I love stories like these where life and love collide in the most beautiful of ways. This book is no different in the way it uniquely ties it altogether. Love always prevails in the sense of imperfections, embracing love, and finding the strength to do it all again with love like these two have found. I found the story romantic, sweet, and charming.

This fast paced book swept me off my feet because the action was so intense. Suspenseful was the romantic element that kept your heart pumping just as much as the action parts. I’m so enthralled with the characters that it all made this an exciting read! This is beautiful and very enjoyable.

I fell in love with the characters more than the actual story surrounding it. That’s really odd for me to say but if you follow the flow of the way it unravels. So much of this book warms my heart in so many ways. It was almost like I was drawn to this book and it was well worth the read as it flowed easily, well written, and a whole experience!

Like books or movies of this sort, you’re unsure if you can believe what these characters are asking of one another. Upon further reading, you realize that they’re in over their head or exactly what the other needs. I enjoyed the book but feel like there should have been more effort in Caspian making up with Paisley. This book was an enjoyable read nonetheless.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

My heart bled for the main character in this book as she tried to become resilient in the face of something she’d tried to overcome but when the story unravels, this story will have a tug that’s unmatchable. The chemistry between the two characters with their history (not just towards one another) but to be willing to give love a second chance. This is truly a feel-good book to curl up with any night of the week, it will have you laughing then crying and most of all, the characters will have you beaming from ear to ear.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Though this book starts off rocky, it easily takes a turn for the better as these characters get better acquainted. I love their chemistry but hate when they try to tear into one another but love how or when they get closer. What keeps me glued to this read is the positive and warm energy that warms your heart as these characters get closer. A real page-turner as obstacles derail their experience but they always find love back with one another. These always make for the best love stories, at least for me.

Let me just start off saying I love this series but I also love the fact they all can be a standalone. From the beginning, I instantly fell in love with Scott but Zelda and their connection makes me further deepen the story that is their life. It’s exciting to be a part of each book as a read. I love how detailed the author writes but the paranormal activity that is tangled in their story makes it so intense. Haunting, but not in a spooky way: in a way that appeals to your senses. Their story will leave your heart torn up in so many directions it’s hard to know which way is up and down. What’s interesting for me is how the author writes from so many different angles hitting so many spots that leave you craving for more. I look forward to reading more and more. Bravo!

From start to finish, like the other books of this series I’ve read from the author, this book is entertaining. This book like the others had me eagerly turning the pages to figure out how Logan gets it done. The characters take shape and throw you into the mystery which makes it more fun. This story will have you craving more of the series as the other books have.

We’re still with Tyler in this third installment of a series I’ve grown to love. As an advocate for mental illness in real life (outside of being a reader), I was heartbroken at how they stigmatized Tyler. My heart also goes out to Hen as he’s dealing with a lot on his own as well: This book is what I call refreshingly honest. From that perspective, I dove right in and was gripped with all of this story and never looked back. I love this book so much I keep re-reading. Pick it up and enjoy!

Written in the Stars (Mothers and Daughters Collection) by Angela Christina Archer – Review by Faith Jackson

Written in the StarsWritten in the Stars by Angela Christina Archer
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book gripped me in so many ways as a mother I could never imagine a time like these. As both of my kids are out of wedlock and coming from a religiously strict family, this hit home as I choose to live as a mother who is single (by choice) and it’s weird to travel back in this book. I could only imagine how Betty feels as she’s left to an unruly world after her baby is given away and no idea where the child’s father is and what this means for them. Then, decades later we follow that child to discover her truth of adoption: I won’t give anything away but I loved how and where this story ended because it was meant to be written the way Ms. Angela Archer orchestrated it. Great read!

HER DARK LOVE (DARK SPELL SERIES Book 4) by ISRA SRAVENHEART – Review by Faith Jackson

Her Dark Love (Dark Spell #4)Her Dark Love by Isra Sravenheart
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I’ve read previous books by this same author in this series and I’m happy to have a backstory on Lady Isra. Through reading this one, I hate the turn it takes as these characters become enthralled in a love triangle like no other. The drama is intense and worth reading about but as the light and dark squabble over Isra, it becomes more intensifying than we thought. The fact that this sends you on a plane with her, you’ll feel shuffled but this story needs to be told if you’re invested as I was through the series. I don’t want to give it away but I’m sure you’re gonna see what I mean.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Like Cynthia Hamilton’s books of this series, this will keep you on the edge of your seat. I was consumed in this book from start to finish with two stories in one for me. The story with Russell Barnett took on a life of its own as did the other storyline with Cat Kingman. These stories within this book will keep you on the edge! Take a dive down the rabbit hole and enjoy what this has to offer. You won’t be disappointed.

HOLD ME FOREVER (HERON HARBOR Book 3) by LEA NOLAN – Review by Faith Jackson

Hold Me ForeverHold Me Forever by Lea Nolan
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I love how relatable I can see myself in Lark (the main character) but the sensational journey their love sends us down in this book will leave your heart racing but in a good way. I love the way this author returns both characters back into one another’s life with their history: The fact they’re reunited with another couple’s union is powerful in its own right. A love story within another one is great reading, to me, the sucker for romance. The chemistry within their body language described in the story speaks to exactly what draws me into these characters. Their bodies speak more than they actually do to draw them near. I have been pulling for them to rekindle and also for them to give one another a second chance. This story goes in depth on connecting these two. Pick up your copy and enjoy this read!

This book is a different kind that grabbed my attention because I’ve been through a lot just like Ripley but I wanted to see how she would overcome her suicide attempt. I even related to how she has bigger dreams but I was enthralled with how she could overcome so much. This book will take you to new heights as it pivots you into different places you’ve never dreamed of. I absolutely loved this read!

This book had me with just the title till you tune into what’s being written within the book. Once you learn to take in all the knowledge from the doctor but also apply it to your daily life. The detail-oriented lessons from life and approaching special needs is very helpful and gives the reader a better understanding for the way we treat special needs children or just special needs in general. This book is impressive and incredibly written for readers and parents alike.
