The Fisher Men X-ing Lines (Fisher Men Book II) by Rebel Nicks O’Dey – Review by Chantelle Smith

The Fisher Men X-ing Lines (Book #2)The Fisher Men X-ing Lines by Rebel Nicks O’Dey
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I absolutely loved this second book. This book is everything and more. It has romance, laugh out loud comedy and also touch on topics that are hard-hitting and really make you stop and think. Even though these books can be read as a stand-alone, I highly recommend book one being read first as it gives you a brilliant introduction and back story into some of the character’s journey in this read!
I was totally captivated with this read, I couldn’t put it down. It had me laughing out loud, also having totally fallen in love with the main characters and their journey, connection and chemistry change and come to life in this read! As well as the author just created an incredible story and writing it in such a way this was also a mentally visual read.

I highly recommend this read, I can guarantee that you will not be disappointed picking up this read from Rebel Nicks O’Dey, I cant wait to see what else she brings to this series, and who’s story we are being told next! Until then ill be re-reading this read over again until the third book had come together.

The Fisher Men X-ing Lines (Fisher Men Book II) by Rebel Nicks O’Dey – Review by Liz Vrchota

The Fisher Men X-ing Lines (Book #2)The Fisher Men X-ing Lines by Rebel Nicks O’Dey
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Rebel Nicks O’Dey has really won a spot in my heart with the Fisher Men books. The Fisher Men X-ing Lines is the second book in the series. I would recommend that you read the first book for the maximum enjoyment of the series and the building of the story. However, they could be read as standalones if you really wanted to start here. This one was chock full of good story lines and wonderful flirty romance. I have to say romantic comedies are usually an easy favorite for me but this one was just darn perfect. There was a wonderful dual storyline that played out and kept me on the edge of my seat to see how things would in turn come to a head. I loved the dimension it added to the novel, and it kept me engaged from beginning to end with not a dull moment to be had.

The Fisher Men X-ing Lines brings the much anticipated romance between Connor and Rika to life. These two are down right hilarious with the way they communicate and the routes they take to their love story. I enjoyed the different way they built a relationship over the texts and other forms of communication long before they ever fully met face to face. This is something that seems to be changing in our dating scene nowadays and it was nice to see that in a novel. I loved this book and I can’t wait to get my hands on the next one in the series.

Rogue Wave (The Inland Seas Series Book 2) by Gwyn McNamee – Review by Kerry Baker

Rogue Wave (The Inland Seas #2)Rogue Wave by Gwyn McNamee
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Rogue Wave by Gwyn McNamee is the second book in the Inland Seas series. If you haven’t read anything by this author before then I cannot stress enough that you need to change that. And this series is the perfect way to do it.
Gwyn McNamee can only be described as a pure artist. Everything she writes is perfect. It has the right amount of action and suspense, off set with romance and passion. Her characters are strong and relatable. They draw you into the story so fully that you are engrossed without even trying. That for me is what made this book so amazing. Cutter and Valentina were brilliant. The charisma and the chemistry they had both popped off the pages.
The book had the right pace to it as well. The author knew when to push it forward and knew when to draw back to let the story tell itself. This is yet another 5* read from this author and I cannot wait to see what else will be next.

Forbidden (Tales of Passion, Lust & Betrayal Vol. 1) by Autumn Sand – Review by Karyn Taylor

ForbiddenForbidden by Autumn Sand
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Forbidden is a tantalising, erotic novella from Autumn Sand. I have read several of her books over the last year or so and have become a huge fan of her writing. I would have read this book anyway even without reading the blurb as I’ve loved everything I’ve read so far, but the blurb made me REALLY want to read this book.
I love the way the book is structured, with the ‘narrator’ Neria introducing each story and teasing the reader as to their ‘reaction’ to each story.
There are 7 separate short stories, each described as being in a different room in a sex club for the reader to ‘watch’.
I don’t know how Autumn Sand did it but she threw in a curveball or twist to every story and I did not see any of them coming. Either I’m totally rubbish at guessing where a story is going, or the author has a very wicked, devious mind. I think it’s a little of the first and a lot of the latter.
Each story was uniquely different, although all had a very sexual content. If you are a bit of a prude then this book is not or you. You need to read this book with a very open mind. If you like a bit of erotica in your books then this is definitely the book for you.
A must read!

