Covert Threat (A Gray Ghost Novel Book 5) By Amy McKinley. Once again the author pulled me right in. I’ll be completely honest I think this one may have been my favorite of the series but hey don’t tell the others. Once again the characters had me sinking right into their story and I didn’t want to leave. It’s packed with suspense and romance, with characters that you can connect with and they have a chemistry that comes off the pages in waves. It’s well written and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking anything. A book I’ll be adding to my read again list for sure. Five stars all the way and highly recommended!

I found this story to be a fascinating take on the fae world, combining my love of fantasy and travel. It was very imaginative and interesting. The characters were engaging and found myself very interested to find out what would happen next in the story. This author has a very intriguing voice and I look forward to seeing how the series continues. A very fun read!

This book is jam-packed with action, mystery and intrigue as we follow our main character on a quest for vengeance. I enjoyed reading it from the beginning to the end. You’re enthralled with Tanuja and the way the author makes you delve deeper into the story of how she must protect her brother all while staying awake to make it happen. I recommend this book any day for the action alone. But to the mystery draws you into the backstory. This is most definitely a great read!
Game of Fear was a good 4 star read and book one in the Fearless series.
Abbie has been working hard at school and has set her sights on going to an exclusive Ivy League school after she graduates. Abbie happens to come across a letter that was left in her locker, she’s confused as to why it was left for her.
Things take a twist when she gets a photo, now she knows this is more serious than she originally thought. She is at risk of losing all that she has worked so hard for. Can Abbie figure out who is black mailing her before it’s too late?
Overall I enjoyed this read. It has mystery, suspense, love and so much more. I enjoy a book where I have to try and figure out who is behind everything and this one didn’t disappoint. Once I started, I couldn’t get it done fast enough, I had to see how things came together in the end. You get pulled in with the authors writing and you feel like your right there with Abbie. The Istanbul Conspiracy is the 7th book in the Code Raven series written by Lynda Filler and she did not disappoint me I think this was the best book in the series. The characters are well written with strong personalities and I love their quirks and the way they interact with each other.
Luke and Samaar of the Raven Group have their own wedding to attend but it’s called off at the last minute when they uncover a breach in their security. Instead of returning to Paris, they come to the aid of the Turk to get to the bottom of this horrific event. Highly anticipated photos of the wedding of DJ Turk and the daughter of the Minister of Defense which has taken place on a mega-yacht on the Bosphorus in Istanbul now show’s corpses lined up along the dock and a bride covered in blood. Was this a random act of terror, a targeted assassination of the Turkish political elite, or an attack on DJ Turk who leads a double life. With the conspiracy they uncover they must prevent it before the balance of power in the world is perilously reversed. Lillie by Mya O’Malley is the third book in the Maggie Trilogy series. I recommend reading the other books in the series first to fully enjoy but this can be read as a standalone. Naomi is settling down into married life with her soulmate Bryce and his daughter. Officer Marty has asked for Naomi’s assistance and brings in the newest part of the story. I really enjoy the characters and the storyline the author weaves. There is some paranormal but it isn’t the only part making this an interesting story. I kept reading because I wanted to know where the story was going. I look forward to reading more from Mya O’Malley in the future.

WOW!! The second I finished this story I immediately went to find the next in the series and wouldn’t you know its not available yet 🙁
I am so in love with this series I cant even stress that enough. This was an edge of your seat kind of story. I started it and did not put it down until I finished, my head was throbbing because I was reading so fast, I couldn’t stop myself. There is a lot of moving parts in this book and I loved how each chapter let me know where I was and that told me who I was with.
Get ready because this book starts out with high energy and never lets go. I love this team..Luke and Samaar are right up in the top of my favorite book couples ever, and I was thoroughly invested in the new characters that were introduced and so glad that so many of my instincts were right with these people. The twists that kept making my jaw drop were placed so perfectly making sure the reader had no clue they were coming, and our little Alice is growing up, I love how she is taking after her momma yet holding on to so much of her normal childhood spirit. Her part in this whole story was written perfectly!
The ending!!! Pieces started falling into place for me and I had to stop and think about them before I read on making whatever wait time I have till the next book almost unbearable. Ive decided to do a complete reread of this entire series timed perfectly for the next release. There is no way I can recommend reading this as a standalone, you absolutely must one click this entire series..It is Incredible!

