My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Sky to Sea (Crimson Sash Book 2) By Amanda Marin. This is the second book in this series and I really think you should read the first one to really get the story. I’m not a huge fan of this genre but I loved this book. Its the story of Neve Hall a strong, independent young woman and Micah Ward a young man that has been thru a lot. They find themselves in the New Republic and think they are home free but in reality they are having to prove themselves worthy of being citizens there. They must convince the Immigration Case Manager that they will be productive citizens to the New Republic. Neve and Micah find themselves at the center of a battle when tensions occur between the New Republic and the Nation. They are kidnapped and held hostage and until the Nation meets their demands they won’t be released and one of the demands is Micah must return! This is a wonderful book that will keep you turning the pages. Read it to find out what happens to Micah and Neve! You will love it!

Sky to Sea is the second book in the series, Crimson Sash by Amanda Marin. I would highly recommend reading the first book, North to Nara to enjoy Sky to Sea fully. Marin has created a beautiful world for the backdrop of this dystopian book. Her characters just fly off the page. This story is about Neve and Micah. They are living in a shelter for refugees as they are trying to get citizenship before they are deported back to the Nation.I have found myself flipping through the pages as I wanted to know what lies ahead for Neve and Micah. It was a roller coaster for sure. I love the twists and turns. What will happen to Neve and Micah? Will they be trapped in between the worlds or will they be able to gain citizenship to live in New Republic?

I will be the first to admit dystopian is not my go-to read genre but once I had read the first book of the Crimson Sash series I knew that I would need to know more and be back again with Amanda Marin and her fabulous collection of characters that we get to know and love in this series. These books are romance but geared to young adults so most of the romance is pg at best so that can be a nice refreshing change of pace if you read a lot of erotica or dark stuff normally.

I really enjoyed reading about Neve and Micah and really I just fell in love with them as a whole. These two are some strong young adults with old souls I felt as I was reading. They kept me engaged and I never found myself overwhelmed with made up jargon or over detailing so that is also a plus with these books. Sky to Sea was probably my most favorite yet and I honestly can’t wait to see what we will get with the next book. I will be back again for sure!

WOW!! I loved the first book of this series but I think this one was even better, I have become so emotionally invested in all of these people …I’m not normally a huge dystopian fan, and also not a huge YA fan, but let me tell you if taking YA and dystopian and throwing them together gives me this? Im sold. Throw in some awesome clean romance and I’m done.

Not sure how to explain this author’s style of writing except smooth and with feeling because I felt it all. I’ve even got the whole picture of their room, the park, everything described in this story I saw it clear in my mind. I was literally transported into the story. It was awesome!

Neve and Micah might just be 2 of my favorite characters ever. They were both just so sincere…I just can’t say enough about this whole book. Simply amazing! You truly have no idea what is going to happen or why from one page to another and I could not put it down!

This is a continuing storyline, although it may be possible to read this as a stand alone i do not recommend it and it’s so good you won’t be sorry reading them in order. It does not end in a holy moly throw your kindle kind of way, but does end where you feel like you wont make it till the next is released. Not sure what is in store for Neve and Micah but I know I’ll be one of the first in line to find out!!

LOVED IT!!

Sky to Sea by Amanda Marin is the second book in her Crimson Sash series. This is a YA fantasy series that includes sci-fi, drama, action and adventure. I was unsure about this book but gave it a chance after reading the synopsis and I can honestly say I am glad I took the chance. This book is about Neve Hall and Micah Ward who are trying to prove themselves to gain citizenship in the New Republic. Will they gain the citizenship? What does the future hold for them? The story is written great as are the characters and I recommend reading this series in orders.

OMG this author is amazing! She makes me really *feel* the emotions of these two. I am totally involved in their plight! I want them to have a hoppy ending. Just not sure that is going to happen. So every time it goes south for them…my heart plummets I am scouring my mind to see what can be fixed or changed so that doesn’t happen. Then everything just seems to go right and my heart soars! Happiness! But inevitably down… down we go again.

