My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Holiday Terminal: (A Second Chance Secret Baby Billionaire Holiday Romance) by Gwyn McNamee & Christy Anderson is sooooooo, so good. It is one story that although a quick read, packs a punch and I got thoroughly lost in. This sweet and amazing tale had my heartstrings pulling and emotions all over the place. It is a wonderful Christmas story that is romantic and full of love and frustrations, drama and lies, angst and pain. What a team these ladies make! I enjoy their work separately but together they are an IT team. OMG I just fell in love with these characters who stole my heart.

Penelope finds herself stuck in the middle of nowhere when a storm diverts their plane BUT what she never imaged to find there was the one person who had her heart, mind and soul and left her broken but with a beautiful surprise. It is that very surprise she does not want him to find.

Artemis comes from a very wealthy family who dictate everything in his life. However, his heart was left behind with a beautiful woman he loved with his entire being. He finds himself in a town in the middle of who knows where and the one person he thought he would never see again walks back in his life. Unfortunately he finds that she has kept something from him and that is the one thing he may never forgive her for.

There is so much pain in this beautiful story but it is worth every second becoming invested in these wonderful characters and the world the IT team has created. This was an amazing journey and I can’t wait for more.

While Christy Anderson is a new author for me, writing a book with one of my go-to authors Gwyn McNamee was a must! Holiday Terminal was an amazing captivating read of two people destined to find each other and have a second chance.
This one gave you all the feels you need for an amazing all-rounder book! Its had angst, passion, drama, romance, heartbreak but all in all it was the perfect read from start till finish. I couldn’t put this read down, I read it on one sitting and fell in love with both Artemis & Penelope each in their own way but also the journey that they take, in the short amount of time.

You couldn’t help but absolutely feel so much emotion with what these two went through you just kept wishing they would overcome their past, a secret and actually talk and realise the thing that brought them together many years before was still the main thing that both of them still felt!

There is not a single thing I could say that I didn’t love about this book, other than I didn’t want it to ever end! I can’t wait to experience more from these two incredible authors I’ll be eagerly awaiting Holiday Bridal Wave.

Holiday Terminal is a beautiful opening to the holiday season by Gwyn McNamee and Christy Anderson. It is a Hallmark worthy second chances Christmas story that leaves you feeling warm and fuzzy! I have read Gwyn McNamee writing before but it was my first encounter with Christy Anderson and I was not disappointed!
Holiday Terminal gives us the reunion of Artemis Warren and Penelope Barnes who are thrown together in the middle of Nowhere for Christmas and I am sure that at first neither of them really considered it to be a Christmas present but the fate has decided to step in and who are we mere mortals to fight against what is to happen … of course it should not be an easy ride so buckle in for a Christmas ride filled with Christmas spirit with a Christmas miracle peaking round the corner!

“ “Artemis Warren. Please head over to the office.” I freeze. No. The cup slips from my hand. The Styrofoam hits the ground, and scalding-hot liquid splashes against my bare legs. I hardly feel the burn. It can’t be. Not here……I scan the rest of the terminal. Maybe I misheard. It couldn’t be him. Fate wouldn’t toy with me like that. Right?”

“It was instant. Even as a teenager, barely out of high school, I knew I would love him. I knew it was something bigger than me. Bigger than him. Us. It was too big. Too powerful. Too damn much for a kid to think that way, feel that way. But I let it overtake me with every shy glance we shared. Every smile. Every touch. I knew it would be something epic. A fairy tale. One I would hold in my heart forever. And damn if I wasn’t right. I just never imagined it would come to such a catastrophic end.”

