This latest book from Kells was one I knew I would love. And I was SO right. Just an amazing detailed ride full of action, suspense, and romance with that just the right amount of darkness seeping in. Kells has an eye for detail that provides the reader with a beautiful tapestry that is a feast for the soul. She is absolutely a one click author and Night Justice is another wonderful example of her masterful writing skill. Loved every page and will definitely recommend highly.

Orla is a reporter who has a story to write to uncover who is causing the drugs to be pushed onto the streets of Chicago but as she delves deeper into the underworld of the city she becomes a target and when she feels like she is being follows she knows she is on the right line.
Following a lead to a pub she meets her “Angel” but he is the vigilante running through the streets defending the people who can’t. After understanding they are both working towards the same goal of trying to get this new drug of the streets they decide to combine forces to achieve there goal, but they both do not understand the chemistry between them and they start feeling that the can’t go a day without seeing each other. Could love survive a underworld battle?
If you enjoy a story with action, thrilling story line and well developed characters you will enjoy this book. The chemistry between the two characters was excellent and the story was well executed too, full of excitement and action. This is the first story I have read by this author and would definitely recommend this story and I will be checking out the other stories in her catalogue.

This is a dark romance suspense book that I loved from beginning to end. This is an author that I have read many books from, she continues to impress me with her attention to details in her stories. I was pulled right into this story from the beginning with the characters. I had no problem connecting with them and they made the story feel real. Orla is a reporter that is determined to find out two things: 1. Stop the distribution of a new drug, 2. Find the vigilante who has their own brand of justice. The vigilante and Orla have a couple of things in common, stopping this new drug and each other. She needs to learn to trust him but will she? Is love enough to survive or will secrets take them down? I loved both of these characters and their chemistry is off the charts. They had me turning pages fast as well as the twist and turns you don’t want to miss. I highly recommend this book and this author.

I loved reading the book Night Justice (A Chicago Vigilantes Novel Book 1) by India Kells. It is a story that includes action, danger, and romance. It is a book that is entertaining and highly addictive to read. I love the character of Orla Karlsen. She is a reporter who is intelligent, strong, independent, and a fighter. She is working on a story about a new drug that is about to overtake Chicago. Her second agenda is trying to uncover a person who is dispensing their own type of justice, the Vigilante. The Vigilante is also trying to stop the same new drug from claiming lives. They both have a common goal. They start working together. There is a connection forming between them. They can’t seem to stay away from each other. What does the future hold for them? Read this book to find out. I love that this story has a strong female character who won’t back down and is determined to find the truth about the drug that is coming to Chicago. You can’t help but root for her to succeed. Other characters interact with Orla and the Vigilante and I enjoyed reading about them. Then there are the characters who don’t care who they hurt. Will their plans succeed? This is a story that had me turning pages to find out what happens next and I didn’t want to put it down until I had finished the final page. I highly recommend reading it.

Cleo’s got a stalker and I love how we’re thrown in only knowing how much she wants to divulge as we go. And Mason, oh what a guy! These two were great to read and I enjoyed seeing those from book 1 around in this one and I so cannot wait to see where this series goes. Another amazing read!
Hidden Obsession (An Alliance Agency Novel Book 2) by Maddie Wade & India Kells. I just can’t get enough of these authors and this series. Like seriously the entire book kept me on the edge of my seat and I didn’t want it to end. From start to finish I was completely hooked and couldn’t put it down. These authors know how to hook readers and make sure the story is one that won’t soon be forgotten. The character building is so strong I felt like I knew these people in real life. The storyline is just as strong and comes alive right before your eyes. Cleo and Mason are probably my favorite characters this year and I’ve read plenty of books but these two just captured my soul somehow. It’s well written and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking anything. I love a book I can’t figure out right off and this story definitely delivers. Five stars all the way and highly recommend!
The first book in the series introduced Cleo and Mason. It was easy to tell that they had chemistry and were fighting it, but it was merely a hint of where their story starts. Hidden Obsession has action, romance, mystery, trauma, and suspense to take you through a plethora of feelings. It’s clear these two are right for each other even when they’re being stubborn or get lost in negative self-talk. The story consists of 3 or 4 sub-plots that unfold to make this story unique as they work together to bring out the emotions and build the story to its happy ending. This story has enough real in it to be able to visualize the scenes and feel the tension. This book is an outstanding addition to the series.

