Is the second book in the series by Naomi Valkyrie this follows the events of the pervious book. This book tell a story from multiple POV and has really good character development. Naomi characters are all very unique and have their own quirks. With a multitude of fantasy creature what an what can go right or what can go wrong.

The Saint of Liars (The Lucky Devil series Book 2) by Megan Mackie. I loved this book. I don’t usually read this genre but I read the 1st book and I loved it. The 2nd installment did not disappoint. Its the story of Rune who in the 1st book was left The Lucky Devil Bar by her aunt who had recently passed. She also found out she has “powers”. After her ex husband leaves her hanging for crimes he committed and steals the files that have all her magic in them she is determined to find him and make him pay. The only problem is Rune isn’t the only one looking for this file and the people that are also looking for it will do anything to get it! Rune’s new love interest Saint Benedict is going to try to help her by telling his boss. He promises to help Rune but he wants her help in finding her ex. Can Rune trust anyone? Will she find the file before its too late! Read The Saint of Liars to find out!

I absolutely loved this book. I became completely invested when I read the first book and couldn’t wait to get my hands on this one. Xenobia feels overwhelmed and stressed. This book is filled with unexpected twists, danger, action, suspense, and so much more. As soon as I started reading I couldn’t put it down. I found myself on the edge of my seat at times. The author does an exceptional job and draws you into this complex storyline without confusing you. There are so many wonderful characters in this story, some you will love and some you won’t. It’s my advice to read the first book before diving into this one. This book is original and intriguing, you will not be disappointed. I highly recommend this book.

I loved reading the book Tompkin’s School: For The Dearly Departed (A Supernatural Academy Trilogy Book 2) by Tabi Slick. It is a story that includes mystery, danger, and suspense. It is a book that had me on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen next. I loved reading about the characters of Kain and Izara. They are finding out how their powers are more advanced than they thought. They are also finding out how hard it is to control these new abilities. Will a newcomer to the school be able to help them? Can they trust this newcomer? What is in store for Kain and Izara? Read this book to find out. The author has woven a tale that is exciting and entertaining. Each page will have you trying to figure out just what is going on. The author has also done an amazing job of making the characters come alive on the pages. Some characters are helpful to Kain and Izara and others have an agenda. Who is telling the truth and who can be trusted? This is the second book in a trilogy and the stories are best read in order. I highly recommend reading this book and series and look forward to the next book.

It Comes From Within (House Valdis Book 2) by Naomi Valkyrie is one of those stories that you start in the middle and then you get the backstory later. Like Star Wars. In this second book of the House Valdis series, we finally get a taste of Xenobia’s backstory. In the house of Valdis there is a collection of imperfect misfits misplaced souls that are living and working together just trying to have a family like situation. To be sure there is a mystery to be solved and at the center of that mystery is Xenobia’s past. This is an easy quick read that will whet your appetite for more of Xenobia’s story. Do be aware there are some alternate lifestyle themes cause, you know, different strokes for different folks. This is a good second book and I’m expecting the next one to surpass this one.

I simply loved this book and couldn’t put it down until I finished. Xenobia is back and determined to prove she’s not like previous leaders , but what will happen when blood den is found? It Comes From Within (House Valdis #2) by Naomi Valkyrie was a great 5 star read.
I was pulled right in from the beginning. This was a great storyline. There are several different characters that you meet in book one and continue into book two. We get several POV’s which also helps you connect with them as well.
Xenobia is the head of House Valdis and the main character. Xenobia is feeling the pressure of being the leader and is feeling at her wits end. Her team is trying to find a blood den, what will happen if/when they find it?
Overall this was a great read. All of the characters are strong in their own ways and added a great element to the story. This is a quick read with lots of action, romance, suspense, and so much more. You should read book one first so that you can understand the story and characters better. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series so I can see where things are going. The author does a great job of pulling you right into the story. I loved reading the book The Guard (A Soppranaturale Series Book 2) by Ashley Pagano. It is a story that includes action, danger, romance, and magical beings. It is a book that pulled me in, and I was hooked. I love the characters of Link and Ommily. They have found each other and reading about their feelings for each other made me believe in true love and soulmates. This story has suspense and I found myself turning pages wondering what was going to happen next. What will happen when evil forces rise against the Soppranaturale hotel? Read this book to find out. The author does a wonderful job in world-building and making both the storyline and the characters come to life on the pages. I enjoyed reading about the additional characters that interact with Link and Ommily. Many of them are helpful and help them take a stand against the forces that come against them. Don’t miss out on an exciting and entertaining story that you will not be able to put down until the final page. I highly recommend reading it.