A Sun So Bright by K.G. Fletcher is r third book in the Reigning Hearts series. This book can be read as a stand-alone. I have to say for me the best bit about this book was the character development. I really struggled with Fiona at first, to the point where I wasn’t sure if I could finish the book. However as the book progressed her development was so interesting to read. By the end of the book I felt like I really understood her and was pleased for her. The book was well written and really shows the skill of the author. This is a great read overall.

Abbie knows what she wants out of her life and she knows that she has to work hard to accomplish those goals. For her, dating is a distraction, one she doesn’t want to toy with. She’s kept herself on the straight and narrow for so long. But even she is susceptible to mistakes. Someone out there knows of her mistake and is determined to make that moment be known to all. If this comes out, it ruins her dreams. Her family has already had to deal with her mother being framed for a murder and her father’s battle with cancer. To share the burden with them would cause more unnecessary hurt she feels. So she thinks she has no choice but to play the dangerous game the “avenger” wants to play.
Within all of the gameplay, Abbie lets down her guard, agreeing to date she finds out what it’s like to have the best of both worlds. She becomes closer to her friends, even opening up about what’s going on. Through them, she’s able to sort through the clues to reveal more and more dangerous levels the cruel avenger is willing to go to. In the end, who does it really end up being, a friend or a stranger?
I had read the 3rd book in the series by accident first and was determined to go back to the beginning. I’m so glad I did! I loved this book so much. It gives me so much insight into where Abbie ends up later in the series. Even though I thought the avenger was one person, the little bit of doubt was constantly there, messing with me. I felt like the answers were there, just out of reach! Through the whole book, I was sucked in and was ready to throw away my work for the day in order to just read more. I’ve already started book three and I plan on re-reading book 3! This was a fun thriller to read, and one that I’d love to go back to. It’s very well written and just fascinating!

Manda Mellett has changed my mind about the genre romance. I always look forward to reading her books. I just read Ink’s Devil (Satan’s Devils MC Colorado Chapter #5). This book is the best one so far. Her characters are complex and the way Mellett has written them I feel like they could be in my circle of friends. Most of her Satan’s Devils books can be a stand alone but trust me you will want to read the rest of her books. Ink is usually one night stand type of guy, but for Beth he could not leave it with one night. Once Beth saw Ink, she knew he was the one she wanted to be with. Something goes horribly wrong and now Ink is in jail and Beth should be the one in jail. Will Ink get out of jail because he is innocent and Beth go to jail? How will Beth get Ink out of this problem? You will have to read this story to find out what happens to Ink and Beth.

Ink’s Devil is the 5th book in the Satan’s Devils MC (Colorado Chapter) series. This series is right up there among my favourites ever. I don’t know how she does it but with each new book, Manda Mellett just gets better and better. Ink’s Devil starts exactly where we left Devil’s Dilemma, with Beth being introduced to Ink at Mel and Pyro’s wedding. Ink is adamant that this is one night thing and Beth is happy to agree. However both can’t get the other out of their head. That one night leads to a life changing event for both Beth and Ink. This book will grab you in straight away and take you on a fantastic journey where you will go through every emotion possible. You will not be able to put this book down. As always Manda Mellett writes the most amazing characters. Ink and Beth are both amazing and you will definitely fall in love with them both. As well as being told from Beth and Ink’s POV we get several chapters from Mace’s POV. I have to say that at first I really did not like Mace at all. I hated his treatment of Beth, although deep down could understand why he felt the way he did. Thankfully Mace redeemed himself before the book ended. I’m kinda hoping that this closer look at Mace means that Manda Mellett has him in mind for a story of his own. I really can’t wait for some sassy woman to come along and knock him on his ass.

Its an amazing story filled with sorrow but ending with happiness. I couldn’t put it down.

