5 Star Souls Collide : Collide Series Book 3 By Kristina Beck is a wonderfully written book that once I started reading I had a hard time putting it down. Alexa is a smart beautiful caring and compassionate woman who doesn’t shy away from speaking what she’s thinking. Kent is a police officer who sometimes comes off as unsympathetic and has a poor attitude. Then comes in Alexa ,when these two meet at first there are definitely conflicting sparks between them but then something starts to change and he becomes protective over her especially when a stranger starts lurking around her.Can these two have a future together? Will they work through there different views and have a relationship? Find out what happens next with these two. I highly recommend reading this Book. I look forward to reading more from this Author.

The Debt Collector: An Underground Bad Boys Romance by India Kells is an amazing read. This fast paced book is full of action, suspense and hot sexy love scenes. Tessa is a doctor, who helps young girls that come into the er get out of a sex trafficking ring, but the guy who owns the girls kidnaps her to get repayment for the girls. Locke, The Debt Collector, buys her and the actions starts there. This book held my attention from beginning to end. This is not the first book I have read by Ms. Kells, butit is my new favorite. If you are looking for a hot romance, this book is definitely for you. I highly recommend this book.

Souls Collide is the 3rd book in the Collide series by Kristina Beck. Each book can be read as a stand-alone. I hadn’t read either of the first two books in this series but after reading Souls Collide, I’ll definitely be looking to read the others as this was a definite 5 star read. Souls Collide is an opposites attract story. Alexa and Kent are about as opposite as you can get but this is not just your typical run of the mill opposites attract story. This book is filled with suspense that will keep you gripped to the very end. There are also many twists and turns in the story. Just as you think you’ve sussed out what Kristina Beck had in mind for these great characters, the story will turn and leave you open mouthed, wondering what the hell just happened. Police officer Kent Hayes has watched his mother die from cancer and is now going through the horror again as his beloved sister Abby is now fighting this brutal illness. One thing Kent hates is the pharmaceutical industry so when he meets the beautiful Alexa, who happens to be a very successful pharmaceutical rep, he really wants to hate her. Shame his traitorous body didn’t get the memo. While Kent is moody and not the most fun person to be around, Alexa is a complete ray of sunshine and totally lights up every room she walks into. When Alexa is threatened by a stalker, Kent realises that he will do absolutely anything to keep her from harm. This is a fantastic read and the characters are so well written that you can’t help but fall in love with them. I will definitely be seeking out the first 2 books in this series.

The Mother-in-Law is a shocking psychological thriller by Judy Moore. It is a story that will astound, anger and impress you. Astound you in the way a sinister mind works. Anger you because of the audacity and evilness that lurked on top of the surface, but is completely looked over by some. Impress you with the intricately twisted and spellbinding way in which it is written.
A young woman does the seemingly innocent thing of falling in love. It should have been the best time of her life, and it started out so well, but then she met the Mother-in-Law. Harsh and cold, it wasn’t easy getting to know her, but our leading lady persevered and wanted to have a good, healthy relationship with her. But things did not add up, and no matter what our lady did, it was frowned upon. The leading man just wanted everyone happy, and sometimes just did what he needed to keep the peace. A thrilling read that frustrated me immensely, but kept me riveted to these words.
The Mother-in-Law was astonishingly and powerfully written. Many eye popping scenes that defied human compassion and feelings for man and family. It illustrates the ugly nature of a psychopath, and the lack of conscience these monsters display. A mind twisting suspenseful drama that had me glued to each word. 5 stars.

Anyone else a sucker for second chance romance? They get me every single time. And Sorbe does a magnificent job with these characters and this storyline. Detailed, rich, solid – everything felt relatable and tangible. I loved it from the first page to the last and hated to see the story end. Beautifully written. I will definitely recommend to others.

From beginning to end, just a fantastic book. I read this as a stand-alone and will go back to read the rest of the series to get the character development pieces I missed coming in. The author does a fantastic job weaving the storyline and characters together seemlessly. Hands down, this book grabs the reader on page one and doesn’t let go. I’m sure I’m not the only one that lost sleep to finish its pages. Highly recommended.

Finding Juniper is the third book in the Smoke series by Sadia Ash. I was so excited to find that this book had finally been released, as I had been waiting to continue Juniper and Kyle’s story. I loved the first two books, so I did have quite a lot of expectation for this one. I am happy to say that this story was worth the wait and Ms. Ash lived up to all my expectations, delivering a captivating story that had me hooked from the very first page. As with the first two books, the characters are complex, well-developed individuals with their own quirks and flaws. They were completely believable, and very easy to get emotionally invested in. They were so well written, and I loved how they continued to develop and grow over the course of the series. There were times they frustrated me so badly that I really wanted to knock their heads together and tell them to get their acts together, but I adored them non-the-less. The story has a lot going on in it, but in a good way- Ms. Ash masterfully choreographs all the elements into a smooth and engrossing read. There was plenty of emotion, suspense, tension, drama, chemistry, steam, and some humour- which made for an exciting read! I really can’t wait to see what Ms. Ash does next!