If you can’t tell I really empathize with these characters. The writing is so smooth I can’t believe how easy I get caught up into this story. The characters draw me in and really don’t let go. I think about them even when I’m not reading. I love these two!

This epic YA fantasy has all the marks of a hallmark series. This second book continues to explore a romance in a dystopian world that somehow resonates loudly to today and I believe will ring true to readers of all ages. Neve and Micah are strong characters that I’m thankful to have had another chance to travel through their world with. Marin does a beautiful job writing their story and I love her easy way of telling an epic tale. Loved it from start to finish.

Neve and Micah are trying to prove themselves in the New Republic so they can gain citizenship. But the best things are not always easy. The two are quickly put to the test amid the New Republic and the Nations relationship becoming explosive. I highly recommend reading the books in order to get the full story and enjoyment out of this series. This is well written and the characters are great. Sky to Sea by Amanda Marin is the is the second book in the Crimson Sash series. This series does need to be read in order to fully understand what is happening.
It had been a while since I had read book one but I found it really easy to pick up from where it left off. I soon found myself immersed back into the characters and their stories.
This book was well paced and exciting. You really have to feel for Neve and Micah. They really thought they had found the place for them to be safe and happy and instead they find themselves mixed up in more turmoil.
The author has done a great job with the continuation of this series and I can wait to see what comes next.

Sky to Sea: Crimson Sash- Book 2 by Amanda Marin is a YA dystopian romance that is filled with suspense and action, fear and longing, love and suffering. Amanda paints a vivid and clever picture of the world she has created and her character building is spot on.

Neve and Micah are learning to live a new life after escaping from the Nation. They build their lives on the hope that they will be given refugee status and are doing everything they can to make that happen. But they continue to live with the horrors and the pain and suffering they were dealt before reaching New Republic and now must seek help.

Unfortunately life is never that easy and they find themselves in danger of once again being in the clutches of the Nation.

I look forward to the next book in the series.

Sky to Sea (Crimson Sash Book 2)
By Amanda Marin
5 out of 5 stars

The story Sky to Sea (Crimson Sash Book 2) by Amanda Marin is a wonderful book that I loved reading. It is the second book in a series, and I enjoyed it just as much as the first one. It pulled me in from the beginning and I found myself lost in the story. I loved reading about Neve Hall and Micah Ward. Neve is a young woman who is intelligent, strong, and in love with Micah. Micah is a young man who has survived a lot. He is haunted by the past. When he and Neve find themselves in the New Republic, they believe that they will be safe in a land that will be wonderful to live in. What they find is different than they imagine. They find themselves having to prove that they are worthy of citizenship. Not only that they find themselves in the middle of things when tensions rise between the Republic and the Nation. What will happen to them when they are kidnapped by a group of radicals? What does the future hold for Neve and Micah? Read this book to find out. I loved Neve and Micah in the first book and loved reading about them again in the second one. I can’t help but root for them to find happiness. This book had my emotions going up and down the entire time I was reading it. The author does a wonderful job in world-building and I felt like I was right there with Micah and Neve. There are other characters that I enjoyed reading about. Some of them are helpful to Micah and Neve, others seem to have their own agenda. This is a series that I would read in order so that you fully understand the storyline. This is a book and series I would recommend reading.

Sky to Sea (Crimson Sash, #2)Sky to Sea by Amanda Marin

Sky to Sea is the second book in the Crimson Sash Series by Amanda Marin. It is YA fantasy, with dystopian elements, romance, sci-fi, action, adventure, and drama.
We met Neve Hall and Micah Ward in book one. We re-join them as their story continues. After the events in book one, Micah and Neve really had all their hopes of a happy new beginning pinned on the New Republic. But you know what they say about best laid plans. Tensions between the Republic and Nation rise, which results in Micah and Neve finding themselves right in the middle of it all. Tensions mount, while being torn between the two nations. And expected, Ms. Marin puts them to the test. What ensues is well worth the read.
This was a great continuation to the storyline, and I found it to be just as intriguing as the first book. Another beautiful cover which attracted me even before I realised what the book was. Looking forward to reading book #3.

