What started out as revenge turned into to love. This addictive romance was passionate and sweet. I loved Soumya and Vir as they grew as a couple in this novel. The drama kept the story fast paced and easy to get lost in. The main characters being from a different culture also had me fascinated. I really enjoyed this lovely romance.

Eastern Shore Swingers Books 1-3 (Boxed Set) by Phoebe Alexander is a steamy, unique, original collection, that will hooked you and will have you binge reading the weekend away.
As I have already reviewed these books separately, I’m going to give you a highlight from each.
Fisher of Men “Man oh man, this book is, wow. I mean, you need to go into this series with a open mind, but this book. Wow. I’m kicking myself for not reading it sooner. Oh why am I all up in arms about this book.. well my friends, I’m not going to tell you cause there is just so much that needs to be experance for the first time, that telling you anything will ruin that delightful experience. ”
Siren Call “This story was unique, but still no different then reading a romance with F/M romance. We all fall in love the same way, and this book not only showcases that but elevates it. I think it was because there was none of the super alpha male thing going one, and there was less stupid decisions that lead to misunderstanding. (You all know what I’m talking about). It was refreshing. ”
The Catch “I have to tell you that, I really like Paisley as the lead MC. She’s a mature woman that has some immature tendencies. Strong, smart and not seeing the great storm that she is, we get to witness her ups, downs, and of course, putting a, to her, a shameful past to rest.”
As the a whole this collection is worth your time and energy, there are more books to this series, but these three is where it all starts and as I said, a must read. So please take my super high recommendation and my stamp of approval, that you will get sucked into this fantastical world.
Surviving Eden (Surviving Series Book 1) by Virginia Wine is a contemporary romance story about love and loss and finding that one person who understands you. It is also about forbidden love in the eyes of others, doctor/patient, age and best friends daughter. But as we know love has no boundaries and it doesn’t discriminate, love is love and not one size fits all. Virgina has once again cleverly woven and written a story that will make your heartache and shows real and raw feelings. It is a story that has drama and passion, loss and love and finding your one but in the midst of loss so great, that you feel deep in your soul. Dr Theodore Grant has been closed off emotionally for years and the only things he lets himself feel are the things that are extreme, fast cars, sex and the one being in control and professional. When he is asked to take on a new patient he finds himself suddenly feeling things he has never felt. He finds himself succumbing and his control slipping whenever she is around. Will he give in to temptation or will all his moral codes to fly out the window? It is a great start to the series and I can’t wait for the rest.

This is my first book by this author and i thought it was really good. It is a paranormal why choose romance that has sexy shifters, a zombie apocalypse and a strong heroine that i personally loved! This book had a few twists and turns along the way that kept me turning the pages and wanting to know what was going to happen next. This book is a terrific start to a series and has a lot of great world building going on that sets it up nicely for more stories to come. I would recommend this to a friend! Go get this one now! Forgetting Ophelia: A Novel By Julie C. Gardner. I knew I’d probably really like this book but I definitely ended up absolutely loving this story. Lia’s character is just so realistic and relatable that you can’t help but cheer for her. There’s a lot of raw emotions written into this story that makes it one I just couldn’t put it down. The emotional journey Lia takes is one I won’t be forgetting anytime soon. This is my first book by this author and I’m excited to read more soon. It’s well written, at some points a bit on the slower side but it didn’t hinder my enjoyment of the story. I’m giving this book a four star review and highly recommend it to everyone.

Surviving Eden By Virginia Wine Book one in the ‘Surviving Series
Five Stars
How incredibly sad. To lose so much and then learn that your life is a lie. I hope to never experience what Eden does. Theo was a jerk at first he was real and didn’t lead females on but man he was a douche. I’ve never felt survivors guilt or the pain of losing a parent. From the authors words alone I felt their pain. This story was well written. The characters were developed greatly and were relatable. I happen to prefer older men so I understand Eden’s attraction to Theo. I think the author balanced the light moment and the sadder moments really well. This story is definitely worth the time it took to read.

