This was such an exciting read following Leda in her young teenage years. My hurt for her at the start of the book with the bullying but I felt like she handled it well. Leda is such an amazing girl to follow. I love her character. This book was a delightful read and a change from my regular genre. I highly recommend this book as well as the other books featuring Leda.

Rockin’ It Home is the third book in Tracey Cramer-Kelly’s Lawson Family Series! Finally Ben is getting his book! If you have read the first two books in the series then you know what I mean by ‘finally’! It is a beautifully written story of second chances and new beginnings and family … Rockin’ It Home gives us Benjamin Lawson’s story – he is our recovering divorced dad who is trying to keep his visitation right to the only person he cares about, his two year old daughter, and then we get Danielle de Luca, from a true Italian family, who is his PA and his babysitter … I have always liked Ben and I was impatiently waiting for his book as I was wondering into what direction the writer would take his journey and she did it beautifully … She gave us a flawed man who feels at home only on the stage, with his music, who learns to accept his flaws and who needs to find his faith and give himself for the mistakes he has done in the past … I admire the writer for the way she is addressing the issue of addiction in a way that hit home but at the same time did not drag you down into the despair … I also loved meeting the characters from the previous two books so it truly felt like visiting family back at home! AND let’s not forget about the teaser for Carly’s book so keep your schedule open!

Prophecy Girl (Camille Bishop Book 1) I knew the world was full of crazy things but nothing would prepare me for how crazy it would get: And crazy it was. Such a good start to what I think will be a fantastic series. This story pulls you in and keeps you wanting more, each page had someone new and did not disappoint. Camille was such a likeable character she’s strong willed and fierce, she’s been through some heartache but I think that’s what makes her who she is. Without giving anything away I really think you will love this book. It’s another series I can sink my teeth into 😉 Great read, looking forward to the next.

Mountains Series Boxed Set:(Books 1-3) By Phoebe Alexander. This is the best boxed set I’ve read in a long time. The first book was just as good as the last and I wanted more! The first book is Mountains Wanted and its the beginning story of Dr. Sarah Lynde a Sociology Professor and single mom of 2 who loves Sex and doesn’t want or need a relationship. Army 1st Sergeant James McAllister never knows when or where he might be deployed so right now all he wants is a hook up not a relationship although later down the line he does want a relationship. They meet and well feelings get involved even though Sarah introduces James to poly relationships. In book 2 Mountains Climbed James is redeployed and all he can think about is Sarah even though he chose another before he left. Sarah has moved on with another man but she can’t stop thinking about James. When he gets home he just wants one more chance with Sarah. In Book 3 Mountains Loved they finally get together but her past and his own issues might keep them from working out. Deciding if they want to remain in an open or closed relationship is another Mountain they may need to climb! This is a sexy, steamy, wonderful story full of love, heartbreak, longing, friendship and hope. It will leave you wanting more! I love Phoebe Alexander and these 3 books are the perfect example as to why!

I give Red Riding Hood (Down the Rabbit Hole) Anthology, 5 stars.
This is a such a great anthology! Most of the authors were new to me, however I did recognize a few that I have read before. I was oh so pleasantly surprised that I enjoyed each and every one of them. Of course, I did have some that I like more than others, but that goes for any anthology really. Another huge plus, the variety. Even books in the same genre were different from each other. To me, that makes a fantastic book even better. The only thing each of them had in common was the theme.
The stories are well written and so entertaining — they are obviously written by some wonderful authors. If you like fairytales but want something more adult and different, I highly recommend this collection.
This book was different than any I’ve read before. Connor goes back home to bury his mother, and comes to terms he’s the only one left in his family. We see the grief, the growth and the inner feelings of Connor as he goes through the stages of going through memories and belongings of his parents. I enjoyed this book.
While I have lost my father at a young age, I only know what I should be missing, not feeling the loss of the person themselves as a whole. This was a great read
Coming Home (Flowers in December #2) by Jane Suen 4 stars
Before you read this, you must read book one, Flowers in December. This was a quick read but so much was packed into this story. This book picks up 4 months after the first at Christmas time, but doesn’t need to be read as a holiday read at all. I don’t want to say anything about this book that may become a spoiler of sorts but this is a must read. It didn’t go the way I thought it was going to and that was surprising. Can’t wait for more from this author
Second Chance (Flowers in December #3) I have read this series in order but you can read this as a standalone, but I think its best to read all 3. This book was sweet, and shows no matter what love can prevail. Im not the biggest fan of back and forth from past to present but did appreciate getting to know Mary Ann. This is the perfect ending to this trilogy, and I will look for more from this author .