This is the second book in this series which I highly suggest reading the previous book first. I enjoyed this paranormal, fantasy story just as much as the first one. This story is full of magic powers and limits are pushed. Kain and Izara are back in this story with a battle between good and evil. They are faced with a newcomer that they are not sure they should trust. They must save the school. Will they do it or will the things lurking in the dark get them first? I enjoy the twins, they are among my favorite characters. They really do make the story for me and keep me turning pages just to see what they will do next. This is a great story that I highly recommend.

It Comes From Within (House Valdis Book 2) by Naomi Valkyrie. I love this series! This is not my favorite genre but once I read the first book I couldn’t wait to read this one. This is the story of Xenobia who is still reeling from events in the first book. With trying to merge the 2 Houses and all the added responsibility Xenobia is overwhelmed to say the least. While in the process of rebuilding someone starts attacking House Valdis and its becoming more dangerous by the minute. Xenobia is finding out who her real friends are and is weeding them out as she goes. When she finds a illegal blood room and is interviewing everyone she finds out someone she trusted is not her friend. The White Queen also has Xenobia in her radar and she plans on taking her out as quick as she can so she can rule. This book is so good and keeps you turning the pages as fast as you can. I truly think you will enjoy it much more if you will read book one first. Do yourself a favor and read It Comes from Within now!

The Saint of Liars is book two in the Lucky Devil series by Megan Mackie. If you haven’t already I would recommend starting with book one.
I really enjoyed this book, having already met some of the characters in book one I found it easier to follow and, as a result, more enjoyable.
This story is jam packed from the start, and the fast pace keeps your turning pages and wanting more. The story starts back with Rune, just a few months after where book one ended. She’s having problems both magical and financial. Rune is a character that you can’t help but like and, for me, she holds the book together. Rune’s past is not a happy story and unfortunately it’s starting to catch up with her. You meet some familiar faces again in book two. Saint Benedict is back and has his own troubles. I feel for this character, but sadly I didn’t quite like him as much in book two. You also get to meet some much-needed fresh faces who help to breathe life into this story.
If you like fast-paced action-packed stories then this one is for you.

It Comes from Within is book 2 in the House Valdis series by Naomi Valkyrie. I did not read the first book, House Valdis, but I did read Xenobia. While I felt like there was a lot of background knowledge I was missing, it wasn’t detrimental to the story. I still really enjoyed it. I don’t normally read this genre, but am really glad I decided to read it. I honestly love it, and want to read more. There are a lot of characters, which was confusing at first. Some are werewolves, some vampires, etc so I had a hard time remembering who had what powers. I think reading book 1 first would have helped with that, so I recommend reading in order. The whole story line is very creative and the relationships between the characters is great. There was a sense of mystery in the book, trying to figure out who the White Queen is and the connection there. I was glad it wasn’t given away early on. There are a lot of adult themes so definitely for older readers. The story does have a cliff hanger ending so be prepared. I am anxiously awaiting the next book so I can see what happens.

A couple quick things before proceeding, if you have not read book 1, do so before reading this one as it is very helpful and you will be able to follow seamlessly into this story. Also, while this is not my chosen favorite genre, this author sure has a way to rope me right in and enjoy every word.
Xenobia is trying her best to everything needed with joining the 2 houses together and when a threat comes to be, will she be able to step up?
I really love these characters and can just picture everything that is happening.
A great read and I cannot wait for more from this author!

Another adventure into the House of Valdis world and I was not let down. I really like the whole story line and the refreshing take on the supernatural. The characters just seem to come to life as you follow the story and drama. I like how the author has a unique and refreshing take on this. There are so many books now a days that are too close to another that I really find
it refreshing to have a story line and plot that is unique and original.
I really find the characters have a very unique bond that they have formed and the group just really outlines a great base for the book. I thought that the drama really was well laid out and that the basis of the story really draw the reader in. I really like how the author is able to draw upon the Xenobia’s past and show how it has shaped her to what she has become and also the way that she has to show she is not like the old Master and has to come into her own. I really look forward to reading more into this series and see how things unfold.

Naomi Valkyrie has once again shown what an incredible author she is with this supernatural fantasy read.
This is a go-to genre for me but, this author really adds another level to it! She has created a storyline that is compelling, fast-paced and action-packed. All the while creating characters that really stand out and makes this story what it is, EPIC!
This read has got to be my favourite by far, it has to be read as part of the series for the reader to truly connect with the storyline and amazing characters. and be the incredibly captivating read that it is, but not only that you will not want to miss any detail of it!
I don’t want to give any of the story away so I’ll keep it brief, but I was once again left turning the pages wanting to find out more from these brilliant characters stories and the journeys they take along the way. Xenobia is back showing how strong, independent and totally epic she is! I loved that this book is written in various POV’s it gives you an even better understanding of the characters and helps you connect with them even more!
This book is one that you will not want to put down, its exciting, action-packed, suspenseful and epic in every way possible!
I highly recommend this read and will eagerly be awaiting the next in the series!

