absolute spitfire who took no one’s BS. The MMC was a sweetheart, even if a little dense sometimes. Pretty much fade to black/closed door for spice levels, but sometimes that can be a bit refreshing. Still recommend, as well as the other books in the series.

This author easily cemented herself as one of my favourites a long time ago and I never fail to pick up and enjoy one of her books. I loved this book from the moment I started reading and read it all in once sitting. This is a fantastic book and a fantastic series, I would highly recommend it.

Let me begin by saying that you can read this as a standalone or in order of the series. I recommend reading it in order because knowing the back story of the Bennett family will help a lot. Now let’s get started with this review. Fearless Love is the final installment to the most beautiful and touching romance series I have ever read. This is James and Sara’s story. The best way to sum it all up is two broken hearts brought together by whatever you want to call it. He’s a tender spirit that knows what he wants and is so loving and compassionate. He shows Sara what life can be like with the right man to love her and her son, Noah. Sara is independent and protective of her son. She learns that its okay to let someone in again. She learns to heal in many ways. Watching these two heal and come together and become a family, small and large, left me feeling so many emotions. Sara’s job as a traveling nurse brought her to the farm to help Ray recover from his health crisis in a previous book, I prefer to think fate brought them together for her own purpose. This author is one of my favorites. Her writing is tender, compassionate, romantic, and realistic. The Bennetts have always felt like they could be part of my community. This author has done a fantastic job of tying up the series. This author has done a wonderful job of making her readers feel that the Bennetts have been part of your family. Happy tears flowed as the family returned for a surprise. Thank you sharing this beautiful series with us.

She earned her BFA in theater at Valdosta State University, and has traveled the world professionally as a singer/actress. KG currently gets to play rock star as a backup singer in the National Tour, “Remember When Rock Was Young – the Elton John Tribute.”

KG is a hopeless romantic. When she’s not on the road singing, she’s probably at home day dreaming about her swoony book boyfriends, or arranging a yummy charcuterie board while sipping red wine and listening to Frank Sinatra. KG loves to interact with readers on social media and share about her writing and singing journey.

Deceptively Yours (Titans of Chicago Series) by Anise Storm – Review by Brandy Rymer

Deceptively Yours (Titans of Chicago, #1)Deceptively Yours by Anise Storm
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Anise Storm wrote an amazing contemporary romance, Deceptively Yours, that will have you questioning what will happen next. This is the first book in the Titans of Chicago series and was absolutely intriguing. The author wrote this story going between the two main characters, Harper and Gabriel’s point of view. I love it when authors do this because you get to see how both main characters are feeling and have a deeper understanding of why their actions are as they are. This story starts out introducing us to Harper and Gabriel, two teenagers in love who have their whole lives together planned out, until one tragic night Harper finds out from Gabriel’s parents that her parents have died in a fatal car accident. Harper’s Uncle George comes to take her from Chicago, Illinois to live with him and his family in Portland, Oregon. After the move, Harper starts pulling away slowly from communicating with Gabriel, until one day out of the blue she breaks everything off. You will be shocked as to the horrors that caused Harper to make this decision. Ten years later the two meet up again, but will they be able to work past their hurt feelings and reconcile so they can at least be civil with one another, or will Gabriel refuse to speak to Harper, who is desperate to talk with Gabriel? The storyline keeps moving from one surprise to the next, flowing so smoothly that you won’t want to put the book down. I cannot wait for the next book in this series to come out, there are so many characters that we meet in this story that I would love to read more about, including Harper and Gabriel’s Titan friends.

Wow! Anise Storm left this reader on her toes, I could not put the book down. It is a dark romance and the plot twists are around every corner. When two childhood sweethearts are swept apart by death and distance, they find themselves together again under unlikely circumstances. Storm creates a tragic backstory for both main characters, and the journey they go through to find one another again is unbelievable. The reason I rated it 3.5 stars is due to the lack of character development. I feel that I could not completely connect to them, their situation, and the storyline in this regard.

Deceptively Yours (Titans of Chicago Series) by Anise Storm – Review by Jess Engel

Deceptively Yours (Titans of Chicago, #1)Deceptively Yours by Anise Storm
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

A good start to a new series. I really enjoyed the other Titans series by this author and was excited to start this one!