Rising Star by Susannah Nix is a sweet romance book that has a wonderful storyline. It is a romantic tale that is fun, cute and written. I loved the easy relationship and banter between the main characters who I loved loved loved. They both have well imagined backgrounds and strengths and vulnerabilities as well. It is a bit of an emotional read as it hits on a tough subject but Susannah handled it well. Alice is caring and smart and a beautiful soul and on her way to a Ph.D but that doesn’t pay the bills, yet. Griffin is on his way to stardom and offers Alice an answer to her problem. Trust is hard for her but she says yes and that is when things change between the two but he holds all the power to take it all away. That was when I wanted to smack him. Don’t miss out on this sweet romance story.

Surviving the Storm is the second book in the Surviving series by Virginia Wine. It is my favourite of the series so far. This is a great contemporary romance with an insta-love element, obstacles, suspense, tension, some action, secrets, lies, mystery, drama, great chemistry, danger, and more. Alexander and Madison drew me into their story and kept me flipping the pages to find out how everything plays out. They really took me on an emotional rollercoaster ride- from anger, to heartbreak, and happiness- this story had it all. There were some parts that were a little difficult to read because I really felt for the character/s and what they had/were going through. I really got completely invested in these two characters and the outcome of their story. They really were so perfect for one-another, and I was cheering them on from the sidelines, the whole way, watching them deal with the obstacles they had to negotiate, wishing them to succeed- to find their happiness! A great addition to the series and I look forward to reading more of this series.

The Debt Collector is An Underground Bad Boy Romance by India Kells is such an unexpected surprise story, it was awesome. I really like reading India’s stories, they are wonderfully written and this one is no different. There is lots of drama and danger, heartache and intrigue, suspense and pain, demons to be slain and pleasure and romance and boy oh boy does it sizzle. So much so that a cold shower will be on the agenda. I was so devoted to India’s written word that the world flew by as I became a part of the story and walked hand in hand with them. I devoured page after page and before I knew it, it was over and a couple of hours were behind me. These beautiful and complex characters are hopelessly flawed and and made my heart ache and felt their pain down to my soul.
I can’t wait to see what India comes up with for the rest of the series!

Rising Star written by Susannah Nix is a Starstruck Novel. Alice and Griffin are adorable. They are both standoffish at first with Griffin being an actor he’s used to putting on a show for every one and everything. Alice however is the exact opposite when It comes to attention, she would much rather be behind the scenes. Watching Alice come out of her shell and revert to the fun loving character that she used to be is fun and eye opening. Griffin is entertaining to read about when it comes to Alice. Should he? Shouldn’t he? Seems to be the last common thought lately when it comes to anything related to Alice.

Finding Juniper is an amazing addition to the Smoke series by Sadia Ash and is the final installment of Juniper and Kyle’s love story. It is wonderfully written and is told in dual POV. I enjoyed the first book and this one is so much more. Sadia’s writing style was even better for this book.
Kyle is wonderfully flawed and complex and at times I wanted to strangle him. Likewise with Juniper, she forced so much heartache and sorrow that I just wanted to shake some sense into her but this tale of their love story is just epic. So much so I found myself thinking I could just skip to the end to know the outcome. But I didn’t I poured over every word, every emotion, every thought and loved every minute of it. We got to see the characters grow and see more of their background and what made them, them.
This unique and powerful story may frustrate you but it is so worth the read. It is one love story that should not be missed.

Several years ago, I saw a cover of this book on Amazon and it wowed me so I bought the book without reading any of the reviews or the synopsis. The first couple of pages dropped my jaw and I went “WTF am I reading?” because I find it impossible to not finish a book I start, I continued reading and to this day it is in my top 5 best books ever. The entire series blew me away and I fell in love with that author, Courtney Cole.
Fast forward a little over 4 years later and I see she has written a new book called Saving Beck. If you have ever been touched by addiction especially as the loved one of an addict then this book will touch you in so many ways. The author takes a very serious epidemic and weaves it into a heart wrenching story on so many levels. This book will showcase how even when you think it can’t happen to your family, you can never predict. It shows that no matter who you are it can happen to you.
This book had me in tears from beginning to end because I could feel the hurt, the questions, the frustration, the pain, the self-questioning and most importantly the realization that no matter how much you love someone, no matter how much you love the addict, no matter how much you give, sacrifice, and try to mend them, only they can mend themselves. Only they can make the end choice to move forward. It reminds you, that it’s not your battle, that you can’t love them out of the addiction, you can’t anger them out of the addiction, you can’t guilt or beat them out of the addiction, and that sometimes all you can do is sit back, love, hope, and most of all pray that it all works out, knowing that not everyone can be saved. Courtney Cole, writes this story with such truth and gusto. Her words grab you by the heart and squeeze. She brings you to tears and to your knees, and makes you “hear” all the things you don’t want to hear as the loved one.

