Cruel Start (Hidden Valley Elite) by Isla Vaughn – Review by Hannah Porter

Cruel Start (Hidden Valley Elite #4.5)Cruel Start by Isla Vaughn
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Cruel start was a short but truly amazing beginning for the Aspen and Phoenix story. This is the prequel to the next two both which will revolve around the two.😭😭😭 It makes me so sad to have to wait for the next 2 books in this series. I need to know what happens between them now 🤣😭. I’m also looking forward to seeing all the complex characters again and what role they play in these next books. Hopefully they help out and not make things worse 😂. I hope Aspen and Phoenix can work it out for the little one or ones lmao you know twins run in the family lmao

This is the 4th book of the hidden Valley Elite Series if you haven’t read the first three book I highly suggest you do so and not just because it’ll help you get a better understanding of what’s happening but because they are brilliantly created and amazing reads🥰 you’ll easily binged read them. This one continues with Damon and Skylar stories and the series of unfortunate events following Gia and everyone finding out about them. Get ready for another emotional ride 🤣
Waiting patiently for the next book 😭🥰

Twisted Oath was extremely good, well written, with great character and complex mafia world. 0,zI clung on to every word all the way to the end. Serafina and Salvatore are perfect for each other. They really compliment one another. I highly recommend reading i cant wait to read more 🥰

Welp here I am again reading book two of The Shadow Chronicles series 😀 and just like the first it’s a non stop read. Her unique storytelling of the supernatural world is amazing. I love seeing her take on things like the hellspawns and how she can make you feel the characters emotions as your own. This book is Continuing with Tasha and Levi’s love/action-packed story, picking up where the last one stopped and I can’t get enough of them. I also can’t wait to start the next one.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Reading Helpful Hudson by Dannielle Pickford I loveeeeed everything about it. The illustrations, I loved them. They reminded me of toy story style. I will be rereading this often to my little one. I loved the message, we all get that way sometimes even kids so it’s important for them to understand that and figure out how to work through their feelings. I look forward to reading more books by this author.

Lap baby by was just as the title says, super emotional. I am a first time reader of author Amy Q. Barker. After reading the synopsis I knew the book was going to be an emotional ride but It was way more than I expected. It was making me tear just like grey’s anatomy does 😭. It was sooo good the author really knows how to jerk your chain, and pull you in wanting more. I really enjoyed getting to see all the different povs on how they were living after the crash and how it affected them. I really really  really recommend reading this story and I know it will be a reread for me.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Can’t! hold! on! much! longer!! 🤣🤣🤣
I know I probably said this before but hot damn Isla Vaughn is back with another amazing heart pumping thriller. In this enemies to lovers book we follow Damon and Skylar. This is the first book of their story and boyyyy it was by far my fave ( at least so far lol we got a couple more books to go) this world is so well built and the characters so real. This has everything you’d want, that’s for sure. Also Gia is ugh lol but it is ends in a Cliffhanger hanging from a cliff and that’s why we call’em cliffhanger 😂 (who else remembers that show lmao loved it) i cannot wait for the next one, releasing soon woot woot 🙌

Aliens on Earth Anthology (Limited Edition Romance Collections) by Various Authors – Review by Hannah Porter

Aliens on EarthAliens on Earth by Mandy Melanson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Reading the Aliens on Earth Collection man there were some really amazing, quick reads in here. Okie I’m not gonna lie, all of them were great reads. I don’t even think I could pick a favorite one, but if I had to pick it’d be Sasha’s Bounties by DEYSI O’DONAL. In this collection the stories were ranked by their heat(the amount of spiciness 🥵) which was super awesome just in case you were in the mood for something more you could go to that section to find a story to read. All in all it took me a couple of days to get through the whole collection. You don’t have to. You can pick and choose whichever one you want but I highly recommend reading them all lmao 😂 🥰🥰. There are alot of different adventures to embark on throughout this collection. Some of the stories do continue separately and I’ll will definitely be going to the Authors pages to find and read them 😂😊

Ps some stories may contain triggers for some people

Boy Efrem and Miranda were made for each other and the chemistry between is wow 😍
This can be read as a standalone but I highly recommend you read this and the rest of these amazing stories.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

First time reader of this author Liza Snow. Honestly I found the book to be an awesome read. A real emotional thrill ride. I have not had the pleasure of reading a book where they were an Aerialist until now. It added a real layer of intrigue for me especially after finding out that he was interested in Shibari. I find it truly interesting how they do that. Some will say its artistry work, tying one up like that. The cover really drove me to try this book. I loved it. It was beautiful. It has some real spice between Cassandra and Chandler. I would highly recommend reading this book.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the second book of the Hidden Valley Elite series; the third if you count the prequel. It is the final part of the Cole and Riley’s story. And even though this is the end of Cole and Riley, the road to get there was not paved smoothly lmao at all but man was it an amazing emotional roller coaster to ride, intense too.Cole is a little butt at times but I’m glad that they got their happily ever after. I can’t wait to read the next one and see who the story will be about and how crazy that their lives get man oh man does this author really does know how to keep me coming back for more. I highly recommend reading these.

This is my first time reading a book from the author Amanda Uhl. I really really enjoyed reading it. Although it doesn’t have the usual supernatural beings you’re used to in these types of books, but it was just as good. And the power they do have is super interesting and unique. The authors did an amazing job pulling you into the intriguing world she has built. Also the attraction between Lillian/Zoey and Tristan is just the chef’s kiss. I would highly recommend this book to everyone, just make sure you have free time lmao you’re not gonna want to put this book down.