OMG! First of all, this book is sooooooo freaking goooood! It needs to be made into a movie so I can watch it over and over again, especially leading up to Christmas!!! I have already read it 3 times and will probably re-read it many more times in the next few weeks. I am a sucker for a great Christmas/holiday story- especially one that grabs you by the heart-strings. This one gave me all the emotional content that I love so much, tugging on my heart-strings, giving me that ‘feel-good’ experience at the end, where I sat back with a big smile on my face, because I am so happy to have this book in my life.
Holiday terminal by Gwyn McNamee and Christy Anderson is a wonderful holiday romance- with a massive snowstorm, a small airport in the middle of nowhere, a twist of fate, some drama, angst, push-pull, surprises, steam, emotion, and second chances. I am a huge fan of both these authors individually, and both are on my favourite authors list- so when they decide to collaborate on a book- I AM ALL IN!!! No questions asked. #TAKEMYMONEY #ONECLICK #WINNING
Now after reading this story, I am soooo impressed by what they have produced- but I really shouldn’t have been surprised- because DUH, it’s Gwyn McNamee and Christy Anderson- both such excellent authors- and I should have known that anything these two talented writers came up with would be brilliant. I was hooked right from the start- this story is my crack- totally addictive- and it’s one addiction this junkie is happy to feed.
The story takes place in a tiny airport terminal in the middle of nowhere, when a twist of fate throws two ex-lovers together in the snowstorm of the century. Past hurts are never far from the surface- but neither is their electrifying chemistry. But, with their past pain, miscommunication, and a bug secret- will these two find their second chance, or will this twist of fate bring even more heartache.
I LOVED Art and Pen, so so so much! Thant’s not to say there weren’t a few moments where I wanted to shake them. Their miscommunication drove me crazy. And I found myself yelling a t them several times through the story. They are perfect for each other. I really can’t wait to read Archie’s story- I really NEED it STAT! Like yesterday!!!
So, what are you waiting for- seriously, if you love a fantastic holiday romance, an emotive- well written story, and wonderful characters- then this is definitely one book you won’t want to miss. And if this book is outside of your preferred reading, why not take a chance and dive in- you may be surprised by how much you like it too! There really is so much to love about this book!

Thank you, Gwyn McNamee & Christy Anderson!!!

Supernatural Love Stories in the Absurd: Four Book CollectionSupernatural Love Stories in the Absurd: Four Book Collection by D.P. Payne
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is an absolutely must read collection for any PNR fan! As I’ve come to expect from anything I have ready by this author, these stories are so unique and well written, you definitely won’t want to put this book down! D.P. Payne makes you want to believe in the supernatural!

Parched is the story about a man who was so greedy, he was cursed to be a wendigo for all eternity and hunt down other greedy souls and feed from them as punishment for his evil ways. When he comes across a completely black aura, what could it possibly mean? Who could this woman be? What could she be so greedy for that her aura would be this dark? Prepare yourself for a hot and steamy, panty melting story as you find out these answers!

Cursed is the story of an Egyptian pharaoh and a modern day archeologist who have three days to break a 4000 year old curse. This kind of makes me want to change professions! How else am I ever going to meet a man like Wyre???

Spirited is probably my favorite out of the four stories in this book! It’s pretty much my lifelong dream to by old plantation homes and restore them to their former glory! And throw in a few ghosts and a super hot love story??? Yep, dream come true! Margot and Blake stole my heart in this one!

Loched is definitely the coolest of all! The mystery of the Loch ness monster has been solved! At least I’d like to think so after reading this one!

Each of these stories is unique and different. You get a bit of heat, a bit of romance, and a whole realm of emotions as you read through them! I fell in love with all of these characters and highly recommend this collection!

Holiday Terminal was a great 5-star second chance romance.

I really enjoyed Penelope and Artemis’s story. These two find themselves in the middle of nowhere at a very small airport on Christmas. Due to a snowstorm both of their flights had to do an emergency landing and of course fate stepped in and brought them together again after 5 years.

Penelope is shocked to see Artemis, the old feelings come back and she goes back to the last time they saw each other. Her heart was shattered and he walked away. She also is afraid that he will discover her secret. What will happen when the secret comes out?

Artemis and Penelope start to realize that they both had made mistakes the last time they talked. There was a misunderstanding that changed their lives. Can they finally have what they wanted so badly or will Aremis’s family step in?

Overall I really enjoyed this read. All of the secondary characters were great. I can’t wait to read more from this series. 1-click and get started today on this great read.

Christmas Eve plans change when a snow storm causes Penelope, to get stranded at an airport.

Luck doesn’t appear on her side when she runs into Artemis at the same airport who is also stranded.

Can the man that broke her heart, proof that he only has ever loved her?

I generally stay away from holiday romance book but I couldn’t say no when I read the premise. This was a cute story about second chances.

I absolutely loved reading this group of stories. There are supernatural creatures, mystery, and romance. The book has steamy moments that will make the temperature in the room rise. These stories pulled me in and had me turning pages to find out what happened next. I enjoyed reading about the characters that are introduced. Their personalities make it seem like they jump off the page. Each story will take you on a journey. Each one will have you hooked. I love stories about Egypt, pharaohs, and archeologists so Cursed is a wonderful story. The other stories are just as wonderful as you meet a wendigo, a ghost, and a legend. I highly recommend these stories and you will not be disappointed reading them.