I literally couldn’t put it down I had to know what was going to happen next. I highly recommend ireading the Prequel and the first book in this series to get a better enjoyment of the Alliance Agency and everyone that is involved. This story is full of action, suspense, and even romance. Cleo and Mason, She is the office manager at Alliance Agency and very good at what she does and is very attracted to Mason. This story was pretty good. Cleo is a string character that has been in a position where she isn’t the one holding the cards. It’s crazy how much one can experience in such a short amount of time. I really enjoyed Mason. He was in my book a great male lead. Though his reaction to Travis wasn’t believable to me. I was shocked by how the story twisted. The plot got really juicy. Overall it was refreshing to read a story that didn’t sound like a big cliché. The authors did really well with building the story and characters. There were a few moments that I was like don’t be that chic Cleo. But it worked out. Normally books have my emotions in fifty million direction but this one kept it straight to the point. The side characters had a lot of interesting moments as well.

You literally could not go wrong with a Maddie Wade or India Kells novel. For this reason when the two team up you can imagine some pretty awesome reading is to be expected. These two never disappoint either. I absolutely loved Hidden Obsession. Everything from the gorgeous cover to the intriguing action that keeps you in suspense throughout. I adore the undertone of romance and how it doesn’t impede the greater picture, rather is compliments the whole thing.
Cleo is too fun to read. She finds herself being stalked, but unsure if it is someone from her past returning to be an issue, or someone completely new and unknown. Either way she is forced to face the past and find her footing here and now. Mason is our main man, and a swoony one at that. He loves his girl with the violet hair and would do anything to protect her from harm. The catch is, he needs to prove to Cleo he is what she needs and wants. The stalking with come back to bite them both eventually and make for some awesome chapters of reading. I can’t say enough good about this book and would score it 10 stars if I could. Unfortunately, I’ll stick with the 5 and try to patiently wait for the next fabulous book in this series.
Hidden Obsession by India Kells and Maddie Wade was steamy, action-packed read with a twist that I didn’t see coming. Mason and Cleo are co-workers that have been fighting their attraction for one another until Cleo found herself with a stalker. Mason being the protector type on man has Cleo coming to stay with him and that where things begin to shift in their relationship. Can Mason and the team of Alliance find this stalker before Cleo past catches up to her?
This duo is easily becoming a favorite that I can’t wait to read more of. I highly recommend this series if your like me and love some suspense with your romances.
Hidden Obsession by Maddie Wade & India Kells is the second book in the An Alliance Agency Novel series. This book can be read as a standalone however I definitely think you should read them all as they are just that good. Both of these authors are fantastic on their own and the combination of them together is just so powerful. This book was absolutely brilliant. It genuinely had me on the edge of my seat, heart racing and I could not put it down. I loved the whole basis of the story. It had everything you could want from this type of book. The characters were just fantastic. I really felt like I connected with them. They had such a chemistry that you could feel on each and every page. This series so far has been fantastic, and I cannot wait to read more from it. This collaboration of authors is definitely one of the best I have read.