First time reader of this talented author, Carol McKibben. This is the 2nd Book The Silver Blood Knight series. I started this series on this book not realizing this was the second one lol. I ran to go get the first book after I finished reading this. It was a quick read but although it was short, man it was amazing. The world the author builds is so fantastic. It really draws you in and makes you believe you’re there. It has almost everything you’d want in a supernatural story. I can’t wait to finish the first book. If you’re looking for a good short series I highly recommend it.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Another great read by C.R Alam. I had started the series on his forever muse, so I went back and read this and was not disappointed, It was just as good as the second one. Although the relationship between Rae and Dean was slow burning,it was not lacking any chemistry. The story was a real page turner, with their on/ off statues leaves you dying to know what happens. I’m so happy they got their happily ever after. Reading this one after his forever muse makes me love Brandon even more than before. Im off to read the next book. I highly recommend reading.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Omg I finally get to read the second one🙌🙌🥰🥰I was extremely excited when I seen this had came out. This is the continuation for the Space force rejects series; it follows the out of this world love story between Sera and Markus. Operation Escape was truly almost as good as the first (the first one being my favorite) 😆 but it was equally adventurous with a new dangerous world. The author knows how to build a world and then constantly keep you guessing. The author also takes you deeper into the world giving you more details connecting this book to the first. I cannot wait til Book three comes out 🥰🥰😭 I can’t wait to see what else she has in store for us. Fingers crossed it has just as much action as this one and the last.

After reading the prequel, 🎶One kiss is all it takes, fallen in love with me 🎶🤣
I ran to read this first installment of the Hidden Valley Elite series. I needed to see where the story was going to go. The author Isla Vaughn writes an amazing enemies (bully) to lovers story, like it’s definitely tv worthy. I could totally see this being on the cw channel ❤️❤️. It’s has dark secrets, will they won’t they drama, suspense ,stolen moments between the characters and much much more. The author ended the story with another cliffhanger 😭🫣. CAN NOT WAIT to read the next book!

Ps. man oh man I can’t wait. While looking through the authors page I saw we are in for a real ride, there are so many books of this series coming out 🥰🙌🙌🙌

This series by Isla Vaughn is a new one for me, I’m glad to have started it, especially reading this before the rest because it gives you just enough detail on how it started between the main characters Riley and Cole to get you hooked. It was a fast read for me but not at all disappointing and it ends with a Cliffhanger(gotta love those), so you definitely have to go to the first book to see what happens. This book is the prequel to savage lies. Id recommend 100%

The Sweet Temptations Trilogy (Sinful Delights)The Sweet Temptations Trilogy by L.M. Mountford
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

First time reader of author L.M. Mountford and I’m amazed at how good the writing and storytelling was. Going into reading these stories I expected it to be a little spicy but what I got was ALOT of steamy erotic scenes. The author writes passion so well it will have your heart pumping🥵😍. Although I wasn’t a fan of the whole cheating thing but the last book kinda makes up for it 🤣 All three books were all short and quick reads, each about seven to eight chapters long. Alice was a badass, loved her kicking ”someone’s” ass.
Looking through the rest of the titles by the author, it looks like there are some really good hot stories to read .

Rogue (The Talisman Series)Rogue by Tam DeRudder Jackson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Newly obsessed reader of author Tam DeRudder Jackson. After reading the first book of this series (Talisman) I became a real big fan. I totally started reading more of her stories including the previous one in this series and the Balefire series. She is an amazing writer, this story was filled with wild action, exciting paranormal beings and a lot of passion between fated mates Baz and Delaney. Even with the odd betting and pitted against them they end up being a perfect pair for each other. And can I say the Morrigan is a real piece of work. A highly recommended read.
And again the cover 😍🥵

Ruthless Hawke (The Hawke Family Second Generation Book 1) by Gwyn McNamee – Review by Hannah Porter

Ruthless Hawke (The Hawke Family Second Generation Book 1)Ruthless Hawke by Gwyn McNamee
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Although you don’t have to read the prequel I definitely suggest you do to get more insight on the history between Jack and Isaac, and where those events led to this book. The Passion and heat between Jack and Isaac is tangible even after all those years apart. And with Dom gone you get to see what other mobsters took his place And with one bad guy down another Looms and the shadows over the hawk family. Isaac is a lot like his father ( more ways than one AHAHAHA )and I love how the author puts in certain personal issues that makes the characters seem more realistic and relatable to us nomads. Also the action will have your heart pumping and trying to quickly read to get to the next page To see what happens next, And boy is the next page you’d better than last.
I love love love seeing all the OG characters being parents And saying where their kids landed the rest of the stories I cannot wait till June For the next book. Counting the days.

PS. That scene at the grandma’s house was hilarious to me. Lmao awkward

This is the fourth book of the Pierce Brothers Series and I’m a first time reader of this author Belinda Williams. So far I’d say she’s an amazing writer and really knows how to tell a story. This book had me going through emotional ups and downs, but I loved that they got there happily ever after. Noah and Amy are soo freaking adorable together and with Amelia. I’m already sad this is the last book fingers crossed for a spin-off. But at least I get to go back to read the Victoria and Seth story along with the other two stories involving the brothers.

Emissary (Star-Crossed Celestials Duet) Can be read as a standalone but if you read this one I would recommend you definitely read Watcher by this author as this story is also a Prequel to that one. This is the second time picking up a book by author A. L. Morrow and again knocked it out of the park. She wrote another tantalizing story. It’s also another m/m story. With some steamy bits between Kai and Byron. After reading Watcher I was interested in seeing what else the author had in-store and I’m glad I picked it up 😊 I’ll be on the lookout for the sequel to the first book.
