Lies Come True (Avery Hart Trilogy, #1)Lies Come True by Emerald O’Brien
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Lies Come True (The Avery Hart Trilogy Book 1) by Emerald O’Brien is a suspenseful mystery. The author leads the reader through the story setting the stage for the trilogy. The main characters are well established with secondary characters introduced throughout the story. I felt that the story was written in a way that works for this genre and keeps the reader interested wondering where they are being led and questioning what is going to happen next. Avery, the heroine of the story, has had a horrid past to overcome, but she’s survived. Now the new events are occurring and it’s wrecking havoc, bringing forth memories and questioning what’s to come. Definitely a great read for those who enjoy a good mystery.

Until Fools Find Gold (Providence Gold Book One) by Mary B Moore is a compelling contemporary romance. Luna’s character is amazing, her past and present are pivotal moments in her life – within those, are the Townsend’s, in particular Noah. Such history is portrayed within this story creating in depth and multi-dimensional characters that are flawed, but exquisite in their entirety. Noah’s alpha tendencies are laid out within the story in the most talented ways making him a wonderful lead male character within this story. The emotional meter on this story is high, along with the drama, suspense and chemistry. Nothing is held back in this story and is beautifully written. I cannot wait to see what Mary B. Flirty Dancing: A Spicy Romantic Comedy About the Afterlife (The Green Room Chronicles Book 3) by J.D. Frettier is a hilarious and feisty story of the hereafter. Each story within the series add more and someone new; each character that is added brings something unique to their story. I find the author’s spin on the afterlife enlightening, fun, and downright outrageous in just the right ways. Flirty Dancing is the best yet, in my opinion, with Kitty’s story. Her untimely death came with after effects she’s not prepared to acknowledge and accept. I enjoyed reading how this continued and where Kitty finally ends or begins. What a great short story and a great addition to the series.

As we all know, the past cannot always remain there; sometimes it comes back for a reason that is worthwhile, yet in other ways it’s one we need to overcome and conquer. Remy and Eli are magnetic characters and it’s seen throughout their interactions despite the events that have occurred. Their story was brilliantly written and I could not get enough. The Reason Why, by Izzibella Beau, was an emotionally drawing story. Alabama is a female who hasn’t had an easy life, one full of effort, struggle and questions of self worth. Circumstances shake up her life and set her a path that could be a change that is desperately needed. My heart broke for Alabama in this story at the misfortune that has been evident in her life. Yet, I yearned for the change that was about to come and learning where she went from there. Adding Joshua and Hunter into the dynamics of this story and it shakes it up in some of the best ways.
