Urban Justice (A Chicago Vigilantes Novel Book 2) by India Kells. This author hasn’t failed me one single time since I for her. And this time was just another fine example of why she’s in my top favorite authors. Once again I found myself completely drawn in and and I couldn’t put this story down any easier than the others. This one is just as amazing as book one. The characters are complex and so easy to connect with. The storyline is engaging and unique you can’t help but read it in one sitting because trust me you’ll tell yourself to quit but you won’t be able to. Each character brings something different to the storyline and they truly make this an awesome story. You’ll be happy to get lost in these pages for a while trust me. Five stars all the way and highly recommended!

Lies That Bind: A Logan McKenna Mystery Book 6 (Logan McKenna Series) by Valerie Davisson. I can’t get enough of this series. Just when I think it can’t get any better this author proves me so wrong. I love getting lost in the pages of this series. Without fail the storyline and characters draw me into this world created with words and I have the hardest time leaving when I reach the end. I love a story that keeps me guessing and that’s exactly what I know I’ll be getting when I pick up a book from this series and author. The characters are so easy to connect with and I’ve definitely developed a fondness for each one over this series. It’s well written and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking anything. I highly recommend this series to anyone and everyone. Five stars all the way!

Oh my this book is good! I love a good mystery and this book definitely gives you that. The characters are wonderful and they make such an impression you think they are jumping off the page. The story is of a longer length however once you start reading you will not mind a bit. I didn’t want the story to end. Mark Nolan has created a novel that I will recommend to all my friends! I have thoroughly enjoyed this series and this latest installment from Davisson is another suspense filled page turner. I continue to love reading Logan‘s escapades. I appreciate the character development with the side plot of her family relationships and intertwining with the latest mystery. A story that kept me reading until the last page. The Bullet Theory (Dr. Nolan Mills, #1) by Sonya Jesus This book pulled me in and broke my heart within the first couple of chapters.
Eleanor is a police officer and when she was called in to help with a case she didn’t realize how much it would change her life. Now she’s trying to move forward and she has set her mind to helping her fiance work on a case, but not for the reason he thinks. She agrees to go see a counselor, this is where she meets Nolan.
Nolan is a psychiatrist who Eleanor believes may have files on the proxy killer and she wants to get her hands on them. Will Eleanor get the revenge she is seeking?
Overall this was a thrilling read, the author pulls you right in. All of the characters added a great element to the story. There are some very emotional scenes that had me ugly crying. The pain that Eleanor went through, no one should ever have to experience. If you’re looking for a great read, 1-click and get started today on this one. This book drew me in from the beginning. I found this story to be full of action, suspense, humor, twists and turns, and wonderful characters including Cody the dog. There is a lot going on in this book but it all flowed nicely so you aren’t confused in any way. Even though this story is a little long I kept finding myself not wanting to put it down because I needed to know what was going to happen next. This book kept me entertained and at the edge of my seat at times. The author did a great job in writing with vivid detail. This is a good mystery novel that I recommend reading.

This is the first book I have read from this author and now she has a new fan. I usually don’t read thriller books but for some reason this storyline caught my eye. This is the first book from the Dr.Nolan Mills novels and this is an addictive way to start a new series. Once I started this book I could not put it down until I read the last page. It only took me a full day to devour this amazing story. I can’t wait to read more of this series.
Eleanor Deveraux was involved in a tragic incident and now she has nothing to live for but revenge. She knows her relationship is doomed but she wants to give it one last try. Eleanor starts working together with her fiancé in a case they have been trying to solve. This is the book that started it all. It starts with action and easily kept my interest throughout. I loved seeing the meet ups of Tyrell and Cody and others(I have read all the other books before this one). I still enjoyed it other than at times it’s wordy. The flow is nice and of course I love these characters. I could really see the relationship built between Jake and these others.
Overall I am glad I finally read this. It’s a bit long but still a good lead off.

Dead Lawyers Don’t Lie is the first book in Mark Nolan’s Jack Wolfe series. It’s an exciting mystery that keeps readers on the edge of their seat throughout! In this book we get to know Wolfe, as well as Cody, the dog he adopts following the death of Cody’s previous owner. The affection Wolfe has for Cody and the growing bond between the pair is really special and helped me to grow to like Wolfe as a character! As a retired military dog, Cody is well-trained and very intelligent – a perfect sidekick for Wolfe! Wolfe seems to constantly be getting himself into trouble, which adds to the tension. The story switches between viewpoints which further serves to heighten this tension! The viewpoints also help the reader to see different sides to the story – I definitely found myself sympathising with the killer from time to time. For me, this is a five-star read. It’s a fairly long book – a good companion for a holiday (if you’re lucky enough to be able to travel…) or to snuggle up with on a staycation. I’d recommend to readers who enjoy action and mystery, and have a soft spot for four-legged heroes!

