Fearless Love (The Bennetts of Langston Falls, #5)Fearless Love by K.G. Fletcher
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This was a brilliant finish to an absolutely fantastic series. I am sorry to see it end. I am so over the moon for Roy and CC. James did not deserve what Sam did at the restaurant. I was shocked!! I am going to miss this family like old friends.

James has been with Sam for a while and even though things have been strained lately, James is ready to take it to the next level. He plans a romantic dinner. Sam is late. It does not go the way James planned. When he leaves the restaurant, James goes home alone and Sam heads off to live her dream. James decides he is swearing off love for a while. And it works for about a minute until James is yelled at by a mystery woman that sets his heart aflutter.

Sara is a traveling nurse. She takes on a job for several months up to a year, and then she moves on to a different location, different job. This has been her life for the last 9 years. She feels it works for her but her son is getting older and has started hating moving. Sara has many reasons to keep moving. Now she has taken a job caring for Roy Bennett. This leads to her having an interesting path crossing with James.

James finds a way to keep Sara close. James moves Sara and Noah, her son, out to the farm to get them out of the hotel where they were staying. The Bennett family envelopes Sara and Noah into their clan. This move even gives Roy a chance at romance!

Throughout the story, we wrap up some questions about what is going on with all the rest of the Bennetts. I think there is more Bennett together time in this book than in all the others. I am here for it. They are a great family. I am sad to wrap up my time with them. It has been a great ride!!

Find time to put this series on your TBR if you haven’t already started it!!!!

Fearless Love (The Bennetts of Langston Falls, #5)Fearless Love by K.G. Fletcher
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

There’s so many ways I could start this it took me a while to decide, so here it goes. I can’t believe the Bennett’s of Langston Falls Series is finished! 😕 It’s a series I enjoyed very much and someday plan to read the whole thing again. I’m still partial to the 2nd book being my favorite however Fearless Love is a very close runner up. James finally got his story, and it definitely didn’t start how I expected it to go. This book picks up right where book 4 ends.
Which to me I thought was like okay why, I thought he’s been in an established relationship since book 1 we just never got a back story. Unfortunately that’s not how this story goes.
Sam left James. Good riddance for leading him on. And it leaves James in a funk that’s not good to be in. Especially with his recovering father who is about to come home from the hospital. Of course if you read these books you know this is a tight knit family so it’s not just James, he just doesn’t want to bring them down. Adjusting to the new norm of an empty home and moving on, he never expected his dad’s care nurse and her son to come barreling into his life.
Sara and Noah are headed to a new home. Why because Sara has a new job to take care of Mr.Bennett. Unfortunately she has a disappointed son, who all he wanted for his 8th birthday was a party with friends. He didn’t understand why they couldn’t have waited a week to move. Sarah still promises him anyway that’s exactly what he’s going to have. When it ends up a bust, she’s disappointed and feels she failed her son. What she didn’t expect was James and the band of Bennett’s to swoop in and not only make his wish come true but make her feel welcome as well. Leading him to some brownie points with her. The way he is with her son is one of the things that draws her to him. But will it be enough?
Can he accept another man’s child, since they are a package deal?
This book plays out exactly like the books in this series. There’s the meet cute. They get to know you and drama. And the conclusion. It’s just the context of how the story is told and the conclusion of what will really happen that keeps the reader involved.
Across these books you grow to love this family. Despite everything they’ve been through. This book even has a little extra towards the end for their widower father as well. I’ll miss this place and these characters but like I said early on I’ll read it again. Put it away for a while and when I find it again be just as excited to jump back into book 1.
If you’ve read the 1st 4 books, gear up for a wonderful finale. If you haven’t, what are you waiting for?!? Go find yourself book 1 trust me when I say that’s the best place to start!

Fearless Love: A Small Town Second Chance Single Mom Romance (The Bennetts of Langston Falls Book 5)

This book was the cherry on top of an amazing sundae. I fell in love with the Bennetts when we first met Teddy and the rest of the family and my love for this family has done nothing but grown over the years.

I always hate saying bye, but there was no better way to do than with James. He and Sara are just amazing together and add Noah to the mix and they are absolutely perfect.