As I have said previously, these ladies are two of my favourite authors, so when they team up to write a book, I just know I have to read it, no questions asked!! I am really loving this series- right from the gorgeous covers, to the superb writing, and all the intense action-packed and gripping storyline(s)- featuring such fantastic characters- so, colour me hooked. Like the first book, this is a romantic suspense- with intensity, action, danger, a stalker element, emotion, secrets, thrills, tension, intrigue, mystery, drama, chemistry, surprises, interconnected details, complexity…. and much more. The authors built the suspense, tension, intrigue, and drama superbly- holding me in the story, right on the edge of my seat a lot of the time- and kept me guessing the whole way through. The authors styles definitely complement one another, as the story is a really well written and polished piece of work-and is a testament to the authors writing skills and compatibility. I truly enjoyed this book! There was a lot of suspense that kept me on the edge of my seat. It was extremely well written and I highly suggest giving it a chance. There is a prequel and book one you can read before this one but I didn’t and don’t feel like I missed anything in the story but some characters do make appearances from previous books. Definitely worth a read.
Hidden Obsession was a great 5 star read and book two in the An Alliance Agency novel series. I was pulled in right from the beginning. This is Mason and Cleo’s story.
Cleo works at the Alliance Agency and she has definitely noticed Mason, however she tries to keep things professional between them. Mason has an attraction to Cleo that he wants to pursue, will he be able to break down her walls?
When things take a dangerous twist and Cleo ends up with a Stalker Mason’s protective side comes out and he is determined to keep her safe.
Will he be able to keep her safe and catch the stalker? What will happen when Cleo’s secret comes out?
Overall I really enjoyed this book. We get suspense, action, romance and so much more. I really loved Cleo, she is strong and independent. All of the secondary characters added a great element to the story. This can be read as a stand alone but I suggest reading from the beginning, it will help you connect with the characters better. Hidden Obsession by India Kells and Maddie Wade is the second book in the Alliance Agency series.
Cleo and Mason had serious sparks flying between them in the first book and thankfully they caved. I love Cleo and her free spirit. She is so comfortable with who she is and that is a quality a lot of women don’t have in books or real life. She quickly endeared herself to me and I think she might forever be my favorite, but we’ll see.
Mason is the opposite of Cleo. He’s a stuffy Brit at least at first glance, but we learn a lot about him outside of the office and I liked it.
I loved how the stalker portion of the story kept me guessing until they were finally revealed and wow what a revelation it was.
I’m really loving the series and can’t wait for the next one!

This is Cleo Darwin and Mason Bentleys story. I was shocked to find this book has that WOW factor. Yes that is what I said. I did not expect this novel to go as it did. Talk about twisted and romantic. Some suspense and romance. Oh lets not forget the Alliance Agency.That is this story.
India Kells grabbed me on page one. This fast paced story took off. I could not put it down, good thing I’m retired. This story has everything you could ask for. The characters just fit right in this story. I love that Cleo can defend herself. I love a strong woman, and Cleo is that strong. Then there is Mason, while he is strong and wise he does not treat Cleo like she is helpless. You have to read it to believe it! Well done Maddie Wade & India Kells!!!
Hidden Obsession is the second book in India Kells and Maddie Wade’s An Alliance Agency series. It is another action packed romance from the duo that sets you at the edge of your seat from Chapter 1! I love their writing and any time they release something new, I am there with bells on! Hidden Obsession gives us a violet haired office manager Cleo Darwin who is the embodiment of control and organization, and Mason Bentley who is the only one of the Agency staff that does all his paperwork on time and has a rigid control of his life but that is not the only thing that makes Cleo’s heart beat a bit faster when he is around. When Cleo is attacked and targeted, it is Mason who steps in and the rest is history as we say! We have loads of action, loads of danger and heat, a sinister antagonist and a family of co-workers that are there for each other whenever you need! Hidden Obsession (An Alliance Agency Novel Book 2) by Maddie Wade & India Kells is an action packed romance. Cleo is organized and a strong woman. When she is attacked and it is clear that the Amman who attacked her targeted her for a reason, Mason steps in. Mason is silent and sexy. Both have hidden a crush on the other for some time but no more. To keep her safe Mason keeps her close and their love blossoms. Can they find the stalker before he hurts Cleo any more than he has already done?
This novel was fast paced and easy to read. It can be read as a standalone from the series. I loved the development of the main characters and how well they fit together. The antagonist was also developed well and was very sinister. I had no problem breezing through this novel. It was a great action packed read.