Virtue & Vice (Spicetopia #2)
By: Phoebe Alexander
5 out of 5 stars

The story Virtue & Vice (Spicetopia #2) by Phoebe Alexander is an amazing book to read. It pulls you in right from the beginning and doesn’t let you go until the final page. It is a story that is romantic and has steamy scenes that will make the temperature in the room rise. There is dirty talking as well. I enjoyed reading about the characters of Moon and Katja. They, along with Cy and Jolie, have an idea for a world where adults can play called Spicetopia. Will Moon and Katja take a chance on opening a themed world with Cy and Jolie? They have become good friends with Cy and Jolie. Is their friendship strong enough to endure the start-up of the themed world and all the work that goes with it? What does the future hold for Moon, Katja, Cy, and Jolie? Read this book to find out. This is a fast-paced story that will keep your interest all the way through. There is never a dull moment. I loved the dynamics that the two couples have. Will all their dreams come true? Don’t miss out on a book that will keep you glued to the pages until the very end. I highly recommend reading it.

All That's Left UnsaidAll That’s Left Unsaid by Rowena Holloway
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

All That’s Left Unsaid by Rowena Hollway is a great suspense thriller. Holloway’s writing style kept me on the edge of my seat. I could really feel what was going on like I was there all along. The characters are fully developed and interesting. Harriet is on a journey to repair her relationship with her mother. There are many different situations that occur that Harriet was not ready to learn about her mother. When one starts looking for information there is a rabbit hole and it is up to you to decide how far down the hole you want to go down. Will Harriet be able to repair the relationship? Will the rabbit hole be to deep? Will the silence be broken?

Forbidden (Tales of Passion, Lust & Betrayal Vol. 1) by Autumn Sand – Review by Cassi Rogers

ForbiddenForbidden by Autumn Sand
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Forbidden by Autumn Sand is a quick and easy read. I read this book on a whim because it isn’t very long and it seemed interesting enough to me. As it turns out the book wasn’t really what I was expecting, and I don’t mean that in a bad way.
In this book you are at club Forbidden and there are “7 doors” readers enter and go through, each of these doors have different short stories complete with different characters and setting. Each door is unique to itself. Mostly all of the stories have some kind of steamy scene in them. Some of the stories will leave you feeling content and satisfied and others will leave you irritated. Some of the characters are loveable and some who are less than that. I finished this book in a few hours. If you would like to see what happens here at club Forbidden, don’t miss out on reading this book.

Not Fade Away: Interstellar Rescue Series Book 4Not Fade Away: Interstellar Rescue Series Book 4 by Donna S. Frelick
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I give Not Fade Away: Interstellar Rescue Series Book 4 by Donna S. Frelick, 4 stars.

Rafe’s father, although a well-know military man, has been in failing health. Now it seems like there is someone out to kill him. So they decide to hide him on Earth. That where he is from and he has been asking to go there for a while now. They end up in a cabin in a small town in North America. It is unlike anything Rafe has experienced before, but it is quite peaceful. He cannot manage his father alone though so they decide to hire a visiting nurse. The woman who shows up is not what the expected. Claire and her dog come in to provide aid to his father. But Rafe cannot stop thinking about her. His father is in danger though, he does not have time for a love interest. Plus he cannot divulge where the really are from. Humans don’t know about how much is really out there. But how can he say no to this woman?

This is a great addition to the series. The main characters are so different from previous couples in the series, which adds another layer to a great story. There is so much going on, action, suspense, romance — you feel so much for these people. Oh and Happy is a wonderful addition!

