I have not read a romance novel in a really long time but decided to give this novel by Zoe Lee a try. I was not disappointed. The story of Dunk and Daisy was so real. It was at the base, a love story between Dunk and Daisy, but it also dealt with the reality of making a relationship work between two very different people. For me it felt real as it did not only deal with the romance but also with problems that can come up as you try to build a relationship. This book was real and I definitely recommend it.

The River Fairy’s Wish: A Lyrical Fairy Tale by Cyrena Shows was a cute short story that would be perfect for kids. There is great detail and color in the various illustrations in this children’s book. I loved that it could be sang or read normally. It is more tailored to girls than boys. It was sweet and fun. The words were precise and easy to read. I found it easy to follow the story. I definitely recommend this book for young girls.

Sharleen Scott took the subject of Alzheimer’s and makes a beautiful story out of it. Tangles is just that a story about an Alzheimer’s patient and a family’s relationships.Her characters are complex and I found it easy to fall in love with them as they became part of my family. Logan starts to go nosy around and finds journals. He read the journal, which made him stop and think about his family. This led him on a hunt to find out about who he has read in the journal. What will Logan find out? Will Logan be able to handle what lies ahead? Alzheimer’s diagnosis is a scary and it takes away from the people who are affected by it.

The Time Traveler’s Magic is Book One is the Magic Bound series by Anna Applegate. I really enjoyed Ms. Applegate’s Ariya Adams series, so there was no question of if I was going to read this book. I just snapped up a copy, and dove in to see what the story was all about. This really is a wonderful paranormal romance- with time travel, action, adventure, vampires, shifters, pirates, magic, drama, mystery, and more. There are so many fantastic, original, and surprising details in this story- I was hooked right from the first chapter. I will definitely be reading the rest of the series to find out what happens- especially after the way this book ended. The characters are well developed- with their own personalities, quirks and flaws. Ember really frustrated me, and I wanted to shake her a lot of the time. I loved Rane- he’s definitely my favourite in this book. I can’t wait to find out where this series will lead in the future instalments, and watch these characters grow and develop as the stories unfold. A great start to a new series!

The Complete Fenris series by Samantha MacLeod is a boxed set containing all five books in the series as well as the bonus short story. Such a great deal- six books for the price of one, and there’s no waiting between books! That’s a real win-win situation. This is a wonderfully original fantasy series: with romance, paranormal elements, magic, action, suspense, drama, adventure, steamy & erotic details, sexy scenes, ménage, prophecy, rich & vivid world-building- and all based on the Norse Myth of Fenrir, the monstrous wolf, who is also Loki’s son. I Have really enjoyed exploring all the books in this series as I can always count on Ms. MacLeod to deliver a fantastic, complex, and well developed story. It is a captivating read right from the very first page of Book #1, right through till the end of the final book. Ms. MacLeod is a talented storyteller whose unique take on Norse mythology made for a few hours of spellbinding reading. All the books in the series are on the shorter side, but the contents are anything but lacking- with a lot happening in a small space. But as usual Ms. MacLeod choreographs the whole series superbly. Weaving twists, surprises and unexpected developments that had me on the edge of my seat. Most of the books end on a bit of a cliff-hanger, and then the next book picks up where it left off. So, this is another bonus for buying the box-set, as you can begin on the first book and follow the story right through to the end, and not miss a thing.

Nicole Banks has found her way onto my oneclick, read anything, reread everything favorites list.
I loved this series and it is not possible to pick a favorite of the 3. I love them all but I think I’m kinda partial to Kris, I’ve loved her throughout and was so so glad this book was her story.
Ok so the story itself had me all twisted up, every emotion known to man was felt while reading this book. Im one of those that tries to figure things out as I go and once again I realize how bad I am at that, this author pulled the rug out from under me constantly and had me so invested in these people..All of them as it felt like one continuous story broke up into 3 parts, which is why I don’t recommend reading this as a standalone. Grab all 3 of them and make some time because your going to need it.
Reading this series has made me fall in love with multiple POV’s. It is done so well and I truly enjoy that.
I can’t recommend this book, this series, and especially this author enough!!

The Traitor by India Kells is the second installment of the Underground Bad Boys Romance series. It is a quick read that will suck you in from the very beginning. This is the story of Spencer Knox and Josie Baird. Spencer has recently moved to a small town and is now the owner of a mechanic shop. He has his dark demons and has done some things that he is ashamed of. Josie was recently separated from her ex-husband and must overwork herself to be able to pay him back so she can finally get divorced. While looking for another job to add to all the others that she needs to pay off her ex-husband, she meets Spencer and his friend Gage. The chemistry is undoubtedly instant and the magic that happens between these three characters, is like human combustion. If you are into ménage et trois (M/F/M), then this is the book for you.