Hope’s Defeat is the thrilling conclusion (third book) to The Fated series by Angela McPherson. This book (and series) is in my top reads for this year and definitely one of my all-time favourites, ever! I adore this spellbinding fantasy- it has everything you could want in a riveting read, and if you love your fantasy/paranormal- then you are in for a real treat. The book has incredible paranormal elements, a bit of a twist on Greek Mythology, a Curse, Immortals, Gods & Goddesses, Light and dark, good vs evil, mystery, drama, destiny, action, adventure, suspense, danger, intrigue, magic, and romance- it will also keep you on the edge of your seat and leave you guessing the whole way through. This incredible story is woven around the legend of Pandora’s Box and it’s a wonderfully original and exciting read! As I said in my review of the first 2 books, this story/series definitely has a ‘Percy Jackson’ feel to it, and would definitely make a wonderful and exciting television series. This story picks up 3 weeks after the intense events of the previous book. Trinity feels an enormous amount of guilt over what happened and blames herself. She feels like she’s let everyone down, especially Blain, as she wasn’t able to prevent what happened. But when events unfold, and Trinity is given the chance to be normal, will she take it- or embrace her fate? GAH!!! I sooooo love this book/series soooo much. I really don’t want it to end!!! This book, being the conclusion, was the most intense and had some intense suspense and gripping action! It was also steamier than the other two books, as Trinity and Blain’s relationship matures and evolves. The characters are really superb- so well developed and brought to ‘life’ by Ms. McPherson- they are fully realized individuals with their own personalities, quirks and flaws. They were so believable, and continued to mature, grow and develop as the story unfolded. I really hope that this won’t be the last that we’ll see of these wonderful characters, and that we will get to revisit them again in the future!!! As I’ve said before- Pure perfection!!!! I CAN NOT WAIT to see what Ms. McPherson does next!

If you are looking to read about someone’s sexual adventures, you need to read this book. Brad is our main character and he likes women. In fact, he likes having sex with women. This book gives us five escapades with Brad and other women. They are quick reads. They are steamy reads. Some are even taboo. These stories had no real plot other than Brad’s bed post notches. I can recommend this book to those readers that need a quick and sexy read.
Paranormal Romances are something that I haven’t read in quite some time but, Claiming Her Mates by Dia Cole has reminded me of why I use to read these books. This wolf shifter romance story kept me entertained with the suspense and mystery – I’m not crazy about the zombie part, that’s just me. (So I am not holding that against my review.) But the characters were so likable and swoon-worthy, that I want more. The Romance Reader in me loved the chemistry between Havana and her men (Mason, Gabriel, and Liam). And don’t get me started on the steamy sexy moments – so yummy! This might have been my first book by Dia and I can’t wait to see what is going to happen next.

This is the first book I have read from this author and she blew my mind. I absolutely love Paranormal Romance but this author exceeded all my expectations. This is the first book of a new series and I can’t wait to see what happens next. You can’t help but to fall in love with all of these characters. I was drawn into this story on page one. The story takes you on a journey like no other. It only took me a few hours to devour this incredible book.
Havana is ready for the holidays but her friends are telling her that they can’t go to her party. She is sad but more turkey for her. Havana is finishing up her night at work but then three very hot men come looking for her. She is afraid that they are cops so she runs but she runs into danger. Havana has discovered that the new flu vaccine is turning all the humans into some type of monsters. She came very close to becoming a meal but one of the men saves her life. Havana now has to depend on Gabriel, Liam, and Mason with her life. She notices that something is off about them but what? Havana gets to know these men and she starts to develop feelings for them. Who will Havana choose and will they find a cure for this epidemic?
I absolutely loved this book. The story line has it all; hot romance, suspense, and mystery. You will fall in love with these characters right from the beginning. Havana is a very strong woman and she knows what she wants. She is not afraid of speaking her mind. The men in this book will make you swoon. They have their own personalities and you will fall in love with all of them. Gabriel is moody and dark but he treats Havana like a princess. Liam is beautiful and very humorous. Mason is a sweetheart that would do anything to make Havana smile. These characters have some steamy scenes that will make your toes curl. This talented author will have you at the edge of your seat until the end. I can’t wait to see what will happen to these unforgettable characters next.