Mountains Series Boxed Set: Books 1-3 by Phoebe Alexander Five Stars
Mountains Wanted is the first book in the Mountains series by Phoebe Alexander. I have to say that Phoebe is a one click author for me, and this book doesn’t disappoint. I started reading it when I got home from work on Monday evening when I looked up next it was 4:00am. It was well worth the lost sleep. The emotional roller coaster had me laughing and crying all night. I love Sarah and James, they are relatable but frustrating and always entertaining. This series is eight books long, so I just can’t wait to see what happens next. Super Excited to start Book 2!
Mountains Climbed by Phoebe Alexander
Mountains Climbed is the second book in the Mountains series by Phoebe Alexander. This series should be read in order because the books build off each other. The characters are all down to earth and relatable. This book is a continuation of Sarah and James’s story. James has made his choice and Sarah is moving on with Garrett, but will they be able to stay apart? Phoebe is one of my go to authors, and this series is no different. The story has all the feels, and will take you on an emotional roller coaster. I can’t wait to read book three.

5 Star Mountains Series Boxed Set:(Books 1-3) By Phoebe Alexander I’ve loved every book in this series. Pheobe Alexander is my go to Author, I’ve never read anything from her that I haven’t truly enjoyed reading. This series of books are about Sarah and James and all the struggles they have had along the way. These three books had my emotions in overdrive ,I found myself rooting for them, and hoping for a HEA for them. One of the many things I like about this Author is her style of writing and her attention to detail the stories always flow so nicely Her characters are very well developed and strong relatable. I could go on and on but I’ll stop. I just can’t recommend this Boxset or this Author enough.

Out of The Shadows by Theresa Sederholt 5 out of 5 Stars Dane Johnson, a man so broken by the secret he is holding that it is tearing him apart. Warning that this book may trigger some people who are sensitive to acts of violence, both mentally and on some base, physically, so If you are more tenderhearted than others, this book may be a bit much for you, so tread carefully. Having said all of that, this book is beautifully written from Dane’s point of view. While not wanting to give you too much of what happens, this story is so heartbreaking, so emotionally charged, and so devastating that you are both crying and cheering for Dane at the same time. I feel that I am a better person for reading this book. I highly recommend this book for lovers of all book genres.

How Could I Forget by N.D. Jackson is the first book in the Plentiful in Love series. This book is absolutely wonderful, with amazing characters! I loved Dan and Kayla. They were definitely made for each other. I was instantly drawn into their lives and loved watching the journey they go through. I loved the connection they have. This is definitely a well written book and one that I very much enjoyed.

This was a great story. The heroine Ruby was a nice normal person feelings and problems. This story was great for anyone who has a physical or emotional problem because it gives the hope that love is possible. Autumn Sand wrote a lovely story and she has a bright future. I look forward to reading more. The other stories in this anthology are good as well. Some of them are not for the faint of heart. Read and enjoy