The story Holiday Terminal is a wonderful book to read. It pulled me in from the beginning and didn’t let me go until the final page. I loved reading about the characters of Penelope and Artemis. Both have landed at a small airport because of the weather. She thought that he was only part of her past. He is going home to make a statement that has been a long time coming. Once they see each other the memories come back. What does the future hold for Penelope and Artemis? Will they give each other a second chance? Can Artemis convince Penelope that she is the only woman he has ever loved? Read this book to find out. The authors do a wonderful job of making the character likable and believable. The story does have a bit of romance as well as times of conflict. This second chance romance is set at Christmas time. The perfect time for joy and happiness. Will Penelope and Artemis listen to their hearts and make this Christmas one they will always remember? Don’t miss out on a book that will have you hooked from the beginning to the very end. I highly recommend it.

DP Payne is one of those must read authors, especially when it comes down to PNR. I had read a few of the Supernatural Love stories prior to this box set being released and I am so glad that I got the chance to scoop them all up in one neat package to devour at my own pace and time. I also adore box sets when they are from my favorite series and authors because it makes the ability to gift them to family and friends and spread that author love. Each book could be read in whichever order and at your discretion but I read them as they were arranged and loved every moment of it. The option to bounce around is there as long as you read them all, because they are too good to pass up. Ill give you a touch on each book but these really should just be scooped right up and devoured. You won’t regret it once you do. I look forward to finding out what else we will get from DP Payne in the near future! I am sure it will be wonderful!

~Parched~
This scooped my heart up and crushed it, then proceeded to put it all back together in a way I never knew I needed. Yes this has it all and dives into the greedy, dirty, sexy parts of life. Each of the characters shined in their own way and complemented the story perfectly grasped my attention for the next awaited book. There is 4000 plus years of angst packed into this short and sweet love story that will give you a taste of the dark paranormal as well. All around a five star read on its own.

~Cursed~
We get a bit more time travel with this one and of course some more of that paranormal and dark twisty love that we love reading from DP Payne. I was so excited to see the woman heroine shine in this novel and it made for some funny parts as she stood her ground. The names caught me up a tad in this book, simply because I am a fast reader and sometimes I found the flow thrown off with trying to make sure I got the name to sound right in my head. All a personal preference though so this book comes in at a strong four stars. Not my favorite of the group but I still loved it nonetheless. A very mummy like trip that I really was happy to have had the chance to read. I am so ready to get my hands on Spirited though!

~Spirited~
Margot and Blake steal the story with Spirited, and the favorite spot for me with this series. I adored Margot, in fact she reminds me of myself in some ways for sure. I can be a bit of a smartyalec and she is the epitome of one. I found myself high-fiving and cheering her on a few spots. I really loved her lol. I also enjoyed the setting of New Orleans, it really shined in the novel and took me away. Blake was a blast to follow as well and I really just overall enjoyed this book! Murder, laughter, dark and magical feelings, and of course the heat of romance all combine to make this one shine the brightest of them all!

Each of these books are different yet alike, something I really enjoyed and even more so was something that broke up the monotony of reading that I sometimes find myself in. I can’t wait to share this with some friends and reread them for myself in the near future! Hope to see more of these box sets as well!

I loved this story but who doesn’t love a holiday story that will warm your heart. This is a great holiday story about second chance romance. This is a well written story by two great authors that have created strong, connectable characters as well as make you feel part of the story. Penelope and Artemis never expected to see each other at the airport, least of all be stranded together there. Will they be able to rekindle what they once had? Parched:
This story puts an interesting twist on the legend of the Wendigo. A man cursed to be a wendigo meets a woman with insatiable sexual needs. An extremely sexy love story. These pages are sizzling hot!

Cursed:
An archeologist stumbles upon a tomb of a cursed pharaoh. He awakens every thirty four years and as luck would have it, he wakes when she enters. With three days alive, can these two break the curse placed upon him four thousand years ago?

Spirited:
Unknowingly a contractor buys a haunted house to renovate. Unfortunately, falling in love with a ghost can really put a kink in your relationship. These two need to come up with some drastic measures if their love can survive the barriers of death.

Loched:
This was an interesting twist to the myth of the Loch Ness Monster. Lore, myth and magic meld together to bring this wonderful story to life. Man or monster, can he be both?

Four books filled with love, laughter and a multitude of sexiness. Definitely a must read!

PENELOPE

Swirling snow may have stranded me at this tiny airport in the middle of nowhere on Christmas Eve, but it has nothing on the storm raging inside me when he walks into the terminal.

Artemis Warren.

My first love and the man who shattered my world.

