I have so many words, yet none at al to describe how much i loved reading this lighthearted, fun, and heartwarming book.

Tj and Tj are each so confident in who they are when it comes to their feelings on love. Teagan is the ‘love guru’ and ALL about love and loving your friends, family, and he is not afraid to voice it for himself on his podcast. Tenley is so far against love, in a practical sense, that she doesn’t believe it’s even worth trying to find. And she says just as much, on HER podcast.

These two capture your brain and heart right from the get go. Their chemistry is revealed almost immediately, even with Ten trying her hardest to deny that she could easily fall for Teag. Meanwhile Teag almost instantly knows he’d like to get to know her more, even if it’s only between the sheets (wink).

You almost can’t help falling in love with all the characters in this story, and you fall in love with Kamala Wanalaya Resort too.

This was a book from a new author to me, so I was not sure what to expect. However, I loved the title and cover of the book because it made me think of the “Mele Kalikimaka” Christmas song that is one of my favorites. I fell in love with the main characters in this story and hated when it ended. I could not put this book down and read it in a day. This story is so realistic, and I felt like I had known these people my entire life. Despite never going to Hawaii, I feel like she described it so well that in my mind I was there on the shores with them. I was so glad to find out that there are individual books for each of the characters. I look forward to picking those up and reading them too. Please, please, please do yourself a favor and read this story. I cannot recommend it enough.

This is a really sweet and funny contemporary romance. I loved our lead characters and I liked how the author makes the female character the one who doesn’t believe in love and HEA and the male character is the believer.
The book is funny and engaging and is definately a page turner. The attraction between the main characters is interesting to watch and you can’t help but find yourself hoping that they get together but it won’t be easy convincing a non believer to belief in the magic of love and romance.

Tenley isn’t a believer in romance. She believes love doesn’t exist and that everyone should look at relationships as business dealings. In her podcast she talks about her feelings and her reasonings as to why she thinks that and trys to show people the error in their ways for trust and believing in romance.

Teagan is the opposite. He classes himself as a love guru and firmly believes in the power of love and romance and strives to show everyone that it is real.
When Tenley calls Teagan out for his false ideas of love, Teagan decides to set her a challenge.

If Tenley will join him at this romantic resort in Hawaii and doesn’t find love then he will donate to her podcast.
When Tenley accepts the challenge neither of them expect the outcome.
This is a fun push and pull story where both parties are wanting to prove their views right but when it comes down to it who will come off as the winner? When emotions and attraction starts to run wild can Teagan convince the relationship non believer to take a chance on him and the possibilities of romance?

Tenley Shay does a podcast under the name TJ On Par and is the voice of practicality in relationships. In her podcasts seem she seems to be a bit of downer on the concept of love and instead feels it is better to remain single. Tenley believes that people should be realistic about the concept of love and relationships.

Teagan is the exact opposite of Tenley and believes in the concept of love. After all, he does call himself the Love Guru so he must be an expert on the subject. When the Love Guru publishes an article about a romantic couple’s retreat at his favorite Hawaiian resort Tenley quickly becomes his biggest critic.

The Love Guru puts TJ On Par on the spot and offers her an all-expense paid trip at the Kamana Wanalaya resort believing that he can get her to fall in love. If he cannot then he will donate $10,000 to her podcast. Tenley reluctantly agrees feeling that it is a win-win situation for her. A free vacation and money for her podcast.

When Tenley arrives at the resort Teagan cannot deny his attraction to her witty sense of humor and her feisty attitude. Tenley also feels a twinge of attraction to the drop-dead gorgeous Teagan. Will they give in to their attraction to each other? Will Tenley drop her guard and finally believe that love is real?

This book had me chuckling from the first page with the witty remarks. The banter between Teagan and Tenley was witty and amusing. The chemistry between them was sizzling. The book was well written, witty, light-hearted, and romantic. A great read! PS: Am I the only one who picked up on the book’s title and how it sounds when pronounced slowly?

An enjoyable and engaging lighthearted contemporary romance, which had me happily turning the pages. Teagan, the Love Guru publishes an article about spending a week at the Hawaiian couple’s retreat, ‘Kamana Wanalaya Resort’, and Tenley Shay, the voice behind TJ ON PAR, a podcast for Practical Adult Relationships, is quick to comment. Tenley, is known for her disapproval of love and the practicality of remaining single for life, so, Teagan decides to call her bluff, and invites her on an all-expense paid trip to the couple’s retreat, for a little R&R before the holidays. He wants to prove her cynicism wrong and if he can’t get her to fall in love, then he will donate to her podcast.
Having met and are coupled up for the week, their chemistry sizzles off the page, leading to some steamy scenes. Teagan finds himself attracted to her feisty attitude and her sense of humour. However, can Tenley, the world’s biggest relationship cynic change her thoughts on love. Asking her to risk everything, forget about her opinions on love, and take a real chance at love, might be too much to ask. This is a fun read, which kept me hooked throughout, the characters and the setting are brought to life, making me feel immersed in the story. I loved the main characters, and was cheering the couple on, hoping they would get their own HEA, for the holidays!