Out Bad (Sinners or Saints Book 1) by Janice M. Whiteaker. This is the first book in the Sinners and Saints Series but its a lot like her Lost Boys Series and I LOVED that one. Its the story of Joe a ex high ranking biker gang member who has lots of bad stuff in his past. He left the biker gang and never looked back but not without burning some bridges along the way. He has guilt by the ton for things he’s done in his past but when he meets Gwen he knows no matter what he has to have her. Gwen is a sassy, hardworking some would say workaholic, beautiful woman who knows better than to get involved with a guy like Joe. Her sister Gabby just happens to be Joe’s best friend Heath’s wife and Gabby does her best to convince Gwen not to date Joe. Gwen finally has to tell her sister that she’s a big girl and she can take care of herself even though she’s not convinced. She doesn’t have the time for a relationship especially with someone with as much baggage as Joe. Joe’s also got some bad guys out to get him for leaving the club and the only way they know they can hurt him the most is thru Gwen. Will Joe and Gwen survive the Gangs attempt to make Joe pay? I have loved this series from the first book. It is a romance fairytale that will keep you fast reading through each book. Each book builds on the other to create a great Norse folklore fairytale adventure. The characters are strong and support each other and make the story come alive. I loved watching Fenris and Sol’s relationship grow through each book. Their story is one of trust, it is dark, sexy, and magical, what more could you ask for in a story. This is a must read!
This is a psychological-suspense thriller that I loved. I was pulled right into the story from the beginning. It had me sitting on the edge of my seat and kept me turning pages until the end. The twists and turns were engaging and left you guessing on what would happen next. Lincoln and Mina have great attraction but there is a mistrust between them especially when a dead body is found. Realistic characters in a great story that you will want more from. A must read.

This is my first book by this author, I enjoyed. This is a sweet fairy tale that I read in one sitting. This story is whimsical and full of imagination. This would make a great bedtime story for any young child. The artwork will keep them engaged and entertained. It reads like an old folklore song that is kind of catchy and fun. Find out what happens when a fairy gets a wish and what that wish would be. This is a great story with cute characters.

This is book 4 in the Intersteller Rescue series. This follows the story of Rafe Gordon who has been a rescue agent all his life. Rafe is caring for his father whos age is diminishing his memory. When an attack kills one of his father’s friends Rafe needs to find a way of protecting his father. The only option available to them was to return to earth.
On arriving Rafe hires a nurse by the name of Charlie to help care for his father but when Del starts to recount things that have happened while they lived in space she has questions about her mystery patient.
While Charlie tries to break down Rafe’s walls to get answers the alien enemies after his father circle closer. Can Rafe protect his father and have a relationship with Charlie without revealing his true identity or will it be one secret too many.
I loved this story and i have loved the series. The mix of romance and sci fi means there is something for everyone and leaves you gripped from the first page

Of War and Taters by Ashley Chappell a fun filled four-star read. I didn’t know what to expect with this story when I read the title, but just like we shouldn’t judge a book by its cover, I shouldn’t judge a book by its title. This was so funny I spat tea over myself, this story has a little something for everyone, its witty and funny with a sarcastic brush that just keeps it from getting soppy. The book is not too lengthy and I devoured this book in a single day, and it kept my interest from start to finish. This is the second book in the series and while I always read series in order, this book can be read as a stand-alone in my opinion. India Kells is an amazing writer, who has a way of drawing in her readers. She portrays all characters flawlessly while delivering stories that are nothing short of remarkable. Josie Baird has made some decisions in her life. She made a mistake of marrying a man who turned out to be abusive and has come to blackmail her to get his debt paid off. Josie wants nothing less that her freedom from the marriage so she is working herself almost to death, doing whatever she can to get to her goal. Spencer Knox has recently moved into her quiet small town, and took over ownership of a mechanic shop. Knox has many demons living inside of him from his upbringing and a choice that he had to make, which ultimately led to him being a traitor. He has an attraction to Josie but promises himself to keep it at bay, thinking that his demons are too much for her. However, on a whim an old friend from his past shows up at his shop. Knox knows that he can no longer stay to the side and let Josie work and wear herself down like she has been doing for months. He becomes protective and insistent on helping her, however he can manage. The three of them become somewhat of a couple because Knox still pushes his true feelings for Josie to the side. Is it truly easy to share someone that you want for yourself, even if you think you don’t deserve it?

One of the beautiful things about KU is that I get to read the book to the “littles” in my life without having to go to the physical library all the time.
THE RIVER FAIRY’S WISH is one which I will be purchasing hard copies of in the future.
It can be sung as you read which makes it super fun. The illustrations allow a little to pick out something new with each page turn and it reminds me of a Fairy Garden I saw while visiting Ireland.

CLAIMED (The Torzial Affair Book 3) by Via Mari is an emotional roller coaster of a story that will keep you on the edge of your seat from cover to cover. I was so emotionally invested in this book and it took me no time to read it. If you have already read the first two books in the series (which you should do before reading this one), you already know the characters Brian and Jenny. Both Brian and Jenny have been through so much in their pasts. Both have suffered hurt, angst, and loss. As a couple they have struggled through not only trust and commitment issues but also, trouble closing in from the outside of their relationship. Jenny was accused of brutally murdering her ex. She has been jumping through hoops and trying everything both she and Brian know to prove her innocence. The truth is finally brought to life in this book and the mafia assumes she knows too much and they go on the hunt to eliminate her. Brian and her friends will do anything and everything they can to stop the mafia from coming after the one they love. This last book has the perfect amount of romance, action, and suspense. I was shocked to see some things come to light and thrilled with the others. Via has a way of tricking you into believing one thing and then revealing another… I like it. I would highly recommend this series to people who love erotic romance books.

