Run to the Sea (Reigning Hearts Book One) AUDIO BOOK by KG Fletcher – Review by Faith Jackson

Run to the Sea (Reigning Hearts, #1)Run to the Sea by K.G. Fletcher
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the kind of excitement I can sink my teeth into. For a hopeless romantic like me, this book hit the spot. I fell head over heels for both characters, their homestyle charm and charisma. The fact that the author took us back to their childhood touched a special place in my heart. As they enter adulthood, you’ll root for them to overcome their classism ideals. From beginning to end, this is a great story to simply fall in love with over and over again.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Starting with an action-packed sequence that grips the reader, this book doesn’t slow down. I fell in absolute love with the characters, the character’s action and the while that is this book. I was driven in immediately but by the way it all quickly gained my attention and piqued my interest as I’m sure it will for you. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed because even if this can be read as a standalone but the entire Moonlit collection is beautiful. Give it a read as a standalone or a collective.

Cemetery Tour: A Walk Through the Old Yard by Stuart Ledwith – Review by Faith Jackson

Cemetery Tour: A Walk Through the Old YardCemetery Tour: A Walk Through the Old Yard by Stuart Ledwith
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I’ve read plenty of books by Mr. Stuart Ledwith and all of his previous books have hit a special place in my heart. That has instantly made Mr. Ledwith one of my favorite authors. This book is no exception to his prior books I’ve read from this author. BUT, this book HERE, it is so endearing if that fits. I day endearing because the ghost stories he so carefully selected made me feel so thrilled. Thrilled, because, it wasn’t your run-of-the-mill ghost stories. You can you tell they all came from an open space and to share a special place in his heart. That alone, touched my heart and made my mind intrigued to read the special treasure that this book is.

Second Chance eX-mas by N.D. Jackson – Review by Faith Jackson

Second Chance eX-masSecond Chance eX-mas by N.D. Jackson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Alright, if you go down my profile on almost all of my reading pages, you’re likely to see plenty of these “second chance” stories and books. I’m a diehard fan for these. What I enjoyed about reading this one, in particular, was it reminded me of my favorite TV shows, “Boy Meets World,” because just when you thought Corey and Topanga had it figured out, there were obstacles outside their control from Shawn, to Lauren and Topanga’s parents divorcing.
The same is true for this story as it develops but keeps getting better from the hopes you believe this couple has. Except when they lose it, it leaves you just as heartbroken as Ally is over Asher. This is a powerful story of love lost, love found & reunited, Christmas fun, romance and family fun times. Beautiful, loving and story that will knock your socks off!

The Rest of Forever (Audio Tour) by Carrie Pulkinen – Review by Faith Jackson

The Rest of ForeverThe Rest of Forever by Carrie Pulkinen
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book started off on a pretty somber note considering how April’s life is pretty mundane to say the least. I found comedic relief for me in this book was more like a movie since I listened to it as opposed to reading it through audiobook. The narrator not only bought the story to life in my imagination but so did the author for me. This story is unique. It’s funny. It’s true to life (or death) depending on how you see it. I think it bought on more than a romance element but the innocence that love is especially for characters like the ones we’ve been introduced to here. WAIT, that’s not the only appealing factor in this story. What reared this story in for me was that she’s an angel in training under Damian. The fun part was the fantasy, mythical and love story all over the book. EVERYthing about this was loving, sweet, intriguing and exciting to follow.

Lies That Bind (A Logan McKenna Mystery Book 6)Lies That Bind by Valerie Davisson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I loved that this book had us traveling back and forth in time. From the times of Prohibition to 2020, we’re thrown into a murder mystery that’s unlike any other. I love that the author’s personal settings happen to be thrown into these stories as well. Logan is also balancing a private life with her professional life which we know can be tough for her. This book is multilayered in numerous ways but the author definitely gets the reader to think about a lot while indulging in a murder mystery. These kinds of stories do wonders for my memory and for a new way of thinking.

Urban Justice (A Chicago Vigilantes Novel Book 2) by India Kells – Review by Faith Jackson

Urban Justice (A Chicago Vigilantes Novel #2)Urban Justice by India Kells
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I found this book just like the first very exciting, fast-paced and steamy to say the very least. The heroine takes the reader by the horns into her world where she and her gang save the city of Chicago (or attempt to) but it’s deeper than that. Sloane and Luke’s chemistry is very heated but better together through those action-packed scenes I love as well. I won’t give too much away other than that but this is well worth the read!

These hunters are impressive with as many adventures we’ve accompanied them on. The historic references and battles the author and the characters bring us on, my heart is continuously pumping in and out of my chest in excitement. When the tables turn on this team, we see just how suspenseful this grips us by the hook especially when they’re hot on the trail internationally. When his crew falls around him, only Adam remains but he has to decide whether only on saving himself but his friends but in a battle to survive the fight of all fights. The Devil's DayThe Devil’s Day by Megan Mackie
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book was full of action from start to finish. I’ve read the previous of this series from this author and color me impressed with this last of the series. I fell in love with Rune the moment I read the first books by Megan Mackie because she’s that thrilling to read about. This book is absolutely no different. I love everything about this book from the environment and the meaning behind it for the heroine, the fact that a meaningful legacy follows our main character but her crew as well. What’s really suspenseful is when Rune prepares to defend her claim and it was very exciting to read about because her crew is very fearless. This time they’re in for a huge battle with the reader curious and excited to follow them through the trenches.

I’ve come to enjoy Mellett’s works that stem from her imagination. This is a plot-driven narrative with a blend of romanticism and love with a mix of lust. The characters seemed easy to see through your mind’s eye. Their interest gets deeper as Grumbler helps Mary with a child who is not even his own but he’s the perfect hero for the job. This is yet another favorite going into my vault from this author.