The Debt Collector, an Underground Bad Boys Romance, by India Kells is a story rife with chemistry, mystery, allure and more. India Kells delivers a cast of characters that are detailed original with heart-stopping qualities. The Debt Collector touches on topics that some wish to avoid, but the way the author handled them within this story was well thought out and not overly done to cause distaste within the story. Truly a great story by an author that can deliver again and again.

Building Storm ( A Hawke Family Novel) (The Hawke Family Book 4) by Gwyn McNamee 5 stars
Being the 4th book in this series, it must be said you have to start at the beginning with book 1, Savage Collison. These stories all build on one another and must be read in order. I have been waiting very patiently for Storms book and this did not disappoint. Storm ia so hard on herself and after all shes been through, she should be allowed some of it and theres no timeline for your feelings. I can’t say much more on storyline as I cannot give anything of this story away. But I will say I loved these characters so so much and as always, where’s there’s Hawkes, there’s drama and danger! I hope to see more from this family as I dont want it to be over.

Forgetting Ophelia by Julie C. Gardner is the third book in the Friendship and Secrets series. I have not had the pleasure of reading the first two yet but after reading this one they have both been added.
Ophelia, who goes by Lia, is so much stronger then she gives herself credit for. After a less than ideal childhood, she has had a pretty good life as an adult. That is until it comes crashing down one fateful night.
She has amazing friends and I loved her uncle. Her mother was similar to my own and for that reason I felt a kinship with her.
She does so much growing emotionally through out the book and I would love to see how it continues. I was a little disappointed in the ending at first, I felt like her story wasn’t finished. I then started thinking about it and what happens next and realized it could end the way I wanted it to.

A Pink Christmas Kiss (Christmas Kiss 3) by Allyson R. Abbott 4 stars
This was a quick fun Christmas read! I loved seeing a female mechanic! While this is the third book in the series, all are standalones, and can be read in any order. Billie was afraid every one would look at her as a failure if she came back home after fleeing to New York, but when her daddy needs her home she flies back to take over the shop. She just hopes not to run into her ex, Leroy. He never came after her when she left and she’s hurt. What waits her is a huge surprise and once the town gossip gets spilled she has more questions. Can these two overcome miscommunication?

A great read about trust. Havana has the worst day at the strip club she works at when a man falls sick with the new virus and the apocalypse begins in front of her. Rescuing her from it all are three handsome and mysterious men who are just as deadly. Can she trust them to lead her to safety? A great read. Well developed plot with twists and turns. Well developed characters like Havana standing up for herself but caring underneath or Liam as a gentle giant. I loved the use of the senses throughout the novel like the smell of the corpses/zombies, blood and fire or the sounds of bones crunching and popping as if you were actually there. I also loved the visual detail of the grandeur of the vacation house later on with the statues and strange furniture that seemed Gothic style from a horror story. The shift in perspectives for chapters worked well to display all sides to the story and was easy to follow. I loved how the story started straight into the action to grab the reader from the start. Fast paced action and high stakes in a sci-fi fantasy world made for a captivating read. Overall, a great read and I would give it five stars.

5 Star Beats Of The Heart ( Lyrical Odyssey Rock Star Series Book 1) By Charli B. Rose is the first book in the Lyrical Odyssey Rock Star series. I had a hard time putting it down once I started reading. I was drawn into their world and felt like I was right along with them. At times I felt like I was on an emotional rollercoaster ride, as my emotions were all over the place. Izzy and Dawson have been best friends since they were younger and have gone from friends to lovers. These two believe their hearts beat as one and that their souls fit together. Izzy is Dawson’s muse and because of her, the music flows. These two have off the charts chemistry and holy hell does it get hot and steamy at times. Find out what happens next. I highly recommend reading this book. You won’t be disappointed, I know I wasn’t. I look forward to reading more from this author.