I love fairytales! The interesting thing about this anthology is that the authors wrote about Little Red Riding Hood but put their own twists on the story. Each is a love story varying from tame to XXX. There is something for everyone.
Ruby – Autumn Sand
I loved this story! Ruby lost a part of herself and then her husband left her. Her self confidence was at an all time low then Mr. Wolf came into her life and made her feel whole again. The author did an excellent job of expressing how Ruby felt. I went through a range of emotions as if I went through it myself.
Cloaked – Lia Fairchild
This story was a little more cloak and dagger. After Eva’s parents were murdered, she stayed under the radar for years searching for her grandfather. Tracking him down put her life in danger. She meets Luke and the chemistry is instantaneous. Can Luke be her saviour or will he be her downfall? The story is filled with danger, drama and love.
The Wolves Den – Laci Page
This was another favorite of mine. This story was so hot, it was sizzling. You step into the world of BDSM. Marissa likes things a little kinky and her friend sets her up on a blind date. It’s a costume/ BDSM party. She’s not sure until she meets her drool worth date. Dressed as Little Red Riding Hood and armed with her safeword, Marissa is ready. What happens next is the sexiest, mind blowing, orgasmic experience of her life. A must read!
Out Of The Shadows by Theresa Sederholt was a super emotional read. Unlike anything I have leaped into before. My heart felt for Dane and Brady. It was a shock to read the situation from a man’s point of view, definitely something under represented. I was torn between stopping for emotional breaks and also just reading straight in one sitting.

I’m seriously about out of words to use to review this author and this series. I love Crystal Rock, Wisc. and I want to live there!! It helps that Wisconsin is home to me and I want to move back there so badly, so reading all of these books is completely comforting to me. Even when they are filled with suspense and danger and edge of your seat kind of words, reading another is like coming home.
This can absolutely be read as a standalone, but there is so much that comes before and the return of so many characters scattered throughout makes it so worth reading the whole series, actually a couple different series that revolves around this town and these amazing people.
This one is full of danger and I love how there was no insta love between Ben and Samantha, with everything going on their growing connection felt even more real.
I love this series, and the writing style and imagination of this author is unmatched for these types of stories.
OMG this story wrecked me emotionally. Dane is a 30 something year old man who is keeping a secret in hopes of protecting himself and his 13 year old son. One night changes everything and now everyone is going to know the secret he has been keeping, but that’s not even his biggest worry, he might lose his son. This story gripped me from the start. The author did an exceptional job writing this story and opening my eyes to a new perspective. This book touched my heart and in a way that I don’t have words to express. I am just going to say this is a 5 star read and I highly recommend this story.

I highly enjoyed this novel I just couldn’t put it down. I love how it was a sweet romance but with a little drama, music and so much more. I mean I’m a sucker for a romance story but with the music too well I’m in love! I was highly addicted to this storyline and I couldn’t pull my eyes away it is a story I could read again and reccomend to others.

I really enjoyed this fun, steamy romance by N.D.Jackson. ‘How Could I Forget’, features Kayla and Danny who come together for a passionate one night stand on the eve of their graduation, the chemistry between them is off the charts and they share a night of steamy sex before going their separate ways in the morning, with no regrets. However fast forwarding to the present day and we learn that for Kayla that one night of passion in college had lasting consequences in twins, Daniela (Dani) and Tobin. However Dan never forgot that one amazing night he shared with the beautiful, bubbly, and who he had presumed was out of his league, Kayla either and he has looked for her over the years with no success. Then by chance he finds her living in Plentiful literally two doors away from him but it’s not just Kayla he finds but he discovers he is a father of twins. Having met again both their life’s change forever but can they make a future based on one night long ago? I was hooked from page one of this book and I loved the two main characters, bubbly outgoing and sociable Kayla and geeky but handsome Dan who is adorably shy and inexperienced in the bedroom. I liked how the author had Kayla as the more sexually experienced of the two rather than the norm in books of it being the man. The storyline is unoriginal but has enough twists in it to be unpredictable and the way the author makes the characters so likeable and realistic sends you on an emotional rollercoaster as the two try to work out their feelings and their future either together or apart. It has both romantic and steamy parts, which work within the storyline. A fun romantic second chance novel which I loved and I look forward to more books in the ‘Plentiful in Love’ series.

The Mountains series by Phoebe Alexander was a great series! Very raunchy, if you’re not open to some certain ideas you might not like this series as much. Very steamy and very romantic as well. I absolutely loved the story line, even though I felt much of it was too much back and forth between Sarah and James. The writing is great with incredible imagery, and I absolutely loved all the characters! The series made me laugh and cry several times, I won’t lie. The second book is my favorite one, although I immensely enjoyed all 3. These definitely read better in order though. I highly recommend this series!