Tenley Shay is a podcast host that goes by the name TJ on PAR (Practical Adult Relationships). On air, she promotes her thoughts that love is essentially a fairytale and does not exist. Teagan Mackenzie, TJ Mack aka the Love Guru, believes love is the essence and driving force of truly living one’s best life. When Teagan is a guest on another podcast, and is questioned on his thoughts of TJ on PAR’s opinion, he finds himself making an offer to this Grinch, to join him on a trip to Kamana Wanalaya’s resort in Hawaii. If she does not fall in love with everything about the resort, he promises to make a $10k donation to her podcast. She agrees to go, thinking it will be an easy $10k. Little do they both know that this will be an experience neither of them expected, nor will they ever forget.

Kamana Wanalaya for the Holidays is my first book by Susan Renee, and I absolutely loved it. I loved the character development, the scene setting, and how we were able to read in both Teagan and Tenley’s point of view. I felt like that really helped me to connect with both of these characters and to better understand their opposing ways of thinking. If you’re looking for a perfectly-paced steamy story, with beautiful descriptions, dialogue that can have you laughing and really feeling all the feels, I highly recommend giving this book a chance!

This book was a very quick read due to how funny and engaging it was. From the opening line, it kept me interested and entertained. There are several laugh out loud moments, plenty of humor and uncomfortable moments and steam.

Tenley and Teagan are both podcast hosts. Tenley considers herself outside of being interested in love and is all about practicality and logic – no love for this girl and she doesn’t think others should be so obsessed with it, either. Teagan considers himself the “Love Guru” and just can’t stand how UNINTERESTED in love Tenley is. She’s a stick in the mud, not allowing herself any joy of a relationship.

So Teagan does what any red-blooded male would do in his situation – he invites her on a couples retreat in Hawaii, his treat. If she falls in love, Teagan wins, and if she doesn’t, she wins and gets 10k. Of course Tenley is interested in a free tropical vacation and the “guarantee” of ten thousand dollars, and so…away they go.

Along the way they find out it is an entire trip built around couples in love, they’re seated with couples in love, they’re pretending to BE a couple in love. They discover an attraction to one another that neither one of them expected, lots of excellent characters making cameos from the authors other books, and a possibility between them that neither of them expected. Who really “wins” this bet?

Very fun story. Cute, easy read, likable characters, beautiful backdrop, and a lot of fun.

Sweet and Steamy!

Susan Renee where have you been all my life!
I love me an enemies to loves romance and this was everything a girl would wish for.

Tenley is a practical woman and offers practical adult relationship advice via her anonymous podcast “TJ on PAR”. A lot of this relationship advice centers around her disapproval of love and the practicalities of being single.
Then along comes “the Love Guru”, Teagan, with his offer for Tenley to join him for a week in Hawaii at a resort and a deal that he will pay her ten thousand dollars if she doesn’t fall in love.
Of course, Tenely says yes to a free week in Hawaii and ten thousand dollars! Will Tenley walk away with love in her heart or a boat load of cash?

This just made my heart sing! Tenley is sassy and strong while and Teagan is fun and complimentary – it was so easy to want to ship them!
The writing and layout made it such an easy read. The relationships and friendships were the sweetest and everything you would want for yourself on a Hawaiian holiday.
The grand gesture that we patiently wait for in a Romance was the sweetest and totally worth it.

If Romance is your genre, then I recommend picking this up.
I am off to add a few more Susan Renee books to my TBR!

This is a quick, Christmas romance! It’s so good and the characters are easy to love. It’s a look into the professional athlete world and it gives a taste of what it’s like to sacrifice everything to be the best. I love that Sienna & Connor compliment each other in a realistic way. This book made me want to take a winter getaway to the slopes!

Snow in Love is a cute winter romance story. Grab a blanket and a cup of coffee or cocoa, and curl up on the couch for a quick read. The progression of the story is predictable, but I still really enjoyed it. Connor and Sienna are professional skiers who meet at a private training at an abandoned lodge. I love the little details the author put into the story. Each character is well written with a back story and family connection. Sienna is at a turning point in her career and needs time to discover what she wants for herself and stop living for her mom. Connor is struggling to find himself again after an accident that claimed half of his leg. I love his brother Colby and how helpful he was, while still being a typical college boy. I look forward to reading more by this author. She has a way with words and the book is short but sweet.