Hidden Obsession by Maddie Wade and India Kells a five-star read that you will become obsessed with. This is number two in An Alliance Agency series and this series goes from strength to strength, this really is great story telling from these two. This kicks off with action and drama from the very first page, Cleo Darwin and Mason Bentley bring chemistry to the page that just leaps from it. Cleo is a great character, and I was rooting for her from the start, while with Mason, I don’t know it took me a little while to warm to, but do you know what when he got into his stride I couldn’t get enough of him, that protective show just made it all for me. Once you pick this up you won’t want to put it down, this series is great.

The characters are complex and complicated and the plot is engaging. It is a fast paced roller coaster ride from the first page to the last page. This story focuses on Cleo and Mason. This is a fairly quick read and kept me interested from beginning to end. I really enjoy book from these authors and it is great to see them team up again. Wow! The Alliance Agency Series by Maddie Wade and India Kells just keeps getting better and better. Hidden Obsession is Book 2 in the series (the third book if you add the prequel) and Maddie Wade and India Kells have totally blown me away with this book. As with all books that both these authors have written, this book grabs you straight from the very first page and takes you on the most amazing journey before spitting you out at the end thinking WTF!! happened there. This is the story of the Alliance Agency’s office manager Cleo Darwin and gorgeous British operative Mason Bentley. Both have been hiding their feeling towards each other for about a year but when Cleo’s life becomes threatened, Mason will do anything to save the woman he loves. This story has some amazing twists and turns and I’d be shocked if anyone could see the outcome of this story coming. OMG I did not expect that outcome. This is an edge of your seat page turner. Amazing writing and storytelling from Maddie Wade and India Kells. No wonder both these ladies are high on my list of favourite authors. I honestly cannot wait to see what these ladies come up with next, either on their own or as more of this awesome series.

This is a great story! Full of action! I couldn’t wait to read this story. These two are so cute together! I love how Mason knows what he wants and finally decided to go after it. Cleo has other ideas…..no dating coworkers. Until a stalker shows up for Cleo. Everything changes after that.
Cleo is a stubborn, sarcastic, out-going violet haired girls with a different past. Mason is a clean cut, suit wearing, polite former secret service bodyguard. Complete opposites but man they have some HEAT between them.
I loved hanging out with this group again. Seeing everyone and getting a refresher of what they all do and how they work alone but still get along so well.
The cover of the book…look at it, look at it closely. It completely shows how this couple is together. They are in tune completely and feel everything. I loved their interactions and love they have for each other.
I can’t wait for this next one in this series. This crew is becoming like family.

This is absolutely at this moment my favorite of this whole series. It was so full of edge of your seat reading and putting it down was completely impossible. Been in kind of a reading rut lately and was really looking forward to this book. First because I am in love with this new series these two amazing authors have joined together to create and second because these two amazing authors both always remind me why I love reading so much!
I highly recommend reading the Prequel and then book 1 to this series before reading this one just so you get the full impact of the Alliance Agency and all those that are involved. I’m thinking you could possibly read this as a standalone, but I can’t imagine getting out of it the same thing.
I love stalker stories, especially ones like this that have me trying to figure it out all the way through and of course always being wrong. This book has it all and Cleo and Mason were an awesome leading couple. The danger and the secrets and the OMG so Hot moments between these two..I just can’t LOL
I Loved It and absolutely as usual can not wait for more..These two authors joining together was a genius move!!
These authors…this series…this book…WOW!!! I didn’t think Kells and Wade could outdo themselves but they certainly have. They continue to set the bar high with the collaboration. The characters are rich and fascinating. There’s just the perfect balance of romance and suspense. Loved every page and cannot wait to see what comes next.
HIDDEN OBSESSION is book 2 in the “Alliance Agency” series and the way these authors co-write allow the reader to become immersed the story even if they are reading the series out of order.
While we are only on book 2, this is my favorite series from these writers to date. There is action and suspense and romance. The pacing is fast, timing is impeccable and the story is easily read in one sitting.
I absolutely recommend this book, this series and these authors.