Red Riding Hood (Down the Rabbit Hole) is a multi-genre anthology with stories which are either from the romance, erotica and BDSM, fantasy and paranormal romance or horror genre by 12 different favourite authors. Each short story is a retelling of Red Riding Hood, as has never been told before! I particularly liked the first story in the book, Ruby by Autumn Sand, in this romance story Ruby who is currently in the middle of finalising her divorce to her younger husband who has run off with a women who is more his age and who is pregnant meets the ‘Wolf of Europe’. Count Edric Moreau of Paris, is a notorious handsome ‘rake’ known to seduce wealthy men’s wife’s but has also taken over as chairman of an important organisation and Ruby is tasked with interviewing him for Vogue. Still recovering from breast cancer, chemotherapy and a mastectomy whilst waiting for reconstructive surgery, Ruby is feeling bruised and low in self esteem and so she is keeping it strictly professional but Edric has more romantic plans in mind. I loved this story, which had great characters and a lovely storyline. The other story which stood out was by Lia Fairchild, Cloaked. Also a romance which features Eva Chacon, however she is calling herself Vanessa as she is working in Oakdale, a senior living facility and is looking for her grandfather who is also going by a different name. Whilst at the facility she meets Luke and the two date although Vanessa remains suspicious as per her Aunt Nora’s teachings. We learn that Vanessa is in fact part of a known crime family and is living undercover as she is at risk from a rival family. This is a fast paced story which is part romance and part thriller, sadly Luke is also not who he appears to be and it leads to a dramatic conclusion, but do Eva and Luke end up together, no spoilers! Other stories which stood out were Darlene Tallman’s fantasy and paranormal story, Little Red’s where a young girl meets her sexy new boss but after a violent encounter at a bar brawl she soon learns that wolf shifters are very real and that ‘mates’ are for life. D.A.Stein’s, Redd’s wolves is an exciting reverse harem retelling of Little Red Riding Hood featuring an innocent girl living with her Granny in the woods, three sexy wolf shifters and a motorcycle gang, all of which kept me turning the pages. I enjoyed this anthology of short stories as each one was very different making this an exciting book as a whole. Each story although short was packed full of great characters, adventure, and interesting plot lines. I have been introduced to new authors and enjoyed stories from ones I already love, I recommend this book as a good read.

Summer Princess (Dark Fae Book 1) by Sloane Murphy. Wow, I loved it! I was gripped from the beginning. Sloane Murphy brought a mix of darkness and true fantasy, you get drawn into the fantasy Fae world, it will keep you on the edge of your seat. Each character is has there own personality and perfectly written. I am so glad this is the start of a new series I get to enjoy in the future. Definitely a Five star read, I urge you to give it a go.

The story Prophecy Girl (Camille Bishop Book 1) by Ravin Tija Maurice is a paranormal/fantasy book. It is a story that pulled me in and had me turning pages to find out what was going to happen next. I enjoyed reading about the main character and how their life is turned upside down just by taking a case. The main character is a private investigator and just received their first solo assignment. The client is Jane Lowry. What should have been a simple assignment turns into something more. Read this book to find out how it turns out. The story is one that I didn’t want to put down. It takes you on a journey that is unexpected and has some twists that I didn’t see coming. I also enjoyed many of the secondary characters that are introduced. Many of them help the main character. Others have their own agenda and I wondered if their plans would succeed. The story has a bit of romance and takes you on a journey that you will not soon forget. The author did a wonderful just in making me feel like I was right there with the characters. I would highly recommend reading this book.

This is a wonderfully delightful story. The story takes you on a ride through the life of a dive bar. We see wild decor, crazy workers and fun patrons. There are French words and French guys. It covers life and death and a Yorkie with a literary name. I enjoyed all of this and more! I struggled to put this down and was awestruck by the “Red Wine Guy”. I loved the learning and growing period each of these characters went through. They are equal parts wisdom filled and emotion filled.
This is a first time author for me. I really enjoyed the heck out of this book. The words flowed and while I had some trouble with the French words..I liked the addition of English to make me understand. The characters are warm and inviting. I look forward to more from this author. I see Dylan gets his chance next. I really feel like he deserves it and more.