The Perfect Outcast by Melissa Ott Hansen

This is a very engaging story about Alina, she is a teenager with all the issues that comes with it, hormones, blemishes and imperfect teeth, but she is not as normal as she seems, she lives in a place filled with perfection and being imperfect as she is, makes her stand out in a way she does not want.
We start the journey within this book at school with Alina, in her biology class and this is where we discover where the book is based, in Pria, as well as a bit about the people living there. During this lesson we discover why Pria is known for its perfection and what this means for Alina and the other residents, as well as why Alina is different. Later on in history, more about the leader of Pria is revealed, as well as the repercussions which may happen if someone speaks about him in a less than friendly manner.
It is here that we find out more about Alina and how she is ostracised by the community she lives in, how she experiences life and how this all makes her feel. It also starts to uncover the relationships she has with those she lives with and those whom she hopes to be friends with. These relationships reveal things about herself and Pria which she never expected to hear and would never have believed if she wasn’t the imperfect being she is.
When things start to go wrong for Alina, she has to discover if perfection is all it’s cracked up to be and whether it is worth paying the price demanded for it.
The journey which Alina must now go on means that she has to discover new strengths of character which she didn’t know she possessed, as well as finding the strength to become who she is meant to be, but will all of this newness overwhelm her, or will she be able to step up and stand up for herself and those around her?

Heartbreak Rebellion by Mina Chara

Hero High is one of those series that pulls you in and the story flies by and is over before you know it! I have read each of the books and the storyline just keeps building…and I feel like there is still parts of the story that haven’t been told.
This book picks up with Friday waking up from her coma. She is thrust right back into the show with a new love interest…all while still sorting through everything that happened to her and her unresolved feelings for Ashley. Now, however, Friday is being forced into situations that make her uncomfortable, and even sick to her stomach, under the guise of increased popularity and becoming a Hero. When she is confronted with the truth of what is going on behind the scenes…and is forced to question what is real and what is made up for ratings…everything she thought she knew is not as it seems.
I enjoyed this book because, as the story progressed, Friday grew up and starting becoming more aware of conflicting way she feels about being manipulated. She still has bouts of immaturity, but she definitely grew up a lot in this book. She was forced to make tough decisions that I don’t think she would have been capable of making before this book. I hope there is more to her story because I have enjoyed watching her story evolve and if feels like it isn’t over yet!

This is book 2 in the House of Valdis and what a book.
The story continues after 6 months with Xenobia now taking over the House and running it. Surrounded by vampires and people with other supernatural gifts they need to go through all the people who followed the old boss and see who is loyal to her. The stress of trying to merge the two houses starts to take its toll on Xenobia and when a new blood den is found along with it comes a new enemy, The White Queen.
She has her eye set on taking out Xenobia and becoming the leader over the whole area.
Xenobia trys to figure out the White Queens weaknesses but at every turn the White Queen is one step ahead of her.
Can Xenobia survive the attacks and the memories that flood back to her or will her old memories be her downfall and haunt her forever.

It Comes From Within by Naomi Valkyrie a five-star read that will encapsulate you. This is number two in the House Valdis series and it’s a very complex story with lots of characters, but you will be so consumed by the writing that you will be able to keep up easily. I would definitely advise you to read number one first as this picks a little while after and continues with the story, and its difficult to put what happens into a review as there is so much I don’t want to reveal. Xen was just someone who will surprise you at every turn, but they aren’t the only character that surprised me in this one. Do yourself a favour and pick up the series.

It Comes From Within is the second book in the House Valdis series by Naomi Valkyrie. This series should be read in order to fully understand the plotline. This book takes place six months after the Rise Of the House Valdis. The story is multi layered with amazing characters. I would consider it to be Fantasy/Sci-Fi which is not a normal genre that I read, but Ms. Valkyrie really has my attention with this series. All of the characters in this book have a voice and I love how we learn more about them and thing that have shaped their lives. This author is growing with every book and I look forward to reading many more books in the future.

It Comes From Within (House Valdis Book 2) by Naomi Valkyrie is actually the third book as Naomi recently released a great prequel. This book is a fantastic paranormal fantasy story that has so much in it, action and danger, romance and let’s not forget the humour. There is so much more but I will leave it for you to read and enjoy. This complex yet compelling story is a game changer and I was so engrossed and invested in it. I had to get to the end to see how it all ended up. You need to read the other two books to get the back story of the characters. Honestly, I am ready to read it again it was so good.