Thank you, Ms. Marin!

This is the second book in this series, I highly suggest reading this series in order to help enrich your enjoyment. I enjoyed this book as much as the first one. In this installment we get to see Neve and Micah again but one is kidnapped and the center of conflict. San Murs has set terms but the Nation only wants one thing. The twists and turns had me turning pages fast as well as sitting on the edge of my seat just waiting to see what will happen next. I highly recommend reading this book to see what happens to Neve and Micah next.

Failure means deportation back to the Nation—and their deaths.

Eternity (Captivity Book 3)Eternity by Sarah Biglow
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Eternity is the third and concluding instalment in the Captivity series by Molly Zenk and Sarah Biglow. It is a really well developed, imaginative, and intriguing paranormal romance/urban fantasy- with shapeshifters, action, adventure, danger, drama, some dystopian elements, choices, and more obstacles.
I really recommend reading the first two books before starting on this one, because the story continues from one book into the next- so you really need to know all the important information, character details, and storyline that’s contained in the first two instalments- in order to fully appreciated this book.
It isn’t a very long book, which makes this a very quick and easy read. But even though the books are short, there is quite a lot that happens in the small space- lots of revelations are made, with action packed adventure, and our characters go through a lot in the process.
The story picks up where book two left off. Finding Sanctuary should have been the end of their saga- but our characters soon learn that there is a new threat which places ALL shifters in danger. They are once more drawn into a life and death situation. This high stakes final show down kept me avidly reading to discover how everything plays out in the end. Their relationships, and skills, are really put to the test- with a lot riding on the outcome. Will they win out in the end? And if so, at what cost?
This was a superb ending to the series! Looking forward to seeing what these two talented authors do next!

Thank you, Ms. Zenk and Ms. Biglow!

Eternity is the final book in the Captivity Series. I highly recommend you read Captivity & Sanctuary first as it gives you a real insight into the characters and also gives you the backstory. It also helps each book flow into each without you losing your way.
Once again these two authors have created another incredible addition to this series, they have made it fast-paced, action-packed and mentally visual, it also helps you really connect to the characters and their journey. I was once again totally captivated with this read from the get-go, I had to keep turning the pages to find out what could happen next, so much so it would have me on the edge of my seat, its just such a shame that its come to an end!

I’m so glad I got to experience this read and these awesome writers. I cant wait to see what else these authors have to offer! Until then I highly recommend you check out this brilliant fantasy series!

Eternity is the final book in the Captivity written by Sarah Biglow and Molly Zenk. This is a Paranormal Romance with a twist where shifters are captive in the future and what will they risk breaking free? This is a great read I loved the characters and their quirks the way they play off each other is amazing
Will one more mission to The City be the end of their freedom or will it kill them?
Aiden, Lorelei and their loved ones thought they were finally safe in Sanctuary. When they uncover a plot to put all shifters at risk, a decision must be made will they cling to their isolationist freedom or risk everything to protect their people.
Aiden is his healthiest he’s ever been and his relationship with Xander is working out great. Lorelei focus is on the baby and her relationship with Douglas. They just found out that the Booshie elite plans to poison the water supply with blood graft.
Lorelei feels as long as the deadly plot affects shifters outside of Sanctuary, she convinces herself it’s not her problem. When Douglas reminds her helping others is what the MCU stands for, will she leave their baby to join the final fight?
Can they survive the City again? Will they be-able to stop the Booshie’s plants poison the water? What will happen if they fail?
You will have to read the whole series in order to find out what happens. I highly recommend this book/series…

By: Sarah Biglow
My Rating: 5 of 5 stars

Eternity: A Paranormal Romance Novella (Captivity Book 3) by Sarah Biglow & Molly Zenk was a fast pace ending that closed out a just as equally fast pace action packed series.

