My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Unraveled by Aubrey Bondurant is a contemporary romance. This novel was beyond amazing and one of the best that I have read this year!! High emotions, up/down, and all over the place will occur within this story. There is a storm embarking that will shake the cast of characters to the core and how they move to overcome will determine the direction this story will take. Layla and Kellan hold a special place in my heart after reading this remarkable novel. Holy smokes, Aubrey Bondurant has created a powerful story full of heart, soul, and more. Nothing is held back and it was so beautifully done, even the moments when the story brings you to tears. Loved it!

Tracking NumbersTracking Numbers by Janice M. Whiteaker
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Tracking Numbers (Lost Boys MC BOOK 1) by Janice M. Whiteaker is an excellently written romantic suspense. Tracker is the male hero of this story with his rough edges and his take on brotherhood.
He reeks of sexual appeal and there is no denying he has it in spades. He’s willing to do what is needed and required to protect his brotherhood and that’s certainly part of the theme in this story.
Then there is Kerri, who wants nothing to do with her father or his life, but can she truly walk away from it without any repercussions? Kerri in her own right is a strong and independent woman and he character makes me laugh and root for her within in story. Mixing together Tracker and Kerri created an off the charts chemistry that is undeniable. Holy hotness overload! The first book in this series has set the bar high, I cannot wait to see what the author delivers next in this series and more of the Lost Boys.

The Arrangement Duet Box SetThe Arrangement Duet Box Set by Madison Quinn
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The Arrangement Duet Box Set by Madison Quinn is a contemporary romance. This set includes On His Terms and On Her Terms. Overall, this is a great duet by the author and a truly enjoyable read. In the first book, we are introduced to the characters including Nicholas and Kenzie. These characters are likable though they each are flawed in their own unique ways. The way they cross paths in the story was creative and realistic, while it seems some sort of fate intervenes at key moments. There is drama that adds into the dynamics of the story to give some additional depth and edge. The story may seem fast paced, at times, but it works. Nothing in life is ever easy, those things that are truly valuable are worth more than their weight in gold.

Alex: An Eidolon Black Ops Novel by Maddie Wade is a romantic suspense. This story could be read as a stand alone, but I would highly recommend also reading the numerous other stories by Maddie Wade as there are several secondary characters that are outstanding on their own. For Alex: An Eidolon Black Ops Novel, this story focuses on Alex and Evelyn where there is danger lurking while they try to come to grips with the past and how its impacted each of their lives. I really enjoyed to see the overlapping of characters into this story and liked the story line/plot that Maddie introduced for these particular characters. Say Something by Jennifer L. Allen is a second chance contemporary romance. This story if rife with emotional triggers and is so raw at times you can virtually feel the characters as they battle their demons. I found the hometown environment of this story touching and realistic. This story encounters topics so true in everyday life and the author tackled those items with finesse. Jessie and Danny are the epitome of sweethearts but life delivers a fatal blow which shattered their relationship. Yet, life/fate has some of it’s own to deliver and watching that fall into the story was beautifully done. Holly Kerr delivers an enchanting story when life doesn’t go exactly as planned with a group of characters that are rife with hilarious conversations and acts. Who wouldn’t laugh at half the stuff that occurs in this story?! I loved Dean and Flora in this novel and felt that they each grew from where they began at the start. There were definitely a couple characters I wanted to toss in a box and throw out because they were just drove me to feel that way; however, they added much needed dimension to the story and provided those characters that you love to hate! Trickster’s Hunt (Three Tricksters Book 1) by Carrie Whitethorne is a paranormal romance with some unique quirks to the story line. Maia’s character is strong and stands firm in her beliefs and choices. She’s not your stereotypical female, anything but. Maia encounters a trio of men popping up in her life in the most unusual ways. One thing leads to another and it’s a suspenseful chain of events that soon ensue. The author adds a mix of mythology or historical attributes to the story to give it more depth, as well as, create intrigue to the characters. The stories came across as flat at times, while entertaining in other ways. As mentioned, it was a good collection and would do well as a read to whet your appetite. The Queen of Witches (Wheel of Crowns Book 2)The Queen of Witches by Brandi Elledge
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Queen of Witches (Wheel of Crowns Book 2) by Brandi Elledge is a paranormal romantic suspense. This story follows right on the edge, with a slight overlap, of the first book of the series – The Werewolf Queen. In The Queen of Witches, the author delivers more paranormal elements and the reappearance of several characters that were supporting in the previous book. Charlie is different, she knows it, but she doesn’t let it deter her from living her life in the way that she chooses. However, everything is about to shift for her as everything she thought she knew is about to explode.

Brandi Elledge keeps up the amazing character development in this second novel, along with introducing new elements. The story was fast paced, but not rushed. Heels of Fortune: PJ Santini Series: Book Two by Lynne Russell was an amazing read. I loved the first book, Hell on Heels, but Heels of Fortune is even better! It worked in such a way that the words quickly fall off the pages into the readers mind to bring the story to life in a way that is magical in its own right.

PJ Santini is a strong character in this story/series and is still on the hunt for the truth.