James finds his happiness and Sara finds peace. What more could you ask for?

I’m going to miss the Bennetts and hope Ms. Fletcher treats us to more of her wonderful stories and characters.

Fearless Love is the fifth book in ‘The Bennetts of Langston Falls’ Series by the very talented K.G Fletcher. This gave me all the ‘feels’ and somewhat eased my angst over this being the final instalment in this fantastic series. I admit that I went into this with a bit of a heavy heart, as the Bennetts have been one of my favourite series from Ms. Fletcher- so I knew it would be bittersweet right from the get-go. But Ms. Fletcher wove her magic and ended the series on a high note- with ‘Fearless Love’’ and yet again proved her superb storytelling skills.
I feel like every time I review one of Ms. Fletcher’s books that I am repeating myself, because there are only so many ways to say- ‘she keeps outdoing herself with each new book she releases’, -‘I LOVE this story’, -‘I think it might be one of her best yet’, – ‘she had me swooning while all the emotion strummed my heart strings’, -‘this is another example of why Ms. Fletcher is on my automatic one-click, no questions asked author list’. But all of that is the truth, and having devoured every single book she has written, I really have run out of superlatives that would do her book/stories the justice that they deserve.
This is James and Sara’s story- and I was so excited to finally get to ‘know’ James so much better. Reading one of these books always feel like ‘coming home’- as the Bennetts won me over right from the very first book. With James, I found that the ‘waters ran deep’ and there were so many more facets to him than I had imagined/expected. Sara was perfect for him. As expected, Ms. Fletcher doesn’t make things too easy for them, sprinkling in secrets, angst, animal capers, family dynamics, and drama to keep them on their toes. But, in her indomitable style- she delivered a swoonworthy small-town romance where #lovealwayswins — rounding out this series with a delightfully heartwarming read.
This book could be read as standalone, but I highly recommend reading the previous books before starting on this one, because not only are they all superb stories in their own right, but as each story focuses on one of the Bennett family siblings, each instalment in the series helps to build a bigger picture and appreciation of the characters- which makes the whole reading experience of The Bennet’s of Langston Falls so much richer.
The (completed) series contains:
-Faultless Love (Book #1 — Teddy and Robyn’s story)
-Shameless Love (Book #2 — Walt and Elyse’s story)
-Breathless Love (Book #3 — Hank and Ella Mae’s story)
-Reckless Love (Book #4 — Becky and Glen’s story)
-Fearless Love (Book #5 — James and Sara’s story)
Can’t wait to see what Ms. Fletcher does next- SQUEEEE!!
Happy Reading!

Thank you, K.G. Fletcher!

Sara, a traveling nurse, comes to the Bennett farm to care for James’ dad, who has suffered a heart attack. After a little hiccup with their initial meeting, things begin to get serious between these two. They are both just a little reluctant to fall in love so soon, but will they follow their hearts or let fear and the past stop them. I loved this series, especially this latest book.

Fearless Love (The Bennetts of Langston Falls, #5)Fearless Love by K.G. Fletcher
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Fearless Love: A Small Town Second Chance Single Mom Romance is the fifth book in The Bennetts of Langston Falls series. This can be read and enjoyed as a standalone book. I recommend reading the entire series because the Bennett family is worth getting to know. James is always there for everyone, but his heart has taken a hit with the ending of a relationship. Sara and her son are new to town and living out of their suitcase at a local travel lodge. Does what starts off as a friendly gesture by James become something more for both of them?
I always enjoy books by this author. The characters are grounded and real. This series has thrown some hard times at the Bennetts, but the family supports one another through thick and thin. It is great to get to know James in this book. I also liked Sara and what she brings to the story. She is doing all she can to give her son a good life. I’m sad this is the end of this series, but I know that means another great series is around the corner from the author. I look forward to reading what she puts out next.