The Istanbul Conspiracy is the seventh instalment in Lynda Filler’s Code Raven series! I have read most of the series so it was an absolute pleasure to spend some time with the Raven Group again! I have to admit that it seems that the series gets more thrilling with each book and I have no idea how the writer does it!! You finish the story and think gosh, I wonder what they will be facing next and here it comes, nail biting rollercoaster ride! I love how every story has their own story line/case while still keeping the big picture that makes it really important to keep reading the series in order (it means that I need to go back and catch up and it is not a hardship!). The Istanbul Conspiracy takes the team on the road to help one of their own whose life turns into tragedy on the day that is supposed to be the their happiest day. I love the bond that binds the group together as they truly are there for each other, at times putting their own plans and needs aside like it is this time. Through twists and turns and guessing game we finally find out who, where and why and then, the writer throws in a special treat at the end! Thank you! I cannot wait to see what comes next for the Raven gang!

This was a bizarre book, with a pretty crazy plotline in which Tanuja Ramachandran becomes an instrument of retribution against the criminal underworld after her husband and children were murdered. Having lost everything, she’s out for revenge. It is fast-paced and action-packed but didn’t have much substance in terms of theme or message, so I found myself skimming a lot. It’s chaotic and violent and like a comic book, or more specifically, manga. The plot was confusing, but the writing itself wasn’t terrible.
Tanuja Ramachandran: Hunter-Seeker, by Kumar Sivasubramanian drew me in from the cover art. It is so bizarre, I figured it had to be good. This is the first book I had read by the author, but it seems like the 26th book in the series. I am curious to see what all the author has written prior to this, to have that long of a series. But, I wouldn’t be surprised by anything. First impression reading the book, I felt like I was reading a Quentin Tarantino movie. There was so much action going on, and it seemed to be totally random and not at all making sense. But slowly, it all fit into place. So give it time, be patient. Still totally strange story line, but entertaining none the less. Tanuja is seeking to find the truth behind her family’s murder, and her trek to get revenge. She and her brother are on a mission to find the creator of a mutant monkey from her past. They find themselves in Canada, trying to infiltrate a roller derby team. Another review summed things up perfectly: “an original tale of a gun blazing, sari wearing, narcoleptic woman, who has lost it all and is out for revenge.”
Tanuja Ramachandran: Hunter Seeker by Kumar Sivasubramanian was a refreshingly new read. I have been reading a different type of crime novel and this was a great twist. I enjoyed the pacing, it has become something I look for when reading. I enjoyed all the twists and turns that came up while reading. The story was action packed and fun to read.
Tanuja Ramachandran: Hunter Seeker is my first book by Kumar Sivasubramanian. It is a fast pace moving book. I did read it from page one to the last page in one sitting. There were times I reread the previous paragraph to make sure that I understood what was going on. There was a roller coaster ride with the main character Tanuja Ramachandran. She was a strong character that had a tragic family event. Her family was killed and she wanted revenge. Her character was interesting because there were challenges ahead of her. Will Tanuja get the revenge she wanted or will she fail? I recommend this story and see what happens with Tanuja.
Well that’s one way to start a book! This had me holding on tight and watching this all unfold. I felt like i was right there in the story. This author just paints such a great picture with everything she writes. So many twists and turns, I didnt know which way this was going to go and where we would end up. This isnt my first read by This author and I can’t recommend this series enough, read them all I promise you won’t be disappointed.

Legends: Kermode by Maggie Adams is a paranormal shifter book that was engaging and fun. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and the characters. I have found myself enjoying more shifter books as of late. This book has mystery romance. Overall I enjoyed it and would rate it 4 stars!

BELOVED (21st Century Courtesan Book 3) by Pamela DuMond was an excellent third addition to this series. Evie is my absolute favorite character. I love to see how she interacts with various characters. I was very excited for this story since it included the Wolfe brothers both. Easton and Wyatt both have their own attractive qualities yet are completely different. Also the intermingling Suspense from “Your Devoted Fan” kept things interesting. I am seriously addicted to this series and love this authors writing style. These books immediately pull readers in and the story flows easily from start to finish. I highly recommend this book as well as the series. It cannot be read as standalone.

