The Hawke Family Complete Collection by Gwyn McNamee – Review by Hannah Porter

The Hawke Family Complete CollectionThe Hawke Family Complete Collection by Gwyn McNamee
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Savage Collision: This is the first book of the series and when she gives that warning on her page she means it. This book really had me readling non stop. Danika is a super fierce, strong, smart
lead female, and man was there some real passion between her and Savage. Also Abello is a psychopath smh. And omg the epilogue was sooo cute i loved it lol. I think they might be my favorite couple so far.
Tortured Skye is the next book in the series by the great author Gwyn McNamee.i was excited to read about Gabe’s story. I loved him in the first book. The way he had savages back when going up against the bad guy, a plus. Even through the ups and downs he and Skye had some real heat passing between them. I’m looking forward to seeing more of them. Again a one sit read.

Stone Sober & Building Storm are the third and fourth book of the The Hawke Family series by the really talented Gwyn McNamee. She has such a way with word that your just propelled into the world that she creates. She really knows how to write passion and leave you breathless. And oh man the suspense with the twist and turn. I also love seeing the past characters return to the new stories, it really ties everything together. Like omg the surprise at the end of Stoned Sober with Nora and Stone OMG lol.

Tainted Saint & Steele Resolve are the fifth and sixth book of the series and although they were a little bit shorter than the other, but man they did not disappoint. I truly am now a huge fan of Gwyn McNamee. I am a long time reader now. I was so excited to finish these books, but I was also super sad because I didn’t want them to end. I then saw that there is a new one coming out soon, the second generation . Sign me up!. They were both also still super hottt.

Night Hawke (The Hawke Family Second Generation #0.5)Night Hawke by Gwyn McNamee
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This Is a short read approximately 2 hours probably quicker for the fast readers. Even though I haven’t read any of the other ones in the series, it’s a fast read. I found I really enjoyed this. I loved reading from the different POVs. And boy oh boy it has some steamy bits between Nolan aka Isaac and Jack🫣😂❤️ no complaints from me 😉I loved it. I look forward to reading the rest of the series from this author, literally running to get the other ones. As a first time reader I gotta say Gywn McNamee you got a lifetime reader here.🥰

Vaughn's Xena (Dirty Rockhard Series, #1)Vaughn’s Xena by M.I. Rosegold
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is the first book of the Dirty Rockhard Billionaire series, by the author M.I. Rosegold. This is my first time reading the author’s work. I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect. I knew it was gonna be steamy but I didn’t know how much. I gotta say man oh man it was a spicy meatball lol. Although some things were not for me per say, overall I really enjoyed reading it. I do enjoy a forbidden romance. I am lowkey looking forward to trying out the next Xena’s Vaughn. I wanna see what happens between them and the rest of the story.
Ps if you love these kinks ( erotic humiliation, degradation, edging, light bondage, pubic play, and raw sex) you should definitely read this series.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Bees in Loretta’s bonnet Is a nice and cute quick read for you and your family. You learn a Little about the Leafcutter bees. Which I didn’t know was a different kind of bee. I love all bees , they are super important and I’m excited to try the little project at the end to make a home for the bees. I like that the author Lois Wickstrom uses different styles when Illustrating.

Journeys Through Collection: Volumes 1-3 by James Talisman – Review by: Hannah Porter

Journeys Through Collection: Volume 1-3Journeys Through Collection: Volume 1-3 by James Talisman
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Reading theJourneys Through SpaceTime by James Talisman for the first time although it’s not my usual cup of tea. I wanted to give it a try, the artwork on the cover really drew me in. I found I really enjoyed reading this book. The author James Talisman is a terrific storyteller and multi-world builder, really has an eye for details. I really like how it has a list of all the characters just in case you need to remember who’s who while reading. That way you don’t have to flip through the pages to find them.

Ps i love the dedication at the beginning it was super sweet pps i have always wanted to learn krav maga.

Coming back to continue reading the Journeys Through series and seeing what the amazing characters have in store for them and I was not disappointed. I’m glad to have started such a gripping series. I still can’t believe how he keeps you reading non stop, really captivates you. Also like i said before it’s truly amazing how good he is with the details, like keeping track of everything with the different characters lol i would have so many plot holes. I still don’t know which ones are my favorites yet. I would highly recommend reading.

Man, I just got done reading the third book of the Journeys Through series. No lie, I started and finished all three books in 3 days. It would have been done sooner if I could read faster. I thought it was going to take longer but these books are real page turners with in depth detail and intense adventures. I think my favorite characters might have to be the earthlings Matt and Julia. I also liked the author’s take on the Atlanteans. They have been a favorite of mine since reading about them years ago.I will highly recommend reading but buckle your seat belt, you’re in for a ride lol I can’t wait for more. Fingers crossed.

Underboss’s Retaliation (Sicilian Gods Book 2) by Via Mari – Review by Hannah Porter

Underboss's Retaliation (Sicilian Gods Book 2)Underboss’s Retaliation by Via Mari
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the second book in the Sicilian Gods series by author Via Mari. I was so excited when Underboss’s Retaliation finally came out. After reading the first I couldn’t wait for it to drop to see what was going to happen in the Larussio family next. And boy oh boy the author did not disappoint, it was just as good as the first one if not better. Emelia and Dominic are probably my favorite thus far ( saving judgment til the rest of the series come lmao) butas everyone knows i’m a sucker for strong females and enemies to lovers stories. Also the mafia genre books have become my favorite lately. I’m literally sitting on the edge of my seat for the next one. Via Mari you truly have a gift for writing and keep it up.

It’s a real page turner, kept me reading non stop and loved all the twists and turns.I also love reading about Greek mythology, so I really enjoyed the author’s take on it. I didn’t realize this was the second book of the series though so I’m definitely going to go back to read the first one. I recommend reading.

First time reader of Author Janice Pratt, and not gonna be the last. I think this book was a cute short, easy story to read with your family. I really liked how it shows you how at the end she shows you how to create your own book box. We have multiple in the area I live in. I love them. We stop like once a week to swap out our books for new ones. They also have different books on culture and languages which I also like.

Raine Down (The Shadow Guardians Book 1) by CB Samet – Review by Hannah Porter

Raine Down (The Shadow Guardians, #1)Raine Down by C.B. Samet
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Omg wow Raine Down the first book of the The Shadow Guardians Series was such a great read. Be prepared to finish it all at once. It’s the right mix between supernatural, mythology and don’t forget romance. Although I love all mythology I haven’t really read many books that have Norse Mythology in it and if they do it’s only a little. So I found this book really interesting had me going to find more books like it. Raine is a freaking badass. I think her and Will are perfect for each other. The Author CB Samet is one amazing story teller. I highly recommend reading this book. Also Is it February yet lol i can’t wait for Storm Surge.

Ps i lowkey wish i had her sister Skys power lol i would come in handy. And I can’t wait for her book.

I definitely have to go back to the beginning and start from there to get a better understanding of everything. But I wanted to read this one when I first saw the description because of all the supernatural books I have read I’ve never read about bat and swan shapeshifters. Ruthless Heir:

Summer running from one mob striaght into the arms of another one but can she trust Luc even thought he’s on still thinks she’s a spy for another company. This installment follows Luc and Summer from their one night stand to lovers. Read this gem to find out what secrets they uncover.

Now he has to use those connections to save Hailey from her kidnappers but being who he is, he knows there’s more going on than meets the eye. Will he fight the chemistry between them or give in. You have to read to find out and I highly recommend you do.