What a beginning! this book grabs your attention from the first few paragraphs, and keeps it. It is a sad,tragic, crazy, twisted book with an ending you wouldn’t expect. A couple has to accept the death of their unborn child and at the same time find the person that killed him, re-discovering their love for each other at the same time. Author Sonya Jesus does an awesome job with these characters and storyline. I highly recommend this book.

When I saw that the third book in this series was available I grabbed it straight away – I really enjoyed the first 2 books so I couldn’t wait to get started and I wasn’t disappointed! I love PJ Santini, such a great character to read about. There so much in this book it is definitely an all-rounder that can be enjoyed by many. I love the interaction between PJ and all of the characters, she definitely makes this series! I definitely love reading about her. I feel as a reader I’m there solving mysteries with her. The author has a really great engaging writing style and she has definitely held my interest across three books! A great book and series and I would definitely recommend them to other readers!

This is the 3rd book in the PJ Santini series. I haven’t read any of the others but I would recommend to do that as this story was a bit hard to get into without it. However once I got into the story I found it enjoyable. I liked the characters and the humour the lead character has. I love how the writer has brought not only PJ but her whole family to life. With the comedy between her family and the intrigue in the case she’s working there is something to keep everyone gripped.
PJ is a private investigator and a TV reporter. When a divorce case she is working on turns into murder she needs to find out who is responsible. But with pressures from her job and her family this is going to be anything but a simple investigation.

Love Heels!: The TV news business can be murder (PJ Santini Series Book 3) by Lynne Russell is a romantic crime comedy. As usual Lynne has given us a fun and entertaining read. In typical PJ Santini style she once again finds herself smack bang in the middle of murder and mayhem and as we all know she won’t stop until she has discovered the truth. This story had me laughing out loud at the antics and banter of the characters who are mostly family and friend. This is the third book in the series and each book gets better and better and Lynne has proven she has what it takes to keep the pages turning.

The Bullet Theory by Sonya Jesus is the first book in the Nolan Mills series and was a very intriguing and interesting read! This is the second novel I’ve read from this author, and I enjoyed it so much more from the first. I’m glad she put a trigger warning in the book, because this book could be very triggering for someone who has experienced child lose in the past. This was a very thrilling novel to read and I was intrigued from the beginning. It took a couple of chapters to become fully enthralled though. But I highly enjoyed reading this novel and can’t wait to read the next installment in this series!

Love Heels: The TV News business can be murder by Lynne Russell is the third book in the PJ Santini series. This series can be read out of order as the stories are all stand-alone however since they follow the same character I would recommend reading them in order to get the full background and build up. This book has got to be my favourite in the series so far!!! It is so entertaining right from the word go. I loved delving back into this character, she is always so much fun. And yet at the same time the story is always so interesting and well developed. It is fast paced and really attention grabbing, it had me on the edge of my seat a few times. This whole series has been amazing so far and I am already looking forward to whatever else this author produces!!!

This is my second book by India Kells and the second installment of the Chicago Vigilantes series. I really liked the first book and couldn’t wait to read this one. Urban Justice didn’t disappoint. Sloane (main female character) is working to make the wrongs in her past right by getting rid of Phantom, a deadly drug taking over the streets of Chicago. Professor Luke Radcliffe, who is a former Marine, is our main male character and he’s got his own set of past situations to deal with. How will these two characters come together and help each other? Read this book and find out. I always say this but read them in order!

This is the sixth book in the Logan McKenna Series and each book is better than the one before it. Valerie Dadvisson has such a vision for her stories. There is never a dull moment. She describes everything in such detail like you were right next to Logan yourself. Logan is expecting happy times ahead. Ben and her have bought a house that needs some tender loving care on the Oregon coast. She is going to be meeting her half-sister, Olivia. Logan has a murder she is going to be investigating while her and Olivia are getting together for the fist time. Will Logan and Oilivia meeting go well? Will Logan and Olivia be on the same page for investigating this murder/accident good? I highly recommend this story to see what happens to the investigation.