Souls Collide by Kristina Beck is the third book in the Collide series. This book utterly blew me away from start to finish. Alexa and Kent are simply just wow. The way they worked together is incredible. You can feel the connection between the two of them; you can feel the conflict they feel and how that progresses into so much more. This book is full of suspense and it will keep you on the edge of your seat right through to the very end. I also have to point out the cover on this book and how incredible it looks. It is eye catching and pulls you in before you even read a single word. It fits the book to a tee and has to be one of my favourite covers of all. Everything about this book is amazing. Do yourself a favour and start reading today!
Forgetting Ophelia : A Novel by Julie C. Gardner is a story that highlights how everything is not always as it seems, even to those who think everything is perfect. This is an entirely new author to me and I was sucked in straight away with how well the story seemed to flow. The story development felt natural and easy and the characters all had a great depth to them. I expected that this book would have a lot of emotional aspects however I didn’t expect to feel quite as emotional as I did. I really felt like you connected with Lia in this story, and the more you read the more invested in her future you become. I thought this book was a great introduction to this author and has certainly whet my appetite for more of her work.

I was so excited to read the final book in this series and what a conclusion it was! This is by far my favourite series from this author – I have loved every single word that I have read, with every turn of the page I got deeper and deeper into this exciting world that Ms. Luana has created. The author wove a beautiful tale over these books full of twists and turns and with amazing characters. I have loved reading about Wren over these books; she has been a fantastic female lead! I loved that the author introduced some new characters into the book even though it was the last one; they blended well into an already well established series. I truly have loved this series and I cannot recommend it enough – this was the perfect ending in my opinion!!@colleennoyes

If your not feeling very festive well this novel will help put you in the mood. This is the second book of the series and I was once again pulled in right from the beginning and completely hooked! I absolutely love the author’s writing style. It’s written in a way that you can visualize everything that’s going on so you feel like your there. I was captivated by the story line and was eager to turn the pages to see what was going to happen next. It had me laughing out loud at times. There’s nothing better than a novel that makes you giggle and that makes your emotions go up and down like a yo-yo. I cannot wait to read more from this author. Once again I wasn’t left disappointed!!

This is my first read by this author and I was completely blown away by this story. I was worried going in that it was book 3 in a series but I quickly realised that it could easily be read as a standalone (however I absolutely will be reading books 1 and 2!!). The author’s writing style was so engaging and I quickly found myself falling in love with her story and her characters. I was really disappointed when I got to the end because I was not ready to stop reading! I loved Alexa and Kent! From the way they met to how their relationship developed, I felt like I was hanging on their every move and every word. Alexa was such a fun character to read about – I instantly found a connection with her that continued throughout the story. I couldn’t help but love Kent even if he was a little rude at times but I knew deep down that was just a coping mechanism! I absolutely adored this story and I cannot recommend it enough!!
I really enjoyed this story; it had this great originality to it that made it really interesting to read. I quite like shifter stories and have read a few and Claiming Her Mates was definitely one of my favourites that I have read. This book is also the first that I have read by this author and I thought that she had a really engaging writing style, one that captured my attention easily and held it throughout the book. I really liked Havana and I thought that she was a strong female lead in the story. I will admit I’m not usually one for stories that involved or potentially involve multiple partners but it was different in this book and I loved how protective Liam, Mason and Gabriel were over Havana. This book has definitely paved the way for what I think will be a great series and I am definitely looking forward to seeing what happens next.

5 Stars
🙁 It’s over…I don’t want it to be over! This last part of this series was just as fresh and exciting as the first one, I never lost interest or got bored at any point during my reading of this series. I’m quite content with how it ended as far as the storyline and how this author wrapped things up, I’m just so very sad that it’s done.
I have sincerely enjoyed Katarina and Chase’s journey, it was definitely a bumpy ride and wasn’t always sunshine and rainbows. Through all the other things going on in the stories you could actually feel how their relationship was building and progressing and the push and pull just made them stronger.
This author has definitely become a favorite of mine and I was so happy to see that Jenny is getting her own story and that our possibilities of seeing Chase and Katarina again are quite high.
You truly must read this series but don’t do it out of order, trust me you need the whole story!
Loved Loved Loved it and can’t wait to re-read this in the future.