I enjoyed watching every story unfold in different ways in a unique perspective of the Red Riding Hood. Each story has its own twists full of mystery or romance or unexpected twists and turns leaving you clinging for an unpredictable ride down the rabbit hole. Reading these are worth the read to keep you entertained for chapters and chapters of fun. Pick up this book and you might re-read it just for the hell of it.
Forget Nico is a coming of age love story of Leda, a tom boyish girl who is desperately in love with a cool boy at school. I did not know that the story is not the first in the series, so it took me a while to adjust to the pace of the book and the characters. The book predominantly deals with all the elements of adolescence, crushes, embarrassments, successes and failures. The teens think they have figured it out all, but how they react to everything happening around them and their imperfections is very insightful. This is typically recommended for teenagers, who read books of the type of Adrian Mole. The use of Italian words in the expression and conversation adds a flavor to the book. It’s a very fast read, but though they say this book is a standalone. I felt this book picks up from it’s prequels. The personality of the lead character is already well established, and this book defines her loyalty to someone whom she had liked a lot, and now he is in trouble and she is struggling with her emotions to believe it or not. Overall, a fast pace light read !

Red Riding Hood (Down the rabbit hole) Anthology this book is made up of stories from 12 different authors. Book read- Ruby by Autumn Sands this is a 3.5 star read. Ruby is a writer and six years ago married the love of her life, a man who was 20 years younger than her. Now Ruby has fought breast cancer and won, she is now waiting on reconstruction, but her marriage is heading for divorce, her husband has left her for another woman who is pregnant with his child. Count Eric Moreau has recently lost his father and his brother so instead of living his life the way he planned he is now head of Moreau International. He also has the nickname the Wolf of Europe because of his reputation. These two people meet and although there shouldn’t be anything there there is a connection. This was a short story it had a great ending but I wished it was longer.

What a great collection of stories all retelling the story of Red Riding Hood.
One of my favourites is by Autumn Sand. Her story follows a woman called Ruby who finds out her husband is leaving her for another woman while she is battling cancer.
With her husband gone she feels worthless and unattractive after having surgery to remove her breasts but how wrong she is.
Someone has their eyes on her and will stop at nothing to get her. With big eyes and big teeth the Wolf for Europe is ready to devour her and bring her back to life
Two Hearts Unlikely Heroes (Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Romance Book 9) by Tamara Ferguson is another amazing story in the Wounded Warrior Romance series and her characters are written to be loved. I always find myself getting lost in the heroes and heroines and each leaves a lasting impression and steal your heart. If it is a story that Tamara has written I know I am always in safe hands and will absolutely love the story because she is a great storyteller.
Samantha has served her country and is now coming to terms and peace with the injury she endured to the point she is ready for more but what she didn’t know was that a certain Captain Ben Nash would be part of that more.
Ben is undercover and waiting for the full details to come to light but in the process, he finds the one person he has been looking for and will stop at nothing to her protector.
As always, I look forward to what Tamara gives us next.

I love a well rounded story. A story that will have you laughing, ready to cry or throw your phone. The characters balanced each other. They gave polish to the others flaws. There’s no way you could walk away from this story not feeling satisfied. I loved the support they shared. The characters were strong, caring, giving and vulnerable. I couldn’t put this one away. I really enjoyed the quirky moments. Due to Dan’s personality there was some very memorable moments. I loved how the author gave Dan a softer disposition. The author keeps you engaged with the flow of the story. I had a few misty eye moments. To think that the one you want and can’t forget could be a few steps away and you never know it. Definitely grab this one for your collection.

This is a really good book. You get to see James and Sarah fight for what they want. They continue to climb toward the ultimate goal. A forever kind of HEA. I wish the past would stay in the past. Life gets complicated enough without the past coming to the front of your mind. It takes some strong willed people to overcome the same fears being in a polygamous relationship. Family can be the biggest pain the bottom or support you 100% of the time. The future for this couple is unknown but I think they would prefer to do what ever it is together. I like this author the stories always fee real and authentic. I definitely recommend you check this series out you will not be disappointed.