This is the second novel in the House Valdis novels from Naomi Valkyrie and I have been loving every adventure filled moment reading them. I would highly recommend that you read the first book before diving into this one because you will need that story background to fully enjoy and follow the novel. One of my favorite parts of reading Valkyrie is she manages to spin a fantasy novel with detail and action that keeps me enthralled. I like the dark elements and the attention to the details that matter. Often while reading fantasy novels I get lost in the made up languages or scenarios that the world is hard for me to dive in. I do not have that problem with Valkyrie’s novels and I love it.This novel takes up six months after the first book and we find Xenobia dealing with a complex set of issues. The way this story builds upon itself makes it hard for me to review without divulging way too much of the good stuff so for the details you will have to read this one yourself. I can’t wait to see what adventures we will find Xenobia and the rest of the gang take on in the next novel!

I enjoyed this book. This is book two in this series, I highly suggest you read book one before this one. It will help your enhancement of this series and get to know where the characters come from and where they are now. This is a great second part of this story. Ommily and Link’s story picks up where they have just found each other and have been accepted into the Guard. Their journey continues as they take a stand against supernaturals rogues. Their relationship is pushed to limits they did not expect. Will the Guard come out on top or will the hotel fall? What happens to them you don’t want to miss. They bring lots of action and some romance too. It is a fast paced story and easy to read. This book made a great afternoon story and I highly recommend this book.

The story pulled me in from the very beginning and I was hooked. I loved the character of Gant. He is a young man the is intelligent, strong, and courageous. He finds himself in a journey that includes danger, magic, and find many allies along the way. He also finds those who are evil and have dark purposes will do anything for their agenda to be fulfilled. Will they succeed? What does the future hold for Gant? Read this book to find out. This is a story that had me turning pages wondering what was going to happen next. It is a book that I just couldn’t put down until the final page. Hero High: Heartbreak Rebellion by Mina Chara is the second book in the Hero High Collections. This is a brilliant collection of books that will grab your attention and simply not let go. This is books 4-6 in the series so I would definitely recommend reading the others ones first.
I think the author has done an amazing job of creating such a strong and interesting series. Each of the books are great in their own right, resulting in an overall amazing series. The characters are all so well written and you really do engage with them. It is so easy to picture them all as if you are right their alongside them.
Each of the stories in these books kept me interested for different reasons. They are clearly part of the same series but all have a slightly different feel about them. It helped to keep them separate in my mind while also keeping them cohesive and flowing well. This is a brilliant series and if you are a fan of this genre I would high recommend them!

I have to say when I first read the synopsis for this book I was intrigued, sci-fi/dystopian stories aren’t really my usual go to stories but I’ve read a few lately so I thought I would give this one a go and I really enjoyed it overall! I thought the writing was great, I was drawn in to the story quite quickly and I thought the authors writing was creative and it captured my imagination. I really liked Alina, I thought that she was a really relatable character, and I especially think young adults/teenagers would find that connection with her too. I enjoyed reading about her journey and seeing her grow as a person over the story.
A really great read and I am definitely looking forward to the next book in the series!

It Comes From Within by Naomi Valkyrie is the second book in the House Valdis series. This is an incredible book that utterly captivated me from the word go. I love reading about Xenobia. She is such a wonderful character that for me really makes the whole story come alive. I can imagine her so easily and it really feels like I am right there with her.
I would recommend reading this series in order so you can fully understand what is going on although also because they are such fantastic books. The author has written brilliantly original books that are so well developed and thought out that you won’t be able to stop reading them once you have started. There is a bit of everything in there so it really tantalises all of the sense.
I absolutely loved this book from start to finish and I am already eagerly awaiting to see what might be next – in the meantime I might have to re-read the whole series again.

The Perfect Outcast by Melissa O. Hansen is a young adult story set in a dystopian world that is different to any world you have experienced. This is an interesting story that will really get you thinking and re-evaluate what you class as “perfect”.
The description of this book caught my eye immediately. I knew I wanted to know more about this world and the supposedly imperfect Alina. From the moment I started reading I was transported into a world where things couldn’t be more different than we experience ourselves day to day.
As the story progresses you are really drawn into examining the perspective of perfect. The fact that it is done in the way the author has written it as well just makes it all the better. Although a lot of the basic themes of the book aren’t unique I thought the overall premise and the way it was written definitely was! This was a fantastic book and one I thoroughly enjoyed.

The author does a wonderful job of making both the storyline and the characters come alive on the pages. Many additional characters are in the story. Some of them are helpful and then there are those with an evil agenda. Will they be stopped? Friday is a character that I have grown to love as the read this series and I can’t help but want her to be happy. She is also a character that I could root for her to succeed in all that she does. Don’t miss out on a collection of stories that you will not want to put down until you have read the final page. I highly recommend both these stories and the entire series.