Covert Threat (A Gray Ghost Novel Book 5) by Amy McKinley is a wicked tale of cat and mouse, life and death and twisty. Amy has done an excellent job of keeping us on the edge of the seat trying to work out what is happening and what is supposed to be an easy job turns into something much more deadly. Is she going insane or is there something much more sinister going on? I love the Gray Ghosts, I mean who doesn’t love a SEAL? And Amy writes a SEAL so, so well.
Jules isn’t sure if she is going insane. With everything going on she doesn’t know who to trust but when her big bad bodyguard is assigned to her she hopes like h*ll that he can keep her safe but that’s not all she hopes.
As the threats escalate Trev does everything he can to keep her safe but she is a hard one to keep out of trouble. Not only that but something is off, something that none of them saw coming.
Amy has given us another excellent book in the series.

Ink’s Devil (Satan’s Devils MC Colorado Chapter #5) by Manda Mellett is another superb read in this series. I can’t tell you how much I enjoy the MC clubs that Manda writes so well. I love the guys and gals of the club and love that each one gets their own story.
He knows what he doesn’t want and that is to be tied down. Nope, He is a biker with everything he needs. He will not succumb like so many of his brothers are seeming to do. Except that his one and done and a week worth of women does not get her out of his mind. All it took was a split second decision to see what she truly meant to him and now he will have a lifetime without her and nothing but his thoughts.
She wanted a walk on the wild side. He made it clear it was only once. After one night she can’t stop thinking about him but she knows the rules. BELOVED (21st Century Courtesan Book #3) by Pamela DuMond is a page turner and a tear jerker. You will need the tissues. Pamela once again gives us a look at complex and intriguing characters that you can’t help but fall in love with. Add in the mix of a stalker and some fear and you have one enthralling read.
Evie has empathic abilities which have helped her become the much sought after courtesan she is. Sometimes they bring her to her knees but she soldiers on to help those men in need. Easton Wolfe is now the new boss and he has a proposition for Evie that will change the course of her life. She has a chance to find redemption but also reconnect to the one person she has always loved. But lurking in the background is one scary and psychotic stalker that I believe Pamela has given us a glimpse of who it is.
Pamela as pulled the threads a little tighter and it feels like it is all coming to a head but then again you never know where she will take you.
I am very much anticipating the arrival of the next book.

Sky to Sea: Crimson Sash- Book 2 by Amanda Marin is a YA dystopian romance that is filled with suspense and action, fear and longing, love and suffering. Amanda paints a vivid and clever picture of the world she has created and her character building is spot on.
Neve and Micah are learning to live a new life after escaping from the Nation. They build their lives on the hope that they will be given refugee status and are doing everything they can to make that happen. But they continue to live with the horrors and the pain and suffering they were dealt before reaching New Republic and now must seek help.
Unfortunately life is never that easy and they find themselves in danger of once again being in the clutches of the Nation.

Never Date a Siren: A College Fae magic series #1 by Byrd Nash is fantasy story that is engaging and unique and feeds your senses and delights your inner self as you easily imagine what Byrd has written. It is a YA story that is well written and the world building is vivid. The characters are fun and sassy and it is and adventure that makes this story an enjoyable easy read.
Logan is a college student who is at the end of his tether after his encounter with a siren. But when he meets the sassy, feisty and mysterious Brigit, a dryad princess she becomes his teacher and due to his help a debt is owed and so she decides to help him fight the siren who has beguiled him and thus begins the adventure.

5 Star Kermode (Legends Series Book 2) by Maggie Adams is a wonderfully paranormal shifter that once I started reading I couldn’t put it down till the end. This is the second Book in the Legends series and can be read as a standalone but I recommend reading the first book as well. Piper’s new in town and just taken over her grandparents bakery and she’s been having weird dreams. Noah is grizzly bear shifter and senses a magical shift that not only threatens his family but his leader as well. What happens when Noah meets Piper? What does their future look like? Find out what happens next in this absolute must read. I can’t wait to read more from this Author.
