5 Star A Person Could Disappear Here By Terri George is a mystery thriller that had me hooked from the beginning, I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough. I had to know what was going to happen next.I was on the edge of my seat pretty much the whole way through. There were times I wanted grab Abbey and shake her while shaking my head at her. There are some twists and turns that had needing to know what happens next. I highly recommend this book.

Devils Backbone is book 5 in The Wild Beast Series by T. Birmingham. This is such a great series and you never know what to expect. Devil’s Backbone is no different. This is Tess’ story and it’s all an emotional one. As you learn about Tess’ past and her past comes back in the form of Been everything gets more complicated. Will Tess come out of her shell and stand up against everyone and figure out what going on before its too late and she really looses everything. The storyline pulls you in right away and keeps you wanting more. Tess is a special character and she sticks with you after your finished.

Coming Home by Jane Suen is the sequel to Flowers in December. The second installment was just as good of read as the first. This book had such a heart warming story. Small towns and going back home are always my favorite reads. I couldn’t put it down. These are some of my favorite characters in a long time, and I hope we get to see more of them in the future. I really like this author and can’t wait to read what this author writes next. I give this book a solid 5 stars.

Knights Who Won My Heart is the fourth book in the Knights series by Sonya Jesus. I highly recommend reading this series in order because there is so much that goes on it is necessary to get the best reading experience possible. I have been excited to get my hands on this one since i read book three and it was soooo good. There was so much going on in this book that i did not expect and i was on a huge emotional roller coaster that i didn’t want to end. The characters are fantastic and i loved seeing where their story was headed. I am excited to read more by this author and i would recommend this to a friend!

A Wicked Earl’s Widow (Once Upon A Widow Book 2) By Aubrey Wynne. I’m slowly but surely becoming a fan of historical romance stories and this one may have just pushed me over the line. This is is not only well written but it’s a journey I enjoyed taking with these wonderful characters. I’m a sucker for characters that have a bit of a back ground I can understand and connect with. The author does a wonderful job of writing a storyline that had me completely hooked and wishing it didn’t have to end. It’s well written and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking anything. I’m giving this story a five star review and highly recommend it and the author.

Wow, this story took me on an emotional rollercoaster and kept me on the edge of my seat throughout the entire read. This is a captivating mystery that I could not put down. The way this book is written made it so I felt a strong connection to the Abbey and Cristina and I really loved how strong their strong friendship is. This book is so real and even if we don’t want to we also get to know her abductor Jensen as well. There are moments in this story that are hard to read but those moments are part of what makes this such a great read. In order to find out if Cristina finds Abbey or if she escapes this is a must read. There definitely some unexpected twists, I’m not going to give anything away, so let me just say you definitely need to read this book. I highly recommend this five star read.

This is one of those lovely romance stories that is the perfect read after a long hard week.
HIS FIRST LADY is a well plotted story that is the perfect blend of romance and friendship and misunderstanding while navigating a life worth living. The characters are well defined and likeable.
This is one of those stories that is fun to get lost in for a few hours. It was entertaining and satisfying and definitely recommend it.

Everyday Enchantments: Musings on Ordinary Magic & Daily Conjurings by Maria F. DeBlassie is a collection of short musings from the author. She embraces the everyday things in life and brings that to her readers. This is a book that can be read a chapter at a time or all at one time. I like the author mentions things that we might take for granted and bring enchantment to them. She also is relatable. I read this during my lunches during a stressful week at work. I went back after lunch with a renewed sense of spirit and was able to finish my work day in a better mood and able to look at the little things differently.
A Person Could Disappear Here is an addictive novel that I could not put down. There is mention of rape, abduction, and abuse in this novel that one should be aware of before hand in case the reader is not a fan of something like that. There were several difficult scenes that I read through. My heart ached for main characters Abbey and Cristina. They both had their own forms of torture taking place in this novel. I really enjoyed the storyline though even if it was a bit darker than what I usually read. I do highly suggest this novel though!