Overall, I really enjoyed this story. The author sets up a great plot with characters you want to root for. There is a lot of tragedy and some darker themes, but they are important pieces to the plot and really create depth to the character arcs. The author has an engaging writing style and I found myself engrossed in the book and turning the pages to the end, having to know what would unfold next. The attraction between Gabriel and Harper is palpable and there was steam coming through the pages.

While I really enjoyed this overall, I did feel there was a lot of repetition throughout the book. It is told from alternating points of view and frequently the reader would receive the same information several times as the characters rehashed events. There were moments I felt myself urging the story to just move forward because I had anticipation for what was going to happen next, but had to deal with the rehashing first.

Gabriel and Harper have a wild ride and there are wounds that run deep…can their relationship survive this wounds and the danger lurking around every corner?

Colby and Gabriella had a steamy time together once upon a time. Now they are back in each other’s orbit and they will probably spend time together off and on for many years to come. Her best friend is marrying his best friend and teammate. The push and pull between these two was a bit cliché, however it was still a fun book to read. I haven’t read any of the other books in the series and you don’t have to in order to follow this one. If you like fast paced romances with sports wrapped in I suggest giving this one a try.

Perfect Office Pact

I don’t find myself relating much to these younger characters, but I felt a connection Mira and her quest. I unfortunately decided too late to start my quest.

Mira is too young (as is her sister) to be as grown up and mature as they both are but I understand why they are both like that.

Declan has all the confidence in the world except it seems when working with Mira who was also a student of his while she was in real estate school.

I couldn’t put this book down and even stopped watching a baseball game because I had to find out what was going to happen next between the two and how it was going to end.

I absolutely adored this book, the characters and their story. I’m so glad to be off work so I can read all day instead of working. Great way to spend my day.

Dirty Heartbreaker: Hamilton Steelhawks Book 3

Why am I just finding this series? I wish I had stumbled across it sooner, but Colby and Gabriella were a great way to be introduced to the Hamilton Steelhawks hockey team.

I love sports series, while this particular book mostly takes place during the off season I enjoyed the relationships the players have with one another as well as their partners relationships with their men as well as the other significant others.

Colby and Gabby are dumb for two intelligent individuals. They don’t see what is right in front of them and do everything possible to avoid one another. But thankfully we have a happy ending.

The guys are great and I’m not sure who’s story I’m more ready for Gilly or Rocky, because I think they are both going down in flames.

I will be going back to read the first two books and will be keeping up with the Steelhawks in the future.

This was a great 5 star read. Gabby and Colby’s story pulled me right in. Gabby was hurt by a past relationship. But of course fate happens and at her best friend’s wedding she finds herself face-to-face with Colby. They agree to play nice for the wedding but can they keep their feelings at bay? Will they work things out and get a HEA? I really enjoyed this read and their story. All of the characters added a great element to the story. This is book three of a series but can be read as a stand alone. I would suggest reading from the beginning so you can get to know everyone. If you’re looking for a good second chance sports romance this is the book for you. 1-click and get started today.

Deceptively Yours (Titans of Chicago Series) by Anise Storm – Review by Rosanna Ingram

Harper and Gabriel were young, and in love, until tragedy rips them apart. Years later, when Harper returns to finds herself in Gabriel’s presence once again, their reunion is anything but happy. However, these two fight the line between love and hate time and time again. And, when everything is on the line, the side that wins will seal their fate.

I love these characters. It is intense and dramatic, while also being steamy and emotional. This is not the first book that I have read from this author…and every book has been one that I haven’t been able to put down. As this is the first in the new series, I can’t wait to see what the rest of the series has in store.

The story between Colby and Gabriella was great to read. Gabriella and Colby want their best friends wedding to go without a hitch, but they absolutely loathe each other. They somehow manage to get along for the wedding and they find that they have an attraction to each other. Gabriella is former figure skater who makes costumes for figure skaters. Colby is a sniper for the Steelhawks. Their worlds clash quite a few times in the most spectacular way. I loved reading this story was quite impressed with the story building. I’m going to find the rest of the books in this series!