I thought I locked my feelings for him safely away in the past, but one look is all it takes for me to drown in his icy blue eyes again.

So much time has passed.

I’m no longer that naïve teenager standing on a beach, wishing the boy would choose me.

Now, I’m hiding a secret that could unravel both our lives.

ARTEMIS

The emergency landing in Nowheresville is more than an inconvenience.

It’s a disaster.

The annual family holiday party in NYC was my chance to make the statement I’ve been dreaming of for so long.

Now, all my best laid plans will have to wait until I can get out of here and back to civilization.

Nothing can salvage this day.

Yet seeing Penelope Barnes again turns this bad situation into the opportunity of a lifetime.

Reuniting with the only woman I’ve ever loved would be the ultimate Christmas gift.

But how can I heal the old wounds and fit into the new life she created?

When temperatures drop and snowflakes fly, can love find a way to weather the storm for the ultimate Christmas miracle?

Supernatural Love Stories in the Absurd: Four Book CollectionSupernatural Love Stories in the Absurd: Four Book Collection by D.P. Payne
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Supernatural Love Stories in the Absurd: Four Book Collection by D.P. Payne is a set of paranormal stories that are each unique and different from other stories. Each one is steamy and the finding of true love. I love the way DP used characters that are less shared in stories such as a Wendigo, a Pharaoh, a ghost and the Loch Ness monster. It also didn’t hurt that three of them where sexy men and one sexy woman.

Parched is the story of one greedy man who due to his greed was turned into a monster but could all that change, when he stumbles upon one strange enigma?

Cursed is the story of one woman obsessed with one man who was a Pharaoh but little was known about him. When she attends a dig in Egypt she uncovers the truth behind the man and maybe help break the curse.

Spirited is the story of a haunted house where the new owner gets up close and personal with the residing ghost. When she becomes more to him, he sets out to find a way for them to be together but what will the cost be?

Loched is the story of a little girl who knew there was more to the myth of the Loch Ness monster. After years away she returns and sets out to find the truth of the monster that no one else knows like her. But when she learns the truth behind the two families could all that she wants, be taken before it really began?

I enjoyed each and every story and the uniqueness of each tale. I can’t wait to see what comes next.

Supernatural Love Stories in the Absurd is 4 books in one box set and I thought they were great. There is alot of adventure and intrigue brought out in these stories and they have a great amount of steamyness. I was pulled in from the very first page and each of these stories kept me interested and I couldn’t put them down. They’re all about finding love in different ways and the supernatural elements I am all for! I love me some PNR! It’s hard to pick my favorite book in this boxset because they all has something different and it was a great set to pass the time with! I am looking forward to reading more in the future by this author and I would recommend this to anyone that loves PNR reads!

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Supernatural Love Stories in the Absurd: Four Book Collection by D.P. Payne was certainly some unique little tales. Very easy to read, and each one a very different story. Romance and really weird happenings is the common thread here. My favorites were Spirited and Loched. In Spirited the enchanting Margot has been haunting her last place of employment for more than a hundred years. When Blake buys the house to renovate it, he gets a lot more than he bargained for. There is some sexual situations that some may find offensive, but all these little stories are quite unique with new little twists on some old legends.

5-Stars

Supernatural Love Stories in the Absurd: Four Book Collection by Gwyn McNamee writing as D.P. Payne was an excellent collection of various types of romantic supernatural love stories. These different stories were addictive and I was hooked at the start of each one. Each one had magnificent characters and fun settings. The author’s creativity really shines through with these stories.

My favorite story was the one titled Loched. It features the Lochness monster and had amazing scenery. The characters Bryce, Ainsley, and Ewan were wonderful. It definitely featured a whirlwind Romance tied into an event from long ago that brought on a curse.

I absolutely loved this group of books. I feel it would appeal to a varied audience. I highly recommend it!

Supernatural Love Stories in the Absurd: Four Book Collection by Gwyn McNamee writing as D.P. Payne was a completely unexpected read. I would definitely give this series a four out of five stars. There are four different stories in this book and each one less expected than than the last. The consistency in the tone and steam factor definitely keep you turning pages. The tone comes off as redemption and the plot centers on learning and growing. The steam factor is off the scale, if you are looking for a hot read here they are!

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

“The first thing you need to understand is there are powers and forces in this world most humans don’t know about or or believe in.”

This is a terrific set of stories. Each story is about the size of a novella and features a different set of main characters. The common thread that ties them together – supernatural love and super hot sex.

I was able to all four books in one night.

I absolutely recommend this boxed set.