Tenley is the host of a podcast on practical adult relationships, whose opinion is that love doesn’t conquer all, and people should be practical and realistic about life. Teagan is the Love Guru, and he (obviously) believes in love. A random comment on a radio show makes Tenley go to Hawaii to prove that she is right.

Tenley and Teagan’s banter is funny, and they have great chemistry. The pace of the story is good and I was pulled into their story. The “something happens so one person refuses to talk to the other” trope isn’t my favourite but it wasn’t terribly done and made sense for the character. I haven’t read Susan Renee’s other books, but it was clear that the supporting characters are cameos from other books, and it makes me want to go read their stories.

This is my first read by Susan Renee. I enjoyed the easy read that not only kept me laughing, but also wanting to shake some sense into the characters at times. The characters are well developed and easy to like and relate to.

Tenley and Teagan are polar opposites when it comes to love. Tenley is jaded and prefers to view love from a practical standpoint, while Teagan views love as a glorious union to be desired and cherished. The fun begins when Teagan “the love guru”, challenges Tenley to a one week, all expenses paid, trip to Kamana Wanalaya Resort in Hawaii to change her mind on love.

Kamana Wanalaya was a fun read with some definite spice. It’s a slow burner, that keeps you hooked. When the plot picks up, it picks up quickly.

Connor is no longer the playboy motorcross rider of his past…he is now a skier in the Paralympics. After an accident took part of his leg, he has needed to find a new way to fulfill the need for speed that lives within him. He seems to be almost as good on the slopes as he was on the track. So, when his coach plans a training session around Christmas, Connor shows up ready to work.

Sienna is the “golden girl” of the slopes…and she is only missing a gold medal at the Paralympics. When her mother cancels her vacation in lieu of another training, Sienna is wondering if there is ever going to be more to life that her overbearing mother/manager. She is less than thrilled to have to spend her favorite holiday training…and even less thrilled when she sees who she has to spend it with.

These two, on paper, are as different as can be. But, when the begin to really get to know each other, they find out that they just might be after the same thing. However, when Sienna’s mother steps in and once again makes decisions for Sienna, will Sienna ever be allowed to be happy? Will Sienna be able to take her future into her own hands finally?

This was a good story about a woman wanting more for her future and a man who’s past shadows people’s thoughts about. Each of the characters is good for the other and helps them grow in their own ways. I enjoyed their banter and Connor’s ways of making Sienna feel special. Overall, a good book that I was able to devour in one sitting.

What happens when a cynic and a hopeless romantic challenge one another? Well everything that happened in Kamana Wanalaya for the Holidays. The author wrote an interesting take on an enemies to lovers romance. One that was thoroughly enjoyable. It was happy, sad, funny, spicy, and everything in between.
Tenley has a podcast where she goes on about being practical in life. Especially in love, she doesn’t believe in it. A independent feminist at heart, would rather preach her feelings vs risk her heart. She despises the so-called “love guru.”
Teagan is the love guru and he issues a challenge. After Tenley laid into him and the resort he promoted in her podcast, he propositioned her. He said come to Hawaii for a week with all expenses paid and if he couldn’t show her how to love, he would donate $10k to her podcast and go on record pulling back some. What he didn’t tell her was it was a couples retreat week.
That’s where the author’s humor comes into play. Navigating these two who are complete opposites through a retreat and fake relationship. They take shots and constantly rib one another, but under it all they are both falling.
How do they handle it?
If you enjoy enemy to lovers romances this book is perfect. The author put together a well written story. It has you rooting for the main characters, it also has you wanting the backstory of the others. Which I’m going to be looking into! You should too!

Podcaster Tenley Shay says it like it is and calls out Love Guru Teagan. Tenley is a sceptic where love is concerned, while Teagan believes love is out there. Deciding to turn the tables on Tenley, Teagan offers an invite to a couple retreat where he makes a bet with her that she cannot refuse. Can two people who are polar opposites on love find something a little special while trying to fight their feelings?

Teagan is terrific, he oozes charisma which Tenley is determined ignore. Humorous with kind of a How to Lose A Guy in 10 Days feeling with a holiday twist. Very entertaining read.

This book was the perfect book to get me settled into the holidays! It got me out of my reading slump and I legitimately ugly laughed myself to tears in one scene. I’ll definitely be keeping an eye out for this author in the future.
Tenley has a popular podcast on Practical Adult Relationships. When she sarcastically mentions the Love Guru and his romantical couple’s retreat in her podcast he feels the spontaneous urge to issue her a challenge… If she can go to this couple’s retreat in Hawaii for a week and not fall in love with Love, he will donate a sum of money to her podcast and admit publicly that he was wrong.
I could not put this book down and laughed so hard at times that I had to stop and read tidbits to my partner. Tenley and Teagan are a blast to experience and I could have mentally stayed at that resort for so much longer than the book allowed.