This is a well written science fiction romance that weaves a wonderful world you will fall into and not stop reading until the book is done.

This is the second book in the series and can be read as a stand alone but I highly suggest reading the previous book first to help set the tone for this series. This is one of my favorite authors. She always pulls me into her story right from the beginning, they are fast reading and always leave you wanting more. In this book we get to see Moon and Katja’s story. Forbidden (Tales of Passion, Lust & Betrayal Vol. 1) by Autumn Sand – Review by Angela Hayes

ForbiddenForbidden by Autumn Sand
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Forbidden (Tales of Passion, Lust & Betrayal Vol. 1) is such a sexy, steamy little story by Autumn Sand. It is a novella length book which makes it a very quick and easy read- albeit a very HOT and spicy read.
I was completely hooked right from the blurb- and I couldn’t wait to dive in. I loved the concept of club Forbidden and the seven doors that lead to all the tantalizingly tales of forbidden pleasures, that seem to get hotter the more we progress.
The book lived up to all my expectations, but it’s Autumn Sand, so of course it would. I really recommend diving in with an open mind and let the book surprise you. I also recommend having something cool on hand because this book is sizzling hot- you will need something cool to alleviate the heat wave these tales will induce.
If you like your stories on the spicy side, then this is definitely the book for you.
Five Red Hot Stars!

Thank you, Autumn Sand!

Darcy’s Caution (Pride & Prejudice & Racecars Book 3) by Zoe Burton – Review by Angela Hayes

Darcy's Caution (Pride & Prejudice & Racecars Book 3)Darcy’s Caution by Zoe Burton
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Darcy’s Caution is the third book in the Pride & Prejudice & Racecars series of books by Zoe Burton. This is an interesting and modern take on the classic story, Pride & Prejudice. This is a sweet sports romance, with fast cars, drama, suspense, danger, stalking, overcoming difficulties, love, and some mystery.
In this story we meet Will and Liz Darcy. They’ve only been married for a short time, and have been through quite a lot together. Their relationship is loving and strong. They are a team. Will is a stock car driver who has attracted the attention of a stalker who wants Liz out of the picture. When Liz disappears Darcy won’t rest till he can find her. Does he find her? Or will he be too late?
This is my first read from Zoe Burton, so I really didn’t know what to expect when I embarked on this story- but I love Pride & Prejudice, so I decided to take a chance on it because I thought this sounded like an interesting take on the story. I am happy to report that I enjoyed this book and I will definitely keep an eye out for more books by Zoe Burton in the future.

Thank you, Zoe Burton!

Rebel Jewel (The Jewel Chronicles Book 3)Rebel Jewel by Natalina Reis
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Rebel Jewel is the third and final book in the Jewel Chronicles series and what a final instalment it was! I have really enjoyed this series and I have to say I think this book was probably my favourite even though it was really hard to decide that as they were all great reads!
I loved reuniting with characters Milenda and Jaali, I really enjoyed following their story as they continued their mission in Natale. I love the depth of these characters and how much they evolve over the stories. I was rooting for them both the whole way through the story to succeed in their mission!
The author really works hard with the world building in her stories and it really does make a difference – I am fully absorbed in what I am reading and can vividly imagine everything that I am reading.
I have really enjoyed this series and I 100% recommend it – from detailed writing to wonderful characters it made for an exciting and entertaining read.

Collision (Shattered Hearts Book 3) by Nicole Banks – Review by Shannon Fowler

Collision (Shattered Hearts, #3)Collision by Nicole Banks
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Collision is book three in the Shattered Hearts Series and needs to be read in order because Kris and Chase’s love story starts in the first book and continues to slowly burn and grow through-out all the books. Kris and Chase start out as friends. Their “relationship” is hard to describe in the fact that they don’t have one. They both want to be with the other but there is always someone or something standing in their way.
“Life could be a vicious b%^&* when she wanted to be. Nothing ever worked out the way you wanted it to.”
I enjoyed reading Collision. Banks writes a good story that keeps the reader engaged and wonder what could possibly hold them back now! This story has many secrets and twists with characters that don’t want to be vulnerable to each other but at the same time characters who can’t live without the other. I recommend this series and look forward to reading more from Banks.