I really enjoy this authors work. Every book is unique and has just the right amount of crazy. I do have to say that Only By His Touch was my favorite book in the series. The characters were very refreshing. Sam and Ethan had a very unique chemistry and history. To grow feelings for someone who you have never met face to face bit have shared so much of yourself with. The other books were just as good. Bryce and Michelle were an interesting couple and I loved how open Bryce was. Emma and Colin had me giggling a little. He waited so long and Lord that was super sweet and scary. She could’ve fell for someone else or not felt the same way about him. This is book 3 but can be read as a standalone but I’ll definitely be going back and reading the others after this fantastic story. This author is new to me and I’m definitely impressed with the writing style and characters created. From page one I was completely hooked and couldn’t put it down until the last page. It’s got just the right mix of of suspense and romance making for a very intriguing story. I can’t wait to read more from this author! I’m giving this book a five star review and highly recommend it to everyone.

I am not a fan of Kyle’s. I’m not sure how Juniper put up with him. There were some parts that set this book apart from others. The characters were well written and showed a rang of emotions. I understood why Kyle was so lost. I didn’t really see why Juniper put herself through all the craziness. This is my first book by this author and it didn’t disappoint. I did think some of the chapters were a little long and maybe unnecessary but it worked in the end. I probably would’ve handled the situation differently than Juniper. I believe in second chances but not at the cost of my happiness. I believe in following your instincts but not at the cost of your morals. What a funny, cute and entertaining story. Jamie Schlosser is such a great storyteller and writer. The main characters, Theo and Hadley, were engaging and fun to get to know. The secondary characters were just as funny to read about. There was at least one sex scene that was out of this world hot. Not for the faint of heart. I love the way Hadley “talks” to herself. And Theo really isn’t as bad as the paparazzi makes him out to be, right?
I have read other stories by this author and was hoping for another good read! Luckily, I was not disappointed. I highly recommend this story for readers over 18. It is a standalone and can be read in one day.
This is the first book that I have read by this author and I thought it was really good! This is the third book in the series and has characters that have been in previous books but it can be read as a stand-alone just fine. I LOVED this author’s writing style. I was pulled in from page one and I couldn’t get enough of the main characters and meeting each of them. Kent and Alexa are great MCs and I loved reading their story. I am looking forward to reading more by this author and I think you should absolutely go and read this book!! Happy Reading!

Sadia Ash has finally delivered the next book in the Smoke Series, Finding Juniper. After reading Juniper Smoke, I couldn’t wait to see how this story continued and the author has not disappointed. This stunning conclusion for Kyle and Juniper was the epitome of what a story should be about. This story picks up and you are immediately immersed into all that made the previous book(s) inexplicably amazing. Finding Juniper is fully charged with emotion, desire, longing and choices. The quirks about the main characters is what makes this story unforgettably of one of the best romances this year. If you have not read this book/series yet, you are absolutely missing out!!

FINDING JUNIPER is the third book in the “Smoke Series”. It has been a while since books 1&2 came out and I suggest reading (rereading) them in order as each picks up where the last left off.
This is an epic saga with layers upon layers of action and activity. Told in alternative POVs, this story is told in such a way that I was sucked in from the very beginning. I found myself wanting to skim past the details because I NEEDED to know how Juniper and Kyle’s journey ends.
There were times I wanted to throw my Kindle against the wall and other times I wanted to hug it close. Secondary characters are important members of the story, no detail is spared.

This was a fantastic read! I loved the characters, after Locke grew on me, but you’ll understand what i mean when you read it. Tessa is helping those she can while on shift as a Dr. in the emergency room. But when one she helps gets her into trouble , she’s thrown for a loop as to who saves her. But no good deed is ever really free is it? I cant wait to see if this gets more books as I need to know about not just Tessa and Locke, but others in this book as well. I was not ready for this to be over.

The Debt Collector: An Underground Bad Boys Romance by India Kells hooked me from the very beginning and didn’t let go.
Dr. Tessa Freeman was fully expecting it to be a normal night at the ER but she was so wrong. Just one small moment ripples into something so much bigger and you have no idea what that moment means until much later.
Locke is mysterious and brooding and has to have everything in its place. But I think there is something in him that’s a lot deeper that we only caught a glimpse of.
Have my fingers crossed that this is just the beginning of a series, I want to see more of Tessa and Locke but also want to know more about Gage and his story.