This series has been one of my fave this year, it starts out on a serious note and set the stage for the action and crazy to come. As this was a short read it was over before I knew it, and as happy as I am that this series got it’s ending, I was sad to see it go.

I do hope there is more to come from this world, as I feel like there is so much more that can be explored upon. But overall this book was just as good as the others, and held that same intensity, fast moving plot, complex layers, that has made this series not only memorable but fresh and original. Just to note this is a continuation series, so you have to read the books in order. If not you won’t get the impact, or understand the layers that make up this powerhouse read.

To end, this book gets my super high recommendation and my golden stamp of approval.

Happy Reading

Eternity: A Paranormal Romance Novella (Captivity Book 3) by Sarah Biglow & Molly Zenk is the last book in this unique paranormal romance series. Our characters have just found Sanctuary but have found there is a bigger problem building that their hosts don’t want them to know. What they find out is something that will affect shifters everywhere and they know that they have to do something. Fighting what is right to stop humans from treating shifters as second class citizen and being held without their consent. To build a world where they can live in freedom and secure a future for their children.

This story is full of action and romance and is a quick and easy read. It is a book that you can get lost in and away from reality for a couple of hours.

Eternity is the last book in the Captivity Series by Sarah Biglow & Molly Zenk. Like the other two books, this book is not one to miss. Biglow and Zenk brought life to their stories. The well developed characters to a well thought out plot to keep you engaged until the end. There are some surprises and a roller coaster ride is worth the read. I would be careful because once you start you may not stop until the very end. The characters are real and they belief in the Sanctuary but will a decision they make for the good or will it be their end?

I give Eternity: A Paranormal Romance Novella (Captivity Book 3) by Sarah Biglow & Molly Zenk, 4 stars.
** This review may contain spoilers from previous books in the series. **

Lorelei, Aiden, and the group they now call their family are happy in Sanctuary. That is, until they learn of a potential plan that may have tragic results to all shifters. They meet some opposition from the other residents, but they know they cannot just stand by and let it happen. So they travel back into the city where they will have to face some of their worst fears and enemies. Will they be able to succeed or is it doomed to fail?

I have greatly enjoyed this series and this book just added to my pleasure. The book weaves a wonderful tale of love, hate, action, and the extremes some people will go to. It also does a wonderful job of tying all the books together, bringing back characters we have met in previous books, as well as introducing some new ones too. I was completely engrossed in this book and could not put it down until I was done.

If you are a fan of shifters, romance and action, this book is for you.

What an absolutely fantastic finale book. I found that the authors have such a wonderful group of characters and a refreshing plot and story. I found myself unable to put this book down. I really enjoy paranormal stories and characters. I felt as though I was there in the midst of the action.

I really found myself associating with Lorelei. She has so much to lose but so much to gain and I felt as though I was going through the emotions and drama as she was. I like how she is able to grow and move on from her past and how she is able to change the world she lives in. I really found that the authors were able to bring the plot and story to a great ending. The characters draw the readers into the drama. I really would like to read more from the authors in the future.

Again, Ms. Biglow and Ms. Zenk have used description that makes the reader see the story unfold. This was a good continuation and finale to the series. This book picks up where Sanctuary finishes. You need to read the first two before so you can fully comprehend the story. Lorelei and the gang are getting comfortable with their new life at Sanctuary when they discover a threat to all shifters. Though some want to stay safe, they decide it’s too important a threat to ignore. They set off on an adventure to try to save the world. With danger lurking around every corner, can they all survive to live another day?

Once again I enjoyed the banter between the characters. Their relationships grew and evolved with highs and lows. Love was gained and love was lost. The book was filled with action and the danger added a thrill to the story. I think this is a fitting end to the series.

The supernatural aspects of this series are fabulous. The characters are wonderful, flawed, determined, and complex. But the most important thing about this series and this book in general is that the themes and lessons can be talked about in the context of what is happening in the world right now. I know Sarah Biglow is a lawyer so I don’t think I’m over thinking this but maybe I am. I’m still going to make everyone I know read this.