A Person Could Disappear Here by Terri George was a raw realistic read, that will have you second guessing what you believe to be true, and have you wondering what you would do in Abbey’s shoes.
My first read by this author, and I have to say I’m going to be adding them to my watch list. This story was a tough one, it’s as I said, raw, emotional and has many grey areas. It makes you think, and it showcases the dangers of grooming and stockholm syndrome. It’s easy to judge when you’re not the one in the situation. Terri Geros did a wonderful job with this book, talented you can tell heavy research went into this read.
Told in dual POV, we not only get Abbey’s journal like entries we get her best friends Cristina’s. She truly shone and was a major driving force in this story. Relentless, nothing was going to stop her, and I loved that strong friendship and love. I liked how Addy’s story was told through the journal like entries, it felt more personal, and it makes you connects on a deeper level. It’s helps with the outside looking in, and it adds a layer of complexities to the plot, instead of you’re normal, disappear and find, type mysteries.
Overall this book is a super high recommendation from me, and it gets my stamp of approval. You will not regret this read, even if some parts will be harder to read then others, but that realism, that real world situation, makes this book more than a must read, but a necessity. It highlights the dangers that surround social media, fake personas, and how easy it is to completely have someone fall head over heels, not knowing what hells await.

Hazed by Brittany Butler is the first book in the Hazed series. This is an intense book that deals with college independence, romance, opposites attracting, and addiction. The story is about Taylor who has left home and the strict rules she is used to following. She meets Hayze, who is a bartender where she works. There is an attraction that can not be ignored. The story is interesting and kept me wanting to read to find out what happens to them. I did not necessarily relate but can understand that first taste of independence that Taylor is experiencing. Some of the topics were really tough to read about but were a necessary part of the story. It lent itself to the ups and downs and emotions of the characters. Overall, I enjoyed this book and will be looking for the next book to continue the story.

Coming Home by Jane Suen is the second installment of the Flowers of December series. It is the continuation of the Connor Norton’s story. He has come back to his hometown during the Christmas holiday, after grieving the loss of his mother. Tom, Connor’s mom’s cat, has been helping him during the grieving process. While in town, he is reunited with Mary Ann, which he would love to rekindle their relationship. Mary Ann is currently in a relationship with someone else, but could a Christmas miracle bring her and Connor back together? This is a short read with a great storyline that will keep you engaged until he end. Keep the tissues handy for this emotional story about love, healing and forgiveness. I highly recommend this series and look forward to more great books by Jane Suen.

With cross generational clashes, Fae, and a plot you could get whiplash from, Christy Nicholas has added another winner to the Druid’s Brooch series. I hadn’t read a book from this series in a while and after I finished this one, now I want to go back and read the others all over again. I am in love with all things Celtic so the traditional names, places, and mythology draw me in from the get go. However, people who aren’t as well versed will still find this story and the rest of the series to be in a fantastic world that will draw you in like quicksand. Maelan’s confliction over letting his granddaughter, Orlagh, live her own life and make her own choices is a subject that every parent/grandparent will struggle with and how Christy expertly blends it into 12th century Ireland was my absolute favorite part of the plot line. The fights with the Fae are fantastic, don’t get me wrong. But the teenage struggles for independence and personal autonomy have always been fascinating to me and I love seeing it in this light and time period.
The fifth installment in the Druid’s Brooch series can easily be read as a standalone but I highly recommend the series.

Devil’s Backbone (Wild Beasts #5) by T. Birmingham is a great story in this amazing series. It is a paranormal fantasy romance like no other and in this book the main female character is broken and scarred for life and will invoke many, many, emotions. It is a story that will make your heart ache but it will also make your heart melt. T’s writing is made of magic and her imagination knows no bound when it comes to the paranormal. There is also some folk lore woven amongst the story that makes it that more interesting and unique.
Tess is damaged and in hiding from the horrors she that were inflicted upon her by a family that should have loved her. Many years later she still hides from herself, others and especially the man she loves. Will she be strong enough when she once again comes face to face with that past?
There is mayhem and madness, suspense and action, magic and steam that will have you constantly on the edge of your seat. This series is not to be missed.