The Fishermen Xing Lines by Rebel Nicks O’Dey is the second book in the Fisher Men series. This book can be read as a stand-alone. Straight off I have to say just how much I loved the uniqueness of this story. For the two main characters to already technically live together but take so long to meet is a brilliant and inventive way of writing a book. The characters are also great to read about. They are witty and have a great chemistry between them. I quite often found myself laughing out loud at whatever they were doing. I truly enjoyed reading The Complete Fenris Series by Samantha MacLeod. It is a series that pulled me in from the very beginning and I found myself getting lost in its pages. I found myself staying up late into the night as I just had to read one more chapter. Each story takes you on a journey that I found entertaining and intriguing. I loved reading about the characters of Sol and Fenris. These are two characters that fall in love with each other. Fenris would do anything to keep Sol safe and protected. These books include action, danger, and romance. I love the mythology included in the stories. I couldn’t help but care for Sol and Fenris with each chapter that I read. The books have romantic scenes that make the temperature in the room rise. I also enjoyed reading about the additional characters that are introduced and interact with Sol and Fenris. There are those who are helpful to the couple and then there are those whose motives I questioned and wondered what their true agenda is. This is a series that I would highly recommend reading.

This is one wild ride! It is full of action that doesn’t seem to stop. I was worried about this book because i do not read time travel stories. I gave this one a go because I have read other works by this author that have been grand. I was pleasantly surprised over that element in this book. There is also an undercurrent of attraction that helps to keep me turning pages. Will they or won’t they? *Turns page* OMG they are so close *Turns Page* That Look…That touch *Turns page* …ARRG!
That sweet romantic attraction isn’t the main story. It’s about finding out about your powers and learning to use them. Saving people and also being glad you are not paranoid hearing all those voices in your head. As well as learning there are Paranormals in this world…Oh and easily hating the MacGregor! This is chock full of many many things.
I love love love this book and read it late into the night. To say it consumed me is an understatement. Just ask my neglected family and my groggy AM brain :). This author is wickedly good at writing this suspenseful tale. The story flows so perfectly and I wasn’t bothered by the time jumps at all. The ending does have a kind of pause button and she is using that as a lead in to the next book. I am not pleased with this as this author writes well enough she doesn’t need to use those ploys to get people to read the next book. The characters were wonderful to get to know. I mean who wouldn’t want a privateer or a vampire to hang out with? Next please!

I found the story Pieces of a Lie by Rowena Holloway a wonderful book to read. It pulled me in from the beginning and didn’t let me go until the final page. It is a story that had me at times turning pages to find out what was going to happen next. You will find yourself glued to the pages. There is mystery, danger, along with some twists that I did not see coming. I enjoyed reading about the characters of Detective Lincoln Drummond and Mina Everton. Lincoln finds himself disgraced and sent to a small Australian town. He finds that he is unwelcome and sometimes he finds open hostility. He is on a case that involves antique robberies. When he meets Mina, he believes that there will be a quick ending to the case and his career will be back to normal. What he doesn’t expect is the strong attraction that he has for Mina. Mina is a woman who is haunted by her past. She lives each day with memories and guilt. Now a detective shows up and she finds herself a suspect in crimes that are being committed. She also finds herself strongly attracted to Lincoln Drummond. Is Mina involved with the antique robberies? Why is she associating with Slab Carlson, a crime boss? Tracey started riding motorcycles at the age of sixteen. A month shy of her eighteenth birthday, she left for Army basic training. She went on to get her helicopter pilot license outside the military, and has spent time with search-and-rescue teams in Idaho.
In 2019 she returned to school to re-certify as an EMT (Emergency Medical Technician), and currently works at various sporting and music events when she’s not processing orders for the family business (Leader Motorcycle) or working at a substance abuse counseling center.
Tracey lives in small-town Minnesota with her husband, two kids and two cats. They are a true “soccer family” (she even worked as a referee for two years). She enjoys downhill skiing and spending time at the family lake place.

Shameless (The Orphan Train Saga Book 2) by Sherry A. Burton is a five star novel. Please read the first book in the series, Discovery, before picking up this one. This series is an awesome way to pick up on the history of our country in this time period. Many people have yet to discover the time of the Orphan Trains, and had no idea that this occurred in our more recent American history. As we travel through the life of Tobias, we really learn what life can be like for a young boy trying to find his way in the world by himself. I also loved getting to know more about Cindy and her mom and their relationship. Their relationship has grown so much because of Cindy finding her grandmother’s journals and actually taking the time to read them.