I really enjoy Nolan’s storytelling and the characters in this series. Jake is a very strong lead and there is quite a bit that unfolds in this book. Tons of detail that helps you definitely plug into the exact place the author wants to transport you to. This is not my first book by this author but I do think it might be one of my favorites. I could not put it down once I started and in some places had to slow down so I did not finish so fast. The suspense was off the charts and the way this author weaved things around had me all kinds of messed up.
I felt like I truly understood where Eleanor was in this story, all the way through. Her character was written beautifully and I felt the emotions that were written. Another story where the characters were portrayed enough to let you connect with them and Sonya Jesus has that mastered. I also loved this storyline and it was given to me by multiple POVs. This used to not be a favorite of mine but has really grown on me and getting the different perspectives gives me the whole story and I love that.
This book had me asking myself all kinds of questions of what I believe is right and wrong, quite a fine line when you get into this story. I am so happy with how this book ended. I was really worried there for a bit and love that this is book 1 of a new series that I can not wait to read more of.

I love a good murder mystery. The blood gets boiling and kind races. You never know what you will be hit with next. Jake was an interesting character. He was lazy with a weird sense of justice. He never does anything by the book. He is quick on his feet when there is trouble. I really like how the author made him feel more realistic. He wasn’t this smoking hot guy with all this charm and killer skill. He felt like a regular guy who just knew what he was good at and thrived in dangerous situations. There were some moments that I was like meh next but over all not a bad read.

Urban Justice (A Chicago Vigilantes Novel Book 2) by India Kells was yet another wonderfully written suspenseful romance that had me eager to finish in one sitting. Sloane Friday, an ex-cop, is working with some men in an attempt to get rid of a deadly drug wreaking havoc on Chicago. As Sloane is trying to get rid of Phantom, the deadly drug, she is reliving a part of her life she thought was in the past. Professor Luke Radcliffe, who is a former Marine, is approached by the Vigilante for help but finds himself back in a violent world he thought he had left behind. Luke begins to realize that the group he is working with is more than just a bunch of criminals, they are truly trying to right a wrong. He finds himself particularly drawn to Sloane. An unusual group of people is brought together with a common goal, rid Chicago of Phantom before it claims more lives. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this suspenseful novel, it kept me on my toes, kept me interested, and kept me wanting more. The budding romance between Sloane and Luke was another positive for this novel.

It has been a while since i have a read a good thriller that had me hooked from the start, There is so much suspense and mystery that will keep you guessing throughout. Such a good plot line. Retired Vet Jake is being targeted by a serial killer, can he escape the clutches of the psychopath? there’s so many twists and turns you wont want to put the book down. A very well written book and cant wait to start book two.

Lies that Bind by Valerie Davisson is the sixth book in the Logan McKenna mystery series. This book could be read on its own however I would say that ideally you should read them in order as the series follows the same characters. Reading them out of order would, for me, lose a lot of the build up and fantastic character development. This series honestly just keeps getting better and better. Each time I read a book I think that surely the author can’t beat it and yet each time she does just that. I loved the intrigue and the classic tale you get with this book. It was a gripping story and I found the whole book to be edgy and exciting. I love getting back into Logan and her life each time with these books. I don’t think I could ever get bored of her character! The author really has done an amazing job of creating lasting connections with the characters and this book just highlights that even more. The Lies That Bind has to be my favourite of the series so far and I am really hoping we get to see more from this series.

This is the sixth novel in the Logan McKenna series from Valerie Davisson. I have loved these books from the get go with book one, and every time I pick one up I know it is going to be quite the mind sucking read. I would personally recommend that you read these books in the correct order because the main characters really have some intense character growth and it is much easier to follow along with. In Lies That Bind we find Logan McKenna as she is about to meet her half sister, Olivia. The two of course are also thrown a curveball and we find them thrust in the middle of a murder conspiracy. I couldn’t put this book down and I was so enthralled with it I lost track of time. I cannot wait to see what adventures we will get in upcoming novels!

I came back to this series after a gap, I had read the first one, The lightning horse but did not read books 2 and 3. So I was a little apprehensive when I picked this book. I had the background of the characters but over the span of four books, they have all changed, aged and characters have been introduced. The book starts off with a murder mystery which the Egyptian diplomat Hani has to solve and this time around, a specific request from the queen has to be honored. The plot is complex, and there are lots of twists and turns. There is a murderer on loose and Hani’s family is in jeopardy. His daughter also gets involved and Hani finds himself tangled in a complex puzzle which becomes increasingly difficult to solve. This book blends historic fiction and mystery beautifully. It is a very fast read, and it keeps the readers on their toes on what is coming next. Overall, a very compelling and an enjoyable read.