Souls Collide is the third book in Kristina Beck’s Collide series. The whole series is a standalone so you are welcome to start with this one, you will not miss out on anything. Of course if you have read the first two books already then you will enjoy meeting the characters from them here as the writer brings them all together. It is the first book I have read by this writer and I know, it will not be the last one! Souls Collide is a beautiful story of two souls meeting – Alexa and Kent. They are as opposite as two people can be – Alexa is the friendly and charmed and positive gal that seems to have it all … Kent on the other hand has seen too much of the darker side of the life as he is a police officer. He has also experienced soul deep loss and that has marked him … marked him in a way that you think he might never get over it. I admire how the writer handles the horrible illness that took Kent’s mother and now has also taken hold of his sister Abby. She gives us Abby who is the embodiment of a resilient human spirit on a journey filled with grace and beauty and courage … She brings us optimism and hope and you will find yourself feeling different towards the ones fighting the disease and the ones who have survived … Souls Collide pulls you in and doesn’t let you go – the deep connection between Alexa and Kent while fighting the challenges together … it shows us that even when the life tries to take us down, it can also bring us together when we open ourselves up to love and commit to it.

I have read so many of this authors books and I think all of these in this series…I love them all..when I saw this one it was a no brainer….and it just might be my favorite of all of them…Well for today it is, I think in a small way each one holds that title.
Brett was awesome, so sweet and carried the friend zone title well, until he didn’t LOL Liv I think is my favorite kind of female lead..She had me cracking up and these people made me want to know them.
I love this author and her writing always grabs me at page 1 and I don’t want to put the book down and this one was no different, I read it in one sitting and actually tried to slow my reading so it wouldn’t end. I really want to go back and read all of these again back to back. I can’t recommend this book and this series and this author enough.

The Only Series by Bree Kraemer is 5 books in this very convenient boxed set! The boxed set included ALL of the books in the series – Only By His Touch, Only With Trust, If Only, Only You, and Only For Love. You could read all of them as standalones but they do complement each other and the main characters are all connected, one way or the other – whether siblings, or friends, or brothers-in-arms or … I love boxed sets as at times when you fall in love with a series it is such a pain needing to wait for the next book and when it is a boxed set you know you are guaranteed hours and hours of deep pleasure! I first fell in love with Bree’s writing when I read her Cedarville series and I always wondered if she’d be able to beat it and yes, she did … she gave us Samantha and Ethan, Michelle and Bryce, Sophie and Kevin, Emma and Colin, Gretchen and Steve … We have five stories of struggles and chemistry and we all feel like part of their stories and we root for them and we laugh with them and we cry with them … It is absolutely a must read!

I give The Confectioner’s Truth (Confectioner Chronicles Book 3) by Claire Luana, 5 stars. **This review contains spoilers from previous books in the series.**
It seems like nothing will be right again. Wren has fought to be where she is today, but where has it brought her? Betrayed by a good friend. While another lays dead from something Wren encouraged. And the man she loves — gone from her and she doesn’t know where — or if he’s even alive. She can’t do this anymore. But the new king may just be even worse than the previous. There is a dark plot going on, destroying what little left Wren holds dear. Can she find the strength to help stop it? Does she even want to try? Or should she just flee?
This series has been absolutely amazing. And this, the conclusion, is no different in that regard. Each book seems to have gotten darker and this is definitely the darkest one yet. There is so much despair, especially in the beginning of the book. But there is also action and love amongst the heartbreak. Not to mention the characters. Many of them are back from the previous books. And the growth they have all gone through is astounding. Some for better, some for worse. Some seem lost, others find their true meaning. Plus there are new characters we meet, both ones we love and ones we hate. Some, we’re not sure about just yet.
Yes, this is the conclusion to this series and is does not disappoint in that aspect. It does bring us a certain kind of closure. But my heart breaks, because I really want to see so much more of this world. Dear author, can we please see more of this wonderful world?
For those lovers of fantasy in a world of action and twists and turns, I highly recommend this whole series.

Surviving the Storm by Virginia Wine is the second book in the Surviving Series. This book can be read as a stand-alone. For me this whole book was about the characters. I could feel the chemistry between them from their first meeting and felt it throughout the book. The author knows how to develop the story and keeps you hooked from the start. I loved the first book but this book was easily even better than the first. Although you do not need to read the first book I would highly recommend you do as it is a great series to read. I can’t wait to see what else is to come.

I will admit that this isn’t my go to genre but I do like to try out new types of books. I have to admit that I did find this book quite enjoyable. The author does a great job with handling the subject matter within the book. I found that I was quite drawn into this book as the drama unfolded in it.
The emotions that Tessa went through and the drama I felt as though I was going through it vicariously through the character. I found that I started to route for Locke the more the book progressed. Sometimes the bad boy isn’t such a bad boy at all and they are the ones that save the damsel in distress. I really liked the author’s writing style and will definitely read more from her in the future.