Fearless Love (The Bennetts of Langston Falls, #5)Fearless Love by K.G. Fletcher
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Fearless Love is book 5 in the series and a great addition. I loved being able to read as everything unfolded with Roy and his health, James losing who he thought he wanted to spend his life with and then meeting and falling for Sara.
Both James and Sara fell for eachother pretty quickly. James was the white knight she didn’t nessessepeirly need but welcomed. Aside from what happened with Noah and the dogs that first day, James always cared for, loved and treated Noah as if he was his own family. Sara has been working as a traveling nurse for quite a few years. Was She was running from something or someone? When she finally explained to James why she chose to be a traveling nurse, he understood and backed her up thru everything going forward. I think, I love James the most out of all the characters in this series. Definitely a great read.

This was a great 5 star read. Once I started I was pulled right in. This is James and Sarah’s story. Sarah is a travel nurse that is hired to help Jame’s father. There is an instant attraction between them, can James convince Sarah to be with him?

Overall I really enjoyed this book. The characters were great, even though James pushed my buttons at times. We get drama, love, steaminess and so much more. The chemistry between these two was off the charts, you could feel it coming off the pages. I also had some LOL moments with the bantering between them. This is the last book in the series and can be read as a standalone. I highly suggest reading from the beginning. If you are looking for a great series to read 1-click and get started today.

The dynamic between these two is explosive when they meet up again. I love the world that has been built in these series.

Fantastic book. Love the characters. The friendship between Derek and Ashton is wonderful…heck Ashton’s friendship with the other guys is great. I love how she doesn’t take their nonsense. The blossoming relationship between Zach and Ashton has so many possibilities. I hope it only gets better from here.

My heart aches for Ashton. Her world changed in one tragic moment. Her true nature was hidden, locked away, for so long. As she tries to navigate this relationship with Zach as both his girlfriend and more, I hope it only builds her confidence. Zach will surely remember what it is like to just have a girlfriend. The scene where Ashton calls Graham to get Graham to explain to Zach about being a boyfriend was absolutely hilarious and heartbreaking all at the same time.

I am excited for the second in the series. I hope we get some more club scenes!!!

Hidden Mischief (Shattered Embrace #1)Hidden Mischief by Alyndra Quinn
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Hidden Mischief is a contemporary romance, that has a lot of adult content. The first book in the Shattered Embrace series introduces several characters that have very dynamic personalities that you will find very intriguing. This series introduces opposite main characters who you would not normally see as fitting together, but after getting background information on our quiet, introverted main character, Ashton, Zachary may be exactly who she needs to help her come out of her comfort zone. This story kept me on the edge of my seat, excited to see how the outcome would turn out between Ashton and Zachary, and how their friends would react to their relationship with each other. Will this introvert be able to overcome her shyness and find the answers to who she wants to be, or will it all be too much for her to be able to interact with groups of people in a club setting? This is a great romance that is very steamy and is not for younger readers.

Ashton has kept a lot of herself hidden from those who think they know her best. She’s wildly successful and had great friends, but something is missing from her life.
Zachary is extremely successful in several businesses. He controls most things in his life, which is exactly the way he prefers things.
Ashton and Zachary should not work, they’re too different. However, they can’t leave each other alone from the minute they’re together. The devotion seems a bit rushed for the short timeline. Quinn carefully develops the characters to show the readers their personalities and motives. Overall, a good read!

Hidden Mischief (Shattered Embrace Series) by Alyndra Quinn – Review by Jessica stone

So, just to start out I’ll say if you have any BDSM triggers this is not the book for you.
With that being said, I am SO excited to see where this series goes! I’m actually going to be starting the second as soon as I’m finished writing this review.
This is a pretty fast paced book, which I enjoy alot, so buckle up and enjoy the ride.

This book focuses of Zachary and Ash, Zach a millionaire businessman and co owner of a BDSM club called Shattered Embrace. Ash is a widowed business woman, ready to explore life again after grieving and hiding away for soon long.

Ash’s best friend is Derek, who happens to be younger the younger brother of Zachary, Derek and his brother have brought ash in to help on projects with their company so Ash has met Zach a few times in a business setting. But what Ash doesn’t know is that the new BDSM club she’s taken an interest in and even applied to become a member is owned by none other than the two brothers.

Zachary is immediately interested in Ash when he finds out she’s applied for his club, it’s something about her that he can’t resist. And Ash knows it’s a little crazy to fall into Zachary and his wants so quickly but she’s keeping as much of her heart out of it as she can, and if she gets hurt? She’s ok with a little pain to feel alive again.