Forbidden is the first volume of the Tales of Passion, Lust, & Betrayal series. It is a collection of steamy short stories. I will be honest, the tone of the narrator in the hostess sections was not my favorite. I love the idea of the club and the doorways, but the narration really didn’t fit. I will give kudos for creativity though. The short stories are entertaining and cover a variety of scenarios to keep you entertained until the last page. I found this book to be a quick and easy read. It makes for a great bedtime reading experience.

Collision (Shattered Hearts Book 3)Collision by Nicole Banks
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Collision (Shattered Hearts Book 3) by Nicole Banks is the last of the books in this series and it went out with a bang. I am sad the series has ended but look forward to what Nicole has in store for us next. The story is a romantic suspense with lots of angst and fear, hurt and sorrow, love and hate and new beginnings. There are so many emotions and you feel each of them along with the characters and the world she has created. The suspense is palpable as we play a cat and mouse game when evil is out for revenge. The story is told in several POV’s which I love because you understand the characters that much more.

Behind door number one, Kris has come face to face with the past and her one true love BUT is she willing to forgive him and give up the one thing that has kept her sane all these years.

Chase has come home to claim what is rightfully his but what he finds throws him for a loop. Not only that but evil has followed him and is willing to take out everything he holds dear and then some.

Shattered Hearts series is a must on anyone’s TBR pile.

Forbidden by Autumn Sand is full of 7 short forbidden stories that are erotic and reveal some deep and dark secrets that will leave you hot and bothered. This is certainly a different read from Autumn as it takes a look at desires and longing, betrayal and forbidden fruit. It invites you to participate in the darker side of life and forbidden sexual desires. It is a short read and a very clever idea.

Rogue Wave (The Inland Seas #2)Rogue Wave by Gwyn McNamee
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Rouge Wave by Gwyn McNamee is the second book in the Inland Seas Series
She has a way of grabbing you from the very beginning of the story and takes you on an amazing journey with her characters. I have yet to be disappointed with anything I have read by Ms. McNamee and I have been fortunate enough to read most of what she has written to date.

Cutter is the guy you see walking down the street towards you and you either find yourself crossing to the other side or doing everything possible to make sure he didn’t notice you. He is angry (justifiably so) and his anger is visible.

Valentina is awesome. She’s tough and not afraid of Cutter or calling him out on his bull. She is a great person to match up against him and they do go toe to toe a few times.

Great book two to the series and I can’t wait for the next one!

Rogue Wave was a great 5 star read and book two in The Inland Seas series.
All I can say is Wow, what a heck of a read. I was on the edge of my seat waiting to see what was coming next.

I was excited to get Cutter’s story. We got to meet him in the first book. In this book we get Cutter’s history which drew me right in and intrigued me.

Cutter is very edgy and not your typical man and I loved him. Valentina was a strong woman who was looking for her equal, and Cutter fit that mold. These two were so hot together you could feel the chemistry coming off the pages. We get some very steamy scenes from them.

Can these two get a HEA?

Overall I really enjoyed this book. There are several unexpected twists and turns that threw me for a loop. All of the secondary characters were great. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series. If you’re looking for a great MC read, I highly suggest you 1-click and get started today.

Much like the other two books in the series, Claimed kept me engaged from start to finish while managing to keep me on the edge of my seat.
By now, chances are you’re aware that the Torzial Affair series moves along in chronological order and shouldn’t be read as a standalone but it’s worth mentioning just in case. Claimed is the final book in the trilogy and while many trilogies feel rushed by the end, this wasn’t the case here. Via Mari truly has a talent for crafting stories that are hot and steamy with an exciting storyline.