Back in the Ring by Brooke May was my first book this author, it might be the fourth book in the Predator series but you don’t need to read the other to fall in love with this wonderful second chance romance. Bijou Augustine is a young widow who’s struggling to keep her husband youth center running while raising her “tween” daughter. Everyone in her small town is telling Bijou to sell the center but she is very determined to keep her husband’s dream alive. Can a stranger willing to help out at the center, be the second chance Bijou needs?
From the prologue to the epilogue you will go through some many emotions and feel everything Bijou and Noah go through. I am always a little nervous reading a new author because you don’t know what their writing style is like. But I can honestly say this Brooke’s writing flowed easily and kept me flipping the pages. I can’t wait to read more from this author.

A Person Could Disappear Here by Terri George is a suspense thriller and Wow, my mind is officially blown. Never in a million years would I have predicted the ending. Wow, just Wow. So not what I expected. The storyline is like nothing I have read or imagined. It is a gripping and captivating tale that is raw and powerful and also sinister in its development. Terri has masterfully woven the threads of this tale and turned it on it’s head. It is not an easy read but there is no putting it down as you have to know, you need to know how it ends. Emotionally you will not be the same. On the edge of my seat was an understatement. Heart beating in my chest with thoughts of fight or flight in my head I continued on and once again, WOW. The things we do for love.
I am not going to talk about the plot, which is so clever, I will leave it for you to read and enjoy on your own.

Sonya Jesus has once again blown me away with another incredibly captivating read in the Knights Series. Knights Who Won My Heart picks up straight after where book 3 ends. You are thrown back into this book that’s full to the brim with twists and turns, nail-biting and edge of your seat thrilling action that hooks you right from the start. This is one book that giving too much away in a review will really give it all away, this is a book that is meant to be read by all! This should be read as part of the series for the full effect of brilliance that comes from this powerful, engaging read. The characters are strong & real they face emotional rollercoasters throughout that at times are raw but this book wouldn’t be the same without it!
I cannot wait to see what else is to come from this author. But with that being said, this book shouldn’t be missed and neither shall the series! Don’t miss it!

I loved this mystery-thriller from cover to cover. This is a well written story that is engaging and creative. I loved the twists and turns that left me sitting on the edge of my seat and kept me turning pages. This is a story about hope, survival and friendship. Abbey meets a man on Facebook but she finds herself trapped in his house. When she doesn’t come home her friend Christa decides to go find her. What happens after that you will have to read but it worth picking up and a must read.

This is a clean historical romance story that I enjoyed cover to cover. It is a fast, engaging, well written story that I read in one sitting. Eliza is a woman who has not had the best of life. She has an abusive father who arranged a marriage only to have her husband die. Now she finds herself facing another arranged marriage by her father. You will have to read this book to find out what happens next. The characters are strong, connectable and lovable. I highly recommend this story.

This is the fifth book in this series, it is just as enjoyable as the previous books in this series. In this book, Maelan is faced with making a choice with his granddaughter, Orlargh. What will happen when she falls for Timurir? Will she rebell and what are the bargains Orlargh must make to save her? These are great characters that keep the story engaging and come to life for me. I also enjoy the Fae, they are creative and bring twists to the story. I highly recommend this book.

This is a creative, engaging story that has a little bit of everything in it including some steam and an emotional ride. This book is about Tess and Ben. They are fated mates that have been apart for awhile. Tess has been living a quiet life until body parts start showing up, not only body parts but Ben shows up too. Will he convince her that he isn’t such a bad guy? These are great characters that bring the story to life for me and the add to the story. I highly recommend this book.