Ohhhh man, the chemistry between these two is electric, some might say it felt rushed between them, but I think how fast they act on their attraction and give in to their desires is one of their most endearing qualities. I love that they are such different people when they are playing, and that’s outside of the bedroom ash is a large and in charge woman, who doesn’t taken crap from anyone. Honestly, I pretty much love everything about Zachary, he’s so sweet with her and even when he’s demanding in his needs he’s always thinking of her first. Everything he does revolves around her safety and needs and all that. It’s pretty refreshing to see to people so enamored by each other, while at the same time maintaining their boundaries in their personal and professional lives. I’m intrigued to read the second book in their story and to see if they can hold out and stay together.

Now listen the only thing that could make me happier is if there was a book or duet coming up in this series about Derek. I’m hoping he’s going to get his own duet after Ash and Zach. Can’t wait to see what this series has in store, definitely going to be one of my new favorites, I know that for sure.

This was an absolutely incredible start to the Shattered Embrace series! I had planned on just picking this up and stopping after a couple of chapters, but I devoured this in one sitting. I couldn’t put it down because I was drawn into Ashton and Zachary’s lives from the very beginning. I enjoyed the development of each character and felt it portrayed their chosen lifestyle pretty perfectly. Their chemistry leaps off the pages and refuses to be ignored. The flow of the story is fantastic, and there is plenty of spiciness here as well. While I liked the addition of the steamy scenes, the author did not rely on them to be the base of the plot, which I appreciated! I cannot wait to see what the next installment of this series holds and hope I can be patient. I highly recommend picking this up and losing yourself in this wonderful read!

Ashton is a widow, missing her husband and daughter while she pours herself into her cats as she heals. She would likely heal faster if she were able to be public about who she is and her desires, but as it’s not something publicly accepted she hides until she is ready to discover exactly what it is she wants.

Zachary is an insufferably demanding but competent boss, the owner and showman at his BDSM Club, Shattered Embrace, and the absolute hottest man Ashton has ever seen. While he seems strictly in control, what people don’t see is how boring and expected his life has become. He’s incredibly interested in Ashton as his consultant who will gladly call him out, he’s even more interested in her when she applies for membership at his club. Will this stunning, introverted and competent woman find the joy of submitting to him? Will she bring about excitement in his routine? What will they find within one another?

An enjoyable and engaging contemporary romance which kept me happily turning the pages. Ashton has been on her own for years and decides to finally move on. She applies for membership at a BDSM club ‘Shattered Embrace’, only to find that it is owned by Zachary. He is not only her new boss but also her best friend’s brother. Zachary is surprised when Ashton turns up at his club, but he finds her fascinating as she’s a mix of bold and innocent. However, they are complete opposites, but opposites can attract. Zachary and Ashton’s chemistry sizzles off the page and leads to some steamy scenes. The couple have a Dom/sub dynamic and I like how the author has included the BDSM community in this story. This is a great start to a new series and I look forward to returning to ‘Shattered Embrace’ soon!

This is a great first book and series start. Ashton is shy in her personal life ( I find her quite strong when it comes to her job) with a hidden sassy side while Zachary is dominant, possessive and completely wants her! Quite opposite in many ways their attraction and relationship slowly comes together for them and will keep you the reader captivated. Hidden Mischief is the first book in the Shattered Embrace Series. This is a Contemporary Romance/ Best Friends Brother Romance that once I started reading I had a hard time putting it down. I actually devoured this book in one afternoon because I simply couldn’t put it down. This is a new t author to me and I’m definitely a fan now. The characters are developed, fun, semi relatable and complex. They have a mysterious side to them but bring the story to life. The d/s is something I’ve always been curious about learning more about its intriguing and exciting . I want that. Ashton and Zac oh my. He’s a sexy dom who can be a little possessive. He’s wanted by all the ladies but he only has eyes for one . Ashton is a bit shy but can be feisty and outspoken when she’s needed to be. These have the chemistry between them and it’s the slow burning kind. The buildup is totally worth it. I don’t want to give to much away. I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. I’m looking forward to reading more from this Author.