This holiday romance is not what you expect! It has such a great story line and is not your typical story. This was my first time reading this author and I really enjoyed their writing style. Tenley has hidden insecurities that most people don’t even know about. She has a podcast telling women not to waste your time with love. And then comes Teagan who believes in love with his whole heart even though he has never experienced it. He takes a chance and makes an offer Tenley can’t refuse. Will his belief be enough to show Tenley that true love does exist? Can he really break down her walls and reach her heart? This is definitely worth the read!

The romance genre is not my normal read, but the book summary caught my attention. It did not disappoint and I was hooked by the end of the first chapter.

The main characters have opposite views on what love is. Tenley has a practical view and gives advice on her podcast. Teagan is a Love Guru with an optimistic view. Is it true that opposites attract? A week in Hawaii is the ultimate test from the Love Guru to the Practical Podcaster. He pushes her buttons from the get go. She puts her foot down with her strong opinionated personality. Or does she? Pick up the book and follow the slow burn romance of these two opposites!

I really enjoyed this romance. Its a perfect Christmas read. It is an enemies to lovers romance however I wouldn’t class Sienna and Connor as enemies. Both of them have had a lot to deal with in their lives so it’s made them act and respond the way they do.

Both are Paralympics athletes but they came to it from different ways. Sienna was born that way and over the years she has pushed herself to be the best paralympic skier around. She is a very focused and driver woman who won’t let anyone stand in her way.
Conner on the other hand lost his leg due to an accident, so he has the additional trauma of learning to live with this disability. Conner also used to be a bad boy, partying hard and different women every night. But that all changed after his accident. He is now trying to rebuild his life and career.

Neither Conner or Sienna are looking for romance or distraction but that is what the find when they are on deserted ski resort with just their coach.
As the couple get to know each other you can feel the push and pull as they feel each other out and push each others buttons.

The question is can they drop the images they have of each other in their minds to see the real person in front of them or will their pasts hold them back from taking a risk?

A couple things I love about this book. Firstly, the title is adorable. The cover is sweet too. It is a shorter story but told perfectly and smoothly. My attention was drawn in and held due to the nature of the wonderful story.

Secondly I love the storyline..skiing competitively. I don’t run across this subject too often. While there isn’t a ton of skiing in here it has some of the drama that goes along with being in a competitive sport.

Lastly the characters are wildly different from each other. They both are hot to trot and have large reputations. She is the Golden Child of skiing and he is the former bad boy of motocross. I felt there would be a lot of time spent on why they are in the Paralympics but it was more about the feelings these two felt and their lovely romance.

Overall it is a wonderful holiday and winter themed story. It is a lighthearted fun book to read on a cold day.

Snow In Love is a great Christmas romance novella that I really enjoyed reading. It was my first time reading this author so was unsure what to expect from this book. I’m glad I took a chance on it as it’s definitely worth a read.
Although short at 100 pages, the author manages to pack a great deal of content in to make it an enjoyable read that keeps you engaged from beginning to end.
I really enjoyed reading about the 2 main characters Sienna and Connor. Being the golden princess of paralympic skiing you’d expect her to be a bit of a dive, but she’s far from it. Connor was the playboy motocross rider before his accident and is now a totally changed man in many ways and I really engaged with his character as he tried to make himself a better person.
I have to admit that I really wanted to slap Sienna’s mother and give her father a good shake. My heart broke for how Sienna was treated.
This is a great Christmas romance and I’d definitely recommend giving it a try.

This was just the holiday romance that I needed to read to really get in the spirit of Christmas! I love the fact that this was a book about characters that are in the Paralympics and that it really gave insight into their preparations/thoughts about the competition. I have not read a book that highlighted characters that both are overcoming body differences compared to others. I found myself devouring this book on my breaks and lunches when I was at work. I even found myself wondering what would happen next in the story and daydreaming of different scenarios. I cannot wait to read more books by this wonderful author!!

A fun holiday read that I finished in a day! The main characters are both athletes training for the Paralympics at a ski lodge that is closed for a remodel. Connor had to have a partial amputation after a motocross accident and Sienna was born with only a partial leg. They are thrown together to train over Christmas before the big race. Karl is coaching them on the slopes and they get to know each other in the lodge where they open up to each other and learn that they are more than their reputations. The lodge sounds like an amazing place to escape, spend a holiday, and cozy up around the fire. The characters are both struggling to find themselves and are not sure if they can trust each other but there are sparks from the first meeting. I will be looking at more from the author because I loved the quick read!