It pulls you in from the very beginning and doesn’t let go until you have read the final page. It tells the tale of Abbey who learns that the man she met online and now has come to see in person is not who she thought he was. She finds herself abducted and held in a house in Nebraska. Far from home, she holds onto the hope of rescue and also looks for ways to escape. Cristina is Abbey’s best friend. She knows that something is wrong when she doesn’t hear from Abbey and can’t contact her. Cristina is stubborn, feisty, and not afraid to say what she thinks. She is also kind and won’t back down when she sets her mind to a task. She goes to the states in search of Abbey. Will Cristina be able to find the clues that will lead her to Abbey? Will Abbey be rescued? Read this book to find out. Following Cristina, while she tries to find Abbey is like trying to put together a puzzle. This is an exciting read that had my emotions going up and down all the time. Cristina and Abbey are best friends and you can feel how much they care about each other. A Person Could Disappear Here by Terri George. This book is amazing. It hooks you as soon as you read the first chapter. Its the story of Abbey who lives in London and just like every other young girl in the world is looking for love. She meets a guy named Jensen from Denver on Facebook who she corresponds with for a lengthy period of time. He finally convinces her to fly to Denver to meet him.. Her best friend and flat mate Christina is totally against this. Once Abbey gets to Denver and meets Jensen he seems to be everything she’s looking for until he’s not. Parts of the book are brutal but so true to life. This is something that could happen in today’s crazy world. Its about friendship and the depths that a friend will go to in order to save her friend. This book was amazing and I read it in one sitting. I’m going to look up all Ms. George’s books and read them.

Well this book started off in a way i’ve never experienced, but it sure is memorable. This was a very quick read and i won’t recap the synopsis either. But I did laugh and enjoy reading this book and this authors take on what happens after you pass on. Can’t wait to dive into the next book.

The characters and the story just seem to come to life as you are reading about them. It was easy to picture yourself in the setting the author created. The Billionaire and the Therapist is the first book in the Clean Billionaire Romance Reads written by Kim Koby. This is a sweet love story about second chances. The characters are amazing and well written and I really enjoyed the plot
Natalie is a kind-hearted, caring speech therapist. She had to start over in Texas and put her past behind her. But now she is also overwhelmed at the prospect that the man who once stalked her could be released. All she wants is to feel safe again.
A few years ago John Callahan lost his wife in a tragic car accident now he is a single father to their daughter Catherine. He is at his wit ends when it comes to his daughter he knows they’re not the same but when she goes from a happy talkative little girl to not speaking. So how does he help his daughter he hires a speech therapist and you guessed it its Natalie. He will do anything for Catherine.
You could see the sparks fly when these two meet. So when their feeling start to deepen John is worried what Natalie will do when his secret comes out. Will Catherine talk again? Can Natalie help Catherine? Can Natalie and John move far-word with their lives? Will their past come back to haunt them?

The Chosen (The Orb Quest Series, #1) By Cari Schaeffer Rated 4 stars
This is a good strong start to a interesting story. I was drawn in right from the prologue and it didn’t let go until the end. This is filled with action, suspense and wonderment. These four have quite an adventure ahead of them! I am excited to read the second in the series to find out what happens next.
This is my first book by this author. The story flowed and engaged nicely and had ups and downs. The characters were easy to identify with and seemed fun and they acquired some exciting powers. I can’t wait to see how they are able to use them in a real world scenario. I enjoy the identifying markers that make these four different. What can they do in the future?

I really enjoyed Yearning Young, the second book of the Burning Britely series from Deidre Huesmann. I would recommend that you read the first book before you jump into this one, just to kind of have and idea where things are and who the characters are. This continues with the coming of age theme for Jeff and Braeden, only told from Braeden’s point of view this time. I really enjoyed that twist and seeing things from his angle. This does touch on several emotional and touchy topics that are often overlooked or not discussed enough among teens or young adults like they should be and like I mentioned in my review of the first book this would be a great tool to introduce the topic among classes or children of your own etc. I love how Huesmann keeps things realistic and raw without drowning out the the topics at hand, and yet she keeps the storyline at the forefront to keep the reader fully engrossed. I can’t wait to see what is to come next! Thanks for the emotional and thought provoking read Ms. Huesmann!

I truly don’t know where to start with Knights Who Won My Heart, or better yet I don’t know the exact words that I am looking for that will do this book the justice that I want to give it in this review. I have followed this series from the very first book, Knights After My Heart, which I suggest is where you start if you have not read the full series, and then complete them in order for the best experience. You will want to grow along with the Lia and the rest of the characters that you will get to meet and fall in love with. I absolutely just could not put this down till I found out how things would turn out for everyone in the end. My only sadness comes from the fact that this is the conclusion of the series. I do however look forward to finding out what we will get next from Sonya Jesus. Whatever it is, I am sure it will be as fantastic as this series if not better!