Claiming her Mates by Dia Cole a four-star read you will want to claim. This is the first novel in the Claiming her Mate’s series and it’s a paranormal shifter romance, not everyone likes the genre, but this is a very well-done example. What a story, there is drama and steam a plenty, what made it even more powerful is Vana, she could have been swallowed up by the three powerful male characters, but she isn’t, she stands toe to toe. The chemistry between the four is page melting and we hear from each of them, that just makes the story so much clearer. There was something missing overall, but I am sure that the next novel in the series will give us that little extra as we will have more of a grounding, bring on number two.

Beats of the Heart by Charli B. Rose is a four-star read that shows promise. I would have loved to have given this story five-stars and if it was all as good as the last half I so would, it took me a long time to get into as I kept feeling like I was missing something, like a prologue about how they got together would have been great. I know the blurb explained it, but I couldn’t help but feel like I could have done with it. The author had a great way with words and descriptive qualities so much so that I could almost smell the kaleidoscope roses and hear as Dawson was singing my song in bed. Notes of the Heart can’t come quickly enough, as I am sure that it will be a compelling read, this one was so great if only for the start it could have been one of the best reads of the year.

This Christmas Season I was able to find time to read the Christmas Kiss Series by Allyson R. Abbott. This series is a perfect read to get you into the season. Allyson Abbott writes the kindest stories that is a nice light reading story. I felt as though I was in the story with Kat and Ken. Kat was facing a Christmas alone, or that is what she thought. Kat found herself a new coffee shoppe and maybe the most handsome owner, Ken. She had an immediate attraction to him. She did not know if he shared this attraction with her. Ken ends up offering her a position at his coffee shoppe. Will Kat be able to hide her emotions? Will Ken hold his feelings back? Building Storm: (A Hawke Family Novel) (The Hawke Family Book 4) By: Gwyn McNamee 5 out of 5 stars
The story Building Storm: (A Hawke Family Novel) (The Hawke Family Book 4) by Gwyn McNamee is a contemporary romance book. I was thrilled when I found out about the release of the next story in this series. I have loved reading the series since the first book. This story is just one more wonderful addition. I was hooked from the very beginning and as soon as I started, I found myself glued to the pages. I truly enjoyed the dialogue and interactions between the characters and I love that characters from the previous books are brought forward into this one. I loved reading about the characters of Storm Hawke and Landon McCabe. Storm is feisty, strong-willed, and stubborn. She is also a woman who is just existing. Landon is a man that has come to New Orleans to start over. He is charming, intelligent, and kind. Reading about Storm and Landon had my emotions going up and down the entire time. They are two characters that I grew to care about with each chapter that I read. This story has moments that are sad and also ones that warmed my heart. There are times when I was turning pages to find out what happened next. This is a series that should be read in order to fully understand the plots and characters. Don’t miss out on reading Storm and Landon’s story.

Claiming Her Mates (Claiming Her Mates #1) by Dia Cole 5 out of 5 stars Claiming Her Mates is the first book in Claiming Her Mates series written by Dia Cole and the first book that I have read by this author and it won’t be the last. This author had me sitting by the seat of my pants with this great paranormal story. The characters are amazing and well written and the way she wrote the scenery was great. Havana has everyone bailing on her holiday party, she didn’t think the night could get any worse. Then three scorching hot men storm the club and demand she goes with them. Thinking they’re cops, then she finds out they are not cops, then she discovers the flu vaccine is turning people into zombies. Now her survival depends on Mason, Gabriel, and Liam, three Lyko’s shifters, who swore to protector her. She should be terrified of their glowing eyes and the way they destroy any threat in their path, but all she can think about is claiming the fierce men as my own. All three of them… Now she has one problem: Her ex has threatened to eviscerate any man who touches her. Too bad the deadly Alpha male isn’t here. He’ll rue the day he broke my heart and ordered his three gorgeous friends to rescue her.
I highly recommend this story and can’t wait for the next story in this series…..