Hidden Mischief (Shattered Embrace #1)Hidden Mischief by Alyndra Quinn
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Domination. Submission. Longing and need. This is the first book I have read by Alyndra Quinn, and I am honestly struggling to organize my thoughts on her amazing talent. Hidden Mischief is the first book in a new series and part one of Ashton and Zachary’s duet.
Ashton is a scientist, everything she does is well researched, thought out and planned. Zachary is the billionaire CEO, Dom that every sub dreams of, only he doesn’t commit long term. Ashton took the biggest leap in her life applying to Shattered Embrace, the local kink club. Only she was full of doubts and fears from the start. Her best friend is co-owner and after years of carefully hiding half of her soul away from him the time has come to be her whole self. Zachary has never “chased” a woman before, but the instant Graham brings her application to him for her interview he’s intrigued by her impact on the experienced Dom. By chance the Ashton in the file is her and he can’t resist the questions in his mind of how she hid under two very established Dom’s without them realizing she was a soul-deep sub. A chance day full of important meetings start their interview early and the immediate electricity, intrigue, rightness, is combustible. She landed in his lap; he wasn’t looking for her and never realized he needed her but now he needs her to be his and no one else’s.
Can Ashton finally be whole? Will Zachary be able to heal her twice rejected soul? How can they work when one is a serial casual and the other plays for keeps? While the overall world isn’t made up the shear intrigue of their world and how they move within it is perfect. Ashton isn’t a doe eyed woman ignoring red flags and chasing fantasies from a book she wants acceptance, to be wanted, and desired. I cannot wait to start book two, Managing Mischief here I come. I just hope they find their HEA because lord they deserve it, and my soul needs it at this point.

Fearless Love (The Bennetts of Langston Falls, #5)Fearless Love by K.G. Fletcher
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is the book I have read by K.G. Fletcher and I must say I am a new fan.

James has sworn off relationships after his last one ended and left a bad taste in his mouth. Sara is a travel nurse who is hired to take care of Jame’s father. Someone James did not anticipate coming into his life and having him rethink his plans for his life. The issues start with the fact Sarah has baggage or should we say secrets on top of being a single parent to a little boy. Can both overcome things to be together?

You are taken on this journey of learning how to love again even when you are scared. Learning the learn to trust one another when trouble arises. This story was a page turner for me and makes me definitely want to read more by this author.

Alpha male mentality, humor, lots of banter, strong and independent but submissive Female lead. Lots of spicy encounters, and some slow burn romance. Definitely an intriguing mix of characters with lots of different elements. It makes for an engrossing read. I for one cannot wait for the second book. Fearless Love (The Bennetts of Langston Falls, Book 5) by KG Fletcher. I love this author, this series and this book! This book can be read as a standalone but I enjoy them better when I read them in order. In this book we get James’ story and I fell in love with him. Fearless Love (The Bennetts of Langston Falls, Book 5) by KG Fletcher

Fearless Love is the fifth book in The Bennetts of Langston Falls. This is a Contemporary Romance that once I started reading I couldn’t put it down till I finished. I’ve truly enjoyed reading this series and this book might be my favorite yet. The characters are developed, relatable and bring the story to life. This is a second chance romance that is packed with drama , love , loss, struggles, family, tragedy and so much more. My heart ached for them. I can totally picture myself living in Langston Falls, it sounds like my kind of town and people. This is James and Sara’s story. She’s a single mom and a traveling nurse who was hired to help james dad. He’s bit of a grumpster but he just had a not so great breakup. These two have definite chemistry between them. But what will happen when she and her son become his roommates? Can these two have what they both deserve? I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. I’m looking forward to reading more from this Author

Fearless Love (The Bennetts of Langston Falls, Book 5) by KG Fletcher – Review by Paloma Fierro 26/2/24

James was ready to the next relationship level with his girlfriend, oh but so it’s life that she wasnt and left him to take a new place in a new job.

Sara is a single mom who works as a traveling nurse and makes the best of each new experience. With her son by her side she can take the world by its horns. But her darkest secret must be revealed so it can not long hold her prisoner.

This second chance romance is full of funny banter and cute kisses along the lines.
